I visited Phila last December. Before I moved away, I used to live at 17th and pine Street. I tried to find a Wawa store at all the usual spots I knew they once were, every single one of them was closed down. I asked a local woman why they’re all shut down and she said crime had gotten out of control, and shoplifting was so rampant. So I’m wondering is the situation any better, it seems so crazy to be in a big city and not have a convenience store to buy a simple cup of coffee and an egg sandwich!

Both from Pennsylvania, the convenience store chains Sheetz and Wawa each have distinct and mostly non-overlapping territories. Sheetz stores are mostly located in the west, while Wawa stores are primarily in the east.

Last night (10/7) around 11 PM, I saw a bunch of squad cars surround a beat up Uhaul van behind a Wawa store on University (between the station and that little retention pond). As I'm filling up my bike, I hear hi revs followed by a loud bang and I see the van running right towards me, taking a sharp turn and disappearing into the night. Seemed to be driven by a brown-ish skinned guy with a long beard. One squad car was rammed into the back of Wawa, seemed beat up pretty bad. The deputy was OK. we're opening the first wawa store in my state and I just started training. im ordering my 3 free employee shirts so I can get 3 more after my birthday in a couple months but im also ordering a uniform hat from the merch store which you have to pay full price and shipping for. the hat I want isn't a payroll deduction item it seems so I was just going to order and pay now but the shipping is the same price as the hat coming out to about $25 total. does anyone have goose pride store promo codes? all the ones I looked up dont work (of course they never do) and i dont have enough goosebumps yet. thanks in advance if anyone has something!

as my title suggests, i (16m) was at wawa with my dad to get gas + go inside to order food n drink. as we’re pumping gas, a guy walks halfway to me and i BELIEVE he asks “can you help us? me and my girlfriend are stuck here with no gas.” my dad dismisses him , saying we don’t have anything to help him, obviously cause we don’t know what he truly needed or what his true intentions were, (my assumption would be that he needed gas money?), so we moved and parked our car in front of the wawa store in a proper parking spot, instead of just walking into the store after pumping gas like normally. his girlfriend is sitting in the drivers seat and their car is just parked at the gas pump,...

I just came across this wawa phenomenon about a store in Seattle WA. My friend who was visiting someone in Seattle was trying to find a convenience store and got the address for a Wawa. As he knew how much I loved the store being from the philly suburbs he sent me the listing on apple maps. Interestingly enough the store does not show up on the wawa map, BUT if you look up store 9834 it shows the location as being 410 Terry Ave N in Seattle. I couldn't find anything on street view but the building seems to be a large corporate office with retail space on the bottom. Can anyone explain this?
