![]() Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Shoprite Store Latest Community Discussions About Shoprite StoresShoprite haul review - $7.99132d agoShoprite grocery started doing 2g2g. I couldn't find reviews of it so I was hesitant. It had 3.5 starts initially. I would say it was worth it. It is definitely at least the estimated retail price of $25. Almost everything was at the sell by or best by date or a day from it, but most could be used for lunch for the week or frozen. I would NOT recommend for picky eaters or shoppers. None of the stuff is what I would normally buy (processed meat, substitute sugars, artificial ingredients), but can't complain for the price. If you don't like certain food, I wouldn't recommend wasting money on it because you may get a bunch of stuff you really don't want. We were able ... monster high dolls found at shoprite grocery in eastern pa!998d agoYesterday, I learned the hardest lesson as a newbie!1688d agoI’m never accepting a Shoprite/grocery delivery order on a Holiday week! I saw the carts pulling up to my car and I wanted to cry!! Is it too late to drop the order?? Even the store workers felt bad for me. Two shopping carts overflowing with meats, cans, appliances, the kitchen sink, and how could they forget, Ten, yes ten cases of water! Not only did they have those but two gallons of water for good measure and two twelve packs for the kids! I was horrified! Got to the house, huge driveway but there were cars parked at every angle. So of course I couldn’t even back my car in. The person who ordered never came out to show her face or even say thank you. They sent an older gentleman o... Opt out of a merchant1710d agoSo the other day I had a “straw that broke the camels back” situation at a shoprite grocery pickup. Long story short they are always rude and when I called customer support and complained they took care of it and added bonus to my account for the long wait. After that. All day I declined saying “I don’t want to go to this store”. Haven’t gotten a single solitary order from that store in days and usually get pinged multiple times an hour from there. So did they opt me out or did I by pressing the I don’t want to go to this store button? Also I called the actual store and complained to a manager. Who seemed to realize that section of the store ***** at their jobs. Am I able to get a doctor's note after quarantine? New Jersey1803d agoI have no idea if this is the right sub for this. I'm 22 and work as a cashier in a shoprite (grocery store chain) but basically, I had to go into quarantine for 2 weeks after coming home to New Jersey from Illinois. I was unaware of this, but apparently state law has it that employees are eligible for pay from their employers in covid related cases. 10 days after I came back, my manager told me to give him a doctor's note so I can receive pay for those 2 weeks. I never got a note, as I was unware I could be compensated. So that leaves me with 2 questions: 1) Would it be possible/legal to get a note NOW saying that I had to quarantine due to being in an "unsafe" state, an... Shoprite Grocery deliveries through Doordash!!!1933d agoAnyone having issue with Shoprite Grocery deliveries through Doordash? They send two at a time and they aren’t ready for hours. When you choose “order not ready” your completion rate goes down but then you are stuck for two hrs waiting for the orders. I have a car not a **** van. Posting from upstate Ny by the way! I Am An Inventory and Ordering Associate at Shoprite, Grocery Store, AMA About the Current State of the Grocery Business1967d agoI Am An Inventory and Ordering Associate at Shoprite, Grocery Store, AMA About the Current State of the Grocery Business1967d agoI've worked in the grocery business for 10 years. I've done it all. Cashiering, online shopping, over night pack out, and currently inventory and ordering. I work with all departments. I have a general knowledge of many things. We've been run ragged, but I'm off today so AMA about product shortages and why they're happening, how we order, current Corona policies, and what's going on behind the scenes. Availability https://imgur.com/gallery/8owsKLX Best bakery for birthday cake2101d agoNot looking for anything fancy, just a bakery that does simple birthday cake (vanilla, chocolate, funfetti style) really well. I tried getting one at Omonia Bakery on Broadway and was not impressed. They do baklava and cheesecake really well, but the regular cake was dry and not good. The bar is set pretty low, I’m used to Costco cake and Shoprite grocery store sheet cake, but not trying to feed an army with a Costco cake, and Shoprite is far away. Any suggestions? UPDATE for the group: Went with Leli’s. The birthday cake was great! Got a simple vanilla cake with buttercream frosting. One disappointment though, decided to pick up a few chocolate cupcakes as well in case others would ... What's a good way to make chicken wings?2226d agoI'm no culinary expert, but I cook a decent bit. I'm home alone for July 4th, and have recently been obsessed with hotsauce, so I figured I'd cook up some Chicken Wings. I'm going to go to shoprite(grocery store) to buy them, but I'm not sure if it matters what I buy. I generally like skinless wings, but not even sure. For the Sauce, I really like Frank's Red Hot Sauce, mixed with some brown sugar and butter. If anyone has any recommendations or tweaks to that hotsauce recipe, or exact amounts I should add to make it the best it can be, that'd be awesome. I'm trying to keep it simple, please keep that in mind. I just want to make some good chi... First (retail) job advice, please help3352d agoBackground: 19/M/US, been out of high school for two years, spent senior year with two internships (one in mobile app development and the other Web designing) both unpaid, the following semester at a community college taking 9 credits then transfered to a four year as a full-time student but not doing well at all. Majoring in something I didn't like and took a year off traveling, searching, learning who I am and what I want and see long distance girlfriend of 6mo in Europe. Got back from traveling in April and started a retail job at a Shoprite (grocery chain) deli to pay for trips in May and right after I accepted the job she broke up with me (like day after). I have had this job for ... 🛡︠Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
