804 Keycard

27m ago

In the Shopping Center contracts I’m trying to get the 804 keycard because that’s the mission. The guards are never not in the store room and sneaking up behind them even if I pause and stop they catch me the second I’m in the room with their back turned? I tried googling and YouTubing and nothing about an 804 keycard even exists. Please help 😭😭😭 I’ve tried going in at all times and everything

A worker spoke to me like I’m “slow” and it ruined my concert

29m ago

I’m in NYC for the first time and went to a concert (solo) at Madison Square Garden. I was kind of nervous about going alone even though I’ve done it a lot, I can never totally relax in these settings. I got food in the venue before the show at this weird bodega-style stall/shop. The workers weren’t like behind a desk or anything, they were just joking around and I was the only one in the store, I tried to open the drinks fridge but it didn’t open right away and I saw there was like a code so I assumed the fridge was locked. I’m not from America and I’ve seen a lot of products locked behind glass that shouldn’t really be, so I thought this was the case and I asked the worker ho...

Help finding brand of these pants

32m ago

When i screenshotted this i was so silly and did not include the store or product name. I found them on an indonesian online shopping site called Tokopedia. It is an indonesian local brand as well. The product was out of stock when I found it but I just want to track it down the brand again.

When shopping on your off days..... Do you face?

Today I was in a different store doing some shopping on my day off, and found myself facing the shelf of cottage cheese after I took one down.... Is this my new OCD behavior or is this somewhat normal?

Campo Pequeno in Lisbon recs?

38m ago

Ola! I’ll be working in Portugal for a month and staying in Campo Pequeno, a spot picked out by locals we are working with. Seems cool. Any must eats or great bookstores or shops or thrift stores or cool places or relaxing little bars or coffee shops to hang out/chill/ sit and write in? Any places to steer clear of in this or surrounding areas? Seems very walkable and convenient. Obrigada!

Arachne: Chapter 7

49m ago

Before the newscaster could sputter another word, Arthur’s finger slammed away on the mute button. There was plenty of negativity plaguing the world already and he would rather avoid adding more worry of seismic proportions that his unwell mind couldn’t handle.  Instead, Arthur let the gentle twang of Jim Croce's serenade of "*Operator*"--that drifted from the corner jukebox– mosey along into his ears unimpeded and in harmonic swing. Even with one of his favorite tunes playing away, it unfortunately could not absolve Arthur from the series of tedious tasks at hand, tasks deemed overly dull when one was a small-town bartender.  Passing by a row of glassware freshly wi...

The Mindset of a Profitable Bettor

# The Mindset of a Profitable Bettor ### Or: How I Learned to Stop Guessing and Start Getting Paid **Flair Suggestion:** Educational / Strategy / Discussion --- Let me tell you about the night I lost six straight bets and punched a hole in my drywall. It was a Sunday. NFL. I had "researched" everything. I knew the backup quarterback's college completion percentage. I knew the wind speed in Cleveland. I had a *feeling*. And when the last game ended — another cover by half a point, another bad beat — I sat there staring at my phone wondering how the **** I could know so much and still be so wrong. I was asking the wrong question. I was asking *who* was going to win. And...

Bio dad comes back in my life. I’m not sure what to do

50m ago

Two days ago, my biological dad came to see me at my work. Backstory, he and my mom haven’t been together since she got pregnant. As far as I know, my bio dad (Jacob) is a man ***** who’s had many kids with four different women. I’m the second oldest and don’t talk to my other siblings. The last time I saw him was when I was in fifth or sixth grade when he came to my school without notice, and my brother (from my mom and stepdad) was with me. I was terrified because at the time, my brother didn’t know I wasn’t his full-blood sister and thought he would **** me or something. I was young, lol. The last time I spoke to Jacob was on my 15th or 16th birthday when he called me and said...

Where to purchase a used travel/portable beach umbrella & beach chair in Lisbon or Cascais & also where ...

52m ago

Gonna be in Lisbon for a month for work and thinking might be great to have one of those little collapsible beach / camp chairs that fold up into a backpack. For ultimate reading at the beach comfort without being tied to one beach or have to rent a chair/spot for a whole day. I was thinking of bringing mine from home as it’s perfect and light but it will take valuable souvenir space for return flight :( So thinking of buying maybe a used one there. I got the one I like at REI- is there an outdoors store like that there ? They also sell them on Amazon and at Costco. Or even better is there a resale shop that has those kinds of things in Lisbon or Cascais or that general area? Or even...

I built an AI faith companion app and I'd love for some real Christians to try it

56m ago

**I built an AI faith companion app and I'd love for some real Christians to try it** I'm a one-man shop. I built this because I was tired of faith apps that feel like productivity tools with a cross slapped on them. This one is built from the inside out. Here's what it does: **Daily Scripture** — a verse every day, no noise, no algorithm trying to keep you scrolling. **Scripture by Emotion** — not sure what to read? Tell the app how you're feeling and it finds something relevant. Grieving, anxious, grateful, angry — it meets you where you are. **Full Bible with Audio** — read or listen to the full Bible with audio translations built in. **Talk to Tali**...

Edgar Allan Poe - Portrait - Created by British Dark Artist Mister Sam Shearon.

57m ago

Here's my rendition / portrait of the king of woe... Edgar Allan Poe. This was painted in 2016 digitally, using Photoshop and is human-made, with ZERO use of any A.I. whatsoever. I used various references of old photos of Poe and re-created him in color using real human textures and photo-references of various people, all woven together and repainted to create a more realistic, in focus, Edgar. I wanted to include aspects of his tales as living creatures to accompany him... weaving the Raven upon his shoulders and the one-eyed black cat at his chest, as almost guardians or haunting familiars... For those lovers of the gothic horrific from yester-year, I do have prints and a store l...

Calgary Co-op: Debt, No CEO, and a 2027 Crunch - Still Worth Shopping There?

58m ago

Calgary Co-op looks like it’s going through a rough stretch. Profits have dropped sharply over the past couple of years, there’s about $440M in debt coming due in 2027, and they still don’t have a permanent CEO. That mix of weaker earnings, a big refinancing wall, and unclear leadership isn’t great. They’re not in immediate trouble, but if performance doesn’t improve or lenders aren’t comfortable rolling the debt, things could tighten quickly - store changes, fewer perks, more cost-cutting. Curious what people think. I used to shop at Beddington, then Hamptons. Both closed.

Store recommendations in Ontario/Ottawa?

1h ago

starting to look at rings with my partner and overwhelmed by options… trying on rings at big chain stores to get an idea of what we’re looking for, but obviously wouldn’t shop there as they’re insanely overpriced. I’ve done a ton of research over the past few months, and have found a couple places in Toronto, however ultimately it would be nice to actually sit down with someone and try different diamonds etc that the big box stores don’t provide… Located in Ottawa and would love to find somewhere here if anyone has any recs! If not Ottawa, has anyone had experience with the gem nerd in toronto? That’s looking like our best option to have a ring made, but partner is hesit...
