A few months back, I was looking at cheapfragrances at a grocery store. It was stuff like Duke Cannon. I probably don't need to tell you all that it was all godawful. All of the fragrances I saw should hav been distinct, but all had this harsh, bitter, head that never seemed to resolve into anything distinct. Is that just the smell of the alcohol or is there some fragrance that extremely cheap "perfumers" are using that is supposed to be just a note but ends up overwhelming everything else? I could also just be overthinking it! What do you all say?

I don’t have a car so all of my grocery trips are done via bus. Yesterday I arrived to the grocery store to find a packed and traffic-jammed parking lot, it was a mess to say the least. Most stores seem to have this issue in the week leading up to major holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving, where the parking lot does not have the capacity to meet the demand (although this happens frequently on normal weeks too). I’m 90 days post op, and almost out of the multivitamins I received from my surgeon. I do not need iron and I’m getting my calcium in tablet form 3x a day, so I don’t need those in the supplement. I have been making mixes to have on hand instead of buying them. I made my favorite scone recipe into a mix that, according to other websites, can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 months. Not that it will be in there that long. I used a copycat of the Puyallup Fair Fisher Scone. We used to wait in line every year to get them. The mix at the grocery store is $6.99.
