Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Nordstrom Latest Community Discussions About NordstromTipping question1h agoQ1: Do those of you who engage in no tipping have any places you frequent, where the servers or bartenders know you by name greet you, high five, hug, give you free drinks etc? Do you no-tip them? I ask because I frequent a couple locations and have known people for years, they are like friends, they do extra things for me, like bringing in food to share, 'forgetting' to put a drink I had on the bill, filling over the fill line, etc. And I wonder how this is viewed by the end tipping community. Q2: Also I had a thought experiment the other day. I went into this bottle shop and bought something I can't normally get down in these parts. He's been chatty before and we ha... Interesting.1h agoI make money on MakerWorld. Here is when Germany stops calling it a hobby.1h ago# tl;dr This is a long, experience based writeup from Germany. Not a quick hack, not legal advice, and not optimized for short attention spans. In Germany, MakerWorld profits are taxable. Stay hobby sized and below break even, or go fully compliant as a business. Anything in between will cause problems sooner or later. # Here is a very German topic: taxes. If you are not from Germany, you can read the following, shake your head, smile a little, or briefly reflect on how these things are handled in your own country. If you receive more value from MakerWorld in vouchers or cash payouts than your hobby realistically costs, the tax office considers this a business. Even if you never r... What is it with the Costco Trip?1h agoThey have 2 fully functional grocery stores in Seward, Alaska. Why is the trip to Costco so important? Her Fiance' works near the Costco, can't he stop on his way home and pick up items that are needed? Or is the hotdog and soda THAT important? Also, by the time they pack up 3 children, travel 2 hours each way to go there, spend money on gas for the trip and buy the few groceries or items they WANT wouldn't it be less expensive to just shop at the Safeway? I mean, not sure about anyone else, but my time and sanity (traveling with 3 children) is worth something. What do you all think about the new update to the metrics ? Good or bad1h agoMost consistent place to buy good quality beef?1h agoI find here in Florida the butcher counters at most grocery stores are incredibly inconsistent on beef quality and USDA Choice/Prime has become pretty meaningless. Obviously it’s up to me on visual inspection of marbling, etc… but it’s hard to do so when the options aren’t great. Where do you guys normally shop? Looking for feedback for my new online store, a museum inspired curated shop.1h agoI just launched my store this last Saturday and would like a review of my store: [https://shopmaidengoods.com/](https://shopmaidengoods.com/). The concept of my store is a curated, museum inspired shop that features items made in small quantities by independent brands and small makers from around the world. Basically my shop revolves around slow fashion/retail and discovery. I would like to note, eventually, I will be adding more items from different countries. I would love to have feedback on: * First impressions - What do you think this store is? * Clarity of concept * Product Pages * Navigation and Flow * Anything that might seem confusing or not right. Thank you in advance. Thinking of doing my own Virtual Band!1h agoI’ve been always inspired by Gorillaz, the bands lore, and the stories within the music videos. So it sparked up an idea that I should start my own virtual world. I know it takes time and extreme dedication to be anywhere near Gorillaz’ level. But the lore I came up with for this band idea I have, is like none other. And thus, F.R.E.N.Z.Y. Was born. A little sneak peak of the lore: An evil magician put a curse onto the band after she was caught stealing out of the pockets of the lead singer, Ace, and when they trapped her in the dark alleyway, she had a last ditch attempt, using a curse on the group that gives them extraordinary abilities. Preventing them from aging as well, they w... I hadn’t had a MallWorld dream in years, but the last 3 nights I’ve been there…1h agoWhich led me to just now finding this sub… I’m happy to visit MW again, it’s always an interesting time there even if it’s occasionally mischievous, or more rarely… creepy… I live in a rural area these days and haven’t even been to a mall in many months. To sum up the most recent one I just woke up from… I was stuck in a section on the 4th floor of the mall. I had initially been with some old friends from Jr. High/HS but we kinda eventually split off and went our separate ways… While wandering, I won about $1k in cash at one of the many slot machine stations on the 3rd floor. I was trying to return to a comic and collectible store on the 4th floor I had visited with the gr... Big NSV1h agoAs Ive hit the 50+lbs loss, Ive noticed a slow down in my rate of loss. To be expected as you have less to lose but it hurts the motivation so NSVs have become all the more important. Yesterday, my husband and I went shopping. We were looking for a piece of furniture and went to a very large, local antique store to look for something unique. At a fairly brisk browsing pace, it takes at least an hour to get through...more if you're really looking. In the end we didn't find what we wanted but after almost an hour and a half, my husband said to me, this was the first time in a couple of years we had been able to make it through the whole store without me having to stop or leave becau... Will the wood effect the feeling and sound of an acoustic guitar significantly?1h agoI'd love to buy a new acoustic guitar but I don't know if I prefer the Takamine GD11MCENS or Takamine GN11MCE NS. First one is a dreadnought the other one has the smaller "NEX" shape/waist, both mahagony. I haven't played either... So I would like to play them to see if they actually fit me and my voice. I don't want to buy them online to just test them so I called the next music store but they don't have the NEX-guitar in magagony. Instead they have the Takamine GN20CE NS which is made of cedar. The woman on the telefon said, the wood won't make any difference to the sound and I could take the cedar one instead, as long as the shape is the same. &q... fetch! scan receipts for money! and games!1h agouse code DQJ6MJ for 2000 points after scanning first receipt! Do you think this setup will still be okay tjis 2026? My plan is to use it for n8n automation workflows and my paralegal courses. I also need to handle some short-form video editing for our growing channel, plus some light gaming like Roblox for my younger brother as libangan I found this unit at Janstore for around 29k. I’m leaning towards it because I’m not that confident about getting a PC with a 7500F and a 9060xt anymore. PC xPC CShop has that specific PC build for 65k, which seems to be the lowest price available. Even with a 30k downpayment, the installment plan feels like a bit of a str... Built an MCP server for Telegram after none of the existing ones clicked for me1h agoTried a bunch of MCP servers and tools for getting notifications from my AI agents. Slack integrations, Discord bots, custom webhook setups. Tried other Telegram MCPs too. Even tried remote tools like Omnara for cloud IDE communication. None of them clicked. Either too complicated, only worked with one IDE, cluttered context with 10 different tools, required local network access, or the agent just... didn't use them right. So I wrote my own. Telegram MCP. **What makes it different:** You tell the agent "communicate with me using Telegram MCP" and you're done. That's it. All the instructions for how to use it properly — when to wait for replies, how to structure ... The "No-BS" 2026 Shanghai Survival Guide: Technical Runbook from a Local Ex-SRE Dad1h agoHey r/ChinaTravel! I’m Miles. Before becoming a full-time stay-at-home dad, I spent 12 years as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), keeping complex systems from crashing 24/7. I’ve lived in Shanghai for 13 years, and I know exactly how overwhelming this city’s "operating system" can be for outsiders. If you’re planning a trip for 2026, here is the most detailed, "system-hardened" guide to help you bypass the glitches and enjoy my city. # 📡 1. Connectivity: Avoid "Single Point of Failure" * **Primary Choice: Roaming eSIM**: Buy an eSIM (like Airalo or 3HK) *before* you fly. It bypasses the Great Firewall natively—Gmail, WhatsApp, and IG just work... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
