They only announced the channel 1253 addition yesterday, but I'm missing my Tigers! Tuning to this only throws an error saying Temporarily unavailable and to contact my provider. Xfinity Advanced Tech support claimed on the phone that I could try a cable box from the local xfinity store without messing up my otherwise preferred and working equipment. They also said that the RF levels from my cablecards was "too low" to tune in the new channel. I'm not completely following this. Can you confirm? I am concerned because I know this is a one-way trip if it somehow cancels my cablecar... CA Resident: Requesting Disconnect/Cancellation per AB 286320h agoI am a California resident. I have tried to cancel my Xfinitity Internet subscription via the app, and the website, but account cancellation options have been removed (even though there are plenty of online options to sign-up or upgrade your plan). Under CA AB 2863, I am exercising my right to cancel online. I do not want a callback. I do not want to go to the Xfinity store. Please help me process this disconnection. If I don't hear back within 24 hours, I will file a complaint with FCC and CA AG. Fake ‘Free’ Watch-Update20h agoYou may have seen my previous post about being offered a ‘free’ Apple Watch for being a loyal customer for more than 10 years. Came in the mail, was billed. I tried to return it at two different Xfinity stores (as directed), 7 separate phone calls with so much craziness, including a suggestion to resell it on EBay to recoup some of the cost and being given the phone number for the ‘Xfinity Corporate Offices’ which connected me back to the regular Customer Service line. Finally, filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau and literally 2 days later got a call from poor guy who must have to clean up messes. Got the return label about 30 minutes later. Wow! Worked for me. Need help Closing an old Xfinity Internet account22h agoOn Feb 23, 2026, I went in to the xfinity store to get a new mobile phone. We ended up with 3 motorola edge 2025(1 new line and 2 upgrade). In order to get a discount (1 year of free unlimited mobile data), the sale rep created a new xfinity internet account for me. The old account was just 600mbps. I was paying $98.38 a month with home line. The new account that the sale rep created was for 1gig of internet for 5 years at $60. Total was $112 with home line. All 3 mobile phones are on the unlimited premium plan. So I was suppose to get a credit on each phone. Basically don't have to pay for the device for 36 months. After the phone arrived, we went back to Xfinity store to get... Unreturned equipment1d agoI moved a month ago, and canceled my service. When I canceled I was told I had unreturned equipment, I told them at that moment that I did not - I returned the WiFi tv thing 2 years ago when I downgraded my service and was told to drop the box off at an Xfinity store. So, at the time, I dropped it off at the front desk of the Xfinity store in Arlington, Va, and that was that. Now that I’ve moved, they seem to have ignored all communication with me. Unable to change TV plan - site checkout error1d agoI am attempting to help my parents "downgrade" their cable service from an older, more expensive plan to the near-identical "TV Plus" plan, which also includes a free 4k box. I am able to make it through to the last part of the checkout with them, however the Comcast site throws a generic error and forces us to go to the store or call/chat for help. Both avenues have netted us a higher price than that which was displayed on the comcast website during checkout. A screenshot of the desired new package are attached. I have never had a problem setting up a TV until trying to set up the LG G5 TV with the XG1v4 box and XR15 remote (other v4 box paired with our old Plasma was struck by lightning - both worked great together). I picked both the box and remote up today at the local Xfinity store. I keep getting an error message of "Remote not working?". What am I doing wrong? I can't watch any TV as of yet since I am in the midst of setting the TV up and the remote issue is causing issues with the set up. On 2/16 I went to an Xfinity store to return my modem after switching to my own device, which has been active on my account since that same day. I found my receipt, but it shows “equipment issued” instead of returned, which seems incorrect. Since then, I am still being charged the monthly equipment fee. I no longer have the Xfinity modem, my service has been running on my personal modem since 2/16, and there is a store transaction on my account at that exact time. This looks like the return was mis-processed at the store level rather than not completed. I used to have an account with service but it was turned off at the beginning of January having been paid in full. I called my bank, they told me to call Xfinity, called Xfinity just for one of their Indian call centers to say “yeah there’s no charge on your account” so I call my bank back, and they’ve basically told me that it’s difficult to dispute it because I have an actual business history with them. I have never been able to actually get my invoice through the app, I click it and it no pdf had ever come up, yet it does for everything else, just never this bill. I need my invoice showing that I paid off a cell phone so I can be reimbursed by my new carrier. I finally got through to an Xfinity Mobile agent via telephone who said she would email me my last 4 invoices and that it would take a day to hit my email and she verified my email address. It has not. It's not in my junk folder. I tried again through the app chat and the chat says they can't access any invoices because I am no longer a customer. ... Now this month I've blown through the limit, and the end of my 'grace month" is almost over. Time to make a change. I think there may still be an option to keep my existing plan and add an unlimited "surcharge," but it also appears the new plans might be a better value. He is no longer able to care for himself due to Alzheimer’s and she just called me crying because she got a letter in the mail that an xfinity account in his name is in collections. They always return the box in the spring and pick up a new one in the fall. She said she spoke to the xfinity store in Boynton Beach this spring and they had many accounts at their address that never stopped charging in the spring. She thought they had taken care of it so not sure if the letter is valid or a scam. Can you help? I just purchased a 4K television and I would like to upgrade to a XG1v4 box for my main room, however Comcast makes this literally impossible to do online directly through them, so I've resorted to posting here instead. I would be more than happy to use a free self-install kit, as that seems to be the easiest way to go about it. Need urgent backend r...4d ago**What happened**: I went into an Xfinity store to transfer my eSIM from my iPhone 17 to my iPhone 15. I'm going traveling soon and wanted to take the 15 with me and leave the 17 at home. The store rep initiated the transfer and their system partially associated the iPhone 15's IMEI/MEID with my line on the backend — but the eSIM profile never actually fully transferred to the 15. The 15 would not accept it. After about three hours of the store reps trying everything and calling support, I asked to revert back to the original setup — eSIM back on the iPhone 17 like it was when I walked in.
