You can [get the data yourself here](https://afdc.energy.gov/data_download). These chargers are suitable for most new EVs on the market, except for: 1. Tesla drivers who haven't bought the official CCS adapter yet. Certain older Teslas need additional work done to accept the adapter. 2. Nissan Leaf owners, owners of the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, and some owners of older cars that also use CHAdeMO. If you drive such a car, see my matching post in r/leaf. **Some of these chargepoints will be "refreshe... Pfünderli for 99 Rappen – Aldi sparks competition in the bread market | Aldi takes the lead – and everyone follows:...1d agoThe most demeaning hiring process I’ve experienced1d agoI (F19) currently work at a pub doing all front-of-house roles. Before this, I only had one other job. Both have been minimum-wage, part-time positions with pretty standard hiring processes: you send in a CV, do an interview or trial shift, and then get an email letting you know the result. So, when I applied for a new part-time, minimum-wage job recently, I expected something similar. I saw the listing on Indeed - it mentioned perks like a free gym membership, which sounded like a nice step up from dealing with coked-up drunk idiots at my current pub job. I applied and didn’t hear back for two weeks, but then got a call asking me to attend a group interview. I asked how many stages ther... I’ve heard people say they like going to Kroger because it’s the best deals for drinks and Aldi for produce. Obviously Sam’s Club for bulk stuff but I’m interested to know your strategy when doing a grocery shop. I usually go to one place maybe two if something is out of stock at Aldi. Also is there a farmers market that sells good produce around here? I thought I seen one but there was no produce just a bunch of stuff I think was second hand. WSJ - California’s Wine Industry Is in Crisis4d ago[WSJ Article](https://www.wsj.com/articles/californias-wine-industry-is-in-crisis-4f246efb?mod=wknd_pos1) >The U.S. wine industry hasn’t had it this bad since Prohibition. The list of problems is long in California, the cradle of American wine. Vineyards have an oversupply of grapes. People are drinking less, especially younger drinkers, and tariffs have caused the biggest foreign market for U.S. wine—Canada—to dry up overnight. With this year’s grape harvest in full swing, way too much wine from previous years still hasn’t been sold. Meanwhile, the unusually good weather is adding to the glut. The temperature was cool most of the year, without frost or heat, an environ... 28M met original FI goal4d agoI just turned 28 and thought I’d check my accounts. Looks like I’m officially at my original FI goal of 1MM, so I thought I’d post an update. I set this goal back in 2020 when I graduated college, thinking it would be 10-15 years away - but things have been very fortunate for me in terms of the market, salary progression, no expensive incidents, etc. Some info about me: - I live in the DC area working in software, devops, cloud, etc - I split rent with my gf (about 1k each, utilities included) - Salary progression was: 2020-2023 (job 1, F50 company): 80k starting -> 120k -> 150k. Left this job because of bullying, disrespect, and other mental health issues. 2024... A challenge to only eat at McDonald’s6d agoAre you tired of shopping at Ingles and Aldi with the poors, but also don’t want to **** with all those libtard elitists at West Village Market? Instead, eat like a president at my McDonald’s! Why won’t the radical anarchist Dems shut up about food deserts when our country is full of these lovely Golden Arches? I’ve found that when I just get the basics from McDonald’s- meat, dairy, produce, and McNuggets- it’s wildly more less communist than a trip to Earthfare. Besides, no one but rich hippies in North Asheville is educated enough to understand or give a **** about putting processed food into their bodies, and who wants to shop with those beta cucks? It’s not American un... Rice and beans guide - Long post, with recipes included6d agoI am on this sub often and frequently I see posts like “I have $x for groceries. How can I last y time?” and invariably people respond with rice and beans among other things. It makes sense. Rice is the cheapest starch and beans are the cheapest protein. But what does it mean? On its own, 'rice and beans' is not an inspiring meal idea. Its dry and bland. They are blank slate ingredients that can form the backbone of a versatile array of dishes with the right ingredients accompanying them. To that end, below I have several meal ideas, all of which cost less than $2 per serving, each of which are a great mix of taste, cost, nutrition, and calories. IMPORTANCE OF MEAL PREP I li... Winners & Losers In The Pet Food Industry:6d agoWinners & Losers In The Pet Food Industry: Winners: ✅ Veterinary practices: Oligopolistic, have been able to raise prices without margins being affected. Efficiencies have increased profits whilst they have damaged hard working veterinarians and your pet, who is now another banal KPI. ✅ Big DTC companies: They are eating up the market on a land grab basis. They are disrupting kibble, raw and each other. ✅ Gently cooked foods: Consumers love these. They don't love the price though. ✅ Purina, Royal Canin & Hill's selling pet food through veterinarians. Still the undisputed best way to sell the product, despite a lot of these containing sug... Who won the Brand-Agency Business in September? + Who lost it?6d agoI do these recaps every two weeks. Flying long haul with a baby and a toddler!10d agoWe recently arrived home after a return trip to Europe with a 2.5yo toddler and a 5 month old. Thought I would share some of our learnings in case it helps anyone else, as I struggled to find other threads on this (there are plenty for travel with one baby, but not as many with a toddler in the mix!) **Nappy changes:** we used the kmart crescent crossbody bag to hold 3 nappies for baby and 1 for the toddler, wipes, small hand sanitiser, puppy pads / blueys as a change table cover, and a spare onesie for the baby. We could then easily carry and access it across our chest for nappy changes, and it otherwise fit inside our bigger carry on backpack. On returning to our seat we would restock as ... Love me some Sunday Salmon,10d agoNothing makes me smile more than a slab of Salmon. A pack of salmon burgers and some chicken tenders. I've picked up a cooler of ice. Building relationships with businesses is worthwhile. I frequently take items to a chain fast food restaurant. 1) the big manager knows and does not object. 2) the single parents are appreciative. 3) i have a unlimited supply of diet coke and food if I want it. 4) cold items can be place in freezer or cooler for employees not a work. Yes , I know this is a no no but GM says its fine. Today I took 6 large broken Yankee candles to a girl making wax melts. My refrigerator is down but buying ice every few days adds up. Large ice maker equals free food. Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
