Back then, I used to go to local card shops, but many of them went out of business in my area. Currently only options in my area are the really “scalper” vibe shops, the ones that only want to buy singles thatre $100+, only for store credit. This situation got real weird real fast lol. Yesterday, I went into my shop manager and saw that I had received an order. Hello, my mom is in need of a new laptop. She will mostly be paying bills, browsing the internet, and shopping. She also does taxes during tax season but all of the programs she uses are cloud based and she stores everything in Google Drive so storage isn't an issue. She tends to be pretty rough on everything so I don't want to get her anything too expensive but it also can't be flimsy. She will also only use a Windows OS. Long time "Cataclysm: The Last Generation" player, needed something else to scratch the same itch, that is also fantasy, and found it in an unexpected place, at least to me: FrogComposband. I did try Angband, before but it didn't click, Faangband almost did. Always thought FrogComposband was not a serious fork (don't ask me why, wrong impression) until I stumbled upon a screenshot, Then I tried it, and immediately fell in love.
