Hello everyone Just to let you all know that come the end of June. TGJones/WHSmith and the subsequent Post office situated in the store will be closing. We all have been made redundant. Our owners, Modella Capital, also purchased The Original Factory Shop on the towns Alloway street, and it has been closed down, it also had Claire’s Accessories which they didn’t keep open too. Soon everything will be getting reduced. POS signs will be up on the shelves soon.

I have two oddly specific things I recall seeing from my early 2000s childhood that no one seems to recall- 1- The Brook Road Wal-Mart had a candy store in the back. I have very vague memory of it but I would get so excited going to that specific Wal-Mart for the candy store over our usual Short Pump store that had McDonald's in the back. 2- The Broad/Parham McDonald's (across from Westland Shopping Center) had an indoor water fountain thing in. It was old and not working when I was a kid, so I'm sure it was a late 80s/90s remodel install that was not upkept. Anyone have any random/obscure tidbits they swear they remember but no one else does?

After years of development, I launched my game, Counter Tactics, on the App Store on April 8th. I found a used M4 Max, 64gb ram, 4tb SSD MacBook Pro at a Pawn shop today. Ran all the tests on it while in store and everything passed. Battery is at 92% max charge. It was priced at $1501. I was looking at a 4tb external drive too. Walked out the door with both for a total of $1501 including tax. Hard drive has less than 8 days of power on time, MacBook Pro is now registered to my Apple account and shows to have AppleCare through July of this year. I keep waiting for something to go wrong. But Cinebench ran great. Everything is as it should be. I'm so happy to be a part of this amazing community now!

My wife does most of the grocery shopping. She also loves grapes.
