CHICKFILA Jalapeno Ranch Club Review!4d agoFinally got around to trying the Jalapeño Ranch Club from Chick-fil-A and I was honestly pretty curious about this one. The combo of spicy chicken, bacon, and jalapeño ranch *sounds* like it should go hard—but fast food “spicy” can be hit or miss. **Quick thoughts:** * The jalapeño ranch actually adds a nice kick (not crazy spicy, but noticeable) * Bacon + ranch combo works really well * Chicken was solid as usual * Not the spiciest thing ever, but definitely more flavor than heat Overall, I’d say it’s worth trying if you like a little spice, but don’t expect it to melt your face off. Curious what everyone else thinks— 🔥 Did you try it yet? Worth it or nah? The weather outside is frightful?4d agoI was inspired by my pal Waffels and found a menu #5 chicken and rice MCW. It's been in the 80s here so no Arctic conditions to try this in. The components were the same and what a lovely menu this one is. I ate the main for my Friday dinner and then the rest this morning. I made the main with milk, mixed the beverage base with the coffee creamer and sugar and heated the French toast in the air fryer. That main is something special. I know it's just chicken and rice but with the milk...holy **** it was amazing. It's rich and creamy and more filling even. I added a hefty amount of fresh cracked black pepper and the bottle of Tabasco. It was on the brown side but still fine. ... Help me solve a childhood restaurant mystery — across from City Tower early 90s5d agoHello San Antonio Redditors, I need some help! No one seems to remember this, but when I was 4 or 5 years old, I distinctly remember a fast food restaurant across from what is now City Tower. I believe it was a Church’s Chicken. I’ve looked and looked but cannot find any information confirming what restaurant used to be there. I think the location is currently a Chick-fil-A. 😂 It’s driving me crazy — does anyone remember? Chick Fil A "gets fast food"9d agoIt's not as common as it once was, but there used to be a lot of posts of "fast food used to be fun, there was character, and value, remember what they took from us." Well last weekend a Chick Fil A opened in my parent's neighborhood, and after the fanfare that happened with it and all that I see from other people when they talk about the restaurant, I'm convinced that they are the the only major chain that understands fast food anymore (regional chains excluded, Culvers is great but they're exclusive to Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, and maybe Indiana, and the same can be said for other chains that are limited to small areas). First, value. I don't each c... Best chicken sandwich possibly the best chicken I've ever had9d agoOn the corner of Iris and 30th behind the Conoco is the Mile High Soul Food Truck I got a chicken sandwich that came with broccoli and Mac and cheese. I would've posted a picture but it didn't leave my hand until the last bite. After completing the same I escaped the wheel of chicken samsara and ascended to a higher plane of how good chicken can be. I came as a messenger to tell everyone to go support this truck IMMEDIATELY. There is no better, more buttery, juicier and or scrumptious chicken sandwich on the market popeyes, Chick-fil-A, and all others are now permanently dethroned. TL:DR Mile High Soul Food truck on 30th and Iris is really good and you should check them out. AITAH for wanting my wife to expand her diet?11d agoI 35M, and my Wife 27F, have been married for a little over 2 years now. I would say our relationship is very down to earth and pretty carefree. Which is great honestly; my previous relationships have been rough and my wife has been a breath of fresh air. The only bickering we ever have is over her eating habits. She's pretty much a meat, cheese, bread, and deserts only kind of person. She hates vegetables of all kinds (besides corn and green beans) and is extremely picky when it comes to most fruit. The only time she ever seems to want to enjoy fruit is in a smoothie pumped with a lot of sugar.. she keeps saying it's a texture issue or the flavoring is really bitter and she has ... how to make a perpetual soup?12d agoedit two but up top:i’m not making the **** soup anymore. side note but yall can be the most downtrodding group of people ive ever met editing the top to add:can yall actually answer the question please. i came to this sub figuring that yall could be helpful for a question directly related to the sub but so far the majority of the comments are just telling me not to with no real reason, telling me that im not responsible enough bc of something u deemed with no context, or only half telling me something about it. if its not food safe, tell me how. if its not worth it, tell me how. i’m not upset from the fact that im being passively insulted, im upset bc i had an idea i thought could be ... 12 High-Calorie Snacks That Actually Move the Needle on a Bulk (With Full Macros)13d agoHere's the thing nobody tells you when you start bulking: **your meals aren't the problem. Chick Fil-A Made Things Right with Me (I was the guy who posted a review of the completely wrong sandwich 😅)— story...15d agoTLDR: The first time I tried to review the new Jalapeño Chicken Club, I unknowingly was served the wrong sandwich. I never eat at chick fil an and so I just thought the bacon and jalapeños were premium toppings and I didn’t pay extra for them. Quickly this subreddit pointed out I got the completely wrong sandwich served to me. Fortunately I had footage of my sandwich and proof of my order and upon my reporting this on the chick-fil-a app, they made it right for me within a few days. I got a few QR codes sent to me, one good for a free Jalapeño club sandwich and also a couple for a free drink and a free side for my troubles. So moral of the story is that Chick-Fil-A will make it right i... What if Mars had 125 fully built cities with 92k people per city. I’m terrified to eat18d agoI took my first ever dose on Wednesday. I’ve known that diet shift would be necessary but the education I received was pretty minimal and was about focusing on hydration, high proteins and low carbs. Very silly of me but on Friday night I had Chick-fil-A mac and cheese and waffle fries, I knew it was a no but I was out with friends and could not imagine what would come next. Yesterday, Saturday I woke up with horrible gas pains than endured for 4 hours then randomly stopped for 3 hours after which, sulfur burps commenced. I ate a piece of protein toast and a chicken apple sausage bc I knew I needed protein but was scared to eat. Then the gas pains returned and this time they were worse ... Chastised by a worker18d agoI had no idea this sub existed but I thought this story would be funny to post. I am getting off work around 9, super pregnant and tired. I entered the drive through and told the person walking through the line my name, order, and that I selected the wrong car. (I’m very OCD and I have a lottt of anxiety so I was immediately embarrassed upon placing the order lol. He said no worries it happens and that he could fix it, and I was like cool and drove through. I get to the window and the guy goes “dee” and I was confused at first because my name is ends with the -ee sound so I said huh? And he said Dee again and I said what? (Silly of me but I’m tired and very low blood sugar) thi... Tantrum19d agoShelby is not allowed to have chicken anymore after finding out she has a food allergy. When I first got her as a freshman in college, I would pick up chick fil a nuggets from the food hall and bring them back to my dorm for her. Cutting her off cold turkey was a hard task and now this is the sort of response I get whenever it’s around Today is her 9th birthday so I’ll be posting more of her 😊 haha👌yes21d agoSunday Funday21d agoWoke up with these symptoms..22d agoMy beloved 14yo female pitbull mix went to bed just fine for her age, jumped up into bed with one of our teenage children. This morning when it was time to go out for her bathroom break, she couldn’t walk a straight line, she would kind of diagonally walk forward. She would stop, realize that wasn’t her intention, try again and have the same result. We had to carry her back inside as she refused to move anymore. Once inside she vomitted what looked like bile and her eyebrows are constantly doing a weird twitch. She has no appetite and no thirst. I tried to take her out again for a potty break, and tried to support her with a beach towel in a cradle like attempt to take weight off of her ...
