I’m headed to Toronto in a few weeks with a group of friends and I need some food recs as I follow the carnivore diet. We will be staying at the delta downtown and all that my friends eat are chicken tenders so they want to eat at like chick-fil-a and Popeyes etc. I however am the polar opposite . I just want to be able get a quick meat based option and go on with the day. I’m not coming at this from a place of bad faith, but I live in North Carolina, I have given Whataburger three chances, and I have been disappointed all three times. For me, it’s not really the food, though the chicken was kind of mid when I visited the second time, but rather the completely disorganized service. Whataburger definitely is the type of restaurant to where speed should be the goal, the quality of the food is better than the average fast food place like McDonald’s, so if they can get your food out in like five minutes, I would consider this to be top notch. for 24 hours, I’ve just tried to feed a stray cat that I brought in dry food and wet food. She has refused both and now she just tried to steal a chicken nugget from me from Chick-fil-A so then I got some fried chicken from the fridge and I peeled the skin off and I gave her the chicken and she ate it. I had to travel to Leeds when I learned about Chick Fil A opening a store here. I’ve visited USA last year a few times as my boyfriend lives there and we go to chick fil a multiple times a week since i’m obsessed with it. So my question was, Will it be as good? unfortunately, no. Here’s why: Firstly the service from the workers was just as nice as usa. Sorry this is very long. TLDR my texture and taste sensitivities seem to be getting worse and I'm scared. Recently I've noticed more and more issues with what foods I can and cannot stomach and it's becoming so frustrating. I'm trying to eat healthier, in a decent price range, and not take a ton of effort but the list of things that have to be right in order for me to eat is getting larger and larger and I'm worried it will become no longer sustainable. I’ve only been on my shots 4 days. The only side effect I’ve had so far is constipation. I’m working my way through that. I’ve had a very little appetite so I’ve been able to stick to eating proteins and vegetables with nice carbs. Not much of a cheese and pasta person generally, so that is easy enough to stay away from. Technically, I’m the bad eater in my office. My biggest sin is fried chicken or Chick-fil-A. Chocolate Chunk Cookie: Cookies probably are not the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Chick-fil-A or fast food in general. The only reason it caught my eye was if you are a Chik-fil-A rewards member, you can get one of these for free as a birthday treat or sometimes just as a perk for being a member (like this past December). Dec 1st I weighed in at 262. Today I’m 230.8. One month. I’m 34, 6’2, and honestly this is the first time weight loss has actually felt predictable instead of random.
