Hi all, 2 months ago I shipped a package containing food from Italy (15 items, under €50 in value) to my girlfriend living in the US, unfortunately it's been stuck in a Philadelphia warehouse since the 18th of December. About a week in I called and I was told to provide a Commercial Invoice describing every food item in the box in detail, so I did. I call support every now and then (I mostly just see it as a lost cause nowadays) and they've been saying that the package is cleared of all customs procedures, but despite this it hasn't moved and they're trying to contact the warehouse team to get it on the way. I shipped out a box to my girlfriend who lives in Georgia on the 21st, estimated delivery was the 23rd. On the 23rd I got the “a new delivery date will be provided soon” message and then on Monday the 26th it changed to this “package has been temporarily delayed”. My package was dropped off at a UPS store in Southern California and shipped to me in Northern California. Package went out for delivery and at some point when the driver had it with them, they changed the tracking status to "The company or receiver name is incorrect. This will delay delivery." I was in Walgreens the other day and everything was locked up. It seems interesting to me that the media portrays this as a racist action. Or to prevent against shop lifting. IMO they divert us with this narrative because it distracts us from the way Amazon has basically taken over as the biggest store in the world. I had a friend take an item to a UPS store in NYC using a shipping label with insurance I bought via usps.com. The UPS store packaged the item and it was delivered to me. Upon receiving the item I found that they put it in a huge box with the smallest layer of bubble wrap. The item is a 60lb amplifier which is no dented and the structure is compromised. Hi, if I want some help with 1. packaging a mirror to be shipped (so fragile packaging, ready to ship) and 2. for it to also be dropped off at a UPS store, what type of category is that? basically trying to see which category would have people who have everything they need. whether to make those custom boxes so it's good enough for shipping or would have boxes big enough & still make it fragile packaging & ready to ship (48 inches tall 20 inches wide 1-1.5 inch depth) and could drop it off for me?

Hello, I have a out bound package at the ups store in doraville ga that is going to nj according to the latest tracking info. My question is if it was dropped off this morning, does it make sense for it to be at the sorting facility now just not scanned yet? Does Anyone local who might know if the ups store is at the hub itself etc? I found both the ups store and people talking about the hub but those threads were a bit ago. Thanks!

hello! i ordered an iphone 17 and was going to trade in my iphone 12. unfortunately i couldn’t call out of work and assumed after the third missed attempt from UPS shipping, i could pick it up from the UPS store. well i was wrong and it’s being shipped back to Visible. but i’m worried now because on my Visible account it’s showing the iphone 17 and i don’t want to start getting charged for my payment plan because i don’t have the phone. has anyone been through this? from what i’ve seen in here i can’t attempt the purchase again for 30-days. i just want to know how painless to make this process. i just want to upgrade from the iphone 12 lol

I own an antique radio from the 1930s made of a material called Catalin. You can think of it as a predecessor of plastic. Due to its age, it is EXTREMELY brittle. Most of these are cracked by now and mine is perfect. I’m thinking about selling it on eBay. Let’s say the value is $2000. I’ve never shipped something of that kind of value. Would you trust UPS or FedEx for this? Is their insurance going to come through if the radio ends up cracked? Just one crack could drop the value by $1000. I ordered a 3 of the same couchs through the same Amazon seller and I super regret it. One is completely different fabric, poor quality , color is off and missing a supposed to be included pillow. Seller just tells me they cant afford to take the wrong one back.
