Workout clothes for not jacked people?

3h ago

Trying to start working out and been trying to shop for workout clothes. I noticed most workout clothes I see in stores are designed for people who are already jacked, and thus I look quite like an asparagus wearing the usual short sleeve t shirt and shorts. Are there any brands that aims to fit a more skinny and tall frame?

The Craving in the wild

3h ago

I was out grocery shopping earlier, and while I was in the store The Craving (Jenna's Version) started playing over the radio, and I was suddenly struggling not to cry in the middle of the baking aisle lol. 😭💖 Have you ever been caught off guard by a tøp song in the wild?

Good Deal? Currently don’t own any Milwaukee tools

3h ago

I’m wondering if this would be a good buy. I currently am trying to transition to Milwaukee and don’t have anything on the platform yet. Would this be a good start? Excuse my ignorance but from what I gathered, the fuel stuff is the way to go. That high output 6ah battery is free with the purchase

Oil over fill? 2022 f550 7.3 gasoline

3h ago

2022 Ford f-550 with a 7.3 gasoline engine... Just had an oil change done at an independent shop. Drove about 2 miles from the shop and noticed the truck felt sluggish. Made it home, parked for 3 or so hours then went back out. Backed out of driveway, and then put into drive, immediately while rolling downhill with my foot completely off the gas, the engine suddenly revved to around 2,500 RPM on its own and kind of stayed there for a couple seconds. Never witnessed this behavior in the entire time I've owned the truck including a 700 mile highway drive over 2 days with cold starts inbetween home after purchase. During the 5 min drive to the store the truck seemed to rev on its own whil...

Collection is now sleeved

3h ago

tl;dr people said to sleeve my cards, so I did I posted last night asking if I should be storing my cards differently, and the answer was a unanimous “Yes, sleeve your cards!”. So, today, I went to the card shop and picked up some dragon shield perfect-fits and sleeved my cards. In the process of going through the collection I found some cards that I had missed in the original post too. Not sure how well it comes through in the photos but, they’re all sleeved now.

Ex Gratia money given to a HS - Normal / Not Normal

3h ago

We usually leave a gift card for a restaurant or similar, maybe a grocery store or a wine shop, to our house sitters if the stay is a couple of weeks or more. The amount we pick is in the range of $100 - $150 / week. We don't personally know anyone else who uses THS, so the question arises: is it normal for hosts to leave a kind of gratuity for a sitter?

First shopping order...

4h ago

I accepted a shopping order for the first time today. First off the PLC numbers or whatever are a nightmare I feel like. always says it's the wrong one. And to top it all off I'm stuck in the store for the next 30 minutes as I'm typing this due to a tornado warning!!! 🙃🙃 I don't think I want to do one of these again.

I came looking for gold and found diamonds: Clarence Crusade update

4h ago

Today I was simply blown away by the local Warhammer community, and I want to thank them again for everything they've done. Today I went to my local little shop to assemble the Biovoro I bought. At first, everything was relatively normal. I was about to leave when the owner told me he had a surprise for me. When I saw the surprise... He was giving me almost the entire Leviathan set and more! I thanked him; I couldn't believe it. He told me he was giving it to me because he liked my work (the original Clarence) and that the whole local community got together and collected Tyranid miniatures to give to me. I feel so happy and touched, and I want to say it again: THANK YOU, DUEND...

GS1 vs. Barcode Resellers: The Quick Guide

4h ago

# 1. GS1 (The Official Source) * **Ownership:** You get your own **Company Prefix**. The barcode is registered to *your* brand name in the global database. * **Cost:** Initial fee + **Annual renewal fees**. * **Best For:** Amazon, Walmart, and major retailers. If you want your company registered directly with GS1.**.** **The Perk:** You can use "Manufacturer Barcodes." No need to peel and stick extra FNSKU labels on every single unit. Amazon trusts you because the GS1 database matches your Brand Registry. **2. Barcode Resellers (The Third Party)** * **Ownership:** They sell "used" prefixes from before 2002. Technically, the barcode is still registered to the original ...

Anyone here work in either Louisville, KY store?

