Self-styled gurus hand out mantras on WhatsApp, install their photographs and consecrated idols in the homes of thousands of disciples, and collect what they call "guru dakshina", while most sincere devotees have no idea that what they have actually done is open the most intimate pranic channel known to the Tantras and handed over the keys of their inner life to a stranger. This article exists because the scriptures, the very Kularnava, the very Atharvana, the very Rudra Yamala that most of these gurus quote, state in unmistakable terms what happens when the \*wrong\* person sits at the other end of that channel. The tradi... Tiffin Service Business (Suggestions and Advice)19m agoHello all, A relative of mine is planning to start a tiffin service in and around the **Baner** area. He was laid off a few months ago for the second time, and it’s made him lose trust in corporate jobs. Now, he wants to build something of his own with his family. For those who have used or run tiffin services before, I’d really appreciate your insights: * What worked well? * What didn’t? * As a regular customer, what do you expect from a service like this? * Anything you think will help building a better business Of course, things like good food, clean packag... My dad has cancer and cannot chew his food, any recipe ideas?29m agoAs the title says, my dad has stage 4 pancreatic cancer and chewing makes him gag. The main foods he can eat right now are: top ramen (crushed up so he doesn’t have to chew it), yogurt, protein shakes, and spaghetti-os for some reason. He is repulsed by milk, cheese, and ice cream, yogurt seems to be the only dairy he can eat, he is sensitive to smell, allergic to onions, and meat overall seems to be a no-go. I’d like to be able to make him some good tasting food that also is very high in calories as he is struggling to take enough in right now. Any ideas at all would be so appreciated, thank you ❤️ PM FME scheme explained - 35% subsidy for food processing businesses, most people don't know how to apply29m agoThe PM Formalisation of Micro Food Enterprises(PM FME) scheme is one of the most underutilized government schemes in agribusiness right now. Here's a practical breakdown of what it covers and how to actually apply: What is PM FME? A centrally sponsored scheme that provides credit-linked subsidy for micro food processing units across India, whether you're an individual entrepreneur, SHG member, or FPO. What does it fund? \- Plant and machinery upgrades \- Packaging improvements \- Branding and marketing support \- Common infrastructure for FPOs and SHGs The numbers: \- 35% subsidy on eligible project cost \- Maximum subsidy: ₹10 lakh per individual unit \- FPOs and SHG... I spent all morning working on a natural cake recipe for some cupcakes. The batter looked beautiful and vibrant going into the pan. I pulled them out of the oven twenty minutes later and the crumb looked exactly like wet concrete. A friend explained the food chemistry to me and I feel like an *****. The purple yam contains natural pigments that are highly sensitive to pH changes. I used a heavy hand with my baking soda. Baking soda is alkaline and it immediately turns the purple vegetable starch green or grey when it gets hot. I have to remake the entire batch using baking powder instead to keep the acidity right. I am glad I used pure ube superfood powder inst... Absent selves33m agoThis is more for some of you than others, and that's all right. Freeze is an umbrella term, it covers many things. If you mainly experience the "gas and brakes both at 100%" side of it, you'll probably relate more to my [Tonic Immobility](https://www.reddit.com/r/CPTSDFreeze/comments/1qz6u66/tonic_immobility_what_it_is_and_how_to_work_with/) post. # Flavours of dissociation [Structural dissociation](https://www.reddit.com/r/CPTSDFreeze/comments/1sj9a28/what_is_structural_dissociation_really/) tends to come in two broad flavours, though they often take turns, mix and blend. **Intrusion-heavy** is the one you'll typically see in trauma spaces, DID/OSDD subs and so o... Ninoa - Symptom tracking for Psoriasis34m agoHey everyone, I've had psoriasis since childhood. Like most of you, I've spent years trying to figure out what makes it worse and what helps. Dermatologist appointments are 15 minutes, and I could never remember what I ate, how I slept, or what triggered my last flare. So I built an app called Ninoa. It's a daily tracker where you log things like food, stress, sleep, weather, and your skin condition - and over time it finds patterns and correlations specific to YOU. Not generic advice from Google, but insights based on your own data. It supports psoriasis and 9 other skin conditions (eczema, rosacea, vitiligo, and more). A few things it does: ... Brets Onion Chips from France 🧅36m agoI know that this sub is is mostly about recipes and not industrial onion food, but I need to share this. I stopped eating chips years ago but when finding these Brets onion chips at a holiday in France, I fell in love again. Just high quality chips which taste much better than all other chips brands. Just got back & loved it SO much (first time visiting also vegan)37m agoMy partner & I just got back after our first time going; we did Beijing > Shanghai > Hangzhou > Huangshan > Beijing We were always excited about going, but must admit the closer it got to us leaving, the more nervous and apprehensive we got mostly due to so many people around us with their preconceptions/lack of knowledge about China (especially when it came to eating plantbased). When I say, the most stressful situation we had (which was very short lived) was probably JUST when we landed in Beijing and our phones didn’t seem to be setting up with data (it was us not turning mobile data on lol) everything after that genuinely felt easier than when we h... Homemade peanut and sunflower seed butter.43m agoFor the last several months, I've been buying raw peanuts and sunflower seeds, toasting them in the air fryer, and then using my small KitchenAid 3-cup food processor to churn the seeds into peanut and sunflower seed butter.I don't use my food processor because the base is too small and would be a pain in the butt to scrape this nut seed butter from. Are there any others who do this and make their own so they know what's in their nut and seed butters? Does anybody have any tips or suggestions? Why hay fever sufferers have it worse than ever43m agoIf your eyes are streaming and your nose won’t stop running, brace yourself: it is only going to get worse. Researchers say the hay fever season has become longer, bringing with it more severe symptoms. The Lancet Countdown in Europe 2026 report has found that the high-pollen season now lasts two weeks longer than it did in the 1990s, increasing both the exposure time to allergens and the severity of symptoms for hay fever sufferers. Hay fever occurs when a person is allergic to pollen from trees, grass and weeds. Symptoms tend to be worse when the weather is warm, humid and windy – when the pollen count is at its highest, usually between late March and September. ‘Climate change h... I'm becoming a bit worried about a recent shift in our cat's behavior. She is almost 6 years old, neutered, and healthy, except for a slightly fatty liver, which we are managing with her vet using special food & meds. She is very anxious and scared of strangers and other animals; the only people she fully trusts are my partner and me. She is not the most affectionate, but she likes some cuddles, spending time together in the same room, sleeping on my head or by our legs, and playing. She also loves food. Gradually over the last 2 weeks, she has withdrawn a lot. We realized we don't see her often, she doesn't hang out with us, and she prefers lying in her... Permaculture designer business51m agoI am looking to start a farm design consulting company in a rural poor country. I have multiple yrs of gardening experience and found the work rewarding while having a full time night time job. The country lacks proper crop selection, organic fertilizer production like compost or worm tea, lacks more effective food forest principles and stacking of functions and many young people are leaving for the city. The farm town sits on a river and there are old Canals some rudimentary ditch like Canals to flood irrigate. I wanted to have a farm and do an intense food forest with dates, mangos, Coconuts, rice potentially, ducks and fish is possible. But the cost of land is high and the added cost of s... Could unexplained fatigue, insomnia, and weight gain be connected to implants, inflammation, and hormone changes?52m ago# Could unexplained fatigue, insomnia, and weight gain be connected to implants, inflammation, and hormone changes? *(Based on a recent interview with Dr. Shila Sayana about perimenopause, menopause, chronic inflammation, and implant readiness –* [*https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlyTG0b9CGM*](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlyTG0b9CGM)*)* A question I keep coming back to is this: when a woman is dealing with fatigue, insomnia, weight gain, bloating, hair changes, or just a general sense that something is off, are we looking at the full picture or only one piece of it? In this conversation with Dr. Shila Sayana, we discussed how easy it is for chronic symptoms to get separated into nea... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
