I’m talking about material costs when you knit yourself **not** including labor! I’ve seen a lot of knitters say that the material only is more expensive than buying a finished garment and I’m genuinely confused. I’m not trying to be clever. Is yarn more expensive abroad? I can make a wool sweater with Drops yarn for $70 worth of material to buy a wool sweater with the same quality is $250-300. Where the **** is Monster Energy in Bahrain? I have looked everywhere! Supermarkets, small shops, 24-hour stores, and literally none of them have it, not even the original one. Red Bull is everywhere, but Monster just seems to have disappeared. I remember seeing Monster Energy in Ruyan Supermarkets a few months back, but since then nothing new. I do not get it. Well, last weekend they predicted 4-8 inches of snow. Everybody was in-store or having their groceries delivered. We ended up with freezing rain instead. Well, this weekend, they got it right. Hope everyone has enough leftover from last weekend's shopping frenzy. I'm not going anywhere.

I know they are widely available online and that Argos have them but was hoping for a shop where I could have a browse physically or maybe even try some on. Interested in Casio Vintage line as well as some G-Shocks. Chisholm Hunter sell some online but have none in their Union Square store - they are much more about the ££££ watches. I picked this up at a junk store, of all places, complete with guaranteed return policy if it doesn't work. Looks to be a 2019 i3 Mega from what I can tell. It had some filament stuck in the head when I got it but after I cleared that out everything seems to work fine. It's missing the filament spool holder but I made one out of wood. This Overture sticker on the glass plate is puzzling, though - the Z axis seems way off and print tests are practically melting as it squashes the layers down into each other. I have been reading an online argument in my home towns Facebook page. The town centre is totally pedestrianised, with a confusing one way system, expensive car parking and few parking spaces for blue badge holders. There are more and more empty units, and the pedestrianised area is full of beggars, escooters and bikes. Lots of people say they feel unsafe going there.
