My sister and I just got back from a weekend at the Mall of America and we had an absolute blast! We're already searching for our next getaway destination and looking for recommendations of your favorite affordable, "hidden gem" places we might not have heard of that we should visit. MOA was perfect because it was fairly affordable and not overly crowded, we didn't need a car, and the activities were right up our alley. This is the first year I’ve gone. I searched this sub for tips and didn’t find any recent posts, so hopefully this will help someone who’s thinking of going. If you’ve been before or have more tips please add them. They do have a very active Instagram account, to give you an idea of the size of the place and the kinds of things they have. I noticed that this Saturday is sold out, so expect a really big crowd. Tickets need to be purchased online to enter at 10:00, or you can wait in line ‘till 11:00 when they’ll let people purchase entry as space permits.
