Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Albertsons Latest Community Discussions About AlbertsonsWhy there no these types of debates in Indian parliament1h agoEven though Europeans admire American innovation, they fear becoming culturally dependent. They believe their values - work–life balance, privacy, social welfare, calm politics, and centuries-old cultural identity could be weakened if their digital life runs entirely through American systems propagating values like individualism, constant outrage, consumerism and hustle culture. Europeans are fighting for digital sovereignty because they see the digital world as the new frontier of identity and freedom. And even if they haven’t yet built a Facebook-sized platform of their own, the desire to control their digital destiny is stronger in Europe than almost anywhere else in the world. This... Drunk roommate again; ate a cold can of beans when I didn’t make his dinner1h ago**BACKGROUND ::** I share a rental with 2 others that are related and work part-time; I rent a room from them for a third of the rent + all domestic work and I’m disabled ( this is not a life of luxury ) roommate #1 “ Lionel “ ( not real name ) is grumpy, non-communicative AT ALL, and is AGGRESSIVE about a number of things ( earned the nickname “ laundry nazi “ about one such obsessive thing, obviously in a bad way ) .. my relationship with L is that I wish him no harm, stress myself out daily to get things done so that we don’t cross paths, and basically we do not like each other mutually roommate #2 “ John “ ( not real name ) is much more friendly but LAZY AS F\*CK with t... What they're not telling you.1h agoGood morning fellow Redditers! I am here to get out the truth about the history of humanity however I can and social media is the best for that these days. Can you imagine what life must have been like back in the time of Christ? There was no indoor plumbing... electric...no cars, buses...trains or planes. No Walmart, Grocery Stores etc. They had to walk everywhere. So it was a huge sign of respect to wash someone's feet. I know it's a thing today. Some have foot fetishes, while the others can't stand feet Beyond Alibaba: Understanding MOQs, Factory Tiers, and How to Actually Vet a Chinese Supplier1h agoWe all start on Alibaba, but it can feel like a maze of nearly identical profiles. You message ten suppliers, get ten different prices and Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs), and have no real way to tell who's legitimate. Let's break down what you're actually looking at and how to make an informed choice. 1. The Supplier Hierarchy: You're Probably Talking to a Trader This is the single most important concept to grasp. Not every "supplier" on Alibaba is a factory. The Factory: This is the facility with the machines that make your product. They often have high MOQs and can be less responsive to small buyers. Their advantage is lower cost and direct control over p... Fiction/Romance about a FMC who lives in the suburbs with her kids and a dog. Her husband has died. A man who she lost h...1h agoThe FMC is traveling ( maybe to the airport or to meet up with or go to her boyfriend). She is a virgin and is having doubts about her relationship. She meets a man (the MMC) and they end up having sex near some honeysuckle. She marries her boyfriend and they have kids and a dog. Years later, her husband has died and the man that she met and lost her virginity to ends up moving next door to her. * Every time she smells honeysuckle, it reminds her of that man. I think she even planted some honeysuckle in her yard. * She has a dog that runs away and she lures the dog back into the house with ice cream cones that she calls “Creamy Whip.” On one occasion, she is out of cones so she uses ... Places to live & your experiences1h agoHello community, living in Australia. I love the nature, beaches and countryside and cities we have access too but there is no community where I live. People are racist and cold. I want to explore other places to move to that have a sense of community, nature (not places like Dubai or LA where they are man made and full of wealth vibe) does such towns and places exist? Ones where people still hold camp fires and talk instead of sitting on their phones every day? Say hello to each other in the grocery store? Go to the pub for Sunday roasts and know everyone? It might sound soppy but I am 34 and looking for a place to build a new life and stability with genuine friends from people of all walks... Global Retail Monopolies Diversify1h agoThis is a fascinating and complex hypothetical scenario\! The premise is that a few, major global retailers—mostly e-commerce giants—have established a massive physical presence worldwide, totaling **55,000 big-box locations** (12k + 10k + 9k + 9k + 8k + 7k). Furthermore, this immense presence is now "diverse," implying they no longer operate solely as uniform warehouses but offer a range of specialized, culturally sensitive, and community-focused formats. The Bone Collector by Jeffery Deaver1h agoWent to Booksale the other day after finishing my exam. I've been looking everywhere for a copy of The Bone Collector online, but had no luck as all the listings for the book on Shopee were sold out. With how long it's been since the novel was published, I knew I had a better chance of finding the book at Booksale than I would have in National Bookstore and Fully Booked. I was tired at the time, because