LA Fitness Locations

I’m barely able to type so forgive my bad spelling. I am really not feeling great today. I have a high fever (it is fluctuating) and have been at Disney parks for 2 days with my family. My employer told me 2 days ago I’d be working today (not planned originally) I am sick. For context I work with young children. As young as only a few months old. I teach kids how to swim part time at an la fitness through a different company that had a contract with La fitness. They’ve stopped responding to me not sure if I’ll qualify for unemployment if they fire me and claim I willingly left. Hey everyone, I’ve been an Active&Fit Direct member for almost two years, and my primary LA Fitness location is going to be under renovation for the next two weeks. Does anyone know if I’m eligible to go to other nearby LA Fitness locations during this time, or am I restricted to just that one?

It was 16 of La Gyms around metro and in last 5 years they close 6 and 7th is on way. So why La do it. How much I see they are busy in metro area.

hey yall. for locations sake i live right off curry ford closer to downtown; takes me about 10 minutes to get to sodo. ive tried crunch and la fitness since living over here, both are insanely busy at all times of day. i typically go around 10/11am due to work schedule, but ive tried every other time of day other than going at like 5am… and i work til 4am some nights so that doesnt really work for me lol. i go to the gym 6-7 days/week and use lots of free weights and machines. i pay almost $40/month for la right now and for how absolutely packed it is and people often using machines to do parkour or chill on their phone, i am unsatisfied. i’m willing to pay a premium price at this point ...

What’s your favorite LA fitness location in LA or the valley? Looking for one that has easy parking, a sauna, is kept clean, and the members are chill. Which one do you recommend?

Hi, I apologize if this isn’t the correct place to ask. So I recently (Less than a month) started working for LA Fitness in the sales department. I’m the type to read everything I’m signing (Policies, Handbooks, etc.) Like most of my prior experience that require clocking in and out, IIRC the policy here says not to round to the nearest hour, and to be as accurate as possible and that “Every Minute Counts” Unlike previous experience, I clock in through the employee Website/Portal and have the capability of adjusting my time card whenever throughout the day and then confirm it the next day before I “Clock in” for the following shift. hey everyone, figured i'd share some parking tips for seeing robert glasper at the blue note on 04/02. hollywood is always a total headache for parking especially on sunset boulevard so you really want a plan before you head out. honestly the easiest thing i have found is using an app called Prked. you can rent someone's private driveway or garage spot right next to the venue which is way cheaper than the big commercial lots and you get to skip the massive traffic jam of everyone trying to get in and out of the same garages at once. plus you can usually find a spot just a short walk away which is way less stress and it makes leaving way faster. check Prked first for sure. ...

The Ashburn LA Fitness is finally doing something with their gym!! Ever since they changed staff it has gotten so much better. Brought back the infrared sauna, added new weights, and opened up their Kids Klub. I’ve been a member for so long and it has only been going downhill until recently. I’m very excited.

I went to go cancel my membership. 7 people working there and none of them knows who their manager is and won’t let me cancel my membership. 😂 i asked for a manager name and they passed me to 6 other people and they all said idk. Nice lawsuit last year guys 🙄 Ima try another la fitness tomorrow morning and see how long this process goes. My guess it is going to take 2 weeks. Hi there, If I become a member of One Pass Select, can I go to LA Fitness and Planet Fitness? Or can I only go to one? Also, for Planet Fitness, I have a home location near me, but some times (3 times a month) I'd like to go to another location to workout with a friend. How can I do that with One Pass Select? Thanks

They put up a sign announcing the closure today. Was hoping it was just an Aprils Fools joke, but it is real. As the other post said they’re closing for remodeling and opening up and as Club Studio which will be roughly $170 a month. The SLP location is always pretty busy and I’m assuming with the closure of Hopkins, that SLP and Edina will be even busier. I’m not a big fan of Planet Fitness, but if anyone has any gym recommendations for around $50 that aren’t too far away, please let me know! Thanks!!
