Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Aldi Store Latest Community Store DiscussionsFreelancing Guide for Beginners 🚀1h ago Most beginners think freelancing starts with “finding clients.” Wrong. It starts with becoming someone clients can trust. Step 1 — Pick ONE Service Don’t say: \* “I do everything” Say: \* Logo Design \* WordPress Website \* Video Editing \* Social Media Posts \* Shopify Store Setup \* SEO \* Thumbnail Design Specific freelancers get hired faster. \--- \## Step 2 — Build 3 Sample Works No clients yet? Make fake/demo projects. Example: \* Design a coffee shop logo \* Build a fake business website \* Edit a cinematic reel \* Create Instagram posts for a gym Clients buy what they SEE. \--- \## Step 3 — Make a Portfolio You don’t need... Would a screen like this be useful for your small 3PL1h agoI run a small 3PL — 7 Shopify clients, 20–100 orders/day, ship through Canada Post. Every morning is the same dance: open each client's Shopify admin in its own Chrome profile, find orders, switch over to print the label, paste tracking back into the right Shopify, mark fulfilled, repeat. Around 14 clicks per order. Marked the wrong client's order fulfilled twice in one week. Big WMS platforms (ShipHero, Extensiv) want $500+/month which doesn't math at our volume, and nothing in our budget really solves the multi-Shopify-admin part. I've been thinking about building a desktop app that looks something like this: https://preview.redd.it/gdujj2ronm0h1.png?width=1448&a... Just joined the Mobapad club!1h agoHey everyone, I bought my Mobapad last week. Today, I checked the page for the shipping estimate and noticed the price has gone up $10, it’s now $100 total. It looks like demand is really high right now, and they’re busy fixing things and adding new features to their joycons. Can’t wait to try it out soon! If you’ve been thinking about getting one, this might be a good time before the price climbs more 😂 Aldi Mirrabooka, has anyone else experienced this?1h agoHas anyone been to Aldi at mirrabooka and had their bags touched by the staff? This seems to be happening more lately when they ask if they can check my bags and before I have a chance to respond yes, they’re handling all my shopping bags and opening them all, this is illegal right? God I **** shopping there 😭 Keep in mind, it’s only this particular Aldi where some of them feel they have the right to touch peoples stuff Why do we have so many liquor stores?1h agoSo obviously people drink here quite a bit, and that's not really my question. I saw a billboard that a new liquor store opened up, and I've noticed that we have a ton of liquor stores. Besides the classics like the bottle shop and ABC, and some smaller ones, how do all these stay afloat? Like I'll notice newer ones pop up in places that are sort of out of the way, and the times that I visited these places they're completely empty. Every time I've been to the bottle shops I mentioned, there's other people, but some of these are always completely empty. How do they stay afloat? This also goes for vape shops but that's a whole different problem. What founders can learn from District's $14.7M raise1h ago3 Snapchat alumni just raised $14.7 million to bring corner stores online. District's seed round is backed by a16z, and aims to help independent sellers build community-driven marketplaces. Their platform uses AI to replicate the personal experience of shopping at a local store, online. This shift to community-driven marketplaces could be the future of e-commerce, where sellers build direct relationships with customers, and Venture Capitalists may no longer hold the reins. What would you do differently if you had to start in a niche? DM us I built an iOS app that scans food labels and scores ingredients based on YOUR health profile1h agoHey everyone, I've been working on this for a while and finally shipped it. Wanted to share with this community. THE PROBLEM I have a family member with diabetes and food allergies. Every time we go grocery shopping, we spend 10 minutes reading ingredient labels trying to spot hidden sugars, seed oils, and allergens. It's exhausting and easy to miss things. Most food scanner apps give you a generic score that means nothing if you have specific dietary needs. A product that's "great" for someone else might be terrible for you. WHAT I BUILT Nutrition Facts AI — an iPhone app that scans any food label and scores it 0-100 based specifi... Phone cases exactly like this ?2h agoi wanted this case cus its got a cute chunky look to it, but they have every generation or iphone except for iphone 13 pro. anything similar on amazon with that chunky look? ( reupload bc i accidentally had my location in the last ones) What do you wish more clothing websites did better?2h agoWhat are the biggest problems you’ve had with online fashion stores? Especially for alternative/Jirai/Y2K style shops. What made the experience