Got really depressed.1h agoPeople say it's most likely 'rosy retrospection', but I am not convinced. The mall I grew up going to in the early 90's thrived and was a center for everyone to be. The businesses flourished and people were so kind. Now, I walk the same mall and the stores I once knew are long gone. There are long stretches of shuttered empty husks where my favorite places used to be. Now, pop up shops of third company labubu's take the place and other business ventures that last three to six months. The food court, that was once home to my favorite places to eat, is now filled with rotating businesses that either last a couple months or just fail to launch completely. There was a si... I’m not sure what it is, but I took it to an independent shop and a dealer. The independent shop found a knocking noise coming from the drive shaft, rear CV joint. I then took it to the dealer because I’m under warranty and have 44,000 miles on the car. The dealer told me the noise was coming from the transmission side and that I needed to pay for another diagnostic to look further. I ended up paying the dealer $270. I’ve been searching online for help, but I’m not sure what the problem is. I’ve never... Store pick ups.1h agoWith local skate shops retailing tomorrow for the kost part how long do we anticipate the FCFS lines will be? Also anybody in KC picking up in store, trynna see how early I need to be up 👀 [Question] Help me decide1h agoHey guys, would appreciate your input. Stopped by Tissot today…main goal was to try the PRX 38mm. The dial is stunning, but I’m not gonna lie, I’m still not fully sold on how the integrated bracelet feels on wrist. Might just be something I need to get used to. Also tried the Gentleman 38 out of curiosity. The bracelet had quite a bit of play, felt a bit rattly, and overall not as solid as I was expecting. Next stop another large watch store. Didn’t manage to try the white dial Speedtimer (which is the one I’m really interested in), so I had to go with what they had in store. That said, it looked fantastic on wrist and definitely wears smaller than the 39mm would suggest. What... CONFIRMED: “Bi-Lo” Coles at 162a High Street Belmont permanently closing 21st June 20261h agoIt’s finally been confirmed. The Coles at 162a High Street Belmont, once a Bi-Lo supermarket before it was converted into Coles in the mid-2000s, is permanently closing on 21st June 2026 to make way for a newer, bigger Coles on the same site. Signs aren’t up on the building yet given it’s only 2 months away but staff at the store have this week confirmed the closure date, I’d expect those to start going up next month. This will mark the end of a duo Coles in the Belmont area, with another Coles also operating down the road at the Belmont Village Shopping Centre. That one will remain open whilst the new store up the road is being built. Once that’s completed and it’s ready to ope... I got my first PlayStation but I’m afraid I’m being scammed—HELP? Please read!!1h agoOkay so I bought a new PlayStation from a shop with really good reviews (almost 4.9/5, and some Redditors recommended it too). I was in a bit of a rush and the shopkeeper seemed honest and knowledgeable. He also gave a good price (better than other stores I visited), so I decided to buy it. We were in a hurry, so we just opened it there, connected it to the TV, and I brought it home thinking I’d do the full setup later. Anyways long story short I properly opened the box after a few hours and randomly decided to match the console’s serial number with the one on the box—and THEY DIDN’T MATCH. The second last digit is different while everything else is exactly the same. Mtlb pura seri... Chain offer worth getting?1h agoCouldn’t care less about the skin but would it be worth to spend the gems for the rewards? For the love of Annie's Goddess dressing1h agoI just went went to get some sushi at the local gourmet corner store that is ridiculously over priced. They didn’t have the sushi I wanted but the chef saw me looking longingly at the case and said he was making another roll which sounded pretty good so I waited for it. As I was waiting I wandered the store, looking at all the overpriced but delicious items. No one in their right mind would do their regular shopping there so items sit on the shelf longer than in most stores. Then I saw it, like a beacon of light, a bottle clad in the purest shimmering samite, sitting aloft on the high shelf in aisle 4 signifying by divine providence that tahini truly is the holy sauce, the no-longer-in-pro... One memory I have is that it was placed at the mouth of the hallway that led from the mall to the stairs that took you down to the bowling alley, like the impulse candy rack at the grocery store. checkout. My first Sinn1h agoTLDR: liked the watch, bought the watch, thrilled with the watch. I’ve been a fan of simplistic tool/field watches for a while. I really enjoy that minimalistic style, and with my lifestyle a field watch is ideal. I really liked the Hamilton Khaki Murph and the Tudor Ranger; however, I wanted something a little more under the radar than the Murph and a little less expensive than the Ranger. I first learned about Sinn watches while researching the history of the Navitimer. While perusing the website, I saw the 556 lineup and was very intrigued. It fit the bill of what I was looking for very well: more “in the know” than the Murph, but easier on the wallet compared to the Tudor. I kno... [printing] how do I make art prints?1h agoI want to turn my charcoal art into prints. Some of them are pretty big (18"x24") so I'm worried about my stuff being too big to scan. Im under the impression what I want is to find a shop that has a 600+ dpi scanner and make prints there (maybe ups store? Im going to call around) or put them on a usb drive to have printed elsewhere on good quality paper. How exactly does this process work? I'm mostly asking about the scanning of the physical art. I don't have a good camera so scanning is the way I want to go Me and my husband made a cozy game about breeding and selling worms! It's called Wormies1h agoWormies is a cozy shop simulator game where you run your own wormie shop! Customers will come and order wormies from you and you have to fulfill their orders to progress through different storylines with them :) You also have to breed different wormies together to discover new ones, so there's a little bit of a puzzle element too! We've been working on the game for about 8 months now as a 2 person team with a few artists commissioned to help with the in game customer profile pictures. You can find Wormies on Steam: [https://store.steampowered.com/app/4058290/Wormies/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/4058290/Wormies/) Your Shopify Store Is Already Inside ChatGPT2h agoSomething happened to your Shopify store last week and there’s a good chance you didn’t notice. On March 24, 2026, Shopify activated Agentic Storefronts across all eligible accounts — quietly, by default, with no setup required. Your products are now searchable and shoppable inside ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google AI Mode, and Gemini. The rollout was opt-out, not opt-in. If you haven’t checked your admin yet, you’re almost certainly already live inside AI conversations happening right now.
