They have 2 fully functional grocery stores in Seward, Alaska. Why is the trip to Costco so important? Her Fiance' works near the Costco, can't he stop on his way home and pick up items that are needed? Or is the hotdog and soda THAT important? Also, by the time they pack up 3 children, travel 2 hours each way to go there, spend money on gas for the trip and buy the few groceries or items they WANT wouldn't it be less expensive to just shop at the Safeway? I find here in Florida the butcher counters at most grocery stores are incredibly inconsistent on beef quality and USDA Choice/Prime has become pretty meaningless.
