Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Albertsons Latest Community Discussions About AlbertsonsReview of Scott ComfortPlus Toilet Paper, 12 Double Rolls, 231 Sheets per Roll, Septic-Safe, 1-Ply Toilet Tissue2h agoThe listing says 12 double rolls, 231 sheets per roll, 1-ply, septic-safe, and it’s only $6.49. That sounds like a steal until you notice the fine print: the rolls are 1-ply, so you’re getting less paper than the name suggests, and the “comfort” claim is mostly marketing talk. The math is simple: 12 rolls × 231 sheets = 2,772 sheets, or about 0.23 cents per sheet. That’s cheaper than store-brand single-ply, but it’s still 1-ply, so you’re trading thickness for price. If you have a low-flow toilet or a septic system that’s sensitive to thicker paper, this might be a safe bet. If you just want the cheapest roll that won’t clog the pipes, this is it. Just don’t expect it to... Would you ever purchase a framed puzzle?2h agoI was on vacation last week and stumbled upon this puzzle store in a mall where I was visiting. They were selling completed framed puzzles in addition to many boxed puzzles. I thought maybe it was to show people that they offered custom framing, but nope they had prices and were ready to sell. And they were not cheap. So got me thinking, is there really a market for this? I’ve personally framed a couple favs but I usually disassemble and donate. I would never buy a framed puzzle, it takes the fun out of it! Thoughts? California NFT Marketing Strategies: Data-Driven 2025 Guide2h ago# Overview California remains a testing ground for many emerging Web 3 initiatives, and several factors shape how non-fungible tokens are promoted inside the state. Dense venture capital networks, a sizable pool of creators, and one of the nation’s strictest privacy frameworks create conditions that differ noticeably from broader U.S. trends. The outline below summarizes how teams in 2025 are approaching strategy, compliance, and growth when launching or scaling an NFT project in the Golden State. ## Distinct Market Conditions in California - **Early mainstream familiarity**: Large segments of California’s tech workforce already understand digital asset basics, lowering the need for int... Starting your story at the latest possible point. What it means, how to do it, and why it works.2h ago*[This isn't meant to be prescriptive advice. You can do it or not do it. You also don't need to shout down advice simply because it's different than what you do.]* So, you've got a great story all planned out, but you don't know how to start. Here's what most successful writers are doing in the industry right now, and what most agents, editors, and readers are responding to. **What does it mean to start your story at the latest possible point?** The current trend in crafting fiction is towards propulsion. That means stories move forward at a strong pace. Shorter and simpler, it means things happen fast, often, and with consequences. Starting your story a... Cheap Pork Stew (My own recipe based very loosely off ingredients from another recipe)2h agoI had a pork shoulder I was needing to use, and being that it’s cold up here in the Midwest USA, I decided to VERY LOOSELY follow a recipe I came upon. When I bought the pork shoulder roast it was $2.39/lb, and was about 2.75 lbs. Ingredients: Pork (cubed and set aside for searing- pork should roasts tend to work best but any boneless pork should be fine) 1 1/2 yellow onion, diced fine 4-5 carrots, peeled and diced 4-5 stalks of celery, diced 6 mini sweet bell peppers, seeded and diced 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and diced into small cubes 4-5 russet potatoes, peeled and diced into small cubes (put both of the potatoes in cold, salty water to keep from discoloring) Fresh green beans w... No more **** but struggling with lust2h agoI struggle really badly with lust. I haven't watched **** in years, since I quit drinking so that's great. I'm happily married 18 years, my husband is great, everything is great. But I find myself just looking at men all the time. All kinds of men. Younger, older, heavy, thin, hairy, bald, doesn't matter. I just love looking at them and appreciating them. 😫 I just really enjoy it. But I feel terrible, because I know that's lust and my husband would be disgusted and hurt. But it's automatic! At the grocery store, at the dentist, at church, on TV, movies, the weather station? 😫😫 they're just everywhere. Of course they are? What would all these rand... [0 YoE, Unemployed, Data Science/Analysis, United States of America]2h agoHi, I'm applying to new grad/entry level roles in data science, analysis, engineering, etc. I'm not getting any interviews and I'm curious if my resume has any glaring issues. I understand its not the strongest, do you think improved projects (with more depth) would help? Open to all ideas/help/criticism. Thanks! edit: I am a U.S. Citizen and don't need sponsorship Real partners, not pitch-deck logos2h agoMost small caps love to drop big-brand logos in their decks. Half the time it means someone once answered an email. This is different. Forbes just spelled it out in plain language: According to Forbes, NextNRG (NXХT) already provides fueling services and trucking support for Amazon (AMZN) and Kroger (KR). That is not a vague “strategic relationship.” That is day-to-day operational work inside two of the largest logistics and food networks in the country. Kroger alone did about 147 billion dollars in sales in 2024. It runs roughly 2,700 to 2,800 stores across 35 states and D.C., employs around 409,000 people and serves more than 11 million customers every single day. Add Amazon... ‘I regret my vote’: Trump’s megabill could ‘wipe out’ my local grocery store by SNAP cuts2h agoThe Downtown Reno Dilemma with Elephants Hovering All Around2h agoWith all the repeated talk from our city council members about going after “bad actors” to reenergize our diminished downtown, there is very little action to actually go after them or think big picture. What of the highly touted at City Hall Business Improvement District, doesn’t it get any blame at this point, seven years into its existence? To be fair, there have been more weekend and nighttime vendor party type events where downtown comes alive in a communal sense. It’s the day to day that looks drab. Casinos will throw their own occasional outdoor parties but their aim is to keep patrons inside their own dark interiors. Low end motels, pawn shops and trinket and alcohol corner... How to know if we’re still in a Pokemon bull market?2h agoSimplest explanation: you