I've been given Prozac, and Lexapro so far. Both of them made my anxiety much worse. I also tried a Benzodiazepine. That also made the anxiety worse. The only medication that actually reduced my Anxiety so far was Metoprolol, but it's not an Anxiety medication. It's a blood pressure medication. But it blocks the norepinephrine receptors in the body. Basically, it blocks the effects of adrenaline. Unfortunately, i could not handle the side effects and had to stop taking it.
