For some context these were only used once by the previous owner. However they have most likely been unused for the past 8-10 years (that's the date they were released by Vagabond Shoemakers) and stored without any conditioning or wear. Not sure if this count as Good Year Welt ( complete noob here ) So when I received them the back of the sole just came of, (the front is still very solid) and there's a musty smell. Is it possible to fix them by myself? Is this perhaps dry rot or is it just the glue that has degraded? We are going to Costa Rica next week with our two year old. We will be in a somewhat remote location. Where we are staying will include breakfast, and I anticipate we will be doing dinners out. But was hoping for easy, packable lunch options that our toddler could just eat in the hotel room or on the go, as I can’t imagine wanting to do 3 meals a day at restaurants. The store closed at Midnight, but they will make any orders they get before midnight and will still allow the Dasher to pick up at the window after they closed. I get the offer at 12:33 and accept because I know the above about the location. I called and asked when they got the order and if they made it. Manager said they got the order at 12:15 and did NOT make it. I put all of that into my dispute and it actually worked!
