Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Marshalls Latest Community Discussions About MarshallsA shop management life sim where people matter more than numbers (or do they?)3h ago**Hi everyone!** I’m working on an indie game called **Shop Crush**: a narrative-driven shop management/life sim. You run a small thrift store. Every day you open the shop, manage a limited supply and money, interact with customers, and try to survive financially. But instead of simple NPCs, every customer has personal **obsessions**, **emotions** towards you, and **unique shopping patterns**. There is also a mystery element woven into the routine, revealed through environmental details and unusual interactions. To uncover the truth, you solve surreal **Literal Illusion** puzzles. It’s a special puzzle with an image inside and image. *(Illusions are made with the help of Think Diffus... How to find the best verified discount codes for UK shopping?3h agoI’ve been trying to be much more careful with my monthly budget lately, especially when it comes to online shopping for clothes and tech gadgets. It is so frustrating to find a great deal only to realize the coupon has already expired once you reach the checkout page. Recently, I started using **PromoPro UK** to double-check for active vouchers before I complete any purchase. It has been incredibly helpful for finding working deals for various UK-based retailers and international stores. My main tip for everyone in this community is to always look for a student discount first, but if that is not an option, a quick search on **PromoPro UK** usually saves me at least 10% or 15% on the total... I just released the free demo for my Automation Roguelike Vena!3h agoHey guys, solo dev here. I finally released the demo for my game [Vena ](https://store.steampowered.com/app/4202120/Vena_Demo/)on Steam and wanted to share it with you. I’ve put a lot of heart and soul into the development and I'm proud how the demo turned out The game is basically Factorio-style automation condensed into a roguelike structure. You build complex resource produce chains on a hex grid with the goal to get the resources to the center. You draft your buildings from the shop and can follow certain strategies by hunting for tiles in the shop. There is a wide variety of tiles in the game which means there are endless possibilities and synergies to be discovered and every ru... Found this in side a dest at this Clarence store today3h agoIf you don’t know what Macy’s Clarence is it’s pretty much where they sell overstock and store fixtures that they don’t need anymore Living in the pocket between strip & spring valley3h agoRecently got laid off and considering moving here (family of 4 - young kids). It's the area flanked by Chinatown and 215 vertically and Spring Valley and the Strip horizontally. Surface level discovery makes it seem like very multicultural - lots of ethnic restaurants, boba shops, a mosque and artisan stores. Wondering what the catch is? Looks like it offers great diversity, proximity to the strip and airport. Have visited Vegas several times for work but never lived longer than a week or two. SoCal born and raised. Has anyone lived in this area and can offer real insights? Just struggling a little3h ago5 and a half ish years sober. I drank daily for about 15-20 years, with things worsening during the pandemic. I grew up in a household with alcoholism and I swore to myself I'd never drive drunk. The way I accomplished that was never acquiring my driver's license. I moved out of major city and got sober around the same time and not being able to drive just got to me- being reliant on other people for everything, the inconvenience of having to get a ride or get things delivered etc I got my license in October of last year and I've been doing ok mostly, but a couple of times in the grocery store I've been tempted. Like, I live alone- no one would have to know? Today ... Buying Men's Jewelry.. Where??3h agoI want to buy my fiancé some jewelry as he's recently gotten more into styling himself. He has a silver chain, a watch, and the silicone engagement ring (works with his hands but I'm thinking of custom designing a wedding ring for him!) I know he wants a rolex and loves the black van cleef bracelet but I am not rocking with that kind of money right now 😭😂 We have a Midwest emo vibe and I really want to find something to fit this aesthetic. Maybe a bracelet? Or I love seeing the layered chains with a pendant so I might look for something like that? Any recommendations in terms of shops or online stores? I'm hoping to surprise him but have no idea where to start 😭... Steve Martin always makes me happy, with his writing advice and other pure drivel3h agoOne of my favorite comedians and certainly one of my favorite comedian writers is Steve Martin, so I was excited recently when he released a 2025 compilation of some of his best stories. *Steve Martin Writes the Written Word: Collected Written Word Works* is