Two days ago I bought some oranges and one bunch of bananas (slightly green, almost ripe) from the grocery store. Today I noticed that one of the oranges was soft, soggy, and had a massive moldy spot on one side. Mellow Mushroom dough FTW. For those who don’t know you can walk into any MM and just buy dough from that day. $5 for a small dough (at my local store at least..) Makes a 10-12” pie depending on how thin you like it. I make my own dough all the time. Neapolitan, NY style, deep dish.. etc. but sometimes when I don’t have time I just snag a couple of these. Make some pretzels and throw some pizzas together. My pie: olive oil & garlic base, prosciutto and fig jam, mozzarella, tomato, goat cheese, arugula and balsamic drizzle. I could live off of nice warm banana bread with some butter, and water of course. To me, this tastes as welcoming as a piece of banana bread, and has the flavor to boot.
