My son is 13 and has been on 6 monthly check ups as his eyes seem to be changing fairly rapid. 12 months ago we bought a pair of Rayban from the men's section and paid the difference in price (about 120). 6 months later we went back for a check up and his eyes had changed slightly so we bought him another pair Armani and paid the difference again another 100+. At that time we were told that when he came back again he could have the Raybans reglazed so we didn't have to keep buying new frames and just rotate the frames he's got with reglazing. Nem szeretném a világ összes pénzét elkölteni szemüvegre, de nem mernék Lensmartról rendelni szemvizsgálat után sem, mert nagy dioptriás szemüveg kell, mindig kell vékonyítani, illetve cilinderes is a szemem. No to EO since natry na sya ng cousin ko and di nmn ngtagal yung antirad eyeglasses nya for 2 years. Btw, 20/20 vision pa nmn just wanna have eyeglasses to use kapag nsa work.I want antirad plus photochromic ksi GY shift so pgout ko mataas na sikat ng araw. Are there any good eyewear shops in and around Kharadi? There are a couple of which I see like TItan Eye+ and vision express, but does anybody have any experience with them or others?

Had an eye exam, 0.50 Astigmatism on both eyes. In the end my optician assured me I have 20/20 vision with some imperfections, otherwise don't need any glasses. I questioned if there's any help combating bright lights, especially for driving at night, they suggested to get glasses here with anti-reflective coating (it was Vision Express if that helps). The opticians there were extremely eager I purchase it from them on the day and so I did (perhaps stupidly). The cost were frames + £70 anti-reflective coating. Recounting the story to my friends and they all agreed I was ripped off and I would have been better off buying a pair from Amazon or third party site. As I basically ...

I went to vision express and they charged extra £200 for that. It was ridiculous. Any optometrists willing to do that with a reasonable price?

I can’t remember if I ever saw this as a thing, do us colleagues get discount on vision express? The ones that are inside stores, I feel like I read that when I joined but maybe I just want a good deal that doesn’t exist lol

My previous prescriptions (pictured and dated) are from Specsavers. I was sick of my vision never feeling right even after re-testing so I went to Vision Express instead and they have reduced my prescription significantly (last photo dated January 2026). I’m yet to pick up my new glasses and I have had several eye health checks which show no problems. I’m 30 years old and my prescriptions have always gotten worse every eye test but I’m really struggling to understand why Specsavers increased my prescription so much and Vision Express have reduced it? TIA for any help!

I cannot just buy glasses online. I am very, very fussy when it comes to look and fit. I get my eyes tested at Specsavers and keep my prescription. I go into Specsavers and/or Vision Express to try on glasses then whatever ones I am happy with, I jot down the model and order them second hand on eBay. I just saved myself £80, plus another £30 because I get them reglazed using an online optician as well. Today, I went in and one of them saw me writing it down and asked me what was I doing. I said I will order them online and they said I can just do it there and then 🫣
