I'm totally exhausted by the amount of things that need our phone number. I go to a restaurant and they want me to scan a QR code and input a phone number to put myself into the queue - fine, this one is helpful. However, I go to a take-out/coffee/boba shop and use the self-order kiosk and they ask for a phone number. WHY? Just give me a ticket number and call out the ticket number. Basically the high staked stool out of the ADB. The construction lumber here is doug fir, not Schwarz's beloved SYP. I'm a little burnt out on doug fir from some other projects. So I went with the poplar and oak I had. Compared to the 2" by stock used in the ADB, this one is a bit of a chonk. My eye isn't very refined, so I can't really tell how ugly the proportions I ended with are. It's destined to live in my shop as a bench perch, so overbuilt seems suitable to me. I picked up a 70's era Craftsman lathe, at the construction reuse store. ($40, with tools and I have had to buy nothing else!) The stretchers are the first things I've ever turned, asi...

Hi all! As many here are I am looking to upgrade my current vacuum setup. I have a Dyson v12 cordless and I have a eufy x10 Omni robovac that runs every day. We are moving to a house with significantly more space (1400sqft) and with carpet which I’ve never had, so I am looking for a good canister vac recommendation. I’ll keep the Dyson for quick pickups and whatnot but want a corded vac for the real cleaning.
