Started searching for hospitality and retail(convenience) industry. None of the jobs are popping up in any job search sites. Went to local shops and hotels. Found all young international students working there as they get paid in cash and below the minimum wage. The companies don’t pay taxes to the government for the payrolls and nor does the government seem to crackdown on them. All I see is new stores and hotels popping up in construction and they are all owned by the same people who own the ones that are existing. How are Americans going to survive if even the service industry jobs are being exploited by foreigners?

I’m working on redoing my shop area and need advice on the shop table. I was originally going to get rid of it and make something new from scratch due to how big it is. The biggest issue ks it’s too deep approximately 38” and I cant reach the back wall. I would like to add French cleats to the back wall to store tools. After attempting to move it out of there to take pictures I realized how big and heavy it really is and now I’m considering trying to make it work.
