Would prefer buying locally instead of only online if I can get it in cheaper as compared to online price. I appreciate this is an emotive subject but I thought I would offer up some evidence. For the record I am mostly pro charge but my wife works in retail in the city centre and we were discussing this today. The affect of the congestion charge vs. the same period last year is: * Reduced footfall * 50% reduction in revenue * Store going from top 3 performer to bottom 2 performer nationally As a result the shop has reduced staffing hours in the weeks that are supposed to be the busiest time of the year.