I was completely sleep-deprived and had spent hours wandering around SM with my mom, so I didn't exactly have the energy or patience to sift through the piles of books. So, I asked one of the employees at Booksale if they had any novels by Jeffery Deaver in stock. The employee... Where do you get your orchids1h agoI'm wondering if there are other places to get orchids from other than hausermanns Woodbridge or Chadwick and sons so where is else? Everyone else getting their orchids from and I don't mean the grocery stores Riffing on the Pomelo salad from Ottolenghis Plenty More1h agoHad friends over yesterday and we had some curry, a veganized version of the tuna curry from Comfort (I used frozen peas instead of tuna and pok choy). It was so good that I completely forgot to take a picture. To double down on the citrus flavours in the curry, I made the pomelo salad from Plenty more (p. 31). My grocery store was out of mango and pomelo, and i've never seen watercress in Germany, so I substituted a mix of oranges and grapefruit for the pomelo and mango, and arugula for the watercress. I also added a few dashes of roasted sesame oil. I don't like cilantro and accidentally added all the shallots I had to the curry paste, so those were also left out. Such a great ... Trying to Hold Things Together One Day at a Time (Ontario – Toronto)1h agoI never expected to be in this position, but life can change fast. I used to have a steady job, a small emergency fund, and I felt like I had things mostly under control. Then last year, the company I worked for shut down our entire department with barely two weeks’ notice. I figured I’d find another job quickly, but the market has been a lot tougher than I expected. It wasn’t just the job loss itself that hit hard, but how quickly my savings disappeared once EI ran out. Grocery shopping, something I never thought twice about, now comes with mental calculations about what I can stretch and what has to wait. I even stopped buying small things like take-out coffee, and now I just make t... Repeating my name over and over1h agoI feel so uncomfortable when people over use my name. There is a woman at the grocery store who is always like "Hey Steak! How are you, Steak? Did you find everything you need, Steak? Paper or plastic, Steak?" Like, yes, we know each other's names. There is no reason to say it every single time. Stocking 2 palletized trailers1h agoAnyone have their stores get 5-10 pallets of RDC that's just grocery, chemicals, and then pallets with 2,3,,40,46,74 etc. mixed in them? Do you down stack them onto the line, or do you bring them out for the team to down stack removing the need for someone wasting time on the line? My idea is that it is more efficient to bring out right next to the teams pallets, because of lane jams, waiting for the boxes to get to the lane, and it just feels unnecessary in the first place. They're on pallets which you can move. Why not bring them right there? One of my team leads has been very hard on how I "should stay in my own world". I used to be a team lead over S2 and other dept... Is Faqir Chand book store overhyped ?1h agoHonestly didn’t find anything that special or great there, just a regular book store with great aesthetics. But I do like the vibe Khan market shares 50/52 Never let me go by Ishiguro1h agoI am going to let this book go, actually. You know when you watch a movie set in space, and in that movie all the extras are futuristic machines. Never once have I thought to myself "I'd love to read a book about the life of those extra side characters", I'm just not wired to consume sci-fi on an immersed level. Or on any level. I also don't love hugely detailed stories. Like mud on a sweater and walking to the grocery store and stuff. It's unrewarding for my sense of being a reader. Which means that currently, I'm in a bit of a reading slump after the last few books have failed to move me, so I'm solely inspired by the sheer fact that I'll re... Want to commit. Not sure what to do1h ago99% of my conscious life I’ve been in an absolute state of panic every day. For context, I have emetophobia, agoraphobia anxiety, depression, ptsd, adhd, panic disorder and ocd. I know it sounds fake, but I have been diagnosed with every single thing on that list. I can’t leave my house, I can’t go to school, I can’t make friends, I am stuck in my room. Even going onto my couch is hard for me. I am dying inside. I can’t go into a grocery store. My mind is plagued by many voices, it doesn’t get better. Ive tried many meds (despite my terrible fear of them) EVERY therapy. (emdr, erp, act, normal talk therapy, etc) Not only do i have those mental disorders, but i also get terrible ... Anyone want to be friends?1h agoNever thought I'd make a post like this ever in my life, but here I am. All my best friends have moved out of Bellingham and I am here to stay. I still keep in touch with them, but I never get to actually hangout with them in person (except for 1 who visits every now and then). I had a different group of "friends" I hung out with for a few years but they were bad influences so I removed myself a couple years ago. Since then I've undergone a drastic change in lifestyle and pulled myself out of alcoholism and depression. After that I had terrible anxiety whenever I went out and I didn't realize how bad my anxiety was because I think I was self medicating it with alcoho... 🛡︠Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
