I’m currently in college, and job-seeking, and would love to secure a spot at a gun counter or even better at a gun store for an in college job I could maintain through school. I’ve always loved firearms obviously, and feel like I have a pretty good basis of knowledge surrounding them, with personal emphasis on milsurp and the current AR/AK game. In my area there is a Rural King (******* awesome prices), and several other hunting stores, along with multiple gun stores about a 40 minute drive away. I have been doing some deliveries on the weekends and have done 27 deliveries over the course of the month since I started. I have had one person rate me at all. No 5 stars, no 1 star...nothing. I have a bag to keep the food hot and I have a 100% completion rate and 100% on-time rate. I communicate on the app when orders are delayed, let the customers know when I'm on my way. I don't do any store shopping orders yet, so maybe those customers would rate me? So how do I go about generating ratings? And does it even really matter that much?

My phone decided to unalive itself at some point from hitting exit pass and getting the groceries into the car. Is it just me or is this becoming a real nuisance?!? I had two shoppers run into me in the isles with their huge carts. I got trapped with one thinking they get the right of way. Where are their manners? I understand people that are immunocompromised and shop this way it not their fault and I'm glad they have this option. That's not what this post is about. The store managers need to train these workers that the customer comes first! It makes me want to go elsewhere. Oh and leaving while getting stared down by ogling security guards is not a good experience.

So after doing a little bit of research and asking, which one would be the best go get at these price points? I have the PS Portal that I might get rid of and I also just purchased the Nintendo Switch 2 which is amazing but would be nice to get another handheld better for PC games and all of that. I've been trying to help my mother get out of Virgin Media broadband for the past year. We've been long out of contract, paying a premium rate which is again due to go up in a few months. Since last year we have not been able to get connection sufficient enough to play any videos at all, on the 1st floor of the house. I work at HomeGoods, and during the holidays especially, checkout and return lines have been getting out of control. A big part of the problem is customers buying very large amounts of items at once. When multiple people are checking out with 10+ items, lines stretch across the store and everything slows to a crawl. Managers can’t instantly add staff, so they pull associates from departments to help ring, which means recovery, rugs, bedding, food, and other sections fall behind. Then after the rush, workers are expected to “catch up” like nothing happened. Years ago I worked at an Asda. Over about a year and eight months, there were three separate occasions where someone shat in the aisles. Just in the shop itself. They were spaced out fairly evenly over that time. One was accidental but the other two were full on pants down, crouch and **** operations.
