Autozone is all about ******* every last dollar out of every last hapless soul that wonders through the door, So why not charge for check engine light fix finder scans? it would not cost anything additional as the technology and manpower is already there. 98% for the time nothing is purchased from it anyways, and if it is it get returned as its not the right part or the shop will not install a customer purchased part. even at $5 a pop with 6700 stores in the US and using an average of let’s say 10 scans per day per store thats $335,000 per day, over 121 million in the course of a year. This is my 2nd 12v on my ioniq 5 that has gone out. I will not be getting another one from the dealership. Does anyone have suggestions on what to get from autozone (autoparts store closest to me). Not really knowledgeable about specs but I can follow a YouTube video to replace it (and did it on my old Altima).

Hi all, I wonderd if someone here can offer a bit of advice. I have a 2024 Trax LT with 46,000 miles, and overall have been very happy with it. Over the past couple months, the engine has been "ticking" more than usual. I verified oil level (even performed an early oil change) but it didn't seem to make a difference. I brought it to the dealer recently to have the transmission fluid changed, and asked them to take a look at the noise, but they said it was normal, even though it's definitely louder than it used to be. Been doing more of my own maintenance lately and started paying closer attention to battery diagnostics instead of just waiting for failure. Vehicle is a 2018 Mustang EcoBoost with no warning lights and normal starting behavior even in colder mornings around 35 to 40°F. Recently ran a full battery test using a BT600 Plus while doing routine checks alongside charging system inspection. Results came back as: Rated battery 760 CCA Measured CCA between 620 and 640 State of Health around 80 percent Resting voltage after overnight sit about 12.6V Charging voltage steady at 14.4V For comparison, I also had AutoZone run their standard parts store test which still labeled the battery as GOOD...

I have a 21 impreza 5 door and for the life of me cant fix the trunk light, the bulb burned out awhile back and ive been to napa, O'Reilly, autozone and still cant get it to work and yes I made sure to flip the switch to make sure its actually on. 3 auto stores and multiple bulbs and nothing works. I was installing the heater line insert on the passenger side of the lower intake manifold. Not a good day. I'm reading what my options are. One of the options I have read about is to drill into the bolts. The two bolts end in the coolant chambers, as in if I drill too deep, I won't damage the block, just make the end of the drill bit wet. We were purchasing several parts, and an employee, Alfredo Reyes Jimenez, was helping us locate items that were low in stock. He took the time to check inventory and was professional, patient, and respectful the entire time. While he was assisting us, the inventory manager, Ana Andrade Da Cruz, approached and began harassing him in front of customers.
