So last night I went out by myself for the first time ever. I’m a 32 y/o single mom and my daughter is staying at her dad’s for the weekend. My best friend and I booked a hotel for the night in Antwerp, since we would go to a club. Last minute she cancelled. Everything was booked, we couldn’t get a refund and besides that, I really needed a night out, so I thought why not? Right? Let push our boundaries. So I went on a little adventure on my own. Recently I've been trying to find out what the best fast food burger is (in my area) and have come up with a list that may be a bit controversial! !!All burgers were ordered the same way!! (Cheese, Lettuce, Onions, Pickles, Ketchup, and Mayo) 🍔First, Some Honerable Mentions🍔 • The Double-Double from In-N-Out. I’ve been trying different burger spots around the UAE and was curious to hear what everyone else thinks. So far, the top contenders for me are Pickl and Five Guys. Both are consistently solid, but I’m sure I’m missing out on other great spots. I didn’t include some of the bigger fast food chains, mostly because I was focusing on places that feel a bit more “burger-focused” if that makes sense. I stopped in a Five Guys in Janesville, WI while moving stuff home in a rental truck, and my god if this wasn’t THE BEST five guys burger I’ve ever had. The crew was so friendly, I unwrapped the burger and immediately was floored, and can confirm that the taste was just as superb. Toppings: Lettuce, Tomato, Grilled Onions, and Mayo. Cost: cheeseburger + regular fries + large drink and $1 tip: $22.70 I go to Five Guys about once a month, in different places, but this specific one has no equal. I even talked to the manager/owner (who happened to be in that day) and heaped my praises on his crew and food. 10/10 Five Guys burger

they say this knowing that micah hadn’t had a job in like a year now and kiyomi (profiting off of her kids) makes all the money. just insane to me because why are you defending a groomer and cousin ******? the replies are so rude for no reason either it wasn’t even being that mean, these people are just way to quick to defend whoever.

I did quite a few Stella runs last night to recoup some coin after buying hullcracker ammo all day. It started off fairly standard with my care bear lobbies but at about 8:30 pm the vibe completely shifted. Every round was a late spawn and every round I encountered rats. Three moments in particular stood out to me though - I'll try to keep this short. Late spawn (17 minutes) so I head straight to the metro. I don't even loot. Come around the corner beneath the lobby and a guy lights me up with a stitcher. People always talk about how expensive Five Guys is but fast food has caught up. Crazy times we live in.

Sometimes I will play games with the DoorDash/Uber eats drivers. As soon as they are assigned to my order I will challenge them to a task and tell them that they of course will get an appropriate tip, but if they do the special task their tip will increase significantly. I am a man of my word, but most drivers just ignore my request. A year or so ago I challenged the driver to get as many free peanuts from Five Guys as possible and that his tip would be commensurately higher with the amount of peanuts. He came up to the gate and gave me a bag and I said “oh, are the peanuts in here?” He said, “no, this is just your food. I have to go get the peanut BAGS.” Pictured is what he delive...

Can't really complain when I have no money and have to get a lot of food out of RE, but I think I can complain when I have money but all the chicken on campus is priced like three sandwiches but you get one. How the **** does this place charge $15? It's like going to McDonalds but they replaced the menu prices with Five Guys. We need to throw out whoever is doing the food on campus and get some reasonable prices in here. Captive demand and no competition (everything here is run by Compass, who owns Chartwell) just allows for sky-high prices. Hey everyone :) today I tried Five Guys for the first time. I got a little cheese burger and a little fries. Or what I thought was going to be “little”. 😹 I left the store and looked into my bag, and basically the equivalent of 3 large russet taters was in there! I’m not sure how to fit that much food in my stomach hahaha. Why SOOO many fries?? They were fkn delicious, don’t get me wrong, but I had to throw the rest out 😅

After annoying everyone in this sub to judge my itinerary, our NYC trip finally happened! Here is a bit of how our visit went. Exactly as described above. I’m thinking about going full anti-inflammatory and just making that permanent change. I’m having thoughts in my head that if I do that for my health I can never truly have the foods I want ever again. Like it’s an all of nothing. But I know that’s not true for most. Hear me out. We THINK we're getting a 3hr podcast but they always leave us with a little surprise and a delight in the form of an extra 30 min.
