Last week one of the places listed with ZERO demerits actually got that score when they had failed an inspection and then FAILED the re-inspection. The inspectors apparently didn't even bother to give them a score. I'll try to keep an eye on the perfect ZEROS from now on and create another section for re-fails. The inspectors also give ZERO scores to those places that pass the re-inspections but since they might still have some violations I'm not going to put them on the NICE list. This week our intrepid inspectors are going virtually everywhere to make sure that we are all protected from the... Is this any rare? Decided to compare the ingredients to the $5 store brand and they are surprisingly similar! The texture is identical to the Cerave version and the scent is very similar. Same feeling on my face after rinsing. Honestly makes me wonder if they have the same supplier. Also the directions are strikingly similar… Will we be getting this at some point? How to prevent slush buildup?29d agoHad lots of cold weather rides, but first time riding in actual ice/slush mixture today! Studded tires are great, would absolutely have slid out so many times without them. My region is very warm and only see 2-3 icey days a year typically. The roads were pretty slushy and several miles in there was a very substntial buildup of ice/slush in my fenders. At stop lights I dismounted and rolled my bike back and forth to prevent the wheels from seizing up. Any tips on how to winterize my fenders? I usually pay around $18-$19/lb for great looking ribeyes at Costco. How to cope with the shame and guilt?30d agoBack in 2019 I was in a car accident where my car was T-boned. I was the first vehicle crossing an intersection and another driver ran their red light at 50 mph, totalling my car. It was my first real motor vehicle collision (I was 26 at the time) and I didn't know what to do. Luckily the driver behind me pulled over, called the police and acted as a witness. Other than being emotionally shook, I thought I was fine so I did not request an ambulance. Instead, I went to my doctor the following day. I eat my string cheese cold out of the fridge, and while it’s not bad, I think Frigo’s is still my favorite.
