I've been working in Deli, Bakery, Starbucks, Floral (wherever the director needs me), but recently my store started "drive up and go" and I was placed in that department too. This is where I have to struggle to find items for people who cannot (or will not) shop in the store themselves. Somehow, this makes me look like an expert to the customers and on my FIRST DAY, I get attitude from a customer for not knowing where pre-seasoned frozen wings are. Why are customers like this??? Why couldn't she leave me alone?? Especially after I told her I have no idea where they are and tried directing her to someone else 😭

Hi everyone, I am 18 months post op. Started this whole journey at 536 pounds and now am 315. I am very proud of my success, still actually losing but it's just very slow at this point. At my first consultation, my surgeon advised that in order to achieve my goal weight I would more than likely need to follow the sleeve surgery with a SADI revision. I was shopping at my local thrift store and my jaw hit the floor when I saw this, especially at that price point. Some of the buttons were pulled forward quite a bit, but after some tinkering, I fixed it and the player worked perfectly. Went to Aldi with cash and a list. Used my calculator in the aisles to stay within budget. At check out several of the items scanned higher than the price tag. When I mentioned the difference a worker went and removed the price tags from the shelf instead of honoring the price I saw. Looks like they raised prices 15% that day on a few foods but didn’t update the physical tag. This happens at almost every grocery store I go to. I curious where everyone is getting their fabric. I wish I was active in the hobby when Joans was still kicking. For context - I live in the Austin TX metropolitan area. There are fabric stores, but some are way out of the way and have odd hrs. It's also hard to know which Micheals sells fabrics and which doesn't (apparently not all of them do) I can't say that im a fan of their selection either. With that out of the way, I see people shop online and find some sick fabric. I personally like the hippie, earthy boho style and want to find more natural fibers. Yesterday I got a call during an active shop & deliver from “DoorDash support” claiming that a customer from earlier in the day said that I had marked an order as delivered, but drove off with the order, which was insane to think about. The support guy then tells me that because of this, the total amount of that order would be subtracted from my pay. I’m taking two hamsters from a friend, the enclosure that they’re in isn’t the best it’s one of the smaller enclosures. I’m an employee. I had a customer today who opened an encore card last week. She came in today and made a purchase with her card and wanted an additional discount of 20% along with the cardholder discount of 50%. I explained there was no other 20% discount for using the card. She said she used the card 3 other times since opening it and was given a 20% discount because it was the first 14 days and that is what the employee who opened her card told her as well as the other employees who had since rang her up.
