I couldn't pass up the opportunity to buy this beauty. This is a regular black Pilot Custom 743 from 2001. What makes it special is a very rare ES-M (Extra Soft Medium) nib. I got it from an auction, but it was originally sold at Itoya store in Japan. This nibs are exclusive to this specific shop and the don't sell them anywhere else. The marking of ES-M is a bit misleading, as it only marks the nib it was made from, not tha actual nib size. The nib I have is not soft somehow, even though it is supposed to be made from a soft nib.
