If I were to buy a $60 tan from ulta beauty and replace the contents of it (liquid) with a cheaper version that I already have, then return the item as used, what would happen? It’s a question I’ve had for a while for a lot of different products from different places. Will they inspect an item in store before submitting the return and giving me my money back? Or do they even care since it’s not something they can sell again? I know it’s considered return fraud and I haven’t done anything like that nor have I ever stole from a store, but it’s a hypothetical question that’s been on my mind.
