Berberine for Belly Fat (12 Studies Prove It Works)

2h ago

Most people use "belly fat" loosely, but there are two very different things hiding under that label, and the distinction matters a lot for why berberine for belly fat has gotten serious research attention. The clinical interest isn't in cosmetic weight loss. It's in visceral fat, the metabolically active fat stored around your internal organs, and what it does to your metabolic health over time. # Subcutaneous vs. Visceral Belly Fat Subcutaneous fat sits just under the skin. It's the fat most people think about when they think about body composition, and while it's not irrelevant to health, it doesn't carry the same metabolic risk. Visceral fat is diffe...

The Slumber Party Sermon

2h ago

**The air in Maya’s basement was thick with the scent of over-buttered popcorn and cheap vanilla candles. Outside, a rhythmic rain lashed against the small, rectangular windows near the ceiling, casting flickering shadows across the four sleeping bags sprawled on the floor.** **Maya, Chloe, and Sarah were huddled together, their faces illuminated by the ghostly blue glow of a dying flashlight. They had spent the last hour trading the usual urban legends—the Hookman, the Vanishing Hitchhiker, the girl with the green ribbon around her neck.** **"Okay, okay, my turn." Chloe chirped, though her voice lacked any real tremor of fear, "Did you hear about the babysitter who kept...

Up & left the store

2h ago

I always get so anxious whenever I’m shopping under bright florescent lights. But I’m usually able to just push through it and get my shopping done. Today was completely different unfortunately. As soon as I was heading to checkout my ears started ringing, my face, tongue and hands starting tingling and going numb. And I could feel the tunnel vision coming. I’ve never been more scared while at Walmart and it happened about 30 minutes after I left the store again. Now my body feels completely wiped out and I’m so mentally exhausted. Has this happened to anyone else? I just want to cry because I feel so alone.

*WIP* Assassin bunbun.

This is my latest piece, been working on her on and off for a year or so now. I like to put different expressions on either side of the heads for all my anthro figures, it allows for more variety when photographing, sometimes they end up looking pretty good from the front, too. The body I'm using was pretty skinny and the top I've chosen for her fits snug, so A: It was hugging all the joints too tightly and B: Bunnies are all muscle, she should be a little beefier, so I made her a little muscle suit. It's a bit sloppy, but I had to make sure everything fit right. Next I need to make her some feet, paint them and the heads and she's done. Vaguely considering sell...

Antique stores with Masonic items?

2h ago

Hello all, and good evening! 😁 As the title says, I’m wondering if there’s any local or semi-local. Antique stores or flea markets that have Masonic items. Or, items from our concordat bodies. Ideally swords/Pins/Jewlery. I’d appreciate any help, or advice! As, I’d love to use something old instead of buying new. Thank you! Just an only guy 😎😎

Help! How to tell a new employee they stink up the office...

2h ago

I work in a tiny 5 person office. We do have 12 other employees that only take up space in the office 1st thing in the morning. We are a very laid back mom & pop type of service business that performs repair services in extremely wealthy peoples homes. This is where I believe the owner will eventually have to speak up. We have a relatively new service employee that practically bathes in patchouli cologne prior to coming into work. Next to bleach, that is public enemy #2 for my nose. I find myself having to use hand sanitizer to neutralize the odor. If I'm bowled over by the stench, I am so surprised our wealthy clientele haven't called in to complain (apparently I...

Xtreme Discount HD IPTV Review: Surprisingly Effective Streaming Solution

2h ago

This is my honest \[Xtreme Discount HD IPTV review\](https://profitblaster.org/api/go/8nlerz) after putting it through its paces. I’ll admit I was skeptical about diving into yet another streaming service. With so many options out there, it felt overwhelming to choose. Yet, after hearing multiple recommendations from friends who swore by it, I decided to give this service a try. What drew me in was the promise of a vast selection of channels and on-demand content, all in stunning HD and 4K quality. I've spent years navigating various frustrating streaming platforms. It has been a rollercoaster ride of subscription commitments, buffering nightmares, and limited content. This often l...

Marla Alone

2h ago

Marla knew she would not survive much longer. It had been two months since her Cessna went down in the North Woods of Maine. She sat in the remnants of the aircraft, which had become the centerpiece of her makeshift camp. She watched as her small campfire smoldered just outside. She needed to collect more firewood, but she pushed that from her mind for the time being. It was the latest hour of her day, and she always reserved it for reminiscing. She thought back to her twenty-sixth birthday. It was only two years prior, but it felt like a lifetime ago. She celebrated by flying cross country to visit her friend Helena in Olympia, Washington. Helena took her to a concert at Capitol Lake Park...

What Nietzsche taught

2h ago

It is no longer possible to ignore the teachings of Friedrich Nietzsche or to consider the trend of modern thought without giving the philosopher of superman a prominent place in the list of thinkers who contributed to the store of present-day knowledge. His powerful and ruthless mind has had an influence on contemporary thought which even now, in the face of all the scholarly books of appreciation he has called forth, one is inclined to underestimate. No philosopher since Kant has left so undeniable an imprint on modern thought. Even Schopenhauer, whose influence coloured the greater part of Europe, made no such widespread impression. Nietzsche has penetrated into both E...

The Low End

2h ago

So we're back. You're listening to *The Low End,* I'm your host, and sitting across from me doing that thing with her fantastic ears where she pretends she's not judging me is my cohost Syl, who is, as always, perfect and elven and wrong about almost everything. *I have never once been wrong.* You've never once admitted it. Different thing. Anyway. We got a lot of letters this week after last show's segment on rootwork, and Syl said something on air that I haven't been able to stop thinking about. You said, what was it, you said your people have been doing rootwork for centuries and it's about respect for the plant and intention and all that. And I...

