Why Confluence Is Essential for Team Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing1h agoIn today’s fast-moving digital work environment, teams need more than just communication—they need a centralized space where ideas, documents, and knowledge come together seamlessly. That’s exactly where **Confluence** proves its value. It’s not just another workspace tool; it’s a hub that transforms scattered information into structured, accessible knowledge for everyone on the team. Here’s why Confluence stands out as an essential tool for collaboration and knowledge sharing: * **Centralized Knowledge Base** One of the biggest challenges teams face is information fragmentation. Files are scattered, updates get lost in messages, and important knowledge lives in people’s head... I just launched a sandbox game for Apple Watch, iPhone & iPad — building for watchOS was crazy1h agoHey all! I just launched WatchBlocks, a Terraria-inspired 2D sandbox game that runs natively on Apple Watch, iPhone, and iPad. Mac support is coming soon too. Building for watchOS was a genuinely unique challenge for a game of this scale. The screen size, input constraints, and performance limitations pushed me to rethink a lot of standard game design assumptions. I probably wouldn’t have thought too much about render distance if not for the performance constraints of Apple Watch. Happy to get into the technical details if anyone’s curious. Would love feedback from this community especially! The game is out now, it’s $1.99, but there’s also a TestFlight for people who just want to... Wendy’s turnover NCNS1h agoI’ve been at my Wendy’s for a bit now and I’m genuinely curious how bad the turnover is at other stores. We hire a ton of new people, train them up, and then a bunch of them just… disappear after their first week or even after a couple shifts. No call, no show, nothing. It leaves the rest of us slammed during rushes and the managers scrambling to cover. Is this super common across Wendy’s locations? Or is my store just unlucky? • How often do you see new hires ghost or NCNS? • Do most people at least give some kind of notice, or is straight-up no-call-no-show the usual way people quit? • What’s the worst wave of no-shows you’ve dealt with? • Any tips from manag... VaultBar – A simpler way to encrypt files locally on macOS1h agohttps://preview.redd.it/yrd0h402vivg1.png?width=1600&format=png&auto=webp&s=e7e037270d1f7faf772beee6e51ddc4805ea75a6 Hey, I built a small macOS menubar app called VaultBar. It’s for encrypting and decrypting files or folders locally from the menu bar, Finder, or drag and drop. I wanted something that feels native and quick, instead of a separate “security tool” you only open when you have to. I’d be interested in honest feedback, especially on whether the website explains the idea clearly and whether the workflow makes sense. Pricing is currently at $6.99. I have 10 promo codes if anyone wants to test it. Will post them below. Website: [https://benwie.ch... How do you map your tasks to your energy levels instead of just using a flat to-do list?1h agoI’ve realized that traditional to-do lists are kind of broken for me. If I put my hardest, most cognitively demanding task at 2:00 PM, I will almost certainly fail or do a terrible job, because that’s right when my biological slump hits. Recently, I started entirely restructuring my workflow based on circadian rhythms and "chronotypes." Instead of organizing tasks by "urgency," I organize them by my body's current state: * **Morning (Peak Cortisol):** Deep work only. My phone is away. * **Early Afternoon (Slump):** Zero deep work. This is when I do emails, low-effort organizing, or take a walk. * **Late Afternoon:** Second wind. Medium-effort tasks. It chan... Spurious — swipe through absurd correlations between completely unrelated statistics (free, iOS)1h agoI built Spurious, an app that lets you swipe through thousands of hilarious correlations between completely unrelated real-world statistics. Things like the number of swimming pool drownings correlating 95% with Nicolas Cage movies released, or US cheese consumption tracking almost perfectly with deaths by bedsheet entanglement. All real data. All completely meaningless. What it does: \- 2,200+ spurious correlations with interactive charts \- Swipe through them like a feed \- Save your favorites, share with friends \- Each one includes a commentary explaining why the correlation exists (spoiler: it doesn't) Why I built it: I'm a data nerd who thi... Barcelona Dissapointing?2h agoI had high hopes when coming here because everyone says they LOVE this city. I've been here for a few weeks and have gone to both touristy locations and non-touristy locations. Every area honestly felt and looked the same to me. it was like every building is the same with the same roads and spaces, same stores(Pharmacy, tourist trap with football merch, an outdoor bar, an indoor bar with a singular slot machine, and a convenience store). Obviously there are other things going on I didn't see, but overall it didn't feel like I could just go out and explore. Like I would have to find a place I wanted to go to on the internet and dedicate a portion of my day just to go there Al... I spent 6 months tracking my "Chronotype" to figure out exactly when I should be working. It completely change...2h agoHey everyone ☕ For the longest time, I thought I just had terrible focus. I would try to force myself to do deep, creative work around 2 PM or 3 PM every day, inevitably stare blankly at my screen, get frustrated, and then drink another coffee that would ultimately ruin my sleep later that night. It wasn't until I started reading up on circadian rhythms and "chronotypes" that I had a massive lightbulb moment: **I was forcing my hardest work during my natural biological valley.** We all have an internal clock that dictates when our cortisol spikes (peak focus) and when it dips (the slump). For example: * 🐻 **Bears** (most of us) peak in the mid-morning, but crash ha...
