Hey everyone! New lurker, and first time poster. I wanted to ask everyone’s opinion, my wife is a Landscape designer and is looking to upgrade her current Asus laptop that she does designs / 3D renderings on - she has a 4K budget for the PC + accessories. She’s not much of a gamer, but does play sims once and awhile lol. However the rendering software’s have a heavy demand. We went to CC a couple days ago and the rep recommended the PC in the photo - what is everyone’s opinion on the rec and does anyone have any recommendations/opinions of their own? Hello optical professionals, I have a question for those who know better than me in regard to a specific request my work has received. Context: I work at a lapidary/jeweler shop, and got a request for custom .925 hand fabricated frames, with Smokey quartz lenses. These sunglasses are cosmetic. The lenses have been made in house using a faceting machine. Obviously, since we are a rock shop we don’t have the specialized equipment to make real lenses, these are for fun. Anyone else in the western suburbs of Chicagoland having trouble finding the Panini 2026 World Cup stickers in stores? I’ve checked Target, Walmart, Walgreens, etc. and haven’t found a single pack. I was able to find the Qatar 2022 and Club World Cup stickers/cards pretty easily at these same stores. A Walgreens employee told me they sold out Wednesday morning, then got another shipment Friday that also sold out early in the day.
