Planet Fitness Locations

I (male) just started going back to the gym. I’ve had a planet fitness membership that I’ve used dozens but not hundreds of times over the years. Went into the gym at 2am to find the overnight (male) employee sitting on a locker room bench playing on his phone. I just stashed my stuff and went out to the machines. A few people of mixed gender are also here working out and there was a guy in the bathroom while I was in the locker room. It appeared that the bathrooms had just been cleaned and the employee was taking a break. My question is do y’all think it’s acceptable for them to be taking breaks in the locker room while customers are trying to use it?

Hello I am a woman that’s new to the gym and wanted to be apart of a workout group. Is there any near the south Seattle area that goes to planet fitness that has an established gym group that would take me in!!!!!

Planet Fitness used to have these all over the place and they were a great whole body workout. Now they are phased out and I'm looking for anywhere that has them to help with the New Year's resolution

I’m posting to get clarity on Planet Fitness policy, because what’s happening at my location feels seriously wrong. There is a male member who already had prior restrictions placed on him because of inappropriate behavior toward women — to the point that he was instructed not to approach or speak to female members. Despite that history, there have now been multiple incidents where female members independently reported seeing this same individual’s genitalia exposed while he was stretching. Just looking for gym suggestions. Not a muv or planet fitness. I really dislike giant commercial gyms Would prefer something smaller and more intimate: 24/7 (if possible), free weights hits & machines, maybe tanning if they have it would be cool. Looking for something in the valley, but open to whatever.

I'm a class person and lives in a metro area, i have 3 Organetheory, 3 stretchlab, 2 Club Pilates, 2 YogaSix, 1 Rumble, 2 la fitness, and one EOS, 24hr, cyclebar, PlanetFitness, F45, 9Round less than 15 minutes drive. I constantly go to OT 8x, SL 4x, CP 4x, Y6 4x, and F45 2-6x, LA Fitness and some other classes out of my area if go out or happen to go certain area like SolidCore, Nike Studios etc. In my market, paying these seperatly will cost OT $129 SL $189 CP $129? Y6 $119 Cyclebar $69 F45 $189(8 class membeship)/2=\~$95 LA \~$40 and this is already $770 if i pay separately, and i hasn't counted other locations I go sometimes, including those I go when I'm travel...

I have been letting MacroFactor take the wheel in terms of nutrition for the past 3 months and have made significant weight loss progress! Currently down about 44lbs. I have been doing the tried-and-true Bro split, then switched to Upper/Lower lately. I have been using Bevel to generate my workouts and track my strain and sleep. It has been doing pretty well with progression. MacroFactor workouts have been a little odd with full body, and the workout selection choices have been very different (neck lifts, pullups for biceps, ab wheels, weird cable lifts). Think of it as a middle ground for those of us who have been committed to fitness for a while and arent as likely to quit. but also are not trying to be body builders/powerlifters. It would filter out the January rush and some of the casuals, and also wouldnt do things like dance class or weight lifting classes which inshape does. Basically the way planet fitness is super casual friendly, it would be catered to those that are committed to fitness that still want a chill environment but also would appreciate a gym that isn't packed to the point some days you cant even do your complete workout.

Please share your thoughts and experiences for a recommendation for a gym near Crossgates mall? I see the Planet Fitness around the corner, and VENT. Along with a YMCA in Guiderland, and PIT fitness. Does anybody else tend to experience altercations with other car living folks about parking spots ..? It always feels so weird and ‘primal’ to me. Like why are you resource guarding a parking spot at the library. This happened awhile ago at the gym, where apparently I took some guys parking spot. So I’m looking for a decent gym with hot showers. I know fitness connection is good especially since they have a pool and sauna I liked planet fitness in sparks because they had massaging chairs and tables but the showers seemed cold and not hot. There’s this guy who I see at the Planet Fitness I go to nearly every time I’m there. Sometimes and he and I do small talk. I'm thinking about joining Planet Fitness at 101 W Wisconsin Ave. and am looking for what people's experiences are - good and bad. While I'm mainly looking for general opinions, some specific questions... * It appears to be geared towards newbs like myself. Is that true? Are the machines pretty self explanatory? * The website says it has classes but then it also says "It appears your club has not set up an online schedule." My gym for the 2nd time now has popped up on Sniffies. The first time I noticed it a few months back someone chatted me up (anonymously) and kind of asked me about it. Soon after the location was removed and you could no longer 'check in' there. This isnt a planet fitness. The people at this gym seem to take it seriously. Currently someone has it that they'll be there at 5am. I will be at work and wouldnt engage this anyway. The place is packed at 5am. Its a mixed crowd of all types and ages of people. What are the chances this is a 'honeypot'?
