I had my 14” M4 Pro MacBook Pro for a year and 3 months. I used it a lot for gaming during that time. Sometimes the fans were quite noticeable, sometimes they weren’t. Recently I shut down the laptop (properly) and the next day it wouldn’t start. I was told that there is a RAM issue. Where I am at the moment there isn’t any Apple Store nor any authorised repair shop. My plan is to have a proper troubleshooting done when I’m back home. I’m just wondering, whether the heat generated caused the main board or RAM to fail.

I just had new summer tires installed. My last wheel alignment was 15-20000 km ago. By looking at the initial angles i am not convinced an alignment was necessary(they charged me an extra $160 for the alignment). The shop(large chain store) insisted that they had to do the alignment because of the front toe angles. Can someone please tell me if it was reasonable that they did the alignment? Looking at the before and after numbers, i’m not sure they actually improved anything. Thank you!

Went to Foodmaxx today to get some snacks (yes I know its not healthy, not the point). Their ad clearly says Doritos/Cheetos are $2.29 when you buy 4 including the sign in the store. When I got to the car and checked the receipt I was charged the full price overpaying $15. Additionally soda 12 packs are $4.98 when you buy 4 limit 8. I got 8 and for some reason one of them was charged at $21 instead of the $10 so the $6 discount that was added still had me overpaying another $15.
