UPS Locations

Not asking for help, just a place to vent, I guess. I live in a small town where the nearest UPS store is an hour away. We have a UPS Dropbox that will accept whatever package that will slip through the slot in the Dropbox. I had to ship back my phone for service because the battery was swelling and the phone backing came off. It's been 3 days since I dropped my phone into the Dropbox, and the UPS tracking website still states they don't have my package. I am sick to my stomach because there are pictures and information on my phone that can't be replaced. I realize that the majority of you guys will think I'm an *****, but I wish I would have read this before I went down that road, so here it is. **TLDR**: Ordered two heat pumps from HVACDirect.com. They lacked the knowledge to assist me in properly assembling an order that would function. They have little or no understanding of what they are selling or how the components work together. Man I’m so annoyed. I tried to ship out my dna kit earlier today at a UPS store and the guy said he can’t ship it out without me paying extra for the shipping cost. I tried to explain to him that the shippih label they provided me with is already prepaid and they told me I don’t need to pay anything extra to ship it. He wouldn’t let me ship it. Then I called Ancestry support line, and they told me “do not pay anything extra, you can use UPS to ship it at no extra costs”. I’m in Canada and there’s currently a strike with Canada Post, so I’m looking for other postal services to use in my area. I have had such bad luck today lol

It hasn’t had any updates in 7 days. Does this usually mean the package is traveling cross-country without intermediate scans, or is this a sign it might be lost?

My build was scheduled to ship Monday 11 and arrive Wednesday 13. The tracking on my email then changed and said it was supposed to come on Saturday 15. I called the ups store today and no word. I emailed andromeda and they said that their order of V3 elite vector cases was held back, and they expect them to come on Monday. They said they would expedite builds that are delayed and gave an upgrade of components. I went from a MSI PRO B650-S WIFI to the MSI PRO B850-VC WIFI7 motherboard. And I got a 6400MT/s CL32 kit upgrade, since I believe the regular ram they use is 6000MT/s CL38. Recently went to an ffl to ship a firearm. They dropped the ball on pick up after 2 days and took to ups store today to overnight it. It was going within the states. Checked tracking an hour ago and its flagged as prohibited international shipment. The ffl apparently took it to a ups store. Will ffl be able to get my item back? Ups cant find any information right now aside from what its flagged as the ffl told me. Does anybody have any insight or experience with this that can offer suggestions for next step?

I've decided to stick with Kill team and AOS, so I'm selling the models from my army I don't need anymore. I calculated the prices together, subtracting from things like the rubrics being only half a box, not including the custom chaos spawn, and then put it only around 60% of the total price and I've come to around to a sale price of $225 dollars. If that's too high I can negotiate lower or only selling some of the items. $225 really is my comfort price, huh. Joke title and really love the show but as a UPS store worker this label makes no sense lol: 1. if that was a USPS tracking number it would just be numbers but it starts with “1Z” which is UPS. 2. The label has the format of a UPS label not a USPS label. even if this was shipped and printed in a fedex or ups store it would look like a USPS label. 3. if it was USPS it would need to go in a ground package or be a Priority mail label it can’t be like this. 4. What should I do because the person who bought my item hasn’t picked it up at the UPS store since November 8th? What could be happening?

Shipped an item, it was damaged in transit, too expensive to ship as a return, so refunded the full amount. When purchasing the shipping label, I added insurance as I do for all packages over $100. I went to file a claim on the UPS portal (as per eBay instructions), but the tracking of the package has not been updated. It still says "Dropped off at The UPS Store by Customer" on 11/10/25. I have a photo of the receipt from dropping it off as well. The buyer received the item on 11/13 and notified me of the damage. So was on the phone with UPS & the automated system & woman on the line said it would be delivered by 9pm today but the tracking still shows this?? Any chance with everything going on in Louisville that tracking could not update since maybe they’re pushing packages through to get where they need to go??
