So I have had an etsy account for 18 years and when I first started I opened a shop, sold one thing, then decided I didn't have time for it at that point and closed it. Now that I have more time on my hands, my husband and I have been selling at craft fairs for 3 years and I think I am finally ready to start listing things online also. Asking on behalf of my dad; he has a varied background as a supermarket store assistant and delivery driving. I know the job market is hard out there, but it would be nice for him to earn something a little bit more than minimum wage. He says he’s passed it because of ageism, but I still have hope for him. Education and skills wise - went college, but did nothing with that qualification (not even sure what it was). Has always just worked in shop, supermarkets or food places. I had two gift cards that were recently given to me very unexpectedly. I normally stick to staples and products I know work for me, but decided to use the 20% today to grab a few things I want to try. I got a sample of the Haus Labs concealer and loved the formula. I have heard such great things about the Dior foundation as well. Can’t wait to try the others out and not feel guilty for spending my hard earned money, lol. Curious what others do at the grocery store or other public place when your toddler loses their **** and throws a full blown tantrum? My almost 3 year old lost his mind at Walmart for 30 minutes because I told him he couldn't have candy. I tried holding him, putting him in the cart, letting him chill for a minute, etc. I ended up saying screw it and strapped him into the cart and finished my shopping while he screamed. I could have given him candy or my phone, but I am not about rewarding that behavior. I did get a few dirty looks and definitely some sympathy from other moms. Now I am doom scrolling and drinking a diet coke while he takes a nap because I have had it with the day!
