Hi, I am planning to buy an iPhone 16 or 17 from the US. I've asked my cousin to bring it, as they are coming to India next month(december). Can you please suggest where I should look for better offers on the unlocked version of the iPhone 16 or 17, other than Apple Stores? Will I also get offers in-store during the Black Friday sale?

On 3rd November 2025, I tried purchasing an iPhone 17 Pro and paid ₹50,000 using my HDFC Bank debit card around 8:53 PM. The amount was debited from my bank account, but the Apple Store system didn’t capture the transaction — no receipt was generated. I got a new iPhone 17 Pro in the US on October 14. Though purchase date was 14 October, 22nd October is the warranty start date recorded in the phone since I started using the phone only then. I noticed a small camera issue - a smudge on one of the lenses. I contacted the Apple Store in India on October 30. They said it’s a hardware issue and offered to repair the phone. But I’m not comfortable with that because it will affect water resistance. What is the best option? I will be in the US only in Dec mid. Have any of you gotten your battery replaced for the iPhone 15 Pro at an Apple Store *in India*? Did they give any water resistance warranty after that? Or was it voided after the replacement? How long did they take to perform the service? Edit 1: I mean to ask if the IP water/dust resistance rating still valid after Apple performs the service.

I recently bought a MacBook Air M4 under the student offer after the latest Apple event. As part of the offer, I added the new AirPods Pro 3rd Gen by paying an extra ₹8,000 (discounted combo price). Since I chose free engraving, the pickup date was shown as 19th October at the Apple Saket store. I collected my MacBook on 1st October and went home for Diwali, as the AirPods were due later. Based in India. I kept checking the Apple website for availability of the 17PM. It showed available for pickup TODAY, and I jumped on it! Snagged the silver, which I’d say is the rarest here in India. It’s also out of stock now, so I’m happy I got it. Looking at your posts here, people who preordered still haven’t got it, but I guess when my 12 Pro died on me, I got lucky. Guy at the Apple Store said that they only received a couple of PMs, and single digits in the silver. No stores have any stock right now, not even Apple authorised resellers; whoever has 1-2 units is forcefully selling it with AppleCare plans. Pretty decent upgrade on the 12 Pro overall.