a great place for people unfamiliar with Martin’s writing to start, but I was a little let down that it’s basically just the best of *Pure Drivel*, plus a few other short essays, and his novellas *Shopgirl* and *The Pleasure of My Company*. Nothing from 1977’s classic 1977 *Cruel Shoes* is included. So I already have most of this new book (and more) on my shelf. That said, Martin is one of those writers who I love to read ... Time to wrap it up with day 43-45 of 453h ago(1)Golden Age Beverages bottled by the Grandpa Joe’s Soda Works from the Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop location of Spring Lake Park, MN. Medium light carbonation not really a negative for me. A bit of a syrupy texture and relying on cane sugar sweetness while staying fairly mellow. About a B rating for me. There is also a Founding Flavors Root Beer available for shipping through a small store I found on the Shop Ap https://sweetvintagetees.com/search?q=root+beer+soda&options%5Bprefix%5D=last (2)Alameda Soda Company Oaktown Root Beer- proclaiming to be the favorite craft fountain soda of the California Bay Area. I was just trying to shop some Natasha Denona pallettes as I like how smoothly they apply, and I was drawn to a lot of really cute pinks and things in pan. when I saw them swatched they all had an undertone to them to make them look more natural on the skin, if that makes sense. If I'm buying a palette with a shimmery pink, I want a shimmery PINK. I'm somebody who dyes my hair quite often, and I want to match my makeup to the bright colours in my hair. I end up with a lot of "rainbow" pallettes in my collection but I don't find them the best quality, and... Your Turn to Plan a Trip!3h agoAlright, pretend you're on Potomac and it's your turn to host a cast trip. Give us the details! Where are you taking the ladies, What time of year? How are we getting there? Where are we staying and how long? Activities?! Intentions? Have some fun with it! My trip would be maybe my second season in and filming during the summer, July specifically. We'd be flying to Calgary, Alberta for the Calgary Stampede! Since I was born there and have family there, the ladies would get a glimpse into a deeper part of my life and into my culture. I think 5 nights 6 days would suffice for my plans! Day 1: Fly in and arrive at rental property, with enough bedrooms for all the ladies to ... Jesus Christ3h agoI just want a pair of pants man... between the exchange rate of GBP to CAD, and the taxes and duty it turns a £95 pair of pants (already kinda a good chunk of change) into a $262 pair WITH 10% off. Canada Computers Rant4h agoThis rant is two sided. First of all, I work there. I'll be the first to admit the company can **** at times and that it's incredibly weird that depending on where you shop (if it's in person) you can get such a wildly different experience. I'll also admit, I find the online website data breach absolutely ridiculous coming from a company of this scale. But with working at one of their stores, comes the horrible feeling I've been having seeing everyone online basically constantly shitting on CC, when I know it's entirely possible to get a great experience in several stores. It really ***** and has genuinely made me want to leave the Canadian PC community alt... Starbucks near Pavilions in WeHo is closing.4h ago**West Hollywood Starbucks in Rainbow District is Closing After Several Decades of Service** The Starbucks location at the busy corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Robertson Boulevard in West Hollywood is set to close next week, according to multiple employees, marking the latest shutdown of the brand in the Rainbow District after several decades of service. Employees at the store, located at 8969 Santa Monica Blvd., said they have been told the coffee shop will close either Wednesday or Thursday. While workers said there is a possibility the company could seek a short extension, they were informed the closure is definite. The reasons for the shutdown have not been disclosed. Employees s... Guess I don’t wanna help?4h agoI was shopping at an outdoor/home goods store one day & on my way to the bathroom, an older man had just entered the store & thought I worked there. He waved his newspaper ad at me and asked, “popcorn machine?” I was a little caught off guard so I said, “uhhh…” and he says, “do you work here?” And I say, “No sorry I don’t work here, I wish I could help you!” He says, “I can’t see why you would.” Well dang, ok I felt bad I couldn’t help you, but I guess he knows how I feel better than I do lol used phone and google account4h agolong story short i bought a used LG phone from a pawn shop to play music where i work they told me they were obligated to tell me that the phone had been sim locked but the wifi worked ok. i created a new google account on my pc at home. when i want to login on my phone to download youtube app on the play store, at the "add a phone number?" screen, nothing works.
