Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Anthropologie Latest Community Discussions About AnthropologieWhere to list outside of Poshmark10h agoWhere is a good alternative to sell women's clothing that is more contemporary, other than Poshmark? I'm sick of the new rules, constant punitive sanctions etc on Poshmark. I sell typically new withtags, mostly Madewell and Anthropologie clothing. Recommendations? Mercari has been like no sales for me, neither has Ebay Plus/Midsize SN - Help finding jeans1d agoI’m looking for assistance finding jeans, honestly I’m at the point where I’m considering working with a stylist because I’m almost 36 and I’ve never had a great pair of jeans. For reference I’m 5’4, size 16/18/20 depending on the brand and I suspect I’m a SN. The hang up is that I also have an “apron belly” after having a c-section which has really accentuated my “apple” shape. I’ve made great strides in accepting and loving my body in my 30s, and I’m the healthiest and happiest I’ve been in my adult life. I want my clothes to reflect that too. I’m totally open to using a tailor and investing in a few expensive (to me lol so max $300) pairs. I struggle to... 2026’s Biggest Plus Size Fashion Trends You Can’t Ignore5d agoYou know what stopped me cold the other day. Scrolling past another endless feed of straight-size runway shots. Then bam. A real curve in balloon pants that actually moved with her stride instead of fighting it. Spring 2026 plus size fashion just clicked. Not the usual recycled promises. This time the pieces feel built for bodies that exist beyond sample sizes. Right away the volume hits. Balloon pants lead the charge. They flare out soft yet structured from the thigh down. Think lightweight linen or crisp cotton blends that skim hips without clinging. Pair them with a tucked-in ribbed tank. Suddenly the silhouette balances everything. No more worrying about bunching at the waist after a lo... Shanghai shopping - where to find quirky items6d agoHi guys. I'll be in Shanghai next month for the first time ever. I am hoping to find colourful women's clothing in nice shapes like balloon trousers, cute jackets etc. Along the lines of something you might find in farm rio, anthropologie, free people. Are there any Chinese brands I should be looking at or shopping streets to visit? XXS in vanity sizing only?6d agoI’m 5’2” and 105 lbs. my measurements are 33-27-36… which I’m realizing after being a part of this sub is relatively large lol. Anyway, I came here after some disappointing shopping experiences in “petite” clothing sections—Anthropologie and Express to be exact. I tried on some pants and dresses in XS petite/short and they were giant on me. Now I’m totally confused about what size I should be. With a 27 inch waist I should technically be considered a small, right?? AI takeover8d agoIt’s not even fun to shop on posh anymore. My entire for you page is full of these weird AI posts where you can barely even tell what’s being sold and everything looks weirdly animated. I **** the way people are using AI on Poshmark. It’s impossible to find things I actually want to buy because my feed is full of uncanny-valley slop. If you’re using pictures like these ffs stop. The clothes don’t fit the same in the AI pictures. Sometimes it looks like a totally different item than what’s being actually sold. I’m so over it. This is going to make sales decrease. For the love of god make it stop What % off are you rooting for when your nuuly is filled?8d agoI’m always so curious to see how the items are fulfilled! If it’s 15% then I know it will be newer and in good shape, so a great rental, but unlikely to buy. If it’s 77% off I’m probably guaranteed to have sad worn stretched or shrunk… but if it works… it’s affordable? What do you root for when your clothes are fulfilled? NSV: clothes too big!!11d agoi have done Nuuly (anthropologie’s clothing rental service) for things like weddings and work trips and sometimes i find things i really like but its few and far between. things are usually too small or fit my body weird. i am going on a work trip next week so i got a new order in preparation and its the first time everything has either fit or been too big! guess it’s time to adjust my preferred sizes down! Nervous to be posting, but I'm so interested in this sub's take on my most recent trip. I'm a professional classical musician and I just got back from playing three concerts across Texas. I packed trying to find the balance between function and keeping my neurodivergent, novelty-seeking brain happy. #[Pics here!](https://imgur.com/a/aUbyZPX) One of the biggest challenges in packing for trips like this is that performances have a VERY particular dress code, and are physically demanding enough that I don't *really* like to repeat full outfits—I don't want to repeat tops at all without washing (ew lol) and I don't *really* want to wear any piece two da... My rant about fashion and beauty industry18d agoIt's gonna be long because i love fashion. Why is cheap **** so expensive? Like fr, since when is Zara a high end brand??? Loreal??? You US people are getting SCAMMED at Anthropologie. 