go to the store and someone has already bought the Prismatic mini-tins, hardly any thing is in stock, and no products are on sale. If we ever enter a bear market again you’ll know because nobody will be buying the set with the worst pull rates ever (Prismatic) and packs will be on sale everywhere. That’s what 2022-2024 bear market was like. Everyone trades AMZN and KR but ignores the energy name under both2h agoMost of the market watches Amazon and Kroger for earnings and guidance. They track cloud margins, grocery inflation, same store sales and buybacks. Almost nobody pays attention to the smaller names that keep those machines moving. According to Forbes, NextNRG (NXXT) already provides fueling services and trucking support for Amazon (AMZN) and Kroger (KR). That sentence alone changes the profile of what NXXT actually is. Kroger on its own is huge. Roughly 147 billion dollars in annual sales. Between 2,700 and 2,800 stores in 35 states and D.C. Around 409,000 employees and more than 11 million customers per day. It sits at the center of the U.S. food supply chain, with large cold storage ... A micro-cap sitting inside two giants’ supply chains2h agoForbes just casually dropped a line that the market has not processed yet. According to Forbes, NextNRG (NXXT) already provides fueling services and trucking support for Amazon (AMZN) and Kroger (KR). This is the first time Kroger has ever been named publicly as a partner. No separate press release. No big marketing push. Just a quiet line in a long article about the food system’s energy problem. Kroger is not a side character. It is one of the biggest food retailers on the planet. Around 147 billion dollars in annual sales in 2024. Roughly 2,700 to 2,800 supermarkets and multi department stores across 35 U.S. states and D.C. About 409,000 employees. More than 11 million customers pe... The Weight of Ashes2h agoRobert Hayes never expected to feel joy again after Anna died. Some nights, he still woke reaching for her, fumbling blindly through the darkness for a hand that would never be there again. Grief, he realized, had a smell: old clothes, cold sheets, unopened mail. Just before Anna’s passing, the twins had been born; tiny, furious fists clenching at the air. Every new day with them had felt like a second chance. Emma, with her mother's green eyes and fierce little laugh. Samuel, quieter, thoughtful even as an infant, furrowing his brow like he was trying to solve the world's problems. They filled the house with life again. Noise. Color. Robert cooked terrible pancakes every Sunda... Spillover Commerce: Spend Once, Profit Twice - Part 22h agoPart 2 of the Spillover Commerce playbook below. The first post, we make a case for what it is, and why it is so powerful. In this section, we are going to outline exactly what steps you need to take in order to make this work! Implementation Overview - Step-by-Step If you just skipped here without reading anything else, because you just wanted the playbook, it’s below. However, I want to give you the chance to catch up, in bullet point form, because some of the stuff I said was important. * We want to advertise on Meta to a Shopify store, and let the spillover traffic hit Amazon * This allows us to sell at higher prices than our competitors, while spending less on ads * It also gives ... Grocery store receipt integrations2h agoI was looking into the 4 common stores I use and was wondering if anyone had some integrations setup somehow. One benefit is price tracking which I do not normally use when doing Purchase. Safeway, Costco, Grocery Outlet, Whole Foods Each store uses different methods, with Costco using JSON but custom item numbers, Safeway with nice JSON and meta data like sale prices, Whole Foods (Amazon) presenting HTML, and Grocery Outlet being the worst were the items are only on a receipt PDF served from Google (OCR and processing needed). There is also the challenge of the item names or barcodes not aligning with the DB and getting new items, so I realize the full workflow is not trivial. What would Jesus do?2h agoMy credit card had $1300 in fraudulent charges over 2 days. I also have a caregiver in the home. In no way did I think it was her. We had a fantastic relationship. And when once I questioned something, she had texted me that she talked to her hb and had cried so hard because she thought I was saying she did this. I opened a police report bc only they could view store video to show that it wasn’t her. And sadly, I googled her. Turns out she has a record. It appears that at the age of 22 ( now 36) she was involved in a burglary. And only three years ago, a warrant had been out for her arrest, and she was caught and was incarcerated. I do not know how long this warrant had been out, nor how ... How to Store Cut Veggies?2h agoI'm trying to get into meal prepping due to a busy schedule. I can only go to the market once or twice a week, so I buy all the needed veggies in one go. So far, I've found a hack to store minced garlic and onions in a slush jar and herbal greens in a pot of water. Does anyone have hacks for other cut veggies like root crops, leafy greens, etc.? Would storing them all generally in jars (either in water or without) be a good idea? I don't have a big enough freezer, so fridge storage is preferable. I appreciate any and all ideas! At what scale do cash flow and ops become real problems ?2h agoFor those who have scaled a store: * At what monthly revenue or order volume did operations start to feel difficult to control? * When did cash flow management become more complex than simple profit vs. expense tracking? * What became the biggest constraint first: * Inventory * Marketing spend * Fulfillment * Or team/process overhead? Looking to understand where the real breaking point appears during rapid growth from people who have actually experienced it. Spillover Commerce - Strategy Overview - Part 12h agoWhat do Grüns, and Hatch (alarm clocks) have in common? If you said “best seller badges” you’d be missing the point. https://preview.redd.it/g7q9msypj06g1.png?width=940&format=png&auto=webp&s=705175e655f50023c799bddf1b02467ebc69dcec They have figured out the new playbook that we see as the future for eCommerce brands. Hatch is using it be the best seller, in a category where they compete DIRECTLY WITH AMAZON (Echo Glow), while being at least 2x the price. https://preview.redd.it/9no23jprj06g1.png?width=940&format=png&auto=webp&s=aef7b0e112874d0087f839bf4585eb50c86e5be4 The best part is this playbook solves all of the problems that A... 🛡︠Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
