I commute to the bay Tuesday through Thursday and I’m looking for an affordable gym in the city Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I know there is livefit, crunch, etc but I can’t believe gyms have become $100+. For example crunch fitness is absolutely tiny and it barely has any equipment. It has like 1 or 2 squat racks and maybe 2 bench presses. But again very few gyms should be $100+ a month. City sports is so out of the way but that’s still $34 a month. So going back to my question: why is every rec center closed on Monday?

I have been going to crunch for years now and never had any problems but I have been through **** trying to cancel my membership. I used to go to the location in my home town and had the peak membership so I could use multiple locations. I ended up moving to a different city for college and when I went to the local crunch fitness there they told me that location wasn’t covered under the membership and I needed to change my home gym to their location. I didnt know that it would create a whole other account for me and and I’ve just discovered that ive been double billed for about a year now. I’ve been going to Crunch fitness and they have spray tan machines. I love the color and stay it gives (normally lasts me 8-10 days and I still have some color). The only issue is my hands and under my feet. I have two toddlers and I’m constantly washing dishes, washing my hands, giving them a bath, etc. I also shower daily. I tried wearing rubber gloves when I wash dishes, but I still wash my hands a lot, give my kids a bath and shower so it didn’t help with the fading. Any tips or tricks for this? As for my feet, they look great on the tops and sides, but the underneath look dirty! I tried exfoliating the underneath, but it will not budge lol. I shower daily and it really doesn’t...

Okay seriously! Where are my serious gym goers going for a workout? (Filming friendly gym). I’ve tried just about it everything and here’s the breakdown: GoodLife - great for beginners but the people there have no gym etiquette. It’s full of boomers who don’t put their weights back and have staring problems. Sky fitness - great for non beginners and for people who like to film their workouts. However, this is a trainer gym so these dudes will be training 4 people at once and taking up all the space/equipment. Also for $70 per month, there’s literally 0 amenities. Met a girl at the gym who used to go to my previous gym about a year ago. I recognized her and started a convo with “Where have I seen you before?” We talked for about 30 minutes and it went really well. Before leaving I asked if she wanted to hang out sometime. She said “yeah sure” and gave me her number. Later I texted: “Hey \[name\], it’s \[my name\] from Crunch Fitness.” No reply. She seemed engaged during the conversation, so I’m a bit confused. If I see her at the gym again, should I just ignore it or give a quick “hey” and move on? I don’t want to make it awkward or look salty by ignoring her.

Wanting to see if there are any Bible study groups that meet around town? I go to Harris Creek Baptist but haven’t officially become a member of the church yet (moved here recently) so I can’t join any of their small groups until that happens. But I’d love to join any local ones or if you happen to go to HCBC and have one you want to share about ☺️ Edited to add: becoming a member at Harris Creek does not require payment. I have no idea where that is coming from or if people just are not familiar with church and what a church membership is. It’s not like I’m signing up for Crunch Fitness and paying my annual fee lol

Someone broke the lock I put on a locker at Crunch 2 weeks ago and stole all of my stuff. It happened at the Crunch Fitness at McIntyre Square. Took all my work clothes and everything. I wasn't gonna post anything, but a couple coworkers told me I should, so here it is.

Debating on leaving my gym to join crunch. The gym i go to now doesn’t take a photo of their members so I can share my pass with my family members, no point in leaving if i can’t do the same at crunch

I’m looking for a new gym to go to. For those that go to Crunch Fitness what do you think about it?? Pros and cons?? Any other good gyms to workout at that won’t break the bank??

I'm a trans guy starting up a gym membership, and i don't know how this is going to go honestly. I pass well, and my voice is low enough that I'm not really questioned anymore. My main worry is locker rooms/sauna/showers. The guy giving me a tour did mention single stalls, but is it like that for showers too? I am going to be working with a personal trainer, starting on Monday, but the anxiety is getting to me. Hi all, As the title says i am moving to west palm beach from Detroit for work. I am living downtown, city center area. I am looking for a traditional gym to join that isn’t more than a 15 minute drive from downtown. At home i go to crunch fitness, but cant seem to find any “normal gym” near downtown. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I signed up for Crunch Fitness in FL in October last year. It was all the end of year promos and they had a good one. I knew I was potentially traveling in a few months, so despite the deal, I wanted to make sure I could actually cancel online anytime as the advertisement said. Wanting to bite the bullet and just get the NOAC membership, but I don't work downtown (about 15 min drive from my house). Issues are that I work 7-4 on the northshore and have to travel out of town for work at least 2-3x a month (probably like 6 days out of a month). I'm wondering bc of my altercations, would the membership still be worth it? And if you think it is, please tell me why! I love being able to do diverse classes, but the hours will make it difficult to squeeze in a workout before work, and I would be able to do less classes bc of that as well. Can anyone tell me how the towel service works at crunch fitness? I called them a few minutes ago to ask but I don’t think the lady was familiar with “towel service”. How much does it cost? Is it like for the shower? Do you have to be peak member? Is it an all day service?

I know that's kind of a longshot lol but also it is a really busy gym, so can't hurt to ask. I can never figure out how to actually properly pair Runna with the treadmills and my Apple Watch altogether or if there's even a way to do it? I know how to pair my watch via Bluetooth with the treadmill, and it syncs up the workout data, but not with the addition of Runna and since I'm following specific planned workouts, I really want to figure out how to do it! I knew I shouldn't have moved back home with my mom. Our relationship only being good when we spend time away from one another should've been a good indicator.
