I've already been super into making miniature books. I've already bound like 200+ miniature books in 1:6 scale, but they're all just simple paperback books. So I became interested in making hard cover ones and such. And when I was doing research on how, I saw a few people making super detailed miniature leather books that look oooh so gorgeous. I'm pretty excited about this idea!! I want to try to stay away from fast fashion as best as I can, thrift more, and make my own clothing! but, first, I need to find good fabric. preferably not from Wal-Mart or Hobby Lobby. and ofc learn how to sew lol. for those that diy yr clothes, what stores do u get fabric from? sorry if this post doesn't belong here.

There used to be a store at Oak Park that had them but they stopped stocking them. Micheals has them on and off but I haven’t seen them there in awhile.

I live near Cologne and i‘d be willing to drive up to 2 hours for cute fabrics. I‘ve been to Selfmade, Junghanswolle and every local fabric store in Cologne and Aachen. I dont like ordering online (I **** buying fabric I havent touched). I visit a lot of fabric markets but the "whimsical, floral vibe" is just not there. Its hard being a young sewist living in germany haha. If you know any bigger craft stores like Hobby Lobby please help me out.

I collect and play a game called Legendary; it’s got some flavors of Magic the Gathering. Most of my collection is the Marvel game, and a common problem among folks who have lots of it is how to store it all. The usual practice is an artist’s case from Hobby Lobby. I have four of them, but moving boxes around is kind of a pain. Plus I’m close to filling the boxes I have and in danger of needing another. Does anyone know of a good place to go and buy the Tyler Laundry Detergent in a store? I’d like to be able to smell them! I got a bottle of it as a gift and loved it, but the smell reminds me of my aunt, who uses it religiously. I’d like to go smell the other scents! I usually mix it with my normal detergent and just use it on my blankets, so it lasts. Thinking there has to be a store like Michael’s or Hobby Lobby? Many thanks!

I bought some beads online at Amazon with multiple colors but the black beads in the kit were the wrong size. Very annoying. Went Hobby Lobby and bought a 12/0 in black and half the beads are misshapen and not the size listed on the package. So frustrating. I bought a different brand at Amazon and the color came off on my hand while sorting and storing (not electroplated I guess). Please give me where you buy your beads that don’t have the above problems and have some different colors to choose from. And thank you for your help in advance. A frustrated beader!

Hi everybody, new to the area and I have a project I’m working on that requires a ton of beads and buttons (and other fun craft things of that nature) I know there’s a hobby lobby in the mall but would rather go local and wanted to see if there’s somewhere where I might be able to get a bunch of beads at a reasonable price? I guess more importantly how do both malls survive? Menlo Park Mall and Woodbridge Center in NJ
