School had just ended for Thanksgiving, and surprisingly, despite the weather reports, the track record for Fall weather, and the words of my own parents, a cold snap had set in over the town and made itself at home. My friend John and I were ecstatic. I was going to be staying over at his house, and as cold as it had gotten, there would be snow on Christmas for sure! John and I were having the time of our lives as we grabbed our bikes from the bike rack outside the school and rode them down the small hill the school sat upon and on towards the town square. We rode past the barbershop, the soda store, and the many other stores we didn’t care abou... I cant find an old seller of packer *Sewn* onto jockstrap?3h agoLike 3 years ago i bought a packer that was a jockstrap with a silicone shaft and realistic floating balls sewn on the outside from etsy but the etsy shop has since shut down, i remember getting an email saying he made a site but i got locked out of my old email and cant remember the stores name and googling brings up the most popular packer sellers, if anyone can help me find that shop or a shop similar id super appreciate it, i **** the feeling of silicone on my skin and how much packers move around in jock pockets so its the only one that has mostly releaved my bottom dysphoria Looking for a trustworthy online fish store that quarantines3h agoHey all! After going through a brutal ich outbreak and a full tank fallow, we’re finally in a good place and ready to start adding fish again — but this time we’re doing it right. We’re looking for an online fish store (preferably based in LA or SoCal) that actually quarantines their fish before sale. I know there are a few bigger names out there, but I’d love to hear from people with recent firsthand experience. • Who are you buying from these days? • Has anyone had good luck with a local LA-area shop that ships or does local pickup? • Any stores you’d specifically avoid after a bad experience? We’re not in a rush — we’d rather wait for the right source than ... Need some advice with Bunny and hamster3h agoHello, for some context, I'm 17 years old, and I've always loved animals. The thing is, I stopped having pets at around 13-14 because my mental health was declining, and I just couldn't keep taking care of pets (also I couldn't cope with the grief of loosing one of my babies). But, around two months ago, my father surprised me with a hamster. At first, I was really happy because I hadn't had one in years, but I'm not exactly someone who just has lots of money just laying around, and I've been struggling to buy her basic stuff (proper enclosure, a bigger wheel, etc) and it makes me really upset. Right now, she's been living in a box, that's about ... I DID IT! :DD (+ my own two cents)3h agoI finally did it! I started playing this game on 1 of April and i finished it on 13. I don't have all the stars but i got all the achievements! (I'll start working on the starts after my exams) I was streaming it to my boyfriend. At first when I shared with him that I actually like this game (like a year ago) he was disgusted. He knew it as the "incest" game. He actually told me off a few times because he was so disgusted and said i was forbidden from talking anything incest related. This was okay with me and i just talked about "normal" stuff in the game. But he slowly warmed up to it and he was the one who bought it for me. He was with me for every step of ... Nordstrom customer service & return process3h agoIs anyone else having problems with Nordstrom customer service lately? I’m a frequent shopper and their top tier loyalty member and have been for several years and don’t remember their process being this bad before. They changed their process to include a disclaimer that they will not return incorrectly packaged items and also have new “made up” rules about returning designer items to their warehouse. The rules change every time You talk to a new agent. I recently returned a designer bag and have been waiting for over a month to receive my refund. I’ve called multiple times and it’s the same run around “yes we have the item and show it was returned 30 days ago, but we... bet the creator's so confused rn3h agoevery video about the kiy has this XD Second hand items for witchcraft3h agoTomorrow im going shopping to a vintage/second hand super cool store and I was thinking of buying there things like candles holders or similar stuff for witchcraft and similar. Is this ok? Like, is it okay to use second hand stuff for this? PSA: Pay Pal payment & $8 Return shipping fee in Canada3h agoI had purchased two dresses from Aritzia in two sizes so that I could try one and return the one that doesn't fit. The last time I tried something on in Aritizia (Eaton Center), a kid ran into my changing room and opened the curtain for everyone to see me in my underwear. I was so shaken and embarrassed that I didn't file a complaint (also TBF he was a 4 year old kid) and I just left. Ever since I never shop at an Artizia store. So this time, I purchased two dresses through PayPal and went to the store to return the one that was too big. And at the Queen St store (Toronto) they offered me store credit. When I insisted that I wanted it as a refund, they asked me to reach out to cu... Canadian-based brand claimed it was closing as an April Fools joke and offered a final sale3h agoI’m probably not going to do anything about this except send an email to the brand, but I’m kind of chapped. A brand based in Montreal - EvryJewels - advertised that it was closing and sent me an email on April 3rd saying there’s only four hours left to shop it’s closing sale, with the message “our final goodbyes.” I would not have bought anything from the site had I known it