Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Aldi Latest Community Discussions About AldiAldi has been considered cheapest supermarket in the UK...1d agoAldi has been considered cheapest for the 3rd month in a row. 95 items for £171.32 which is not too bad.. question is how long those items will last ? Prices have increased, products have shrunk... For the last 20 odd years, I have been shopping like this \- Sainsbury's for some items via Nectar \- Lidl for mostly cleaning items \- Asda for other sundries \- Iceland for bread only \- local market for some times exotic vegetables and etc... Mounting pressure on UK retailers in particular stems from high debt costs and stagnant consumer demand. For merchants, this serves as a warning to shore up balance sheets and expect continued volatility in European expansion efforts. --- ## Story of the Day **Amazon** is officially bringing sponsored ads to Rufus, its AI shopping assistant. Leaked pitch decks reveal that brands can now pay for placement wit... Where do you guys usually shop for groceries/meat?3d agoWhere do you guys usually shop for groceries/meat? I’ve been trying to find the best spots lately and spent the last couple days checking out different stores, including some smaller Hispanic butcher shops (honestly worth visiting since they’re everywhere). Here’s what I found: El Toro Loco – Seems like one of the cheapest options, especially the Selma location (haven’t been in person yet, just going off their flyer). Example deals: ground beef \~$4.39/lb, chicken legs \~$0.59/lb, avocados 2 for $0.75. Hard to beat on paper. La Vaquita – Pretty average overall. You can find deals, but it’s hit or miss. Rennas – Also average unless you’re buying in bulk. Not super practi... The price of pistachios3d agoAldi was always much cheaper than any other store and this price seems a bit more inline with Walmart for example. But these guys used to be $3.75 until a few months ago. Then I noticed they jumped to $4.25, then $4.95. Today I saw this. The bag is larger by (I believe) 50%, which it proudly proclaims on the yellow on the top. But I was floored by the price. I was about to make this post a question, because I couldn't find a ready answer by searching around - but then this article jumped out from the search result: **Global Pistachio Prices Surge Over 50% as Iran Supply Disruptions Tighten Market** ([link](https://www.global-agriculture.com/global-agriculture/global-pistachio-price... Didn't pay my exorcist, got repossessed. This week's grocery store extra-specials, week of 4/13d ago* Most stores' sales run from Wed-Tues, but note that the Rouse's specials run Wed-to-Wed (so there is one day of overlap for the rouses sales on Wednesdays.) * **Canseco's**: This store sometimes publishes on Friday mornings an additional 3-day weekend sale flyer, will add items from that flyer here if/when they do so. * Items in bold are exceptionally good sale prices, IMO. * "VP" = value pack, "FP" = family pack, "PF" = previously frozen, "RTF" = release the files * If you'd like to receive this list via email, send me a note at tweetystraw (at) gmail (dot) com . **Aldi** \* Chicken breasts, thin-sliced fresh antibiotic-free, ... Indulge: Tony Aldy brutalized a raw cut of venison and gulped down a half gallon of goat's milk in a quiet summer's supper. He whistled in teams of butlers and maids to polish off his 80-foot oak dinner table following the meal-for-one, while a French bartender poured up Aldy's nightly ... Braymiller Market downtown becoming to become an Aldis4d agoALDEEZ NUTS! April fools “No coupons. No kits. No eating ramen. “4d agoFinally ea paid off4d agoFirst ever big player that I packed tradeable Things to buy that legitimately make life easier4d agoSo the amount of money I’ve spent on my pup is obscene. I’ve bought every neat little item marketed to make our lives easier, some of which get shelved and never used again. In an effort to help other future pup owners, here’s a couple things that genuinely did help! (Mods - I promise I’m not a bot or AI or trying to sell anything lol) \- Woof bully stick holder: an absolute must. I use it to hold rabbit ears, tripe strips, yak chews, etc. It both reduces the risk of choking for my pup and also make chews last sooo much longer! It’s much more enriching for him than