I’m soooooooooo over the bullshit cart situation we have at my store. We only have about 50. Minus two for the cashier and back up, and another one for go backs. Lets say another two for pickups and another thats kept in the back. 44 carts for a store that averages anywhere from $80k to $90k on Saturday and Sundays. I saw a new therapist recently for my phobia and OCD as I’m seeking help with exposure therapy. A couple things he said felt off to me and I’m trying to decide if it’s going to be a good match or not and was wondering what y’all thoughts were. First, he said that when I do an exposure I should not do anything that might comfort me or “self soothing” behaviors while doing it. He used an example of if I went to a shopping mall alone and wanted to get a piece of chocolate, that I can’t do that because then that would negate my whole exposure bc eating it would make me “feel good”. I honestly thought this was quite odd because I had a therapist before who advised the opposite....
