**BANNED** from Walmart? My **Untold** Strategy for 90% Off **Clearance** Hauls (Daily $500 **Resell** Profit)

24m ago

Alright, MaximizeMe fam, let’s talk Walmart. The title's a little dramatic, I know – *was* I actually banned? Let's just say a certain manager and I had a… *disagreement* over my enthusiastic approach to clearance aisles. But hey, that led me to *really* hone in on a strategy that's been seriously paying off. For ages, we’ve all chased those legendary 90% off clearance scores, right? The holy grail of thriftiness. But it’s gotten tougher. Stores are smarter, inventory is tighter, and sometimes it feels like you’re just spinning your wheels. So, I had to dig deeper. It’s not just about *finding* the clearance; it’s about understanding the *system* behind it. ...

How I made a WooCommerce store AI-readable using UCP (Universal Commerce Protocol) and why it matters now

25m ago

If you haven't been following, Google and Shopify launched the Universal Commerce Protocol in January. It's the open standard that makes stores discoverable by AI shopping agents: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, etc. The problem for WooCommerce: Shopify merchants get native UCP support. WooCommerce has nothing out of the box. I spent the last few weeks building a WooCommerce plugin + data layer that handles the UCP transformation. Here's what it does: 1. Plugin reads your product data (variants, pricing, availability, images, metadata) 2. Structures it into UCP format 3. Serves it to any UCP-compatible AI agent The result: when someone asks ChatGPT "find me \[product in ...

I don’t believe in family curses

25m ago

I don’t believe in family curses. I always thought that was something out of bad movies, something superstitious people made up to blame for their own failures. My family was always normal. My dad, Joseph—Joe to his friends—was a retired engineer, a widower for fifteen years, a methodical man who labeled every box in the house. My mom died of cancer when I was a teenager, and after that, it was just us two in a quiet, respectful routine. I met Sophie eight months ago at a coffee shop near my work. She ordered a double espresso, and I spilled my cappuccino all over her table trying to grab a napkin. A complete disaster. She laughed—a clean, warm laugh—and said she’d forgive me if...

A game about catching tons of bugs and selling them in a shop run by parakeets (demo out now, feedback welcome)

27m ago

Hello everyone! My gf and I have been working on an incremental game, and we just released our demo! It's called **Budgie's Bug Shop**. It's about dragging squares with your cursor to catch bugs, then selling those bugs in a shop run by budgies (aka parakeets). We were inspired by how often we idly draw squares on our desktop background when we're bored. And our art style was inspired by some of our favorite Nintendo games from the mid 2000s, like Rhythm Heaven and the Wii Play fishing minigame. We've been playing incrementals for a while, but we've never made one before and we found it particularly tricky to pace things properly. So any feedback would be su...

Skyrim: A love letter

28m ago

When I first bought Skyrim in 2016 it was £2.50. I remember first starting it and I had problems with a magic wielder on a bounty quest at halted stream camp, I died several times. I asked to the air “please let this be a good game” as I was running out of favourable ‘new’ games to play on my Xbox 360. I returned to the beginning and became a Breton with high resistance to magic and completed that bounty with ease also now that I had gotten used to the game a bit. 180 hours of absolute joy it took me to complete that first playthrough. Then I had to buy the DLC’s. Which took me to 220 hours of playtime. I declared that Skyrim is one of the best games I've ever played. Fast ...

29m ago

I've been researching how AI shopping agents (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) handle product discovery, and the data gap is bigger than most merchants realize. What I found testing across 50+ stores: WITHOUT structured AI-readable data (UCP): \- AI agents either skip your products entirely or pull outdated/incorrect info \- Wrong pricing, missing variants, no images \- Agents default to Amazon, big-box retailers, or stores with proper [Schema.org](http://Schema.org) \+ UCP \- Product recommendations are generic text with no purchase path WITH UCP (Universal Commerce Protocol): \- AI presents rich product cards: real images, current pricing, ratings, stock status \- Intent matching...

Made all our wedding centerpieces with paper flowers and saved $2,400

31m ago

Okay, so this is going to sound absolutely unhinged, but I made 180 paper flowers for my wedding. By hand. And I regret absolutely nothing. Here's the backstory: My fiancé (now husband!) and I got engaged during the pandemic, and when we finally started planning our wedding for this past fall, the quotes from florists made me want to cry. $2,800 for centerpieces and bouquets? For flowers that would literally die the next day? I just couldn't do it. I'd always loved the idea of paper flowers, they're beautiful, you can keep them forever, and I thought how hard could it be? I started watching YouTube tutorials at like 2 AM, practicing with regular printer pa...

