During the last few days of our trip, we took a 1.5-hour train ride from Tokyo to Yokosuka. As a huge Shenmue fan (especially the first game), I felt like I had to go. I am not usually one to shop at a store really frequently, so I rarely run into a situation where employees recognize me as a regular and have a level of friendly familiarity with me. However, the employees at my local Lush store (who are lovely) do recognize me and very much treat me as a friend when I come in.
