I’d like to hear from anyone who might be in a similar situation? Or any advice in general. I am a 25 year old male. I’m still a virgin and haven’t even “talked” to a girl romantically since high school. I don’t have any issues talking to women in my day to day life normally though. I also don’t really have any self confidence issues or social issues. I have a small friend group that I love (most of my friends are married now and I get along with their wives just fine). I feel like more and more people around me in my age range are in committed relationships and getting engaged/married. I’m extremely happy with my life and content but I do feel like I’m missing out... Free World’s Creamiest Hummus?2h agoI saw this with the tag “New” but when I logged in, it disappeared. I don’t have any of the listed stores except for Target, so I figured this was for a different area. Maybe someone on here can try it! Is this a good brand? Any toxic chems or synthetics I should be concerned about?2h agoTRULY UNIQUE Stores for mid-range shopping2h agoHi all! Going to Paris for a few days in May. I haven't been in almost 10 years, so I'm SUPER excited. I live in NYC, so I have access to lots of good shopping and stores. I feel like it takes a lot to impress me, and I'm often disappointed when going to other US cities because we have the same shops in NYC. What are some retail stores, mainly women's clothing or jewelry, that are truly unique to Paris? AKA French brands that you can't get in the US? I'm not interested in super expensive luxury (ex: Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Chanel, etc), or French brands we have here (Sezane, Maje, Rouje, Zadig, Sandro). Not very interested in vintage either. I've foun... Where are my neighbors going every evening?2h agoI am just stumped and genuinely curious! So I have neighbors who drive off every evening together around 6:00 or 6:10pm and return 20-30 minutes later like clockwork. I know this because we eat dinner in the kitchen around that time and can clearly see them come and go. I want to know what they’re up to without asking them outright, like the honest friendly totally not creepy neighbor I am. Some important notes: \- It’s a townhouse neighborhood. \- They are a male-female married couple, no kids, two cats, probably late 30s, mostly work from home. \- They are not dressed for exercise. No clear particular choice of clothing type, usually just casual wear. \- There are no gyms, assiste... And I’m done!2h agoEnded up placing two orders, but I’m happy with my haul. The ilia stick foundation was a bit of an impulse purchase, but I remember liking it when I tested it last year! [TOMT][FANFIC] Stupidly good horror/romance dsmp fic i cannot find for the life of me2h agoOk so some years ago I was obsessed with dsmp, and would read a bunch of fics about it. One was this dream/George (cringe I know) fic that was basically George finding this old game in a thrift shop and its a dating sim but when he plays something is deeply wrong with all the characters. Like they were all distorted and glitchy. The pet shop in the game is like raided, and there's dead things all over. I remember bits and pieces of the beginning, like how he picked an “i dont know” option for interest in gender, and something about dream basically being like a glitch in the game. IDK. It was either on wattpad or AO3, but I cant remember. This is pretty much a last resort, as I... Garrett popcorn 1 week from the shop vs grocery store?2h agoI am traveling to Korea soon and I am considering getting Garrett popcorn as a gift for friends. But I do not meet them after a week of arriving. If I can’t get them fresh popcorn, would it be better to just get it from the grocery store? Or should I buy the cans at the airport, and it will be fine since they are sealed? Being perceived as suspicious in public/being profiled2h agoAny other non-white people with CPTSD struggle with this?! I find myself being profiled at stores lately. I know how their tactics work because I work at a retail store, and this happens to me at other locations in the same chain. I already feel unsafe being alone in public, but when I’m being watched it starts a feedback loop of me trying not to seem suspicious and looking even more nervous until I leave. I had intense heart palpitations after grocery shopping yesterday. I **** corporations so much. Stop Guessing With Your Smile: The 2026 High-Tech Guide To Faster Orthodontics At SMILE-FX®2h ago### The "Apple Store" Effect: Why South Florida's Orthodontic Standards Just Changed Most people think braces are a commodity. They think "a bracket is a bracket" and "a dentist is a dentist." **They’re wrong.** If you’re navigating the South Florida orthodontic scene—Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Miramar—you’re likely seeing the same thing: flashy ads, confusing timelines, and "big box" dental networks that treat you like a number instead of a patient. I did a deep dive into the industry, and it turns out there’s a massive divide between the "stock" approach and the "engineered" approach. Here is what you need to kno... Cheap/Affordable PC components2h agoHello fellow gamers, just want to check which store or online shop do you recommend because their PC components is cheap or affordable i know ram and gpu is not one of those, so ill just plan to buy these 2 for secondhand Dealing with new parts on my IPhone2h agoI have an IPhone 16 pro max with 512 gb. Unfortunately, it was run over in October. Apple offered to replace it for $875. After paying $1,450 on purchase from T Mobile (I did get a $810 credit from them, which is showing up as a credit on my T Mobile bill over the next 24 months), I didn’t feel like paying the $875. I bought the parts needed on EBay for $250 and brought it to Chiangmai, Thailand to get a reputable shop to rebuild it. It was rebuilt for $250 and works great. The only problem is the notification that 3 parts are being listed as additions and not original to the IPhone. Is it very hard to get this notification removed, or should I stop by a genius store when back in the... Bridesmaid dress advice2h agoHi all, I am a 2028 bride with five bridesmaids. They are picking their own dresses, any brand and style. I was hoping they’d all wear green in any shade because there is some variety of skin tone in the group and different shades work for different people. The dress code is garden semiformal/formal and the wedding is in the summer. I am wanting to suggest dresses or styles for the girls because they are struggling to pick them out. I want them to all feel beautiful and have something they’ll want to wear again if possible, so they’re shopping at regular stores and not bridal stores. If anyone knows about what styles and shades look great on different people, I would love your thoug... Kaimetsu2h agoThe Acadian coast was fogclad. Inside a small white house, a man named Hiroshi laid his mail on the kitchen table and sat down to read it. There was a hydro bill, an offer to increase his credit card limit and an envelope from Japan. He opened the latter first. A letter was inside. He read it. It was from his sister. It said his daughter had died in a car accident. Hiroshi left the other mail unopened and sat for a while. Then he went down to the basement, unlocked a chest and took out a katana that had been wrapped in velvet. He checked the blade. It was sharp. He carried the katana upstairs, placed it on the kitchen table and made a telephone call. The telephone rang twice befor... Kaimetsu2h agoThe Acadian coast was fogclad. Problem with Meijer alcohol shopping return.2h agoHad an order tonight for a single bottle of wine from Meijer beer wine spirits shop. Everything went as planned when I went in and picked the bottle up, I’ll leave the store and get a couple miles away and I get a notification in the app that the order has been canceled and I’m getting my full pay. OK, great, cool. It also tells me to go return for another half pay, and that I can either do this now or end my dash and do it later. I go ahead and go back to the store and the manager is in the spirit shop closing down because it was right at closing time and he informed me that in my state (KY), it is illegal to return alcohol. First-year student looking for resume feedback2h agoHi everyone, I'm a first-year accounting student looking for a corporate accounting internship this summer and I'd like some feedback on my resume. I know it's a tough market and I'm kind of early in college for an internship but I just want to make sure my resume is not the reason I'm having issues.