# By 2026, Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) has become the essential "survival tool" for Irish households. With the cost of living still a major factor and the fragmentation of sports rights (Sky Sports, TNT Sports, Premier Sports, and various streaming apps), an Irish sports fan could easily spend over €120 a month just to watch the matches.[ **SevenIPTV.com**](https://seveniptv.com/) has emerged as the definitive leader in 2026, offering rock-solid 4K stability, a massive VOD library, and excellent performance even during the busiest Premier League weekends. Do you shop at local store or buy online?

34m ago

I've had a FID for years but about to make my first purchase of a gun - looking at 1911. I've been shopping around at local stores to get a feel for the gun and also rented one to test out. My question is do you guys prefer to shop at your local store or do you try to find the best deal online at a reputable online shop? How many of you find value in having a relationship with a local gun store?

"Help me overcome my regret about a emotional purchase."

I bought a pair of shoes for my father from an offline store, but I didn't look at the bill at that time. However, when I got home, I didn't feel that the shoes were worth 1,300 rupees. I later checked with a nearby shoe shop and found that they had the exact same pair for only 600 rupees. I thought about returning the shoes I bought, but when I looked at the bill, I saw it stated (no exchange, no return). I'm feeling cheated, but I feel like there's nothing I can do about it. I know that losing 600–700 rupees isn't a huge deal for some people, and I can earn that amount back. I'm an overthinker, and this regret is eating me up inside. Please help me figure ou...

I've been testing how AI agents like ChatGPT and Gemini handle product recommendations, and the results are eye-opening for anyone running an ecommerce business. When a customer asks an AI "find me a hiking jacket under $150," the agent pulls from structured data. If your store doesn't serve machine-readable product data, you literally don't exist in that conversation. The AI defaults to Amazon or big-box retailers with proper data feeds. Google and Shopify launched the Universal Commerce Protocol in January - it's the open standard that makes stores AI-readable. Shopify merchants are getting native support. Gold Jewlery Help!

40m ago

Hey everyone! This is my first time buying gold/buying gold jewelry. I plan on buying some hoop earrings, maybe around 18k(or higher) , 1.5-2.5grams of gold. I’ve been looking around, 24k gold with 2.6g is around 4,000rmb and 2.4g with 18k is 3,500rmb. Any hints on what I should really be playing? Found some online, shopping just around the malls and name store brands. Any chance of being scammed (not the correct weight or gold % in a well known store name? Is there room for bartering?) how much should I really be paying? Just curious! (I was looking at the hoops in the middle of the case photo)

Seeking a support community? I feel so sad and guilty.

I have a diagnosed anxiety disorder and I am in therapy currently, I’ve struggled with agoraphobia since I was very young- and it’s got a chokehold on my life. I’m currently 25 and about to be married, my fiance understands my situation, I try to push myself when I can, but at times it’s just so pathetic. Yesterday I walked to the doctors by myself, it was a 30 minute walk, and it was so overwhelming. I had chewing gum, podcast to distract me, everything was fine, but the fear is so real. I did feel proud, but it’s just ****. I got home, my fiancé asked if I’d go shopping for us at the grocery store, which is about 4 minutes away. It’s very close, basically in our backyard...

Why do the clothes bought from Vinted always smell like ... that?

47m ago

They are always oddly musty, like they've been in a damp place for months. I always wash clothes anyway but I bought about 4 items last week, from different sellers, and every one of them smelled the same. Not offensive as such, but just kind of damp and unwashed. Maybe being stored in plastic wrapping and the temperature of the delivery vans create the perfect conditions for mustiness, but if I ever give to a charity shop I always wash something and leave it smelling fresh.

In my hometown there was a famous BBQ pioneer. He had great BBQ and even better pizza. I ate this when I was in College. He closed shop and moved to Austin and now all of his sauces are on the grocery store shelves. Chris Stubbs.

My first Gibson

This is a wild story I lived through in the 1990s. I was renting the top floor of an apartment building off Second Avenue and Third Street, just around the corner from the New York headquarters of the Hells Angels. I lived there for about thirteen years. In the late winter of 1997, the building next door was torn down to make room for a modern apartment complex. At the time, I was working in post-production, usually from 5:00 p.m. to about 5:30 a.m. When new buildings go up in New York, they drill deep pylons into the ground to support the foundation. Every time they drove one in, my whole apartment shook. That started at 7:30 a.m. daily—so after getting home around 4:00 or 5:30, ...
