Hello, Recently, I bought a new iPhone 17. About two or three weeks later, I was outside for roughly 30 minutes in very cold weather, around -21°C (-6°F). My iPhone was in my jacket pocket the whole time. Upon entering a warm building, the screen became foggy with condensation, which is normal, but a huge red spot appeared around the Dynamic Island cutout. I use an airtag in an elderly parent's vehicle/purse who often makes 20-30 mile trips on the freeway to go shopping and have had an Airtag 1 in their car and purse for the last few years.
