I am well aware these are a dime a dozen....but I really think I do it differently

Most meal planning apps stop at the recipe. Most macro trackers stop at the log. Most grocery apps have no idea what you're cooking this week. I got frustrated enough to build the thing that connects all three. I have a family of 5 and my wife and I are always dreading getting our **** together for meals for the week, especially when the kids are picky. Here's the actual workflow: 1. Add recipes — grab one of the 8000+ recipes I already have, paste any URL from 149 supported sites and it imports automatically, or describe something and the search engine finds it in the library 2. Drag them onto your weekly meal plan — your macro totals build in real time as you plan 3. Hit &...

Churchill Canada Plant Based Options

45m ago

Hello, I am traveling to Churchill in Canada this summer and was wondering if anyone can share their experience with plant based options that are available there. I am just to traveling to remote places and generally just end up doing a lot of grocery shopping and cooking myself. I realize because of its location that it will likely be limited, so was just trying to get an idea of what might be available at the store and at restaurants. Thank you in advance.

Has this happened to anyone?

Got an order for Publix, (Publix I always shop at) so I go to the store and hit start shopping only to get hit with "youre too far from location, head to location" but I'm literally standing at the front door.

Fumbled a high paying order

54m ago

Went doordashing with my fiancé, they lock the doors when I hop out and stay in the car so I don't have to turn it off and start it again. Just needed like $50 to supplement groceries for the weekend before I'm paid, so we're off. First order is for $25, 7 miles. It's a Target next to a Giant. As we drive into the parking lot, my fiancé points out the gas station connected to the Giant, that it's much farther away than the one we go to. I think nothing of it and drive to the store, park, and head inside. About 8 items, all organic. So I'm looking all over, the app is no help, the Isles are G4, G8, so I just use my eyes. Find most things, can't find some o...

Calliditas, Pt. 2

I saw two men entering the villa today. A boss and his employee, that’s how they appeared to me. I never spoke to them directly, and I never saw them exit the villa. It was bizarre that the employee persisted in his state of following orders despite their place of business being a heap of concrete. He must not have respected himself much, or believed in himself much, because never has the frontier been more fertile for pure masculinity to express itself. Surveying acre by acre during a morning jog and claiming it as his own with no contest, and everything that could be free is free, while supplies last! What are the odds that those two men would not have betrayed an alliance, or that con...

Another 48-hours With Roblox & Ai

1h ago

This weekend made something clear to me. If you’re serious about making money online, you should be paying attention to what I’m doing right now. I’m not guessing anymore. I’m testing things in real time and figuring out what actually works. Last weekend, I started rebuilding Intelligent Qube inside Roblox. The mechanics are simple, so I thought I could finish it in a weekend. I didn’t. That first Saturday was rough. I spent most of the day fighting with the AI inside Roblox Studio just trying to get a cube to flip consistently. Something that should have been simple kept breaking. I eventually found the answer on the official Roblox developer forum. I should have checked there ...

Corporate gifts companies we've tried for small teams that don't want to overpay for things they won't us...

1h ago

We went through a few of these before landing somewhere that made sense for our size. Here's how they stacked up for a small practice with no dedicated hr team. Goody: good for personal one off gifts, the recipient picks from a curated selection which is a nice touch. Works well for individual moments like a work anniversary or new hire gift. Not really built for outfitting a whole team with branded apparel on an ongoing basis. Snappy: nice recipient experience, people pick from a range of options. Pricing is per gift so it can add up at scale. Better for occasional recognition than a full company store setup. Swaggy shop: IMO a great option for small teams, it's what we use now...

Has Anyone Here Seen The AGP Fantasy Movie From 2019 Named “Sam?” (Review)

1h ago

The movie is available for FREE on Amazon Video and overall is a genuinely enjoyable experience! A quick synopsis of it for clarity: Sam, a typical misogynistic jock who is a successful marketing agent for a lingerie company, is constantly flirting with and harassing all his female coworkers and generally just doesn’t respect women at all. One day he encounters a mysterious old man in a knick knack shop who peeps Sam’s disgraceful behavior and overall negative attitude towards women and he offers Sam some tea to sip on while he browses the store. Unbeknownst to Sam, he just drank a Magic concoction that will transform him into a bonafide woman the next morning. He wakes up and hijin...

Bass pro Shop roasted nuts?

1h ago

In the states we have a store called Bass Pro Shop. It’s kind of an attraction with an aquarium, sports equipment, and a snack station. At the snack station they serve roasted nuts. I called and they said it’s just almonds, pistachios, and cashews. My son has a peanut allergy. his father is insisting on taking him there today. My son is only three. We’ve had no interactions with peanuts. But he is tested to be pretty allergic. Have anyone with a peanut allergy gone to the bass pro shop? And dealt with the roasted nuts? I know airborne allergies are uncommon. But anytime I type anything into Google. It makes it sound so common.

I Let a Kid Wait in My Store After Closing

1h ago

At 8PM, the automatic doors slid open, and a kid with a snotty nose wandered into the pharmacy alone. It was a Thursday, which meant late night shopping. The store wouldn’t close for another hour. I didn’t find it too strange. My mum had been an avid smoker and would burn through two or three cigarettes while I ran off and explored. I was stocking bottles of Blackmore vitamins in the lifestyle aisle, and his presence caught me off guard. To tell the truth, vitamin prices were getting insane, and I’d taken to swiping a bottle or two, then fudging the sheets. The kid just stared at me and after a stretch of silence, trying to determine whether or not he understood what he saw, he s...

EARN MONEY QUICK: Flipping thrift finds - made my first $75 in two weeks

1h ago

Hey everyone, wanted to share a little win flipping thrift store finds. I made my first $75 profit in two weeks. I already like hunting for odd little things while juggling household chaos, so I figured why not try a side gig out of it. I stuck to small household items and quirky decorations, the kind you can snag for a couple bucks at local thrift shops: vintage mugs, picture frames, kitschy lamps, that sort of thing. I spend about an hour every Saturday browsing, then a few hours during the week taking photos and listing items on Facebook Marketplace. The best part is I decluttered the house and made some cash. My kids actually enjoy helping with sorting and the photo sessions, so ...