110$ for processed oil? No. Things, that were cheap and poor quality once, are now expensive and poor quality. Why would i buy expensive **** makeup when i can buy expensive not **** makeup. Zara used to make plastic clothing. And still makes plastic ****, bit 2x the price. And I live in Europe, here Zara is usually better than in the US. I can overpay for stuff, I have some middle shelf stuff, and some designer. I have mostly nice makeup too. But I don't get why brands like Zara want to up their pri... Did I mess up bringing this dress in for dry cleaning?18d agoNo clue if I’m in the right sub for this so feel free to delete if I’m in the wrong spot, but this was the closest I could find! I got [this dress](https://www.anthropologie.com/shop/bhldn-high-neck-satin-duchess-a-line-midi-dress) secondhand, it was supposedly new with tags, but it did have a small stain in the front and was pretty wrinkled so I decided to take it to a highly rated dry cleaner in my area thinking I’d get it all fixed up before my engagement photos in 2 weeks. They said it would be ready in about a week. However, now I’m hearing horror stories about dresses like this shrinking or getting damaged easily when dry cleaned. I only dropped it off yesterday so maybe I have... Some available pieces!22d agoAfter my last post I had a couple people ask me if I could send them links to clothes I find on ThredUp so I’m following up with some things I found just browsing a bit yesterday and today. They’re not necessarily things I would buy for myself but some things that caught my eye and I think others might be interested in! I had fun and now I don’t feel like shopping anymore haha. I tried to add what I could to my cart because I know things go fast so if you’re interested in anything feel free to add it to your cart when it drops from mine or leave a comment and if I have it I’ll drop it for you. I recommend zooming in for flaws and google image searching everything before buying. H... Sell closet before baby or pause and resume later?24d agoWe are welcoming a baby in the not too distant future, and I'm at a crossroads with my Poshmark closet and wondering what to do? I do well on Poshmark as a hobby seller from my own closet. My average sale price grew from $50 in 2024 to $65 in 2025 and I get sales regularly so long as I'm uploading new items each week or relisting items from my closet. With baby on the way though I find myself unmotivated to lay out clothing, take photos, write descriptions, etc. My closet is 95 available items and I have nearly 100 more items ready to list and sell. Mainly clothing as well as some NIB or NWOB shoes, jewelry, a few purses. Would I be wisest to bulk sell my closet now on something... Last day! adult consignment pop-up30d agoWHERE: Town Center at Cobb Lower level next to H & M Sat 2/28: 10 am to 7pm\* \*(1/2 off most items) What stores are going to continue to have cute plus sizes?34d agoForever 21 is gone. The Torrid near me is cutting their hours (and the quality has gone down hill). Target is getting rid of their plus size area. Dolls Kill and For Love and Lemons unceremoniously just stopped selling their extended sizes without saying a word. Department stores are dying. TJ Maxx’s quality is ***. Layne Bryant has always been ill-fitting and boring. Walmart is location dependent and the quality varies wildly. Old Navy is fiiiiiiiine, I guess (yawn). Anthropologie’s sizing is so inconsistent that I’ve given up ordering from them. Unique Vintage and ModCloth are so far removed from who they used to be that it makes me depressed even going to their websites. Arula frick... easy cool and casual goth for someone without a lot of dark clothes?34d agoI’m going to a stylish friend’s goth party this weekend and I’m determined to deliver a thematic look. I would describe my personal style (and wardrobe) as Anthropologie. I have one black fitted maxi skirt, one long sleeve washed/worn look long sleeve with shoulder cut outs, one mesh/see thru shirt with a red and green floral print across the top, and one semi formal black gown. I have lots of accessories like doc martens on various heights and color and like “youthful” chunky jewelry (Madison Fou Fou, Anthropologie, thrifted). I am really excited to go to the party and be dressed up and want to rock a different style than normal. I have a rule against buying clothes for an event... New Wardrobe!36d agoAfter two months maintaining within a few pounds, I finally made the plunge and got a completely new wardrobe! I'd been getting rid of clothes along the way, and I'd been replacing as I needed — but that was primarily with either cheap option from Costco to tide me over or free options from our local Buy Nothing rotating clothing bins. I wanted to wait until my weight had genuinely steadied before I bought new clothes. Buying new clothes was such an exciting adventure! I had been wanting to go to my favorite resale store for a while to get clothes, but I finally made the plunge when I got the text from them that they were doing 50% off the entire store. I ended up purchasing ove... ISO pro Poshmarker for paid / profit sharing clothing resale38d agoHi— I’m looking for someone that is already a pro at reselling clothes on Poshmark or similar sites to sell a large amount (50-100 items?) of women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories. All of these items are in at least excellent used condition (some NWT) from a smoke-free home with brands ranging from midrange like Vuori, Sezane, and Anthropologie to designer Mansur Gavriel, Marc Jacobs, Ganni etc. When I lived elsewhere I found someone (a college student) who I’d drop off to and she would handle listing, pricing, messaging, and shipping. When something sold she’d send a screenshot of the price and we’d split it 50/50. Does anyone know of a similar person? I’ve had no luck ... Nightmare Customer Service and Billing38d ago**UPDATE**: I filed a dispute with my bank, they agree that Nuuly is not able to charge me for items they say they didn’t receive in 2023. They also put a block on Nuuly’s ability to charge my card in the future, so FYI this is a thing that can be done if needed. **\*in the mean time\*** I ordered clothes from Anthro, one of the items was a Nuuly resale which was shipped by Nuuly. The item from Nuuly was marked as delivered but was not delivered. Anthropologie directed me to Nuuly for help locating the package. Nuuly said not our problem file a police report. I guarantee I would have regretted that $25 sweater so it’s probably a net win, but WOW Nuuly, way to be. Posted in another t...
