I have been a graphene OS user for the past 3 years. Everything was working. Recently, I switched to a new carrier (Jio - India). I am able to use mobile data, but calls are not connecting. Contacted customer support by visiting local Jio store and they said my device doesn't support VoLTE! Pixel 6A definitely support VoLTE. But it is not working with Graphene OS. Tried force overriding carrier settings, tried IMS APN settings. Hey r/Airtel community, I'm gearing up to port my Airtel prepaid number to Jio primarily for their much cheaper international roaming options and the ability to receive incoming SMS without any mandatory monthly recharges. My Airtel validity expired about a week ago, so the SIM is currently in no service mode (I believe). I’m currently abroad and my Jio SIM suddenly got deactivated on October 26. I had recharged it on July 19, and I never received any message or warning about expiration. I’ve contacted Jio support multiple times but they keep repeating the same thing that I need to visit a Jio store in India with my Aadhaar card to reactivate it. Since I’m an nri and right now I can't travel and that’s not possible for me. Has anyone faced a similar situation or found a way to reactivate or at least retrieve OTPs remotely? Any advice or workaround would really help.Thanks in advance.

Edit: I had to go to India, visit Jio store. They forced me to call Jio Care and get a TAG number (I don’t know why it wasn’t possible for them to do as I was in their office. I didn’t have any SIM card to even call Jio care - so take a live indian sim with you to make offline calls). Then they took my Aadhar number, got OTP and took my picture and gave me a new SIM card with 340Rs recharge. The idea is old SIM card is dead. May be e-sim works? Not sure. Jio sim is deactivated so I have contacted the Jio Care and got the Tag number for reactivation, however Jio Store guys want the owner(My Sister) of the sim to be present to reactivate it. (She may not visit India until end of 2025) - Not sure on how long the Tag number will be valid/available ?
