Hey, I just moved from Minneapolis two months ago and have been looking for any resources around sewing, clothing repair and fabric mending. I’m hoping to mainly get into repair and mending. I saw in an earlier post that http://stitchesbyhugo.org is a great place to take sewing classes. I had my spots in Minneapolis for fabric and local stores that offered sewing supplies. Hi all, I purchased my RetroTINK-2X Pro several years ago and absolutely loved using it. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to use it for about a year. The micro-USB power port partially broke off the board and needs to be soldered back on (pictured). I don’t have any soldering experience and understand this isn’t really a beginner-level repair, so I’m worried I might permanently damage the device if I attempt it myself. I've been so on the fence about putting flowers in my yard, because I remember mine and my moms trips *every single spring* to the garden store, buying the prettiest flowers and planting them all throughout the flower bed, only for them to die over time. I have seen the Acer 514 model CB514-6H at £249 Originally I was looking at Lenovo 14 12gb ram with faster 256gb storage but feel I dont need that size of spec at £599. I want it to last a good 5 years the only downsides I see to my usage are non backlight keyboard (i will put on my lamp) and the storage being eMMC but if I store on cloud im not sure how affected it will be as years go on. He came out of his car and gave me his insurance information. I filed a claim with his insurance company right away. I know 5’9 isn’t crazy tall, but it’s taller than the average height of both men and women in Japan. I’m interested in buying some jeans (US size 28) at the Levi store in Kyoto and maybe some shoes (US size 7) when I’m in Tokyo, but otherwise I have no specific items in mind. We plan to spend a whole day in Tokyo just shopping. Will I be be able to buy clothing in my size in Japan? Or will I need to visit stores intended for taller people?
