Article of clothing brand you own that has lasted a decade or more without obvious signs of wear?

2h ago

Do you have a favorite article of clothing that has gone through the wash many times, yet still looks great? I just realized one of my go-to sweatshirts purchased from the Banana Republic Factory store a decade ago still looks fantastic with no pilling or holes. Conversely, a sweater from Anthropologie of the same age, but costed more, has pilling and is now getting holes. I'd like to hear everyone else's experience with brands that held up vs deteriorated. Thanks.

Suggest a Vacation Bag for Me!

2d ago

I’m going on vacation to a beach/tropical location. I have chosen clothing in bright green, red, olive, black and orange. Think Farm Rio! Most of my dresses and outfits have a ‘casual cocktail party on the beach’ vibe. I’m looking for sculptural, beaded, rubber or unconventional bags too though leather works. I love brands like coach, bottega veneta , staud, jacquemus, Anthropologie, Louis Vuitton(I love vintage Epi leather). I’m trying to stick under $1,000 each bag. What do you suggest I pick up, new or used? Let’s have fun with it! Please post pics 💕

Work uniform: Spring edition

3d ago

I’ve always been a little unhappy with my work outfits. I can get lazy or not have enough time to pick out something I really like in the morning and default to jeans and whatever top. Most of the clothes I wear have visual interest but the overall look can be too boring for me. So I’ve been trying to add more skirts to my wardrobe. A skirt with VI, plus tights and maybe socks feels much more pleasing to my eye than just pants and I feel like it’s a good default work look. But it’s really hard to find right above the knee skirts that are work appropriate and interesting! I’ve been buying old Anthropologie off Poshmark because I can’t find anything else. I was happy with today...

Where do I shop / how do I achieve this style as a plus size woman? (US Size 16)

9d ago

My Pinterest boards always end up going in this same direction, but I keep running into the same issue: I can only find pieces like this in plus sizes from places like Shein or other low-quality brands who do knock off versions. I’m looking for thicker fabrics that drape well but still hold structure for plus size people. I’ve found one dress in this style from Anthropologie that fits me beautifully and feels high quality, but everywhere else either doesn’t carry my size or only offers cheaper, poorly made versions. Anyone have leads for quality effortlessly chic clothes for plus size women?

Best plus-size clothing brands in 2026: which brands are actually worth it?

9d ago

I keep seeing a few names come up in recent 2026 plus-size fashion coverage, especially **Universal Standard, Eloquii, Anthropologie, Reformation, and Quince**. Some of the editorial roundups are also calling out smaller or more fashion forward names, which makes me think this is a good time to compare notes instead of just relying on retailer photos. So let’s make this useful. If you’ve bought from any plus-size brand recently, drop your review below with: Brand name What you bought Your usual size and the size you ordered How the fit was Whether the quality matched the price Whether you would buy again I’d especially love reviews on brands that are good for: workwear ...

11d ago

Hi Williamsburg pet parents!  I was planning to adopt dogs this year and have been hoarding supplies for awhile, but my plans have changed as my ex and I broke up so I am moving out of our place to a small studio that doesn’t allow dogs, so I’m selling everything I had prepared (plenty of designer pet brands). Most items are for dogs, but many can also be used for cats—such as pet travel items (carriers, purses), clothing, accessories, and grooming supplies. Please refer to size measurements for the best fit.  Over 100 Brand New ...

Thinking about going to Recletic -Need Help

11d ago

Hey ya’ll! I live in Central Tx and would like to go to Reclectic the discount store that has Free People, Urban outfitters, and Anthropologie clothing. I read their reviews and some other Reddit posts on the other locations and there was only one comment for the Arlington location. I want to buy some looser fitting clothing due to pregnancy and I thought I’d ask local people before I made the drive since it’s 3 hrs away from me. Is it worth going to? Have you gone there before? Or recently? Do they really only prioritize resellers? Are the prices worth it?