4h ago

Asking because I’ve been applying and applying and never hear anything back. Is there no jobs open at either one? Or is HR particularly bad at calling apps in for interviews? Is there a better store to be at? The one by Bashford is closer to me, but I’m willing to drive to the one by the Paddock shops too, given Costco pays better that the majority of employers here. I’m open to DM’s as well!

How to learn wagashi making from professionals?

4h ago

Several years ago, I watched a news segment about how traditional Japanese wagashi is made. The shop owner, possibly from Kameya Kiyonaga (https://kameyakiyonaga.co.jp/en/store.html, I don't remember...) mentioned how difficult it has become to find young people willing to learn the craft. I’ve been deeply interested in learning to make authentic wagashi ever since. I’m Canadian, and I understand that mastering this craft takes years of dedication, early mornings, and consistent practice. I’m also aware that apprentice salaries can be quite low. However, I’ve saved enough and would truly value the opportunity to learn. Does anyone know how I might contact a traditional wagashi...

PSA: That expiring EufyMake E1 ink isn't just "going bad like bread" — here's what's actually...

4h ago

So I want to put this out there before more people get caught off guard. I used to work at a professional print shop running large industrial UV flatbeds — **the kind that cost as much as a house.** One day, ink expired. Printer didn't start printing poorly. Didn't warn us. Just **stopped working entirely.** Could print yesterday, locked out today. Here's what most people don't understand about why: **It's not the ink going bad like bread. It's engineered authentication with a hard expiration built into the hardware.** Here's how it actually worked on our industrial machine — and pay attention because this is going to sound familiar: Every ink ...

Walmart employees acting like I’m stealing every time I shop a Spark order

4h ago

I’m dealing with a weird situation at one store that’s starting to stress me out. I’ve never stolen in my life and this job is basically my only income right now, so the last thing I would ever do is risk getting deactivated over something ******. At this particular Walmart there are a few employees that seem like they have it out for me. Almost every time I’m checking out a shop order they are watching me closely or talking on the radio about me. Yesterday I was literally checking out at self checkout and one of them was on the radio right near me saying something like “where’s the driver right now” while looking directly at me. I’m starting to feel like all it takes is on...

1,200+ visitors and 0 sales. I’m running a US-based sourdough shop—be brutal with my site audit?

4h ago

Hey everyone, I’m currently in that "founder’s purgatory" where the traffic is coming in, but the checkout button is gathering dust. I’ve spent the last 6 months knee-deep in flour and more dense loaves than I care to admit. I decided to turn that obsession into **Loafly**, a boutique shop for home bakers. I curate the tools that helped me move past the disaster phase (like the Danish whisk) and I just launched my second original design, the **"Flour Power"** apron. **The Data:** * **Total Sessions:** 1,200+ * **Ad Performance:** My Instagram boosted posts are hitting **$0.26 Cost Per Click (CPC)** and a **4.4% CTR**. * **The Problem:** 0 organic sales. I’m l...

New hire - dug is terrible due to store layout and clutter and staffing. (Rant)

4h ago

I suffer from heavy bouts of pain when I walk, and I am expected to shop 70 items an hour, after my first 3 months. This would be reasonable, as im only 3 weeks in, hitting a solid 30 items an hour if it weren't for the fact that my store is a wreck. I've been working... 3 weeks, I can only do small shifts due to my pain, so on top of this I have to deal with Back stock is in the center of the aisles, impeding fast and brisk movement required for fast shopping, because our stores are just a bit too small. shoppers also taking orders out to cars with cars having priority, leading us to have to leave our cart in the aisle, for at least five minutes, a cart with raw meats and froz...

Any idea what these symbols mean?

4h ago

I bought these “Berry Keeper” containers from Aldi today. They have a tray on the bottom to help drain water, and vents on the side for air circulation. This guide is printed on the top, and obviously at the bottom it indicates what the symbols represent…. But I still can’t really figure out what they’re trying to communicate. For example… is it saying that berries, cherries, etc should not be rinsed with water before storing and not have air circulation? That doesn’t seem right?
