I see so many people astounded by how fast the shipping is so it may be just my luck. I had problems with FedEx at my old apartment in the past so I am biased. Anyways, I ordered prorx on the 4th, it mailed out on the 8th and said 2 day delivery by 5pm at the latest today. i made my first Mercari sale last Saturday. Didn't realize my local FedEx ship station closed at 4pm, and I arrived there at 5:17pm. I was supposed to receive 2 Hollister packages on April 3rd and instead of going out for delivery they just say “A request was made to hold this package.” There’s been absolutely no update a week later. I emailed Hollister and they told me to contact FedEx and I did and they literally were no help.

On today’s version of delivery debauchery, my 1 of 2 package (item came in two boxes, second one was delivered yesterday), I was to receive a long rectangular Home Depot order. I had two FedEx shipments this week to my apartment from two different vendors. My apartment building has a door code, so I listed the door code in delivery instructions on the FedEx app. Both of those shipments were scheduled to come on the same day. I get enough packages that I felt it was worth it to pay for UPS My Choice to be able to redirect packages to an alternate address or have them delivered to a UPS Store for pickup. I redirected a package sent to me on the same day it was shipped to be delivered to my work location because a signature was required and I would not be home today. My is a husband is a FedEx driver(so am I) and has been talking all week about this tiny sad crested he keeps seeing at Petsmart when making deliveries. We caved and went and got her last night. We wired the money for downpayment and closing costs ($320K), sat at the closing table, to be informed (after we signed everything) that the mail with the original deed hadn't arrived yet. The seller (who is in another state and has been careless throughout the process) mailed it the night before, and seems like the delivery information is wrong cause it sits at a fedex facility with the delivery continuously being pushed after a couple of days. I'm baffled that they didn't moved the closing date until the deed was ready, and that we don't have the keys for the place after closing. What are my options here? sit tight and wait?
