Yesterday was a very special day for our family thanks to the incredible folks at Fenoglio Boot Company in Nocona. Becky Fenoglio at the factory store arranged something truly memorable for us. My (hopefully soon-to-be) daughter-in-law Josey, who is from Tennessee, was celebrating her 21st birthday, and Becky helped set up a personal tour of the Fenoglio plant so she could see how real Texas boots are made. Was lucky enough to stumble on three Barbie’s on my thrift store crawl today. I ended up buying this one for $25.00. There were two others, one being a Holiday edition Barbie from 2006 and “Autumn Glory” Barbie. I only limited myself to buying one because I happen to be going to a Barbie convention tomorrow and want to save my $$$ to see what I find there! If you need everyday solid-colored T-shirts, visit Old Navy. I find that they tend to have neat sales on these shirts and these shirts can be a part of your spring capsule wardrobe. my only local metaphysical shop is closing permanently after 10+ years. i am grieving and i blame myself a bit. i frequented the store still but i have been buying from other places online too. another crystal store opened recently nearby but they are not a metaphysical shop. they have no one on staff that really knows their stuff, i saw one of the crystal store owners using AI to identify specimens. one of the metaphysical shop owners said that the competition in such a small area has affected them too much. i will dearly miss them and the environment itself. that store was one of my favorite safe spaces. majority of my supplies and all of my firsts came from that shop. i made real friends ...
