I've seen some post asking about a similar issue on the pixel 6 years ago, but not in the same fashion as what happened to my phone : basically, the volume down button stopped working for no reason without any previous signs, it wasn't always pressed on, rather pressing it did nothing. so I tried to restart my pixel 6 because it's the solution most of the time given how this phone is a software mess. I am a full time female "back room crew" (I do everything in ogp besides picking) and have been for a year.
