Ace Hardware Locations

I started working at an ace hardware store back in October after a couple of years I went without working a steady job. I work 45 hours a week and make just over $700 that I get paid every Saturday. I am super tired by the time I get out. I’ve been thinking about how much more energy I might have to do other things if I quit to just do Uber on certain times of the week. All I have to make is about 12 grand a year to get by. I live frugally and my housing expenses are not much. My market is South Florida. I’m not asking for advice, I just want to read other people’s experience with making a decision like this. Thank you

I have a 6ft long braided stainless supply line with 3/8” compression fittings at both ends. One of the rubber washers is cracked, and I figured it would be easy to pull it out and replace, but the Ace hardware store folks seem to think the washers can’t be replaced. Is this true? The application is temporary —to test a rebuilt coffee machine in my workspace. Once machine is tested, a new (shorter) supply line would be installed in the kitchen for long term.

For reference I wear my earbuds 4-8hrs a day. A Couple months back I made a post about how much I dislike my ultra earbuds. I spent a $150 on my Jay bird vista 2’s and they lasted me years with no hiccups. Then I went with the Sony WF xm4’s which were great until I lost one. Instead of replacing the ear bud I splurged on the Bose. They have been a headache since day 1. I had to get them replaced 3 times under the year warranty. Whether it be a charging case fail or ear bud failure. Only positive is the Warranty was easy and painless. I've been working on creating a budget set up in my toaster. Thought l'd share some of my progress here for inspiration for others! I wanted to be able to keep the seats with me as I don't have a great place to store them right now. I was thinking about storing jackets and warm layers in between the seats and the window just to make use of some of that empty space. Anyone know of stores that have shovels and/or ice melt in stock? I walked about a mile yesterday to get to the metro and the sidewalks are abysmal but honestly after spending three hours trying to split up the ice on the sidewalk outside of my apartment it's pretty impossible to remove at this point. Ran out of salt on Monday and both shovels hit the sack this afternoon. I've called all Ace hardwares in NW and NE, and nearly all grocery stores. Have also checked Lowe's and Home Depot. Hoping someone knows of a corner store or something with a magic supply :/ Would be extra special and wonderful if this supply happens to be near Petworth ✨🤞

I have (1) glass window pane to replace in an inside French door in my century home. 8 1/2 in. X 13 1/2 in. X 1/8 in. thick. I plan on replacing the glass myself. I have called some window companies/glass companies in the Columbus Ohio area and the estimates have been too expensive for a piece of glass ($70), or the job has been to small for them to even take. Where do you source your glass? Am I not calling the right companies? Are there big box stores that do this? Ace Hardware has glass cutting services but not for my size.

I would ask in the ace hardware sub but it’s pretty much dead. I have an ace hardware 20% off coupon for this weekend. I want to get the Milwaukee m12 3/8 brushed ratchet. I'm shipping my old 50+ lb puppy to the states on Sunday via Amerijet and have been asking around to see anyone is selling their used kennel. We only have a wire crate, which is not travel compliant. Given the size and weight of our 7-month-old pup, we are looking for a large 36" kennel.
