I've written Lidl several times. The announcements and "tannoy noise" have become insufferable. Lidl used to be a peaceful place while sometimes busy at least was fairly quiet. Now an over excited media personality style voice bragging about how much Lidl values "value" interrupts my shopping experience. Last year I was suprised to see the NS "WinterCity" and this year, I also saw LIDL and KPN join the advent calendar. Got a 10 eur discount coupon on Amazon NL (with purchase of 30+ eur) from KPN, a free puzzle box from KPN store, and free cards from kaartje2go (I did not even have to add any payment info!). Also got coupons for free hot drink from Kiosk from NS. Wanted to know if there are other apps/subscriptions that run similar deals or interesting marketing gimmicks this month!

Do Belgians in general not eat peppers that often, so it’s more of a special ingredient or something? I’m honestly just trying to wrap my head around the massive price difference. Delhaize is literally six times more expensive, but even cheap stores aren’t much cheaper.

Hey all I went to Cornwall few weeks ago and there was a market in Pool/Redruth which was selling food at a decent price. Seemed like an independent seller/small business but they were selling sausages, chicken, wings etc for prices cheaper than Aldi/Lidl even. I'm interested in trying to find a similar place a bit closer to home, but it looks like Devon markets are all horrendously expensive. Has anyone got any recommendations about markets/independent sellers that sell food, especially meat, at good prices? Thanks in advance
