I thrifted this duffle jacket the other week and would like help identifying the brand. Tried Googling and didn't manage to find any information on a New York brand with 3 crowns as it's logo. Reverse image search showed nothing useful much either. Seems to be a New York based brand, but the jacket is made in Japan by, Taikyo Sangyo who are a wholesale distributor of men's clothing from what information I could find. Based on code on the tag I think its from Fall/Winter 2007, so could be from a defunct brand that shut down around that time so it doesn't have a social media presence? For context, I've friends who shopped between the two and this is my first time shopping designer. I'm comparing nordstrom rack and rue la la for buying discounted designer clothing and trying to figure out which has better selection and pricing. Nordstrom rack has physical stores i can browse but stock is inconsistent and mostly picked over in my size. Rue la la is online only with timed sales which seems more curated but i can't try anything on first. For people who shop both nordstrom rack and rue la la which do you prefer for finding designer pieces at good prices?

The weekend storm will probably knock out power for some people, and the freezing temperature is going to make staying home difficult. **Where to go?** If you have money, a hotel is a good option. There is nothing in the stores. I had a shop and pay for 2 people that was projected to take 40 minutes but took two hours because of substitutions. Two people simultaneously messaging me, “that won’t work” “no that substitution won’t work” “look over in this aisle”. The customer WILL take their frustration out on you at the end. Then I decided to take another one because I’m a lunatic. 9 items, I thought “I can do that”. Subbed about 4 of the items, and the customer cancelled the order right before I was about to check out.

On the lookout for some new places to shop while my dog gets to people-watch. She’s very well behaved, no barking or anything. She stays in her stroller the whole time and just looks at things and accepts pets. Our usual hangout is Hobby Lobby but you can only buy so many craft things… what non-craft, non-hardware, and non-pet stores allow dogs in the east valley? No stores that sell food, no stores that quietly look the other way, and definitely no stores where people get away with saying “it’s a sErViCe DoG”. We do know about Bookmans also.

So I work in Texas and it's not very often we have really bad winter storms. If there is even a hint that there might be a bad winter storm, everybody and their mother starts buying from the grocery stores four or five days in advance. I got so much flack today for not being able to make substitutions for bottled water, for gallon size waters, for bread, for canned soups, for ramen soups, for chips, for cookies, and every other shelf stable food you can think of. I still can’t believe I’m typing these words. It’s been cold where I live. Usually around 0F when I wake up and leave for the day to start working. Does anyone know why shopping in-store the yellow coupons for own brand products don’t stack with your heb vpp discount? However, you can stack them when you’re placing a curbside order. For context, HEB has a coupon for 20% off on higher harvest products.

So the notification just popped up today about the new plant available and expansion of the greenhouse. The new plant (Whomping Willow) is an XL plant, but there only seems to be a space for one (see picture). Except it looks like you can have two of them, given that there’s one available in the Harvest Shop you can buy for gems, and one as part of a pack in the store that you can buy for real money. Am I missing a second planting spot (if so, could someone please screenshot where the other spot is), or can you really only get one of the plants?