Capsule wardrobe for 10 days in Singapore and experiences at Raffles + Mandarin Oriental

13d ago

I thought I might share a fresh take for the women readers here planning a stay at Raffles, MO, and other 5-star SEA hotels. This post is: *How to uplevel your Mexico/Caribbean resortwear game for Southeast Asia and look effortlessly elegant while actively sweating*. This post is for gals who are first-time travelers to SG, perhaps not natural fashionistas, prioritize comfort but also confidence, and are planning experiences centered on the hotels (and a few outside). I’ll also weave a little bit of hotel review into my packing list guide. I’m late 30s and often a solo traveler, and note *there are no affiliate links* for the garments listed here. **How I planned, shopped, and packed:...

Clothing Advice

15d ago

Ok hi! I am 24, work in education, and STRUGGLE to buy clothes I like/find clothes that fit my budget. If you were 24, on a strict budget (helloooo teacher salary), and wanted to look cute and trendy, where would you begin? I feel like my clothes are not fashionable, look cheap (sometimes), and I want to feel more confident and comfortable. My vibe is very Anthropologie, Monkees, Free People! I’ve looked into NUULY, but I can’t see the pros for my budget.

Eccentric Wedding clothing?

16d ago

My bestie is getting married and we're here shopping for a colorful and eclectic wedding outfit, a jumper or a dress. It doesn't have to be super formal but have some pizazz. We tried Anthropologie and Free People and I haven't lived here in so long I don't know where too look anymore. Any ideas? Thanks so much! Finally on HRT 😭

16d ago

Oh My Goood!! This is really hard to believe 😭 I did it!! I finally let her out 🥺🥺 For a long time I've been convincing myself that it wasn't yet the right time to start HRT because I am in school, writing my PhD dissertation. But I couldn't handle it anymore. I had to let her out because she's been in the dark for too long. And so yesterday, I finally went to the pharmacy and picked up my 1st estrogen bottle (lowest dose typically administered for HRT). I understand now why all my sisters in this community are fighting for gender affirming care and rights. Because I finally am able to look at the mirror and I actually see her 😭 😭 😭 Somehow I do...

Only luxury jewelry or cheaper stuff too?

18d ago

Hi guys I’m new here but more of a regular for handbags reps from trusted sellers. After seeing some people buy furniture replicas (pottery barn, Anthropologie, west elm) off of AliB/E, as well as clothing reps, I’m wondering if anyone has come across gold plated mid tier “mall jewelry” distributors? I love Anthropologie necklaces but at $60 a pop feel like I’m getting ripped off.

Where to list outside of Poshmark

20d ago

Where is a good alternative to sell women's clothing that is more contemporary, other than Poshmark? I'm sick of the new rules, constant punitive sanctions etc on Poshmark. I sell typically new withtags, mostly Madewell and Anthropologie clothing. Recommendations? Mercari has been like no sales for me, neither has Ebay

Plus/Midsize SN - Help finding jeans

22d ago

I’m looking for assistance finding jeans, honestly I’m at the point where I’m considering working with a stylist because I’m almost 36 and I’ve never had a great pair of jeans. For reference I’m 5’4, size 16/18/20 depending on the brand and I suspect I’m a SN. The hang up is that I also have an “apron belly” after having a c-section which has really accentuated my “apple” shape. I’ve made great strides in accepting and loving my body in my 30s, and I’m the healthiest and happiest I’ve been in my adult life. I want my clothes to reflect that too. I’m totally open to using a tailor and investing in a few expensive (to me lol so max $300) pairs. I struggle to...

2026’s Biggest Plus Size Fashion Trends You Can’t Ignore

25d ago

You know what stopped me cold the other day. Scrolling past another endless feed of straight-size runway shots. Then bam. A real curve in balloon pants that actually moved with her stride instead of fighting it. Spring 2026 plus size fashion just clicked. Not the usual recycled promises. This time the pieces feel built for bodies that exist beyond sample sizes. Right away the volume hits. Balloon pants lead the charge. They flare out soft yet structured from the thigh down. Think lightweight linen or crisp cotton blends that skim hips without clinging. Pair them with a tucked-in ribbed tank. Suddenly the silhouette balances everything. No more worrying about bunching at the waist after a lo...
