Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Marshalls Latest Community Discussions About MarshallsI’m not sure what these are2h agoI have been cycling my new tank since December 24th, didn’t have any live plants in it as I hadn’t got round to getting them from the shop yet. My NO3 levels were high when I tested the water so I went to get some live plants, on Tuesday last week (10th February); I bought a plant from my local pet store out of a tank which had gouramis and assassin snails in it believe, I added it to my tank and have continued to let it cycle and I’ve just spotted these moving around on one of the decorations and I’m not sure what they are. At first I thought it was just a piece of dirt or something and then I realised there was quite a few and they’re moving! I’ve done my best to get a good pho... Early 20s neighborhood recommendations2h agoI’m (early 20s F) planning on moving to Denver sometime in March. Based on what I’ve read it sounds like Capitol Hill, Cheesman, and Baker neighborhoods would be a good fit, but I’m wondering where else to look! **What I'm looking for:** \- I lived previously in Madison, WI and enjoyed how walkable it was. I lived a few blocks from the capitol and loved how close I was to almost everything I needed—grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, yoga studio, climbing gym, nightlife, live music, farmer's market, shops, etc.—but there were still pockets of quiet. I also liked the near east side if you're familiar. \- Access to a park or nice walking path (I run/walk ever... DTF Auto Build Update - ~200 users, 1000+ Gang sheets2h agoHi everyone, We’ve been working on our DTF Auto Build site for a while now, and since the first version we posted on reddit, with feedback we received we added a lot of improvements and fixes. So far we have almost **200 registered users**, and we’ve generated **1000+ gang sheets**. We do love to hear from anyone who's tried it: What do like so far? What doesn't work well or could be better What features would you want to see added? New: Gallery for Shopify Merchants One of the bigger additions recently is a Gallery feature on our Shopify app. Merchants can now upload and organize their own designs, so their customers can browse and use the store's design library... old King Soopers at 80th + Wadsworth2h agoHello fine people of Arvada, I come to you with a long-shot request. I am trying to find photographs or other visual ephemera of the old shopping mall that used to be part of the King Soopers on 80th and Wadsworth. Back in the 70s-80s, the King Soopers that is there today only took up about half of the overall building, and the rest was a small indoor shopping mall that had 16 or so storefronts. Old-timers will definitely remember the monkey that lived in the window-display of Pet Ranch, but there was also a sporting goods store, a fabric store, a t-shirt shop, and several others. My mom was the original owner of the Wadsworth Book Shop (late 70s) and I spent a good portion of my childhood r... [Beta Recruiting] Sails.tax - Sales tax compliance for small e-commerce stores (24 lifetime Pro spots)2h agoSolo founder here, and I'd love some people to help test my service. In exchange you'll get a lifetime Pro account for free. **What it is:** Sales tax calculation and compliance tool for small online sellers. Works with Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento, PrestaShop, OpenCart, Ecwid. **The problem it solves:** Big tools like TaxJar cost $99+/mo. Small sellers doing a few hundred in sales can't justify that. Sails is built for them. **Looking for:** Beta testers. Store owners willing to connect their actual store and give honest feedback. Any size store welcome. Your privacy is protected and your data can be removed whenever you wish. **Offer:** First 24 testers ge... Built an offline ingredient scanner after watching my mom struggle with food labels. 15 Android users so far—wondering...2h agoContext: My mom has celiac disease and grocery shopping is genuinely stressful. Most allergy scanner apps need internet and fail in basement stores with no signal. So I built SafeBite. **Tech stack:** Flutter, Google ML Kit OCR, Gemini API (optional mode), local SQLite with 200+ ingredients and derivatives. **What it does:** Point camera at ingredient list → on-device OCR → fuzzy matching against allergen database → instant alert if something's flagged. Everything offline by default. Takes 5-10 seconds. The Gemini integration is for when standard OCR chokes on curved labels, glare, or weird fonts. Not a gimmick—it actually solves real problems I couldn't crack with just ... My Boss Saved Me2h agoAfter the weekend I had, I want to talk about my unofficial adoptive father. IDK if this belongs here, please tell me where else to post if it does not. TW for child neglect and abuse. I’m a male and I’m 22. I’ll call myself Sam. My boss/mentor/unofficial adoptive father is… old. (JKJK) he is 40 and I’ll call him Dean. My parents are not good people. I honestly do not know why they had kids. As the middle child, I was able to escape into the background and avoid everything. I will not go into detail as this is not that type of post, but let’s just say I’ve spent nights awake because of them screaming at each other. My father especially was