Some details: I purchased some spider wood and other hardscaping wood from a local aquarist store and I was told that the beneficial bacteria would help kickstart the planted 10 gal betta tank I'm starting. However, I'm worried about snails or other unwanted things hitching a ride into my new tank, especially since most if not all of the tanks at the shop had snails. Is there a way to clean wood without removing the beneficial bacteria? Should I just boil it anyways? Should I get over my fear of having snails in my betta tank? I currently own a Giant Contend AR 2 in a M/L frame but I’m looking at switching to a propel for a faster ride. For reference I’ve added a photo of me during a bike fit I had done when I first got the Contend AR 2. I understand that the Contend is a more endurance frame and I’m more upright on this. Just happened upon this new Indian cafe called Sitara at IndiRoot in Concord at the Park N Shop (or is it that Park AND Shop?? idk) . It apparently opened up inside of the grocery store a couple of weeks ago.