bad, disappointing, or annoying? And what do you wish more stores did better? Things like: * shipping times * inaccurate sizing * poor product photos * quality not matching expectations * difficult returns/refunds * lack of communication * expensive shipping * hidden fees * websites feeling sketchy * customer support issues Also curious what makes a store stand out in a good way and actually makes you want to order again. Little Dragoness and Beauty Yellow watched in silence as Luban walked toward the gatehouse while explaining things to Cowboy. Finding his words concise and to the point, they waited quietly. After returning from the gatehouse, Luban said, "Let's go to the top of the back mountain and look at the whole courtyard from the... Don’t take no for an answer2h agoI’ve posted a couple of comments about if you don’t get your points during either an insider challenge or purchase, to reach out to chat in the Sephora App. They usually automatically connect you to Ai chat but just type representative to talk to someone. Usually I have a quick and easy experience. I was supposed to get 4x points for a fragrance purchase in store on Mother’s Day, did not keep the receipt. When I only received base points I reached out to chat. The first rep was not accommodating and even said without a receipt they can not add the points OR escalate the chat which is ridiculous. I asked twice and then was connected with supervisor who added the points immediately with... Kids clothes2h agoUS online Stores\* Looking for online stores to shop for kids clothes. Thanks Should I buy this second hand Rebel T7?2h agoI'd like to get into amateur photography and have been browsing second hand shops as where I live DSLRs are terribly expansive, and I came across a Rebel T7 for $91 and the seller claims it's not shooting pictures because and showing error 4 (i did my research and apparently it's an SD card issue, such as full storage that need to be either swapped or unload the data) but they also say there's a sensor error which I don't know how costly it could be if true. As $91 is so cheap for this model I'm considering buying it to see for myself if it's as easy as it looks (thinking maybe the sensor is alright and the SD card is the issue), even if the sale post seem... Any stores take back old fluorescent tube bulbs?2h agoPardon the **** question. I'm slowly learning the intricacies of Japanese recycling. I've been replacing my fluorescent lights with LEDs and now I have a small collection of tubes to discard. I gather they're considered hazardous, so should be managed in a special way. I have a vague memory of visiting a large box store that had a fluorescent disposal receptacle outside it. But for the life of me, I can't recall which shop this was. Does anyone know a store that provides this service? Thanks! Why am I not seeing much hype for ALD1 now that they’ve debuted?2h agoSomething I’ve noticed just personally is I haven’t really seen as much talk about ALD1 as I thought there would be. I heard ALD1 is very popular in China/Japan/Korea so it could just be a demographic issue because I don’t live there but I really thought I’d be hearing more about ALD1. I live in the West, is ALD1 just not that popular outside of Eastern Asia? If you compare their monthly Spotify listeners (540k) to other 5th generation boy groups that also debuted recently, they seem to be lagging behind. CORTIS has 10.5 million (I know they’re an outlier but bear with me) and even LNGSHOT has 5 million. They seem to be doing pretty well on YouTube though, FREAK ALARM has 63 mi... Are these "safe"?2h agoI am very conscious of the environment. I do not like pesticide treated lawns or herbicides. I am very low tox. I bought these thinking that doing a clover lawn would be good for pollinators and birds and whatnot. I remember googling nitrocoated and inoculated before purchasing. Everything seemed fine. The marketing looks like good and safe but now I am panicking. I put it down on my whole front lawn. I walked in my house without much thought to be honest, didn't even take off my shoes. Is this not safe after all? Looking it up now it seems otherwise. If you could create your own map, what would it look like?2h agoTaking a quick break from the discussions about the update (many different valid views amongst the community) if you could create a map of your own, what would you create? I’d create one in an old, abandoned shopping Mall. Something similar to the high school but with different abandoned stores instead of classrooms Do any of you use a power plane to level/flatten your boards?2h agoI saw a video of a guy who made a sled and table for a power plane and he was able to flatten a large cutting board in under a minute…. made me curious. if so what brands are good and what are ****. there’s a vast difference in price from $38 to $300. and how hard is it to find the hardware to build your own sled?
