I got a Fire to test using it for a real-time heads up display, but much of the display is gobbled up by Silk's top banner and the old fashioned Android buttons on the bottom. I tried to install other browsers, but none are available in its store. Silk has very few options and the page I go to won't hide the top banner by scrolling up. Would love a full screen mode in any browser, including Silk. Would do the job. Questions -- other browsers are forbidden on Kindle Fires? Is that something Amazon insists on?
