I have had several versions of oven gloves, from the "As Seen on TV" versions as well as ones from grocery stores and found on Amazon that claim to be heat resistant over 500°F, and some saying above 900 degrees. My experience is that these are not reliable claims. I started growing a grocery store pineapple plant about 7 years ago... Never paid that much attention to it.
