My partner and I have our own mobile app business. We’re both females in our mid 40s. We hired a girl (early 20s) to help with some marketing when we began. She is still with us and had no computer tech skills when she began. We’ve also never met her in person! We hope to hire some more females who can code (or do other things) for mobile apps. All are written in Flutter now. Some of our apps just need touch ups, but we also have 3-4 almost finished ones, and many others started in some way. We only work for ourselves (we’re not hired by others to make apps for them). It’s work from home, wherever home is. Hourly pay depending on skills. Need help with coding (even knowing enough abo...

If you’re still struggling in dropshipping, it’s not because the market is hard. It’s because you’ve been lying ...

Here’s the part nobody ever says out loud because it kills the fantasy: 1. You’re not “testing.” You’re avoiding responsibility. Burning $200, $500, $1,000 on ads isn’t testing — it’s you paying to stay delusional. You throw money at random products hoping the platform will make you right. When it doesn’t, you blame the platform because blaming yourself would break you. ⸻ 2. You chase winning products because it’s easier than admitting you don’t understand people. Everyone thinks the secret is the “right product.” It’s not. It’s the right psychology. But learning human psychology is hard, so beginners avoid it. They’d rather watch “TOP 10 WINNING PRODUC...

I (33f) have been crumbling for a year due to my husband's (32m) outbursts and I don't know what to do.

2h ago

My husband and I have been together for 12 years, married for 4. When we first got together, he was the frattiest of frat boys, only without the college part. I come from a pretty abusive and neglectful background, and I also moved around a lot, which left me being super isolated and not very good at forming actual relationships with people. We met through a coworker of mine, and we had fun together, but things were always weird. I should also say that there's a good chance I'm on the spectrum, and my husband likely has adhd - we're both in the processes for official diagnoses. I say all this because I expect some weirdness, but I'll never know how weird is too weird on m...

How big or small are Marsmellows?

Just curious what other people think? I believe they’re the size of those jumbo marshmallows at a grocery store.

Website Speed Optimization: 15 Ways to Improve Your Website Performance

2h ago

Your website takes 5 seconds to load. In those 5 seconds, you've already lost 40% of your visitors. They've closed the tab, moved to a competitor, and you'll never get them back. This isn't a future problem. This is happening right now to slow websites across the internet. **Website speed optimization** isn't just about making your site feel faster. It's about survival in a digital landscape where every millisecond matters. **Google** uses page speed as a ranking factor. Users abandon slow sites without hesitation. Conversions drop dramatically with each second of delay. Your website performance directly impacts your bottom line, search rankings, and user sa...

Meadow lane burnt lasagna

2h ago

I am sorry if literally the lasagna you are publicising on your tiktok is borderline burnt I can’t believe what they are serving their customers. Also wanted to shoutout crinthecity for calling them out for their 45 dollars worth of bread. My coworker who is an old lady that has lived in Tribeca all her life went out of curiosity and Sammy spoke very rudely with her. It’s clear he only cares about influencers and celebrities. I am also so surprised he hasn’t responded to the homeless picture post on their Instagram, so disgusting and this dystopian tiny grocery store should shut down soon

Easy low-cal sides to go with frozen chicken tenders?

2h ago

Due to combination of small apartment/little time, I eat a lot of frozen/prepared food. Fruit, yogurt, frozen curry/rice/pasta bowls, chicken tacos from trader joes, etc. But recently I've been eating more frozen chicken tenders, since I've found they are really filling for the calories, while being super simple to air fry and being still pretty appetizing. I have a bunch of hot sauces / mustard to spice them up a bit without adding more calories. They still don't really feel like a 'meal' though, and I also think I should probably eat more vegetables. Does anyone have suggestions for quick/easy sides I can eat with chicken tenders? Preferably more veggie-...

Personal Ad: Relearning the Shape of Myself I’m Ron — 43, single dad, Houston native, survivor of hurricanes both literal and emotional. A man who’s been left abruptly, and who’s finally ready to stop pretending it didn’t shake him. It did. I’m rebuilding confidence one brick at a time, and I’m realizing I want something simple to help remind me of who I used to be: a date. A moment. A connection that sparks, even if it’s small. Something that says yeah, I still have it. I’m not here chasing fairy tales or trying to replace anyone. I’m just a good man who’s been hurt, a man who’s raising his daughter, working hard, and rediscovering the part of himself that knows ho...

