We were kinda forced to have our roof replaced due to some splitting rafters. I brought up my concerns for the garden being damaged and was told that they do thousands of jobs with gardens and the plants come out fine. Well, they didnt. I am a Canada based chef looking to get into working on yachts in the northern winter. I have 4 years working as a chef on boats, and many more years in high end restaurants. I understand most of the credentials (I think) - I have STCW and basic marine first aid as well as food handler certs. A few questions: \- Does anyone know if TC (Transport Canada) marine medical will be acceptable as ENG1? If not, how does one get an ENG ? \- I presume a B1/B2 visa is needed? So, I have been befriending crows of my neighborhood. I started feeding birds, then by day 10 I got info to feed the crows. I got their full attention by day 12. They had cawed when I fed the birds, so they knew I was feeding them. So it was pretty quick to get attention. They were basically cawing loudly. Like saying, “Mine! I'm going to smoke a pork shoulder butt and I was planning on using the dry pork rub recipe on serious eats as a base (the lean and mean one), but I just got a bunch of fantastic ingredients from a Chinese grocery. I have a few different kinds of Szechuan peppercorn, green and red, Szechuan oil, heaven facing chilis, fermented soybeans, oyster sauce, fish sauce ect.
