I got my usual order at Five Guys and somehow walked out $18 poorer… for a burger, small fries, and a drink. At this point I feel like I accidentally financed a cow. I get that beef prices are up, inflation and all that, but this is starting to feel less like fast food and more like a sit-down place except I’m still the one cleaning my table. I literally just joined this just so I could tell this situation that JUST HAPPENED. My mom ordered us some Five Guys. Just two burgers, fries, and she got a shake. When the order got here our dasher placed a Crumbl cookies order on our porch instead of our burger. I’m genuinely curious, how do you mix something like this up. Where do I start? I had a crush on this guy in highschool and basically we remained friends throughout college. One day he got kicked out of his mom's house because he went to jail for beating up his dad (kind of deserved- but violence is never okay) and he asked me if he could stay at my place for a few days. I helped him get back into college (I am a premed) and he got back on his premed journey as well. I fed him, cook for him constantly, he is unemployed and gets his rent paid for by his mother, and is just generally so unenjoyable to be around. We've been told that cannibal puns are in poor taste, so we had to try out the new fast food cannibal place, "Five Guys." I wanted to try a number of items on the menu, so I ordered their manwich, then a rump roast, with some headcheese and a side order of kidney pie. We sat around and chewed the fat for awhile.

After reading mixed reviews on this I finally caved in once they had a deal for a free medium fry with the purchase of a Big Arch burger. Total ending up being $8 flat for both. I took off lettuce and slivered onions hoping they would make it fresh, and luckily they did. Came out hot and fresh, was super tasty overall! Curious if it would be any better swapping the sauce with Big Mac sauce instead. I do like their hot mustard, and this sauce is similar just without the heat I’d say. With the app deal I give the “product” a 7.5/10. Still not as good as Culver’s or Five Guys (comparing other fast food burger chains).

So, I live in a an area that could loosely be described as a micropolitan. That being said, I don’t go out to eat. Heck, I don’t even really miss any of it. I honestly don’t, if anything I miss the convenience of being able to eat out, and I miss being able to be at an event where I’m told that I make everyone feel awkward because I won’t eat. Occasionally, I would go to five guys burgers, we have one in town. However, that has now changed because when I went at last Saturday, I watched them like a hawk as I have in the past. Update: I read this post to him. The only things he disagress with are smlall things like how I made his job seem too relaxed or how I didnt't mention he doesn't like my sister. Then we argued about how at Costco he left me with his cards to pay and they wouldn't let me becuase they needed to see him (as his mom pays for his membership). I was frantically waving at him to come to me (after I called him and told him to hurry back to me because i couldt pay). While i was embarrssed and frantically waving he decided to get food instead of coming straight to me becuase he was running late. He's always late. I also looked over and he was on his phone.
