My daughter was in the hospital recently and they had a fish tank for the kids. I promised if she got better I’d get her a fish. 24 hrs have passed since my last post on this little guy. I hesitate to say he's doing either better or worse, to be honest. He's just had his first salt bath and he's back in his 'hospital bed' now, basically a raised breeder box in the main aquarium so he's close to the surface at all times. In the video he's in his salt bath (previously his 'hospital tank'), which I keep separate from his main tank. He flips over a lot when trying to go up for air, and otherwise he usually sinks to the bottom and lays on his side. Breathing has eased up a bit. I've had a tank for a while but recently upgraded it with a larger size and filter 78L fluval 207 filter male betta (an extremely chill dude), one platy ive had since my old tank, 12 amano shrimp, 5 guppies, 4 otos, 6 minows is there anything I can improve? my local fish store said that im doing fine with how im currently doing: 25% water change weekly one small pinch of flakes daily, one small cube of frozen bloodworms daily near evening time, and a pellet of shrimp food every 3 days (yeah I know it looks bad with the electricals, I'm planning on building a shelf in the cabinet to allow a drip loop to actually be feasible)
