Despite my efforts to appear non-threatening, I am consistently treated as a potential criminal by security guards whenever I enter a store. I am often followed closely, watched intensely, and on several occasions have been accused of theft despite not touching any items. My dad owns a watch repair and service store in Makati. He is a former Seiko and Omega watch repair expert who decided to make use of his experience in building his own watch repair shop from the ground up. 35 years in the business, he finally allowed me to manage a social media page for his shop.
