I noticed something with this store. I’ve applied 3 separate times in the past for 3 different positions. I said i was black on my applications and listed all of my prior job positions. Fast forward a few months later, I got the idea to try something. I applied for the same position twice and on one application I said i was black and on another, I said Hispanic. The cold must’ve kept people inside. My local giant eagle had maybe 15 people in line when it opened.

I was inspired to check out Google maps and see how far my local Goodwill is from me. I'll have to travel on foot, about 50 minutes. Bit I checked Street View and saw their dumpster. Guys, do you think it'll be worth the walk in negative temps? Should I instead maybe look at something closer, like a Dollar General? DG is only about a 2 minute walk and is in a huge shopping center that also features a Giant Eagle grocery store. Wow, typing this out, I feel like I answered my own question. Yup, Giant Eagle pulled the trigger and closed early today. Granted, it’s the corporate stores that are closing early. I’m not sure if the franchised ones like Niles, Elm Rd, and Liberty are open as well.

Title says it all, the stores that were able to be opened today will be closing at 4. I hope none of you needed this info and are safely at home, but it doesn't seem like not important information. There is still a possibility of them not opening tomorrow on time, yet to be decided.

Oof, in Pittsburgh today dashing was just horrific. I did a triple order at target and then did a triple order at Giant Eagle our local grocery store. I really want to know what you think happened here, this guy wanted 15 packs of ground beef, six dozen eggs, a bunch of cheese and other stuff too, 15 packs! And I had to refund most of that because they didn’t have any meat, the shelves were so empty because of the storm coming I guess. But the weird thing is when I went to check out for his order, the card kept saying it was declined. How y'all doing with the clouds? I've been gone for so long that I swapped yinz with y'all. I have kids that barely know their grandparents and extended family. At this point it feels cruel to keep them separated because everyone gets along so well when we get together, but I can't stop thinking about the clahds. Instead of an all in one frozen dinner, here’s a dinner made with frozen components. Store brand products. Nothing fancy or sophisticated, but good. Better than an all in one frozen dinner because you have more control. Sauce was homemade. Added our fresh fruit with homemade whipped cream for a bonus.
