Hi, I started learning 6 months ago on acoustic Ibanez MD39c and then on electric Ibanez GRG121DX which I got second-hand for $150. I like the GRG feel but it feels big for hands compared to acoustic and I sometimes feel more comfortable playing on my acoustic one. My hand size is 6.88inch from top of middle finger to base of palm and spread from thumb to pinky is around the same. I feel frets size and spacing better on my acoustic compared to the electric GRG. The nut width of GRG is 43mm. I think a lower nut width like 42mm on strats and 41mm on Yamaha would suit me more.
