Hi, I notice Halifax have offered me 15% cashback at certain retailers such as Tesco and John Lewis. Does anyone know if John Lewis sells third party gift cards such as Amazon instore? I already done Tesco and got £30 cashback for £200 giftcard purchase.

Hi, I need a new macbook, my previous 2023 one broke last month (fall damage). Sent to the insurers and they couldn't repair so recieved £650 cash. I've also received £200 funding from my uni today towards it. Should I buy the 2025 macbook air 13inch M4 256GB from a retailer (Curry's/John Lewis etc) for £899 or the 2026 pre-order macbook air (base strage 512gb) coming out next week for £999 13inch M5 with Apple Education store? Alternatively they have the Refurbished 15-inch M4 chip macbook air for 929 on the apple refurb page. Also open to any other ideas? Looking for some advice on where we stand after our 15 month old TV has broken (no display) and John Lewis are refusing a replacement. We bought an LG TV (48 inch, OLED) in November 2024. We bought it in store and paid £640, reduced from around £900 as it was a returned item (it was not on sale as such and the receipt does not indicate that it was a discounted item). UK. Accidentally got a duplicate on clearance from John Lewis (higher end department store). Left is John Lewis, right is The Works (which I got last year, more like dollar tree level store) Interestingly there's a quality variation in material and sewing.

I'm looking at upgrading my 6a for either 9a or new 10a. There is currently good trade in offer for the 10a however I never upgraded the battery on my 6a (I took the store credit instead and used it for family members new phone). I wondered if this would impact the trade in value of my 6a as it is otherwise in good condition. Also I wondered if it was worth spending extra £100-£150 (John Lewis in UK currently has 9a on offer) to get the 10a. Thank you for the help
