Just got home from a Coles store. I saw a poor young employee working the ends getting drilled by a much older manager on the shop floor. I was disgusted and stuck up for the poor young kid - I ended up telling the manager that he should have some respect and talk to his staff in a better fashion. Manager left the situation grunting and groaning, the young lad thanked me with a huge smile on his face in return. Coles management: rather than humiliate employees under you in public, can you have the decency to work on your management skills…or at the very least, take an employee to your office (or the storeroom) if you want to let your ego run wild?
