Of course most people are going with a star motif or something grunge. I don’t have a ton of stuff in my closet like that already save for maybe some tights or jewelry. I’m looking at Shein for inspo but I REALLY don’t want to buy anything from there for obvious reasons. Almost every store these days is fast fashion and it seems pretty much unavoidable, and the thrifts are filled with it too. It’s not just a moral issue for me but I also don’t want to buy clothes that will fall apart after a few washes. Any suggestions? I’m open to making my own clothes too if anyone has tips for that. Hi, so I don’t usually post on Reddit but I NEED help, I found a gorgeous dress at a thrift store, I was planning to do minor alterations, the straps are WAY too short, but other than that it fits like a glove, and I was thinking about adding a small fringe and pearls to the bottom just to up the 1920’s vibe for a party I’m going to.
