Any recommendations on where to buy vintage/estate/antique jewelry? Good pawn shops, etc. I am looking for a men’s wedding band for my soon to be husband and I am not loving what I’m seeing at jewelry stores!

So - with the high population density of NYC, you'd think that the market for used kid and baby clothes and stuff would be easy to access and plentiful - but as far as I can find from my searching, there are very very few consignment shops that specialize in kids stuff! Yes, I'm in my local Buy Nothing group, go to my local swap that happens every few months, and peruse FB Marketplace, but sometimes it's nice to go physically shop, and it seems like there are hardly any options if you want secondhand. Anyone know of general thrift stores in NYC that have great kids' sections, or anything else I might be missing?

They have cheaper prices than Watsons but they aren’t “Shopee Mall” so I’m not sure if they are legit.

So I just bought my first pair of Hoka shoes from an online shop in my country that I used before without issues. Hoka Skylline Float X. I usually wear either 42 2/3 or 43 1/3 depending on brand so when I try a new brand I like t try the bigger size first but since they only had size 42 2/3 Eu size (size 9 US) in all black I ordered that size. I instead received a pair of 44 2/3 (10.5). Naturally at first I wanted to return them but because they didn't felt that much bigger than my normal shoes I decided to try them and they actually felt good on my feet. On that site they usually write for different brands or models that the number written is 43 for example but that they are 42 or 44...

So, this one is a bit niche. As a primarily one-man show I have to manage tons of stuff. One of those is my shop/props storage/furniture storage facility. We're in the woods, and as such rodents, bugs and moisture are a constant issue. I have purchased a variety of "vacuum" bags to store soft goods, drapes, mattress, etc, and none of them will stay sealed longer than a few days or a week tops, and the large they are the worse they seal. My big drive for use the vacuum bags is to maximize storage space, especially for things like memory foam mattresses and the like. Industrial vacuum heat sealers are prohibitively priced, so I was wondering if anyone else that has to deal...

I have read that the sales tax on purchases in Anniston at the South Store is 10%. Ouch. I thought our 8.25% where I live was high. Looks like it's only 7% in Ohio at the North Store, and no sales tax on mail orders unless you live in Ohio or Alabama. I guess this is just something you have to deal with if you choose to shop at the South Store....tradeoff for getting to hand pick your own rifle(s). Still seems steep, not that CMP has anything to do with setting the tax rate.

I have several tanks but I’ve been having issues with my 10g freshwater tank, specifically. Last week during a partial water change I moved all of my live plants into my quarantine tank because I’ve had a bloom that has lasted at least a full month. The plants are still thriving and I’ve put fake plants in the 10g to provide extra hides for the inhabitants. The 10g shown here has 4 glowfish tetras, one Corey, and one Nettie snail. I have a 40g that I can move some of the bioload into if the tank is over populated.
