TLDR; How do I keep progress while joints hurt? My work mandates safety shoes and I got a pair from a vendor they brought in. Pair of Reeboks that felt comfortable trying them on, however now due to the hard bottom, cushion that wore out in a week, and standing in one spot on concrete all day my feet, knees, and occasionally back hurt. This has taken me from 5-6 workouts a week to 0 for the last couple weeks. What can I do to not lose the progress I’ve made already?

I received this pair of shoes on August 13th. Now, one and a half months have passed and I have only used it to run 5 km, 7 km and 10 km three times. The rest of the time was used for walking, with a total mileage of about 55 kilometers. The outsole of the shoe has been worn down to half its thickness, and it is designed to guide landing on the forefoot. I currently wear NoBull cross trainers for lifting, Vans ultra range for WODs that have cardio in them, and Reebok floatzig for Hyrox (but they aren’t really that stable for high intensity WODs). recently picked up some new condition reebok lifters at a very good price. Half size larger than my normal shoe size. I’ve worn some adidas lifters that fitted great at half size larger so assumed this would be ok however these are slightly too large for me. I can still lift safely but it is noticeable. Does anyone have any quick fixes so I can keep using these while I look for a pair in the correct size.

19F. I tend to have tension problems. I got carpal tunnel when I was 12 and I also have TMJD. This started last year after I got a new pair of shoes (Guess brand).
