I’m re-reading the girls series and have picked up on so much stuff that just went over my head as a child. They’re just so dismissive of Ellie and her feelings and at times can be very passive aggressive, they also leave her out of things and don’t care that much about her interests (eg- going shopping and spending hours in stores of Magda & Nadine’s choice and dragging Ellie along but when Ellie wants to go to the art store they wait outside and spend 10 minutes complaining and telling her to hurry up) It’s nothing super drastic and crazy but it’s the little things that keep adding up and you just can’t help but pick up now that you’re not 12 years old anymore. ...

I’ve been shopping at Aldi since they opened in my town more than a year ago. I go approx 1x a week every week since they opened as I do 98% of my grocery shopping there. I have never seen organic fat free / skim milk as an option. Do your local stores carry fat free organic milk? I’ve asked the staffers a few times and they say they carry it but again…never seen it.

how can I improve? I always search for items, I ask staff for help. what more can I do? I always check with the customer and if they don't message back I call them before I check out.

I've been using Ibotta more regularly the last month and keep running into the same issue: when I do a loop of errands - usually groceries plus a stop at the pharmacy or convenience store - at least one receipt often fails to scan cleanly or gets flagged for manual review. I'm not trying to game anything, just stacking normal offers and trying to finish shopping in one outing. The receipts are legit, but they often end up wrinkled or folded, some stores use very light ink, and I sometimes split purchases into multiple small receipts to match offers. There are tons of Aliexpress shops selling 100% silks duvets, but with the most reviews positive, there are always a couple of one star reviews claiming that the product is not real silk. I’ve been an UE customer for a long time & frequent patron. I think I tip well. $10-$15 on an order (avg meals $45h) from locations less than 3 miles away (and a straight shot). So for the month of March I was going to do a low buy. I have a ‘red light’ and ‘green light areas’ Green light Areas (only shop for): Replacements, necessities for groceries, the house, and the time of month; candles only when they burn completely out then I replace 5 (I don’t buy expensive ones.
