Totaled - Who Pays for What?

14m ago

Edit to add: pics of damage in comments. Involved in an accident on 11/25. Other driver turned into me and glanced down the side of truck. Minimal damage; however it is in a more difficult area to repair between the cab and bed. Other party is insured by Geico & they admitted fault. I chose to just file thru my insurance company (Farm Bureau) so they could handle everything between the 2 of them. Body shop was booked out on estimates until last week, it's been fully drivable in the meantime. I dropped it off at the body shop for estimates and received a call Friday from my insurance that it is totaled. For reference: 2011 Tundra CrewMax 4x4, 80k miles, absolutely spotless condi...

"Go everywhere, do everything" approach to 99.99%'ing MM6 in *45* in-game days

14m ago

This is a follow up to [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/MightAndMagic/comments/1pu5j52/go_everywhere_do_everything_approach_to_9999ing/) that I made a couple of weeks ago. I may or may not have a slightly obsessive personality, because I couldn't stop thinking that I left some meat on the bone in that last run. Specifically I thought the early part of the game could be tidied up.. .. so I did what any sane person would do, and made a list in my notes app with 100+ steps to maximise the early game. And lo and behold, here I am, 50.000 points and 5 in-game days richer than last time.. .. and already thinking of a few ways on how to min-max even more.. https://preview.redd.it/5wn...

First time Persona player here. I'm LOVING 3 Reload.

Good lads and lassies, I'll have no negatives pointed out to me, please, I've never played any other version so this is the game for me. If it's a fair bit changed from P3/P3FES/P3 Portable, I don't need to know about what has been negatively changed, and that's fine, I'll go back to see after I complete the series having just gotten 3, 4.. I imagine the Expansion Pass with Episode Aigis is almost a no question, but I'll wait for that to be $9.99¹ again. I got to the 3rd castle in P5R when I played my Xbox One (still should probably, there's like a 175 game back log there), but got stuck and couldn't get out even with guides, so I gave up on it...

Grocery Shopping in Turks & Caicos Is a Shock (Unless You Plan Ahead)

21m ago

Groceries in Turks & Caicos surprise almost everyone — especially travelers staying in villas, Airbnbs, or condos. Because nearly everything is imported, food prices are significantly higher than in the U.S. or Canada. Common first-time surprises: * Basic items like milk, cereal, and snacks cost double or more * Convenience stores charge extreme markups * Smaller stores may have limited selection The main grocery option on Providenciales is **Graceway**, but strategy matters: * Shop early in your trip before shelves are picked over * Avoid daily grocery runs (transport costs add up) * Plan simple breakfasts and lunches instead of full cooking Another mistake is assuming groce...

Fiestaware shops

I live out west & likely won’t make ever travel to eastern OH or WV to hit a tent sale. Are there some stores more in the Midwest-West that have some decent volume of product? Near me are mostly antique shops that don’t have much variety. Thanks for any input!

So the Acme in Parma closed and we’re just not going to talk about it?

28m ago

This is terrible. It was a great store, clean, decent prices, workers seemed happy. What a loss. I’m worried for what will take its place. Plane Fitness is an absolute cancer on the plaza. Meijer ***** with their prices and fake “We care.” I went and felt judged. Giant Eagle ***** with its awful prices and pervasive “screw you what are you gonna do shop at acme?” attitude that every store just drips. Aldi’s fine except it’s never going to have the selection. I’m really bummed. Is anyone else? Can we do anything to bring it back?

Stumbled upon this randomly - is it a good deal? 2ah, 5ah, and 6ah flex + charger for $199 at HD

A Horse in Walmart

31m ago

I made it into a short story to add readability and detail. The Walmart was bigger than any store had a right to be, the clothing section stretching out like a dim, endless warehouse. Racks and shelves formed narrow corridors that turned back on themselves, a maze of polyester and fluorescent hum. Almost no one else was there. My footsteps sounded too loud on the polished floor. I wandered deeper, past folded jeans and hanging dresses, until I reached the tallest shelves—seven or eight feet high, packed solid with shoeboxes and clearance sweaters. I tipped my head back to scan the top row, and that’s when I saw it. A horse head, protruding over the edge. It wasn’t a real horse. Not...

I tried on every (women’s) Jean cut at Levi’s to see what different cuts look like on my Dramatic body

35m ago

Hi all, I decided to try on every women’s option at Levi’s to try to get a sense of what actually looks good on me (pants shopping is the bane of my existence, and I have gained weight recently which has not made it easier :) ). Anyway, mostly this is to share with everyone what they look like on our shared kibbe type … but I am still learning how to discern this kind of thing so any opinions/analysis anyone has about what looks flattering on me (or not) would be welcomed! There’s also some express pants at the end. Levi’s/denim: my size is 31x32 - in a few I had to go up or down based on what’s in store. Especially on inseam. So a few of the ones that are too short are bec...

Iceland grocery stores explained (so you don’t overspend)

36m ago

Food costs in Iceland shock almost every first-time visitor — but most overspending happens simply because travelers don’t understand the grocery landscape. Not all stores are priced equally, and many tourists default to the most expensive options. Here’s what most people don’t realize: * Grocery stores are **not evenly distributed**, especially outside Reykjavik * Some towns may only have **one option**, so planning ahead matters * Convenience stores like 10-11 are priced for emergencies, not meal planning Here’s the real breakdown: * **BÓNUS**: Cheapest, limited brands, very local * **Krónan**: Slightly more expensive but wider selection * **10-11**: Convenience store pri...

Taipei/Taiwan Recommendations

37m ago

I'm planning a visit to Taiwan in March, about a week in Taipei and then a few days that are open to traveling other places. Any recommendations on shops/stores/places that are a must see there? Or specific teas I should be looking for (I love Taiwanese oolongs, also big on puerhs and early greens but have mostly gotten Chinese for those)?

CA – Mechanic stalled engine rebuild for over two years, damaged engine block, parts missing

41m ago

Hello, I’m seeking legal advice on how to handle an ongoing dispute with a mechanic over a stalled engine rebuild. In August 2023, I dropped off my 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 for diagnosis of engine vibrations. The mechanic provided a written quote of $9,000 for a full engine teardown and rebuild, and I paid $6,000 upfront. Over the following months, very little work was completed. The engine remained partially disassembled for an extended period, and the vehicle was stored outdoors. The engine components were not sent to a machine shop until around March 2024. During a later relocation of the shop, several engine parts reportedly went missing. Additionally, the mechanic resurfaced and honed...

Built a dApp to spend stablecoins on Amazon, Domino's, NIke etc, with no KYC and no fees and Name it 0Fiat

44m ago

I have built a dApp to directly spend Stablecoins on Multiple Shopping and food websites With a discount added on top of the transaction on many sites, So if a product is of $100 you just have to pay 97 USDC without spending anything on fees. Also adding new stores and sites on daily basis **Named it 0Fiat and it is already live** Now the problem is how to scale it looking for Suggestion and feedbacks.

Am I Reading Between the Messages?

I (21M) am moving to a new city for an internship with a large company. By complete chance, an online fandom friend (20F) happens to live in the same city. We’ve always had a fun, easy friendship online, so when I found out I’d be relocating at the start of the new year, I mentioned it to her. I asked if she knew any good comic book shops in the area, and she recommended one. Me: Do you know any good comic book stores in your city? I just found out I’ll be interning there and would love any recommendations. Her: Hmm, I’ve heard of a comic book cafe that’s supposed to be really good! Haven’t gone yet myself. And congrats on the internship that’s super exciting! Me: Awesome, ...
