a lot of advice says to go to a store and get hands on with machines but what exactly does that mean? I am shopping and have my eye on two machines. Aside from just scrolling through stitches what do you do to test a machine to see if it is for you? In my mind i would want to do projects to see how it handles fabric and layers but i dont have that option. There are small things i have noticed (quality of life features) that i found i liked about the Brother St150 like the stitch speed settings, needle up/down button, and reverse stitch button. I have the biggest event of the year for my small biz next Saturday, and my husband and I have been wracking our brains to figure out how we are going to construct a weather proof setup for my table. So as the title suggests, I'm having a dilemma due to my vouchers expiring today but the next available delivery date being Wednesday so they basically say they expire before they can be fulfilled. Has anyone come across this before? Rang the store and she had no idea what I was on about. Should I give my vouchers out in the hopes that someone uses them and I get more?
