Walked into a local second-hand shop “just to browse” and walked out with this almost mint Olympus mju-II Zoom 80 for €5. Five. Euros. The price of a sad coffee and a regret. Came home fully expecting the usual thrift store twist. Dead flash. Jammed lens. Corroded battery compartment. Some ancient curse. Nope. Slapped in a battery, loaded film, and… everything works perfectly. Autofocus sharp. Zoom smooth. Flash fires like it’s 2001 again. I don’t even feel like I bought this camera. I feel like I adopted it from a place where it was deeply underappreciated.

Got this as a tip last night. Didn't read it fully til today. I was stoked when he handed it to me, always need another SD card. Expired the day before I received it..

Hi all, I work in a charity shop in the UK and as such we have allot of clothes and other items that hed bugs would love to hide in. I'm talking about mouse, cables, etc. El Giganten and similar electronic stores seem to have products on the more expensive side. Even if that comes with better quality, honestly I've always been fine buying cables and mouse and similar basic electronics from the cheapest seller (where I'm from it's common to have Chinese-owned shops with products of this kind that are 3-4 times cheaper than buying from a proper electronics store).
