I ordered a beatnik as my first fixed gear bike but after watching some videos im worried its not as good. I heard that the metal is bad and its too heavy. And am wondering if I should call the bike shop and try to cancel the order and look for something else. I think there is a store that sells a fuji feather maybe thats better. I tend to have pretty major buyers remorse so im wondering if im just iver thinking it maybe it doesn't matter if a bike is 25lbs or something on the other hand il like some opinions. Looking for some old photos of the Salem street promenade ( former mule and supply then pike Chevrolet), the Hinton hardware building (when it was an actual appliance and hardware store), the (incorrectly labeled) mule and supply building (former Jackson tobacco warehouse and hardware storage+ gleem paint store?), the old town hall, and finally, the little stucco shopping strip (former ford dealership then lawnmower shop?
