Hi all! I'm from Argentina and I have just come back from Liverpool 2 days ago. I was there with my girlfriend, both of us are huge beatles fans and decided to visit Liverpool for the second time (first time was in 2024). We really love the city, the people is great, friendly and funny. We also had a good time at night, I like the corridors near the cavern where all the bars and discos meet and you can jump from one place to the other and try different music styles and all. However guys, me being a person who isn't into fast/process food, I had a hard time finding decent places to eat. And I'm not even talking about restaurants, I also struggled finding fresh fruits/vegetables...

Writing this here bc idk what to do at this point. So my boyfriend (M28) and I (F24) have been together for a year and a half. Went through a miscarriage and that’s the least of our problems. It's another Friday. We made it through another week. Hope that this finds you all well. We're finding out that life on this side of the mountain is quite a bit more convenient than in Central Oregon. There are far more choices of stores/restaurants/etc. Maybe the biggest surprise was with Amazon. With Amazon Prime when we got free 2 day delivery in CO it usually took at least 3 or 4 days. Up here it's often next day. In one case something we ordered in the morning was delivered that afternoon! Five Guys was created in Arlington VA in 1986, 2 years after the events of MGSV. Post-MGSV, Miller leaves outer heaven to go to Arlington to work for the government. He wouldn't just give up his passion for creating burgers and would more than likely find a couple of other people to talk about food with, perhaps maybe 4 of them? Personally I think it just crosses the line where I would rather just go to an actual burger bar and get real service.

I’ve been living in Germany for a while now, and something I still find strange is how limited proper halal options are here. Big chains like McDonald’s, KFC, or Burger King don’t really offer halal, and even brands like Five Guys usually aren’t. In supermarkets like Rewe, Edeka, or Lidl you can find some “halal” products, but a lot of them feel very processed or just average in taste.
