We went into town today to get some things we missed and stopped at the north Walmart in the shopping mall. After doing the currency conversions there wasn't much difference in pricing compared to Canada and I think a 2 L of Coke was more expensive. We also stopped at the sushi place in the mall and it was more expensive than the same meal would be back home. All of the shoe stores we looked at were also crazy expensive. Is that still considered in the tourist zone? Most of the customers were Spanish speaking and appeared to be local but from what I've learned of the average monthly salaries no one but the rich would shop there.

Today I got a scam alert from my credit card from instacart. I haven't used instacart in some time due to the extremely poor customer service and being overcharged for items. My last shop there was over $100 discrepancy. I have receipts including the instacart invoice with the services listed and over 100$ was taken and never returned or accounted for. Never again. Straight theft. The food brought to me rotten or produce not bagged amd then when "refunded" not refunded for the entire amount of the product. Not worth the "service". I mainly shop at stores like Banana Republic, Ralph Lauren, Abercrombie, J Crew, Forever 21 It seems to be nearly impossible for me to find a jacket that doesn’t just barely cover my belt.