was a belated, running April Fools joke. There was nothing posted on the site explaining it was a joke and it wasn’t even April 1. The website indicated it really was closing and it was the last few hours of the store’s existence. I panicked and bought $200 worth of items. Purchase are non-refundable... Driving to St John's from New Brunswick. What are some must-not-miss spots along the way?3h agoHello everybody! I'm going to at Scifi on the Rock this year and decided to make a roadtrip (a decision that was sadly made when gas was a lot cheaper) out of it so I can really see and do as much as possible while in your beautiful province. It's been a dream to go and I'm so glad to finally have the opportunity. I'm looking for recommendations for the best things to do between Port aux Basques and Saint John's. As of right now we are just following the standard route that google maps gives you which tells me it's gonna be about a 9 hour drive. Things being a little off the beaten path aren't a dealbreaker, I'm happy to go an hour or more out of m... Calling Online Magic Players!3h agoDisclaimer: I think this post is within guidelines for this sub. If it isn't, if anyone knows somewhere better to post something like this, please lmk. **Are you terminally online, anxious or simply have no shop to play in?** I have the **same** problem, I live in the middle of nowhere and there's not a store to play in for miles around for me. Same for a close friend of mine. HOWEVER! We recently came into possession of tabletop simulator which is a great little application with mods allowing for basically any deck to be used. *Where am I going with this*. Basically, we're putting together a little server for online tournaments and pub matches for all skill levels.... Brand claimed it was closing as an April Fools joke and offered a final sale3h agoI’m probably not going to do anything about this except send an email to the brand asking for my money back, but I’m kind of chapped. A brand - EvryJewels - advertised that it was closing and sent me an email on April 3rd saying there’s only four hours left to shop it’s closing sale, with the message “our final goodbyes.” I would not have bought anything from the site had I known it was a belated, running April Fools joke. There was nothing posted on the site explaining it was a joke and it wasn’t even April 1. The website indicated it really was closing and it was the last few hours of the sale. I panicked and bought $200 worth of items. Was that legal of the brand? I i... I got tired of opening 4 different apps just to check my daily commute, so I built a single dashboard app for all NYC tr...4h agoHey everyone! I’m a local developer who commutes daily and was getting incredibly frustrated constantly bouncing between Google Maps, the MTA TrainTime app, and the NJ Transit app just to figure out when my specific train was leaving and what track it was on. Most routing apps force you to type in your destination every single time. I wanted an app that works more like a "Saved Commute" dashboard where you open it and your specific, daily trains are just *there*. So, over the last few months, I built **Commute NYC**. **What it actually does:** * **Aggregates Everything:** Combines live MTA (subways/buses), LIRR, Metro-North, NJ Transit, PATH, and NYC/Staten Island Ferries ... Arkights x Seiko collab (Mudrock edition)4h agoFinally after fighting customs and paying a chunky tariff + fees I finally got my Seiko. I have been meaning to get one after missing the last two launches especially after missing out on the Exusiai one which I have not seen any on the market for years. :( The Mudrock edition is a dive watch rated down to 200m and uses a 4R36 automatic movement. You can read more from the [official listing](https://shop.yostar.co.jp/products/detail/3136) if you want that nerdy stuff. You can see Mudrock's hammer as the second hand which is a cute touch. And as with a lot of Seikos the chapter ring is ever so slightly off which someone recommended me to take it to [Seiko Watch Customer Service](ht... Should I buy this modchip from Aliexpress4h agoSometimes you just get that good feeling and willingly go the extra mile4h agoAccepted a shop and deliver double. Home Depot 3 items and Target 1 item. Both stores are across the street from each other, 5.3 miles to complete both deliveries. $29.80 pay. Get to Home Depot, his Monster 4 pack not available, he asks for 3 singles. Mosquito fogger not available, another brand is, he oks, so I get it. Other item available. We start chatting about the mosquito problem, he makes jokes and so do I. End the delivery with him adding $20 to his tip, making his orders pay $34.80. The other customer from Target wanted a men’s bow tie. Item not available, regular tie won’t work. Refund and cancel the order. Get paid $10.25 for my effort. Luckily I called her before... The “sustainable shopping” trend feels like poor appropriation, and now, I can’t access clothes and housewares.4h agoNow that thrifting has been rebranded as “sustainable shopping” and “the most ethical fashion,” I can’t afford to shop anymore. Thrift stores are now selling necessities for the same cost as buying them new. My shoes are falling apart and if I had $20 to buy them at a thrift store, I’d just buy them new at TJMaxx. Buying secondhand on apps or on Marketplace is an even bigger joke. Buy Nothing groups in my area don’t give away anything useful. I’ll get excited to see clothes on there and then it’ll turn to disappointment when I see it’s free because of all the rips and stains. Clothing swaps have a similar vibe here, it’s all “well you can upcycle the fabric!” Sure,... Shopback Referral Code : Free $15 USD purchase at any store of your choice.
