I have had Ozzy & Gilmour since August 3rd, there are approximately six weeks old when I got them from a reptile store. They were born to be feeders, but obviously they are not. I just read today that these little guys are called hooded rat rats because of the little black hood on their head. But I read on a comment that there’s a stigma behind them. I also saw when I tried to Google that hooded rats are prone to seizures. I take as best care as I possibly can with my boys. They eat Oxbow pellets for adult rats and have snacks like popcorn, blueberries, bananas, and of course, rodent treats.