just wolfing a snack down. \- Kongs: everyone knows this but kongs are a must. To stuff, just soak your pup... Favourite Fruit and Vegetable stores / Markets5d agoFavourite fruit and vegetable stores / markets? We're in bayside area so closer to home the better. Happy for not dirt cheap if the quality is decent. But preferably cheaper than Coles, Worth, Aldi Have tried: ● Skippys - quality can be hit or miss, especially on their specials. ● Rocklea - Favourite market but with the cost of petrol its not worth it anymore. ● Coco's - produce mostly a miss, normally end up chucking half of the bucket if its rotten or spoilt. ● Manly Jan Power Makets - too expensive for what it is ● Farmers Pick Box - great quality (most of the time) but would like to support local if we can. Üzletvezető / régióvezető – más területről reális?6d agoSziasztok! 28 éves vagyok, jelenleg Ausztriában dolgozom a szállodaiparban (recepció + foglalás), több év tapasztalattal. Emellett végzős vagyok közgazdász (kereskedelem és marketing) szakon, illetve van FOKSZ végzettségem is. Német C1, angol B2 – a németet napi szinten használom. A közeljövőben szeretnék visszaköltözni pár évre Magyarországra (osztrák határ környéke), főleg lakásvásárlás és szakmai tapasztalatszerzés miatt. Elsősorban üzletvezető / területi vezető pozícióban gondolkodom, inkább multinacionális cégeknél (pl. Aldi, Lidl, Penny vagy akár gyorséttermi láncoknál). Az utóbbi időben több helyre jelentkeztem, de mindenho... Please do not sleep on frozen protein waffles, y’all.7d agoI have been purchasing and enjoying the frozen protein waffles for awhile now. I have been on a health journey, blah blah. I noticed not long ago that the regular “homestyle” waffles are actually fewer calories for two. They were out of protein waffles this week so I went with the regular waffles. The difference was night and day. The protein waffles are crisp and vanilla-y and nicely browned. They’re genuinely delicious despite being marketed for being high protein (which is debatable). The regular waffles are the floppy, pale Eggo-esque type I’m more used to, and the reason I don’t typically get frozen waffles. It’s my mission to make sure they don’t phase these waffles ... Am I taking this too far?7d agoSo today I was at Costco all day trying to get my shopping quality up because they normally have everything in stock at my Costco. I did about 150-160 items there today and only had to do 1 replacement and 0 refunds. While I was waiting at Costco for orders I saw an aldi order with decent tip and only 11 items like 2 miles out. So I took it. Of course, they are out of 3 of the 11 items and customer kicked back all 3 of the replacements (that they chose in the app themselves as refunds) I was 1 item from completing the order and called support to cancel the batch. I’m not doing anymore refunds this quarter 😂 I have to try…. You need to be diamond in my market to make real money. I h... A Running List of WFPB Friendly packaged foods7d agoI've compiled a list of food products that that I consider compliant with a WFPB diet. Although technically not “whole foods,” they are all oil free, refined flour free, and free of added sugars (including maple syrup, agave, fruit juice, etc.) and non-nutritive sweeteners. Most of them do contain added salt and some may have small amounts of things like natural flavors in them. I’m not including the obvious stuff here like nuts, dried fruit, non dairy milk, and salsas. Some of these can be pricey but can be nice for travel, special occasions, or when you are short on time. These are products sold in the united states. Comment anything I missed and I will try to update the list! ... Was meint ihr dazu? Noch vertretbar es so zu bewerben, weil Eiweißgehalt im Vergleich zu anderen Lebensmitteln hoch ist? Edit: Markos habe ich gecheckt, war a... Cheaper Buy Miles Review Thread: PSA THE EASTER EGGENING 🍫🥚🥚🥚🍫8d agoGreetings Legends! New thread, because the easter long weekend, writers fest and heck knows what else gives you lovely reasons to make a visit. Righto - for the newbies: Starting a new thread because THERE'S EGG GOODNESS, and wanted to give a heads up of what's currently in store. Unaffiliated, nothing to gain, just a fan passing on the good vibes to counter \*waves hands around\*. What is Cheaper Buy Miles aka CBM?
