This SX-70 was donated to the charity shop I work at (thrift store for you US people) with a pack of expired film, all in a box of other camera bits. I wasn't expecting it to work, considering that people don't often give us working tech - but I am so pleasantly surprised! I'd never even seen one of these before it came in, I had to watch a video on how to open it. It opened and closed so I went ahead and bought some film for it :) The setup was impromptu and not the best conditions: a tower of boxes to act as a tri-pod, big lights turned on and then a bright torch/flashlight pointed towards the subjects so they were lit up as bright as possible. I have an old Scholar production wheel, or should I say that is what I was told. I've had this wheel for over 20 years now and the last 5 of those years I had it stored in a heat and cooled place.
