This is outside the central embassy shopping mall in Bangkok. There’s a longer ramp that then U turns into the section with the Prada Store, but people logically decided to just cut across. Eventually, the mall caved and just put a stone pathway there.

It was suggested that I share this story here. This happened a while ago but every time i think about it, it puts a smile on my face. I went to the grocery store over the summer, on what was going to be a 90° day. As I walked up there was a gentleman (I'm assuming homeless) who greeted me. We shared pleasantries and then he asked if I would get him something to drink. He asked for a Mountain Dew, so I ran inside to grab that and a bag of M&Ms. I came back out to give these to him and wished him a good day before i went on with my own shopping. Im not looking for a gold star or anything, it just makes me happy that I could pay it forward to someone who needed it.

Hello all, new to this. I have a older CNC Router that has been running on a PC for the last decade. I use Fusion 360 for drafting and programming, but it will stop working on Windows 10 in January. My PC is old enough that I can't update it to Windows 11. I have a PCI port component that controls my FANUC CNC, but almost all store brand PC's come with PCIe. Which I'm pretty sure won't work? It looks backwards compared to PCI. I found a modern motherboard that includes a PCI port. I also found an adapter that changes a PCIe port into a PCI port. I don't know enough about PC hardware to know if the adapter would cause the FANUC card to not fit. I also do...
