Hi there! I’m a beginner runner, usually covering 3–6 km at a time, as I mostly stick to casual jogging. I’m thinking of getting a new pair of running shoes and I’m torn between the Adidas Duramo SL2 Women’s and the Puma Softride Enzo NXT Women’s. I typically do easy runs about four times a week—jogging, walking, and taking it slow. Comfort is my top priority when it comes to footwear. Which pair would you recommend for me?

I bought the adidas supernova gortex shoes, but the lip is stitched and my high arches are making the fit too tight. And obviously no amount of loosening the laces is working. I assume it’s to seal such that water doesn’t come through. But what can I do here? I can’t return. I had the same experience with Nike vortex shoes as well. Is it safe to cut the stitch?
