Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Chicos Latest Community Discussions About ChicosWhat Should Justice Look Like?3h agoAfter the initial deluge of information and the first few waves of emotion, I have reached a mental clarity (bordering on feeling like detachment) that I absolutely did not expect. My rage and grief have in no way dissipated or even abated, but somehow my brain has managed to store these emotions in a fashion that isn’t causing any immediate and/or noticeable harm. All I know and feel now is that the following needs to be done: 1. All perpetrators need to be systematically prosecuted and punished to the most severe degree possible, even if that requires retroactive application of capital punishment. 2. Their assets must be seized and redistributed, first to the survivors and the victims... Working with leather for my MFA!3h agoI’m documenting my two years at FIT (MFA in Fashion Design), and I’m currently in my second semester. I’m just sharing as I learn and experiment with different materials. I made these swatches from leftover leather I found at the fabric store. My thesis is mainly based on my grandmother’s work. She practices an art form called Sanjhi, which originates from Mathura and Vrindavan, India. The frames I’ve attached here (last two slides) were my inspiration, and they’re all her work!! It's all made with paper and the tiny surgical scissors. Her grandfather also practiced the craft! Does anyone buy shoes from “proper” shoe shops anymore?3h agoNot necessarily formal shoes, just everyday shoes and trainers, but from actual stores that specialise in shoes (including highstreet shops like Clarks), instead of cheap own brand shoes from highstreet retailers i have a young child and will only buy from Clarks or Start-Rite as the quality level and fit is pretty noticeable compared to fashion retailers. But it occurred to me I don’t do the same for my own shoes, but perhaps I should? I think I’ve finally stopped caring if my clothes actually match.3h agoI’m not really much of a fashion person ever since I was a kid, it’s something I picked up from my mom, spent most of my life trying to blend in and be like every other normal person out there but lately, I’ve just resigned myself to being ME, with my utterly weird and crazy fashion sense. My style is essentially a chaotic mix of oversized thrift store finds and just random pieces that have no business being in the same outfit. I was at this coffee shop last week, I was wearing a vintage floral blazer over a graphic tee, paired with some joggers. The finishing touch was this unique looking face cap I found on Alibaba while just casually scrolling through my phone at 2am. I was drawn ... 10 Y/O Fashion-Forward Daughter’s Thrift Store Find in Canada4h agoThis post is somewhere between a show and tell and a questions post. I’ve been doing research on this cameo but am not an expert - some of my understanding could be incorrect and I don’t want to mislead. I suspect this is a mid-century brooch (not late 1800’s-early 1900’s) and it appears to be hand-carved shell. From what I’ve read, left-facing cameos were less common in the Victorian era and most scalloped brass brooches like this were costume. I’m trying to educate myself more on hairstyles and clasps to help date it more accurately. The clasp appears to have twisted so it blocks one of the scallops but I may be able to adjust it (feel free to tell me not to if this isn... Where to buy PLL inspired clothes?4h agoWe all know the liars have some unique fashion senses, and during my recent rewatch I fell in love with it all over! Does anyone know any good stores / places / key words to find some PLL inspired fashion? 🔥 Temu Coupon Codes for Existing Users in 2026 — Boost Your Savings Today!4h agoLooking to save **big on Temu** — even after your first order? Welcome to r/thriftfind ദ്ദി(˃ ᵕ ˂ ദ്ദി)4h agoHi and welcome everyone to r/thriftfind for all the fashion items you have thrifted. I created this subreddit because in other communities it’s only allowed to post second hand hauls found in physical stores. However, I have so many fashion grails from online thrift platforms that I would love to share as well - and I’m sure others do too! This is a space to share your amazing thrifted clothing, shoes, and accessories, whether they’re found in-store or online. Let’s show off great finds together and inspire each other! Fashionable casual/tennis shoes for 11YO4h agoHi, my daugher has flat feet and has started to develop mild bunions. I have insoles to help her avoid and have shown an orthotist. I know all the standard stuff like, try to get a wider toe box, etc. but am struggling to find a shoe she will ACTUALLY wear. She'd prefer crocs (no support and would be hard to add an insole), Ugg style shoes (no real support), or converse, and loves fashion and is pretty girly, so I'm struggling to find something she'd actually wear. Any suggestions for either specific brands that she could still try on in person, or a store that has a wide variety of shoes? Thanks in advance for any help! Return to office budget business causal/smart casual wardrobe?5h agoI'm not a big fashion guy, in a perfect world I'd go to The Clothing Store™ and buy 5 of every staple and be done. But now I have to return to office after a long WFH reprieve and need to dress the part, so I need a full wardrobe. No real dress code so somewhere between smart casual and business casual. I've already grabbed Thursday Boot Co Scout Chukkas and belt, now I'm thinking about just grabbing like 4 Charles Tyrwhitt "Ultimate Non-Iron Chinos" at $89, and 6-8 Charles Tyrwhitt button downs (Stretch Washed Oxford/Stretch Washed Poplin Gingham/etc.) at $49. Any better bang for my buck? Jcrew is the obvious choice but more expensive shirts with less sel... Gems wanting to casually reform into a different style in Future is both amusing but interesting5h agoLike, using Future Peri as an example, I like to hc she spent weeks or even months sketching out her new fit with the star and pointy visors. Then, logically since reforming to a new permanent style takes getting poofed, shed literally have to tell Lapis or Bismuth to slice her💀 It's amusing to think about those logistics, but also interesting world building! Imagine a fashion store for gems where it's just magazines of fashion ideas to purchase. This could introduce a whole new job for some gems where their job is just to slice and dice other gems that want to reform with new outfits on. Second Life (One of many lucid dreams I've had )6h agoI can't help but post a Series of dreams I've had that have changed my life completely. How I view love, death, the interconnectivity of the human spirituality and what lies beyond. I don't know why I have had these dreams and continued having them. But I'll start with the big one, the one where I lived a second life and remember vividly to this day. I was about 13 or 14 when I started having this dream, and when I say that I would go to sleep in the dream before I woke up in real life and vice versa, it boggled my mind. I have tons even from recent years that I would love to share because quite honestly its insane The first time I woke up in this new life, I was in a ... I went into the TikTok viral Rogue store, and it was awful. Bad review!!6h agoI’m very into fashion, but was NOT wearing my fashionable outfits, as I was only in NYC for a day-trip to try and land a job + apartment (unsuccessful, unfortunately). I thought I’d pop by Rogue for fun. I’m obviously not an influencer, so I didn’t expect royalty treatment. I do realise I was thinking I’d get… the bare minimum though. I walked in, and all of the employees made eye contact with me. They basically looked me up and down, said nothing, and went back to what they were doing. I was super shocked. I work in retail, so obviously I understand not wanting to interact with every single customer, especially on a Friday evening when you just want to go home. But to delibera... Prices in gcc countries6h agoThe pricing situation in the gulf specially Saudi Arabia is just absurd , we don't have Elegoo official site so our options of buying are either by buying from Amazon (the seller are elegoo them self) or from distributors (who are selling elegoo and other brands for 300% the original price) .my problem is with Elegoo them self as I found from reading this sub is that they do inflate the price in amazon so u would be forced to buy from their site and even with them inflating the price it wouldn't be more than 100$ extra as shown in the pictures of there uk and japan stores (It is worth noting that the average salary of Saudi citizens ($30,700) annually which is less than the UK and ... Calam at the Dublin International film festival6h agoSo Calam will be at the Dublin International film festival for his new movie "Once opon a time in a cinema" on the 20th of February. Now mind you this is the first time we've seen this man since like November of 2025, right when bton promo started this man took a page out of Claudia's book and went MIA (suspicious) and since we have a ton of new or old but now more active members who might witness their first Calam red carpet (?) sighting as we try to find any pics of him, I thought we'll play a little game, a game of fashion 😉 Now Calam's fashion has been.... Good for the most part mmmhhhh I mean Rings of Pwoer premiere he pulled out all the stops, bton s2... What's your sourcing strategy that doesn't involve driving to 47 thrift stores?7h agoThis is gonna sound like a good problem to have but i'm genuinely stuck, been selling on depop for a while now. Started because i was sick of fast fashion and wanted to offer unique pieces, the kind of stuff where you're like holy I've never seen anything like this before. That's the whole vibe of my shop and it's what people follow me for. But here's where I'm losing my mind sourcing is a nightmare. I'll spend an entire Saturday hitting up thrift stores and estate sales and maybe walk away with like 3-5 pieces that fit my aesthetic. They sell fast which is great but then I'm back to square one, rinse and repeat every single week. My customers... Mini Backpack Gift Ideas7h agoFinding the perfect gift can feel surprisingly difficult, especially when you want something that is stylish, practical, and genuinely appreciated. Mini backpacks have quietly become one of the most versatile gift options across age groups and lifestyles. They combine fashion with functionality, making them suitable for students, travelers, professionals, parents, and trend lovers alike. Unlike many accessories that serve only an aesthetic purpose, a mini backpack offers everyday utility. It is compact yet spacious enough for essentials, comfortable to carry, and available in endless designs. Whether you are shopping for a birthday, holiday, graduation, or a “just because” surprise, min... Question: optician services8h agoI am new here, but I have been wearing glasses all my life. Every optical store I went to, the opticians will give me fashion advice. Actually they **** clients browsing through their displays. However, most of the posts here are asking advice, and their choices of glasses are either way too big, or not suitable for their faces. I’m wondering, if opticians at Walmart, Costco etc, don’t give fashion advice at all. Just asking. 🛡︠Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
