With the view of the presidium being that, with the recent German and French acquisition of nuclear weaponry, the odds of direct nuclear conflict have increased substantially, the Soviet Union must be in a position where it maintains an absolute superiority in nuclear arms. Accordingly, efforts will be undertaken across the entirety of the nuclear industry to ensure the successful defense of global socialism. The presidium has chosen to break nuclear weapons down into two rough categories, Strateg... MM.111 root stock crabapple/planting depth2h agoHi everyone, I just planted my first apple tree (bare root, Chestnut Crab on MM.111 EMLA) and I’m not second guessing my efforts the more reading I do. I didn’t get a ton of feedback over in backyard orchards, so I figured I’d ask here as well. From my googling, it seems like a much debated topic… I have always been told that when planting a tree, you want the highest roots in the root ball to be within 1-2” from the surface of the soil for proper aeration, and that you never want to “bury the trunk” or plant too deeply as this can suffocate the roots and induce rot. It seems like many grafted orchard tree providers recommend planting trees based on the height of the gra... Feel like a burden2h agoHi I am 23, F. I've had agoraphobia for 3.5 years. I live alone. My agoraphobia is in 6 different modes. 1)either housebound. 2)Room bound. 3) Go out attached to hip with my safe person 4) Can out alone with 3-7days recovery at home between (rare) 5)Can go to families houses but not public 6)House bound, no blinds open, can't answer door At the moment I am no.6 and have been since November. I have a safe person who buys me food because I am terrified of getting any sort of delivery as I cant be near my front door. So she does my shopping for me. She takes me bins out. My house is not in great condition and I live with no hot water and heating for months, I was very scared to... We were raised by a cult that worshipped flowers2h agoTo say we were raised is honestly a stretch. We weren't humans to them. We were putrid fruit that hung from a dying tree, which was only to be picked when the time was right. As children, we were ignorant of that fact. The people that held us captive weren’t your typical cult; they were a simple, anachronistic group. Their sole reason for living, their raison d’être, was to serve Mother Flora. Her name was only ever uttered to us second-hand from the cult members' hushed prayers Our interactions with them were cold and detached, with no semblance of warmth nor any disdain; they only communicated with us when necessary, like when they'd take us down to the basement t... Chapter 102 shows why Asa is so great2h agoChapter 102 is a great insight into the driving motivations of Denji and Asa. Chainsaw Man is partly about making choices. Denji's character arc has been from a base human seeking food and shelter to a person with free will. In part 1, Denji is being controlled and manipulated by Makima, Himeno, Reze, Power, etc., for their own ends. Denji cannot control his choices because he does not know anything. In part 2, we see Denji deliberate about whether he wants to live a normal life with Nayuta or be Chainsaw Man, a superhero. Denji's desire for recognition and carnal pleasures over family is what makes part 2 so cruel; even with free will, Denji cannot control his desire to be Chainsa... What has worked for you thats tasty and easy? Thank you!!! ☺️ For my fellow hoarders: Extended Categories (my B42 mod)2h agoHey guys, I want to share a mod I made for B42: [Extended Categories](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3650035249). It changes the display category of most items, including those added by mods, to create a much more enjoyable base organization experience. (As a huge ~~hoarder~~ *collector*, I consider the game unplayable without this :P) It categorizes items based on their properties, such as tags, item types, food types and much more. These are some of the broad item groups that are currently covered: * 🍗 **Food and Cooking** → divided into Canned, Preserved, Prepared, Meat, Fish, Condiments, Spices, and more. Cooking into utensils, cutlery, pans, etc... * 🍹... My Testimony of Him2h agoTestimony I grew up in and out of Church I had many family and friends that I did cherish. Question about first baby foods2h agoI’m hoping to hear from Celiac parents who were diagnosed before having children. I am curious about what you fed your infant when they started foods. Our baby is getting close to being ready for solids and I’ve heard so much conflicting information. For context, I have Celiac and my husband also has at least one relative with Celiac, so I won’t be surprised if our child ends up having Celiac. I keep a gluten free kitchen and don’t feel great about the idea of of feeding gluten containing foods. I’m not an expert, but it sounds to me based off of what I have read, that we wouldn’t be a harm in avoiding gluten for a child as long as the diet is nutritionally complete. I know cream... Cleaning Rivers: A step towards a Healthier Planet2h agoCleaning Rivers: A Step Towards a Healthier Planet Rivers are one of the most important natural resources on Earth. They provide drinking water, support agriculture, maintain biodiversity, and are home to many plants and animals. Unfortunately, many rivers today are heavily polluted due to plastic waste, industrial discharge, and human negligence. Cleaning rivers is not only the responsibility of governments but also of every citizen who benefits from these precious water bodies. The Problem of River Pollution River pollution has become a serious environmental issue across the world. Plastic bags, bottles, food wrappers, and other waste are often thrown directly into rivers. Built a free app that auto-generates low-FODMAP recipes from what's in your fridge – would love feedback from thi...2h agoHey everyone, Two of us on the team live with ongoing gut issues, and one of the biggest frustrations has always been figuring out what to cook when you're on a low-FODMAP diet. Every standard recipe app just throws generic content at you with no awareness of your restrictions. So we built Kitchen Copilot – an app that generates personalized recipes based on what ingredients you actually have, and fully respects your dietary restrictions including low-FODMAP. You just tell it what's in your fridge and it handles the rest. It adapts to your taste over time. Available free on iOS and Android (search "Kitchen Copilot"). For those of you navigating FODMAP restri... Recipe Request: Low effort, catch all, warm, vegetarian meal?2h agoI’m dealing with some serious dysbiosis and burnout. Is there anything out there that leans toward the bland or Asian food profile, vegetarian warm mush? Like, I just need something that actually takes half and hour of my week but has fibre, protein, good fats, probiotics, micronutrients…is anti-inflammatory and gets better with time instead of worse. No dairy. Open to other suggests but not interested in curry or tomato based things. Like, am I looking for stew or congee? Is there no way to get everything in one, catch all meal and I should just do something anti-inflammatory and use supplements? What’s the best way to heal your gut when everything is inflamed and you just need to sta... Where did the spicy in the cuisines of hot countries come from?2h agoI understand how spices can help cool the body down, so it makes sense cultures in hot climates are more likely to want spicy food than cultures in cold climates. But how does the plant 'know' to be spicy? Is it that plants like spicy chemicals are more likely to survive in that climate so they grow there? Did cold vs hot places have an equal number of spicy and nonspicy options, and they chose to propagate those species? Was it generations of genetic engineering; if so did they make nonspicy food spicy or vice versa? M25 Looking for a daily chat friend 💬2h agoHey everyone 👋 I’m a 25 year old guy living on the East Coast looking for a daily chat buddy and some easygoing conversations. I work from home, which means I actually have a lot of free time during the day to put into building a genuine friendship. A little about me: I play the guitar, I like hiking and being outdoors, I’m a big cat person, and I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes. I’m pretty laid back and enjoy talking about everyday life, hobbies, random thoughts, music, food, or whatever comes up. I’m just hoping to find someone who enjoys chatting regularly and keeping each other company throughout the day. 21+ and preferably in a similar time zone so conversations can f... Moma Barista oat milk is currently £7.12 for 6L on Amazon subscribe&save2h agoMexican-ish rice bowl2h agoWith vegan fishsticks, aji verde, seasoned rice, buttered corn, and vegan skyr+mayo. In a ramen bowl :D The aji verde turned out a bit too chunky because my food processor ***** Recipe: For aji verde: blend jalapeños (deseeded), cilantro, garlic, salt, and lime juice. Once smooth (or chunky in my case), add vegan mayo (and optionally nooch) and blend for a few seconds more. For rice, I used Uncle Ben's jasmine rice (all I had), put it in a pot with some water, the discard lime from the aji verde, dried mint leaves, mild chili, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and let it simmer on low. Melted vegan butter in the microwave, added tinned corn, lime juice, and salt. Fried the vish sticks... Advice on mixed evergreen hedge2h agoHi everyone, I’m planning to plant a 15.5 m mixed evergreen hedge along the rear boundary of my garden (currently just chicken wire fencing). There is a significant drop in elevation immediately beyond the chicken wire fence, and with the neighbour’s house only about 5 m away, the current boundary provides very little privacy. The goal is dense privacy to ~2 m height, but also wildlife friendly with flowers/berries. Looking at Hedges Direct as they have a good offer currently so the whole order of plants would be just under £700, which doesn't sound too bad for the are to cover. The idea will then be to dig a 40cm deep trench, add fungy, compost, topsoil, etc. then plant in ... An Idea a Day on How to Make 100% Renewability on Zenith Skyblock Worlds. Day 192h agoIf this is the first day that someone is seeing this daily post, the idea is to thinktank possible ways Terraria items could become 100% renewable in a Zenith Skyblock World. Yesterday was the Runic Pixie and Demon's Eye Paintings. For Day 19, I had an idea for the Underworld and Dungeon furniture that's unobtainable. I was struck very early on about the connection between **** and the Dungeon not having craftable furniture. Since both having major themes of souls and suffering, what crafting station could connect with that vibe and is already used for furniture anyways. The Saw Mill which could be newly upgraded to a new Torturous Sawmill. So what if it was probably used to prolo... East Meets West Ramen Burger Fusion Delight2h agoThe Ramen Hamburger is an innovative fusion of classic American comfort food and Japanese street cuisine. Inspired by Tokyo's vibrant food markets and America's love for burgers, this dish transforms humble instant ramen noodles into a crispy, savory bun that provides a unique texture contrast to the juicy beef patty. A delightful conversation starter and crowd-pleaser, this burger beautifully blends east with west in a playful, gourmet street food flavor profile.\ \ https://burgerrecipes.info/gourmet-burger-recipes/east-meets-west-ramen-burger-fusion-delight/?utm_source=4994%20&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=Reddit%20 ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
