I’m currently visiting family in Canada and my iPhone 15 needed repairs. I took it to an Apple Store in Canada and they replaced the phone. I currently have 2 lines on one phone with Verizon using their second number plan. In order to take advantage of having 2 carriers I am thinking of porting my second number to att and having that be my second eSIM on my phone. I financed it at the Apple Store and it’s an iPhone 16pro. How does it work regarding locking the phone etc.. I will still have my primary eSIM be the same and remain on verizon. Will I still qualify for the payoff deal or any switcher bonus? I might also add my iPad and switch it to att as well if it gives me a better deal. Any thoughts? I'm coming from ATT and have 5 lines. I've been an ATT customer for over 20 years and in the past, their sales reps have added insurance without my knowledge many many times and I've had to call and cancel every time. Does this happen at Verizon? I'm going to a corporate store and just want to get an idea how pushy the sales people are. I'm bringing 5 new lines with 4 existing phones... I assume that should be good commission for them. How much do I need to negotiate for the prices?

Hello! I've had ATT for several years and have been using the same phone, as has my partner. I have a Galaxy S22 Ultra and they have a Pixel 6. Over the last several months, we have both seen a major downgrade in our service. Places we used to always have bars/service we now don't, especially inside places like the grocery store or the mall, but even outside it seems to fluctuate a lot more than before. For example, the other day we were at a mall and my phone had a couple bars but was very slow and my partner's phone literally said no ATT service on it and they had to go on wifi. MS-gamebar keeps popping up whenever I open a game or other application up, found a fix earlier that did stop, but few weeks later is started appearing again sporadically every now and then and now it happens everytime like before the fix. I’m a teenager with a grown up job and I’m trying to buy a phone and a phone plan. Simple as that. For some reason, every place I’ve talked to has a different answer. Three different ATT stores and two in the same store, different prices from two, all of them argue on if you can buy it outright, BYOD or buy from them. Plus their customer service cannot be reached.