very “spare the rod, spoil t... How long until you reach an ideal collection size?2h agoFor me, my ideal collection/inventory size for all beauty products is 50 items, roughly 45 to 50 categories in total. This includes very minimal backups or varieties for some colored products, but offers enough choices for me that I feel like I'm not actively going to the store or shopping online for most categories. Right now, I have way too many products. I only toss when items have obviously expired. If I continue with my current usage goal of 78 items (because I have 78 categories right now ...) before buying new, I can do about 6 rounds. I feel getting new things after each round, even if just a handful of items to replace what I have completely run out of, is a good replacement r... Today I visited another hi-fi shop directly geared at music rather than HT. There were no surround setups, or even center channels besides a beat up Q650 (more on that later) I auditioned with mostly old school funk, jazz, & r&b. Also, a little CCR on vinyl. These would not have been my normal sources, but when in Rome. Plus, they didn't have any streamers. Just an old machine with a hard drive full of music and a turntable. It was nice equipment though. You can view my previous trip to a couple of HT stores [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/audiophile/s/9RCZ8Lrnwq) I also stopped b... Do you actually like shopping at Aldi?2h agoOur family of 4 lives about 10-15 mins from Aldi and that’s our main preferred grocery store. I actually love that the store is smaller, easier to get in and out and not a huge overwhelmingly amount of options. Bonus that we save tons of money shopping there too. What about you, do you prefer Aldi? Or shop there out of convenience? Speaker Shopping - Day 22h agoI'm on the search for a new LCR setup and am chronicling the journey of my findings. Solstice (Utah) has unfortunately ended business recently and this is the last I'll ever have from them. very different from your usual Ugandan bar, forget all about it: this bar burst of malty, dark caramel, chocolatey flavours. distinct notes of cereals, light hazelnut (like in gianduja rather than on its own), fudge. I also get veeery slight aromas of smoke and saltines (which left me wondering how salt would complement this cacao). manages to be complex without overindulging in the nutty notes. phenomenal creaminess and texture! 2. Own a busy virtual tollbooth at a choke point in one of the most stunning places on Earth.2h agoTLDR Brick and mortar tourism biz outside premier National Park seeks Series B investor(s). soft-launched late Fall ‘25 with good early returns at tail end of the season. I kept seeing people finding BABs in thrift stores and so I thought I'd check a charity shop, Lo and behold! Meet Remy!! I love him and he reminds me of Remus Lupins patronus!! Marauders fans...RISE!! (Psst, he didn't come clothed I already owned these!) Is this MBo good or no? ITS ALSO AM5 ready2h agoIs this a good Mb? Minus not having USB 3 Are run starts without a luck charm in the store even worth attempting?2h agoWhen I first started, I was able to consistently get through at least a few deadlines and got every drawer in right off the bat. Now that I have more things unlocked I only get through the first two about 30% of the time. It seems like it’s pretty much impossible unless you get \_something\_ that makes one symbol more likely than the others. At this point I’m thinking of just skipping any run that doesn’t have luck or a symbol item in the shop to start. Otherwise I just slog through a bunch of empty spins and losing anyways. Am I missing something? I thought I read somewhere it’s supposed to put at least one luck charm of some kind in the first store inventory, but that doesn’t s... family inheritance2h agoHey everyone - my grandfather who passed away about 5 years ago gifted me his coin collection. My grandfather and I always enjoyed coins but I didn't fully grasp his hobby until just recently when my wife and I recent started looking through it as its finally in our possession. All in all, it's nearly 250 pounds of coins and we're a bit overwhelmed. I recently downloaded the CoinKnow app to help but wanted to get input The majority of them have been kept in coin sleeve, all of which have been circulated. Most of the sleeved coins range from grade 3-20 (Based on the app), while more common coins have been stored in jars. In addition to the photos, here's a more extensive... Advice on finishing products (stain/varnish/oil) from local shops2h agoI'm fed up with Bunnings. They've sold me completely expired stain/varnish on 3 occasions now. I thought I would never make the mistake of not checking the varnish is viable prior to application again, after Bunnings ruined my first cabinet project ( I salvaged it with days of scraping and sanding and a lesson learned). HOWEVER, I was fooled again. I was partway through finishing my large built in book case, and needed extra feast&watson. My wife was going past on the way home and picked me up extra. I was so fixated on finishing the first coat that I charged in without checking (it seemed to mix well on stirring). But alas, bunnings had sold my wife a can that expired in 2... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
