How specific can wholesale become?3h agoSomeone is building business reselling china wholesale handbags to local boutiques at marked up prices. They've never worked in fashion but convinced themselves there's money in being middleman between manufacturers and retailers. The margins are smaller than expected once shipping and storage costs are factored in properly. They'd invested in initial inventory after watching videos about wholesale business opportunities promising easy profits. Now they have storage unit full of handbags trying to convince stores to buy instead of ordering directly. We've been sold on idea that inserting yourself as middleman creates viable business without considering retailers can acce... Business owners: how do you run accounting for your biz?4h agoTo clarify I'm not from KRA. I'm gathering advice from Nairobi business owners (dukas, restaurants, liquor stores, fashion, services, anything) And i'd love to know... \~ If you could remove one task from your day (as an owner), what would it be? If you’re open to sharing more?, I’d love to hear: 1. How do you confidently answer: "What did I really make today, and where did the money go?” 2. What are your top 3 headaches daily/weekly? (cash, staff, suppliers, stock, rent, debtors, theft, etc.) 3. If you could magically fix ONE thing in your shop operations, what would it be? 4. If someone offered you a simple “digital manager” on your phone, what would... The voices... There's too many voices and I don't know which are mine [Internalized transphobia?]5h agoHello! I'm 19 AMAB and I've been questioning for a month or two now. No dysphoria, but slowly finding I have a complete lack of euphoria as a guy ([Thank you dysphoria bible!!](https://genderdysphoria.fyi/en/am-i-trans)) I have a few *********** friends and they encouraged me to experiment with my fashion once I told them about what I was feeling. I went to the local thrift store and used the changing rooms to try on dresses, skirts, yoga pants (I already own some and love them), and finally a few sports bras. I really didn't know what to think when going through everything because I had mixed feelings that I'll get to in a sec. But this one sports bra stood out to me fo... Stuck at 99% Completed :(6h agoPlaying Vice City DE on PS4/PS5. I have been searching for ages to try and resolve this :( I have placed 1st in all races. I have completed Checkpoint Charlie twice. Every Asset has the $ icon outside and has the maximum amount of daily income. I have fully completed the main missions and gang missions. The only letters on the map are V, for the mansion, and P for Phil. Weapons are available at Phil's so that implies those missions are also completed. A Quiet Place Day One operates in fairytale nonsense land. What is this garbage?! (Spoilers)7h agoThere are a lot of spoilers below and I can't make a cohesive argument without calling out all the nonsense. Don't read this if you haven't seen the movie or don't care. In order to watch this movie, you have to suspend everything you know about the aliens from the original and 2nd film, humanity, physics, New York City, etc. There are 8.5 million people that live in NYC. They don't all just fit on a boat, they're not all **** enough to walk down the middle of the street like a conveyor belt of meat, and they certainly aren't going to evacuate the city in an orderly or compliant fashion. Nobody looted the drug store or bars? Why aren't ragtag survivor... Did I lose the plot?7h agoI'm 24. I've always deemed myself to be stylish, or rather, to have a keen eye for special garments. However, as I've grown older, I found myself falling out of love with fashion. I feel like I started lingering on the wardrobe I built during high school. Which, admittedly, there's nothing wrong about that, I know. But you see, I am not the same person I was in high school. I think It's about time I move on. Not only that, but I feel like I'm in that in-between age where starting to dress in a more distinguished manner is very much appreciated. My peers have started looking for suits, tailored fits, buttoned shirts and ties, while i'm still out here wearin... At what point did you start buying new clothes?7h agoSW: 185lbs CW: 170lbs If you have a decent amount of weight to lose and expect to drop some clothing sizes, at what point do you start buying clothes that fit better? I’m not well off financially and was going to wait until I drop 30 more pounds before I start buying new clothes (goal weight is an additional 15 pounds). But my current clothes are starting to not fit right. Clothes are too expensive to keep replacing them whenever I drop weight, and it feels irresponsible to buy clothing I know I won’t be able to wear for long. Especially since my budget can really only justify thrift stores and fast fashion, but thrift stores near me don’t have many flattering options. You Create Kit #003 at Amazon. Enhance Your Pretoria Retail Business with Optimal Shopfront Lighting8h agoRetail shopfront lighting often gets reduced to a single question: “How bright should it be?” In practice, that is one of the least useful ways to think about it. A better starting point is: “What do I want people to notice first, second, and third when they see my shopfront?” Once you know that, lighting becomes a tool to control attention, guide movement, and support your brand. Brightness is part of the answer, but contrast, colour, and direction usually matter more. Think about contrast before anything else. Our eyes are naturally drawn to the brightest area in our field of view, especially when that bright area is surrounded by something darker. If your façade and the pav... Chad Meme9h agoWhy Thoughtful Corporate Gifting Matters More Than Ever9h agoCorporate gifting has come a long way from standard mugs and printed notebooks. Nowadays gifts are used by corporations as a means of expressing gratitude, to build rapport and establish personal connections between employees or partners. Their personal curations offer a message that speaks louder than words: effort, care and intention. When people get something they truly want and appreciate, it creates a great memory that’s tied to the brand for way longer than a run-of-the-mill thank-you email. Modern professionals care about quality, design and intention. They want things they can really use in their everyday lives, not items that will languish in a drawer. It’s this chang... Mumbai feels lonely sometimes. Anyone want to build a small friend circle?9h agoHi. This is me gently stepping out of my comfort zone and putting myself out there also, I’m absolutely frightened of the scrutiny of public opinion. I’m 25 years old, from Mumbai; an ex-introvert so never really got to make a lot of friends; Not really into alcohol; although I don’t mind going to private events to dance all by myself amongst other people but honestly I’m one of those souls who lurk on their beds in jammies and wonder about having a real social life apart from just acquaintances and networking events/parties. To begin with; Mumbai is an incredible city but sadly, also strangely lonely sometimes. Everyone’s busy building careers, surviving rent, moving cities or... 🛡︠Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
