We do so much for our daughter and like many children she is incredibly ungrateful at times, but recently at the slightest upset she immediately enters a repetitive negative argument about every little thing we've ever done that she perceives wasn't fair. When she calms down I talk about it with her and she agrees it's not true, but at the slightest upset she's straight back to her negative narrative and nothing seems to be able to dispel it. If we try to counter her arguments while she's in the middle of arguing she'll shoot it down, but if we talk about it when she's calm it all goes out of her head again as soon as she's upset. It's infuriating...

I ask this as I have this problem with 2 stores that I regularly go to. One is a smoke shop and the other is a liquor store. The smoke shop has a sign that says it’s open at 10 am everyday, yet I’ve never seen the store open earlier than 12, and some days I’ve seen it closed as late as 2 pm, it seems like it’s closed half the time I show up during the posted open hours. Then there’s the liquor store, which also has a posted opening time of 10 am, but it doesn’t really open till 11 to 12. This same store closes down randomly throughout the day too since the owner is the only one working there and he has like 20 other things to do everyday that require him to leave the store, it se...

...I walked by no less than 10 different employees and no one said anything to me in the 30 minutes I was in the store, with one exception. The ladies at ASCO thanked me for shopping and wished me a nice day. The shocker for me was that the STORE MANAGER and I crossed paths three different times and he never asked if I needed anything. Folks, that's Home Depot or Menard's energy to me. Oh, and there were no carts in the store with no one in the lot collecting carts. Thankfully they had regular carts in OSLG. Welcome to Calisia, my 3rd city I've reached 2000 citizens on, and I think my last for now. I love this game. I’m not a city builder guy per se, I have more experience with stuff like Workers and Resources, Rimworld, Factorio, and Paradox games. But I LOVE this game. It’s delightful. Hi all, Got pushed into buying a pair of Kayano 32s last week by a running store, went for maybe half a mile and just felt super uncomfortable. Tried to walk another 2 miles or so in them and it just didn't get better. I have maybe some pronation when running, but other than a one-off issue with some peroneal tendinitis a few months ago after a walk, no injuries from it and no real issues. From what I've read everywhere I can find on here, it seems like I don't necessarily need a stability shoe? I just had one of those moments that perfectly sums up what’s wrong with big tech + big business right now, and I need to vent. I do shop & deliver orders, and I got sent to Restaurant Depot (basically a wholesale place like Costco but even more strict bulk only, business accounts, etc.). The customer ordered things like 1 lb of lamb… except the store ONLY sells lamb in massive cases. Like $200–$300 cases. There is no “1 lb option.” It literally doesn’t exist.