Decentralized should be buffed indirectly by encouraging estate-based gameplay

2h ago

One playthrough that I hope to try is a free-market based England where I empower the burghers and let them do all the building for me. That said, estates building is a lot less efficient than crown building when it should be the other way around (at least in western free-market theory, which this game should model over the state-capitalist theory which is still being tested by China rn) To mitigate this, and make estate building a more desirable choice, the game should: 1) just use the Vicky 2 edicts where one can encourage the building of certain industries in certain locations to increase the chance of estates building the type of building in that location. It can even be a cabinet a...

I’m Not Getting Good Sleep.

2h ago

It’s been a while. I haven’t posted in several weeks. No, I was not banned. No, I didn’t get arrested. Just burnt out from working two jobs, plus having chronic pain return… to the point where I walk with a limp at times… Recently my kitchen kept flooding and my neighbor had to call a plumber. **** ruined my ******* day. Tensions with my roommates are getting me to the point where I’m starting to become angrier and angrier at them and at life. It’s just getting too much… I recently lashed out at one of my roommates during a petty argument, called him a ***** after he told me he’d defend himself… whatever… I’m getting tired of both roommates, one is constantly angry b...

What are my next steps?

2h ago

Today I (23 F) brung my car to a tire shop to get a free alignment check after I noticed my car was driving a little funny. They had so many other customers, so It took about an hour or 2 to get out of there. They told me everything looked good and I was able to go on my way. About 3 hours later (I ran to a 2 grocery stores then back home), I discovered these new marks on the rear of my car. It looks too perfect to have been caused by someone or something random. I’m going to call them first thing in the Morning, however I’m not too much of a confrontational person and I feel like I need to be. I’m not sure how to approach this considering I have no **** proof or before pictures of ...

how are some people snagging Stone Island jackets fo like half the normal price without it looking sketchy

2h ago

ve been seeing Stone Island jackets listed online for crazy low prices, like way below retail, and it’s making me wonder how people are actually getting them. Are they finding secret sales, grabbing returns, or using some kind of tech hack to snag deals before anyone else? I know resale markets exist, but some of these deals look too good to be legit, yet they don’t seem sketchy. Is there a method to the madness, like insider connections with stores, early access to auction listings, or just crazy timing? I’m genuinely curious how people manage to score these without it looking like a scam. Lowkey, I’d love to know the tricks behind it.

Share a slice of your journey or just ordinary daily van/motorhome life! Post a photo from wherever you are today or this week - or just tell us something about it! Could be a campsite, a park up, a border crossing, a random grocery store car park, or the view out your window while you’re making coffee. Bonus points if you add a note about where you are and what you’re up to so the rest of us can get a glimpse of your travels! A few ideas if you’re stuck: • Today’s view from your motorhome or van • A cool spot you found by accident • A campsite you recommend (or don’t) • A small detail that made the day better • Something you wish you knew before arriving ...

A supermarket for people who have actually gone grocery shopping before and know how things work

2h ago

I was in the express line at the grocery store this morning behind a woman with a full shopping cart and a woman who didn't know how to use a credit card machine. (The one express line split off into two checkouts). While waiting for them for several minutes, I watched four or five people go through the non-express lane checkout. Now look, I understand these people exist in society, but wouldn't it be nice to have a grocery store for people who have gone shopping a few times before. p.s. there were no self-serve checkouts at this particular store. Maybe that's my fault for not going to a store that had self-serve, but let's be honest we've all seen people who have ...

Is there anything I can eat anymore?

3h ago

What can I bring to work every day and eat in my car that isn't trying to kill me? I make sandwiches with multi-grain, or at least whole wheat bread, only olive oil-mayo or mustard, and some leaf lettuce or other greens, and sliced turkey or chicken from the grocery store deli. Now I find out that sliced turkey and chicken has nitrates and nitrites. That's why I don't eat processed meats like ham, bacon, or sausage. I generally don't eat red meat. Is there anything safe to eat besides peanut butter and bananas?

Holiday Closing Adjustment to 8 PM

3h ago

In the Northeast Region, we’re all aligned on one thing: we are significantly overspent on labor year-to-date, and the upcoming holiday period—where execution and standards matter most—will only intensify the pressure. Every store is being asked to do more with less, yet we know operationally this creates a direct conflict: either we protect the budget and sacrifice standards, or we protect standards and overspend the budget. What I want to propose is a data-aligned, morale-supportive, and financially responsible solution: All non-holiday stores in the Northeast temporarily shift to an 8 PM closing time beginning the day after Thanksgiving through January 1st. I’m not basing this o...