Japan devlog - The beginning (Part 1)

2h ago

Hellooo! It’s time for our first devlog in Japan! It’s been three days since our residency in Japan began! As a reminder, “L’Agence - The Hearts of Paris” was selected to be part of the first cohort of Indie Game Lab Japan, a joint program between France (represented by the CNC and the Institut français) and Japan (represented by the publisher Kodansha). The goal of this residency is to spend three weeks working on our game alongside Japanese experts in storytelling, game design, marketing, and more (I'll present them in an other devlog)—with talks by big names in Japanese video games and manga, as well as playtests. Plus, we have three days dedicated to the Bit Summit ...

All - as a disclaimer, I am asking for anything monetarily, commercially, selling anything or the likes. I am trying to gauge if other people desire the same things that I do. It would be a massive investment in the tri-city region by a local / life-long resident. Local tri-city neighbors, I’m a local remote worker who is passionate for creating tangible items here in St. Charles. For a long time, I've been frustrated by the missing link in our local ecosystem: a clean, ultra-secure, professional-grade facility where you can seamlessly jump from advanced digital prototyping to physical manufacturing without the massive overhead of the professional equipment to do things accurat...

One Thousand Nine Hundred And Thirty-First Night

2h ago

A truly bittersweet day. Dark, windy, and horrible for so much of the it, only to surprise me with light and near-warmth when I had completely given up on it. The weather remains a *****. It was sunny for a while this morning and before I went out we had our lawn aerated by this sweet boy who was walking down the street advertising his services. He asked that I give him a good review because he's been promised a raise if he can get five stars. I hope what I wrote will suffice. I went outside at my usual time but the moment I did the wind and cloud rolled in. I swear it was about to rain, I brought my things in immediately and stay out only long enough for Peach to enjoy herself. Their ...

My biggest gripe with AI

2h ago

They have barely any memory of where you went I have went to Tiger Bay, got engaged by AI, he saw me go into the doorway, and he also saw me go right, he goes through same doorway and peels 90 degrees into opposite direction of where I went That in itself is my biggest gripe with AI, they don't even store memory of what they see It's like if you are a certain amount of meters away from them, they simply forget where you were, in my case it wasn't more than 10 It's been like this since past update as well, I simply don't see them following you visually reliably. They are on point with shooting, but then they completely forget where you went. Can MFG please work o...

Took 3 years off after university, came back to ship my first iOS app — karaoke-style sync for audiobooks you already ...

2h ago

Reading the post earlier today about this sub feeling like AI slop. I get it. So let me try to be a real person here. A bit about me first because that seems to matter now: I finished university about three and a half years ago and walked away from anything technical for three of those years. Burnt out, lost interest, did other things. Started building again last year because I missed it, not because I thought there was a market for anything. Spokt is the first app I've ever shipped on the App Store. Live for about a week now. WHY I BUILT THIS I have around 200GB of audiobooks. Long-form non-fiction mostly. I'd zone out, lose my place, rewind 3 minutes, lose it again. Audible + ...

Active Skin Repair Scar Shield

2h ago

Have you or would you use this after medical depth microneedling? Sounds like it would be good? I have a bottle, was thinking about using it. Here’s the blurb and ingredients: “Say goodbye to stubborn scars. Unlike traditional scar treatments that focus on scars after they form, Scar Shield works proactively during the healing process to help prevent scars from appearing in the first place. Formulated with care, this natural, non-toxic, and antibiotic-free gel is designed to reduce scarring while supporting your body’s natural healing process. Its non-sensitizing formula means no stinging or irritation, making it safe and gentle to use on sensitive areas like around the eyes, mouth, ...

I'm Not Sure What the Health Department Will Do About Wrinkled Sheets: Useless Musings of a Front Desk Agent

TFTFD 05/16 Dearest readers, I have a confession to make. It pains me to say, but I find myself quite disliking children nowadays. Maybe it is my aging womb crying out for children of its own, maybe it is due to my position as an old maid. As I find myself staring down the rapid approach of my twenty-second year on this plane, I realize more and more every day that I am not a fan of the youth. I find them quite loud and rambunctious. Perhaps I feel the need to be the loudest and the most rambunctious in whatever room I am in. Maybe it's my tendency to swear like a sailor who hasn't gotten his land legs back yet. Either way, most people in my life find my remarks on children'...

Why I Stopped Using Shopify Tracking Apps and Moved Everything Into GTM

2h ago

I kept running into the same problem on Shopify stores: \- Too many tracking apps \- Duplicate conversions \- GA4 numbers not matching Shopify \- Google Ads optimizing toward garbage data \- No visibility into what is actually firing So I ended up building a set of Shopify GTM tagging packs that use Shopify Customer Events + a proper ecommerce data layer instead of stacking a bunch of disconnected apps. The idea was simple: manage everything through your own GTM container. That means: \- GA4 \- Google Ads enhanced conversions \- Meta \- TikTok \- LinkedIn \- Microsoft Ads \- Pinterest \- Snapchat \- Hotjar \- Clarity \- and more …all from one place. It also makes debu...

Health and Recovered objects

Hello to all! I decided is time for me to give some of my biggest successes because I know how much can strengthen one’s knowing! (Bear in mind I type from phone app so it may not be structured in a very easy-pleasant way but I will do my best.) ✨Health✨ 4 years ago I experienced an eye accident which left me in excruciating pain and blindness for 4 days every few months, like a ritual, for two years. Doctors said a membrane barrier of cells was damaged and every 2-3 months I will go back to pain and blindness until treatment does its job. A temporary treatment because we’re a bunch of dripping solutions and gels I had to apply. After two years of immense suffering and frustrati...
