But it’s not just BarkBox anymore. They’ve built out: * Subscription boxes (BarkBox, Super Chewer) * Dog food, dental chews, supplements * Collars, leashes, and dog travel gear * Retail distribution with Target, Amazon, and others This is a dog lifestyle brand now, not a single-product company. FUNDAMENTALS: * Low debt – they aren’t being crushed by interest payments * Reducing shares outstanding – yes, a small-cap buying back stock * Dirt-cheap valuation – price-to-sales and price-to-book way below peers like Chewy * High gross margins... Fast food alignment chart day 7 - the unofficial fast food chain of Canada, Tim Hortons, is the chain with a good menu a...1h agoWinner: Tim Hortons Runner up: Jimmy John's Rules: 1. Chain must be nationally recognized with over 300 locations 2. Chain must have a strong TV and/or social media presence. 3. Nationally recognized dine-in restaurants like Chilis acceptable but must confine to rule 1 and 2. 4. Coffee shops also acceptable but must confine to rule 1 and 2. 5. No, retail chains like O'Reilly Auto Parts and Build A Bear do not count as fast food chains, so please stop suggesting them. Local credit card points grievance2h agoHello to all. This is for those who make optimal efforts to keep track of CC point capture while shopping. FYI, Coffee Lab does not classify it self as a food service venue, they classify as retail. Therefore, any expected point multipliers from food & bev do not register. Important if you're swiping thinking you're getting 3 or 4x, when in reality it's 1x. Expected Xs must be had! Please share any other known examples of this anyone who can vouch for this shop?2h agoWhat industry am I qualified for?2h agoI’ve been managing a restaurant for the last few years, and I have to find something else before I lose my sanity. I’m 27, I have a bachelors degree but my only real experience is in food service and retail. I’m feeling completely hopeless. I’m worried I’ll have to take a massive pay cut I can’t afford it I want to do any other industry. I need to be making at least 55k which is hard to find entry level. Has anyone used the Brain Assistant app, if so what is your thoughts? Mine Below.3h agoJust discovered the app is now available & thought I'd download it and give it a try. Looking to get peoples thoughts on how well it works. Is it something you would use on a daily? My overall review from giving it a test for around 30 mins I found it very clunky, giving "useless" information. E.g. I asked it for Italian food spots in London & rank them based on price. It was able to find 5 restraunts but would not rank them in order. Something Chat GPT could do with ease & great detail! I then asked where I can look at buying the new iPhone 17 Pro Max, it then started reccomending me to visit Walmart, Best Buy, Target or via carriers that aren&... Fontainebleau was a disappointment3h agoWent to see Tears for Fears last night and I was looking forward to finally checking out Fontainebleau. Wow, given that they had all the time and references in the world to design this place, it's definitely mismanaged and has a terrible layout for events. It was about a 45 minute wait on a Wednesday at 6/7pm to get food or seated anywhere. Out of the few places that were even open, they were all overwhelmed with long lines. This was surprising as the concert was a relatively small crowd for a Vegas event and the rest of the casino wasn't busy. They aren't set up to handle even a small event. A lot of long halls to the bathrooms and it's straight up weird to have to pul... English vs French Bulldog flatulence3h agoHi all! My partner and I are doing a lot of research before getting our first bracheocephaplic dog. We're aware both French and English bulldogs have flatulence issues due to swallowing air with their flat faces, but also due to sensitive stomachs which can react badly to grain, chicken or other allergy-inducing foods. Apart from the smell, it can't be comfortable for the poor little guys! We're committed to get the best possible food for them, and wondered if anyone had any tips (I'm in the UK). Also, I know Frenchies are infamous for evil farts, are English Bulldogs any better for gas or exactly the same? I'm so confused. Has anyone experienced anything similar, if so could I please have some advice, or just vent.3h agoSo I've been ill for almost 4 years now. Many symptoms but relevant ones are yellow diarrhoea, upper right abdominal pain and difficulty digesting certain foods also I'm overweight and am really struggling to loose weight. About 2 years ago I was diagnosed with bile acid malabsorption. The letter I received was literally 3 sentences the scan results were what the consultant expected you have BAM and your GP will manage it. The consultant then retired from the NHS. Here I am years later, have been insisting on going new symptoms couldn't be gastro related I had that diagnosis. But I am starting to think I am wrong. I'm starting to doubt my diagnosis. I never got any more ... She's active- she does 3-4 hours of dance per week, plus an hour of martial arts. We live in a walkable city in the UK and she's often on her feet and moving. I have had a lifelong struggle with my own weight and have tried my absolute best not to project or transfer any of my own issues onto my kids. I do know that she has inherited familial hypercholesterolemia from me and will begin treatment for this in the next year. She has a moderate cow's milk intolerance that we found out about and she now mostly used oat milk but still has some dairy produce after we were adv... [SF] Seven Days4h agoSeven Days Prologue It didn’t begin with screaming in the streets or bodies slamming into barricades. It began quietly. A cough on a train. A fever in a hotel lobby. A woman vomiting on the steps of a cathedral while tourists hurried past. I was supposed to be on holiday, far from the drizzle and routine of the UK. The air here was warmer, the streets brighter — until they weren’t. Within days, rumours spread faster than official news. Some said it was food poisoning. Others whispered about a virus no one had seen before. By the time flights were cancelled, by the time phones stopped working, the sickness was already in the bones of the city. ⸻ Chapter One: The Strangers I Knew ... Reminder that there are MANY ways to resist even if you can’t show up to protests 👇🏽4h ago1. SUPPORT BOYCOTTS…trying to even break away from the megacorps that support the president (Starbucks, target, walmart, amazon, etc) is a huge step 2. Attend trainings or lectures on topics you’re unfamiliar with…De-escalation trainings, allyship training, debunking trans myths trainings, etc…every person who learns about topics that make them uncomfortable and shares them with others helps to make our society more compassionate and caring and people-centric. The gov wants you to think that our main fight is red vs blue instead of oligarchs vs you. I post a lot about trainings and encourage you to join them. Feel free to find some on YouTube as well. 3. Food ? What kind? Ikea? Home furnishings ? Money ( boring) Next steps on Rayban support?4h agoNot having much luck with my Rayban Metas bought in June. The speakers on the first pair stopped working after 2 weeks, and were replaced by the retailer within a week. Three weeks after that, the microphones stopped working - and I contacted Rayban support. After some weeks, they authorised a warranty replacement - and late August finally sent details of how to get them to them. I did so, and they sent me notification that new ones had been sent out on 11th Sept. According to the UPS tracking code, they were delivered to another part of the UK on the 17th (Not my address, not any address related to me). The warranty claim is now labelled complete. I have messaged two different support em... Trauma triggers may lead me to lose my job, help4h agoHi guys, I’m a 24 yo male in the UK, I have moved away for university and have settled in my university town for a little while, to relax and decompress after an intense uni experience. I work in retail and there’s an in house security team which pretty much operates when we the store is open. Recently they have payed, I felt special attention to me, even though I haven’t done anything wrong. Anyway I sensed this special attention and I felt triggered. A month prior I had an awful experience visiting my home town where I was suspected of hiding things from my (narcissistic) father, there was nothing to hide apart from getting away from him. Through out my trip I could tell he had... 42M France I am an English guy I have been totally celibate all my life I have traditional values I am seeking a serious...5h agoHi there thanks for reading my post this is a very long post please read it in full before messaging me.
