Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Vegan Foods Latest Community Discussions About Vegan FoodsBeing a vegan is no different to eating meat2m agoFun Fact: plants are the same thing as "defenseless animals" too and have some a little bit of sentience too. Conclusion: being a vegan is no different than eating animals. spin magazine article "Dave Mustaine Won’t Go Quietly"3m ago# Dave Mustaine Won’t Go Quietly As health issues force retirement, the thrash metal icon reflects on four decades of Megadeth, mending fences with Metallica, and going out on top Written by [Steve Appleford](https://www.spin.com/author/steveappleford/) | January 19, 2026 - 10:00 am As the original thrash generation’s feistiest and most outspoken bandleader, Dave Mustaine has left a defining mark on heavy metal. After being fired as Metallica’s founding lead guitarist on the eve of the band’s 1983 debut album, he went on to form the unlikely rival powerhouse Megadeth, a platinum-selling thrash-metal act that has remained his primary creative vehicle ever since. Megadeth’s ... What is the plant to space ratio necessary to create enough oxygen to support the survival of one person?5m agoI’m currently working on an experiment where I am testing a primarily mechanical underground bunker system vs. a primarily biological underground bunker system, both of these bunkers being designed to support human survival on mars. They will be tested for radiation protection, thermal stability, water maintenance, oxygen production, food production, and structural strength. For oxygen production, I’m planning to test a system similar to MOXIE, Nasa’s Mars oxygen in-situ experiment, vs. photosynthesis, but I’m not entirely sure how to execute this or how possible this actually is on a small scale. As of now, I’m looking to figure out the plant to space ratio that is necessary to su... Weaning questions - help! How to use the recipe books5m agoLots of people recommended What Mummy Makes recipe book, and although the recipes look fab I'm not sure how to serve them to 6m old babies who just started their weaning journey. I've also read that we should only serve food that can easily be mushed with two fingers as it means babies can mush them with their gums. But then how do I serve these recipes e.g. meatballs, flapjacks, and healthy chicken nuggets?? [Student][Software] Ivy CS Student w/ Low Callback Rates (<3%), Seeking Advice on Resume6m agohttps://preview.redd.it/tazqn1ccodeg1.png?width=5100&format=png&auto=webp&s=b265c04169f148013ee1cd6e388b7b4bca228028 Pretty much title, here's some additional info: \- First two internships were no name startups \- Most recent internship is a top startup in Japan (backed by Google Ventures + other well known vc), but unknown in US circles \- Probably applied across 1000ish postings, though my resume got better along the way, haven't seen much improvement in callback rate. Main concerns are my bullet points reading to buzzwordy/verbose. Though, any other suggestions/insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Coping with puppy meltdowns?6m agoCurrently struggling.. we got a puppy a few days ago. It's our first time having a dog of our own, but we both grew up with dogs. He came from a chaotic home that didn't have time for him, by the looks of things when I picked him up, he spent his time shut in an empty room with just a bed. When he was out, there were two kids acting frantic around him. He's a 5 month old german shephard cross (not sure what the other half is). He's also very underweight, but we are working on building up his food and looking to add a calorie dense additive to it. All that considered, he's a good and smart dog. Extremely sensitive. He can pick up on your mood and will absolutely ma... Review by a non Minecraft / Terraria player6m agoHello, I am not new to survival games. I have played Ark a good amount. However, I only played minecraft for like a couple hours on creative mode probably 10+ years ago, never touched it again, although I did watch streamers play it here and there. Never touched Terraria. This game so far for a newbie like me, is quite amazing, and honestly, full of content. I have read other posts saying they have 'beat' the game already and ran out of things to do. And that to me makes it seem like you either are not taking part in all the game has to offer, or your imagination isn't running free. Currently I am in full Iron and only just discovered some Thorium nodes. Exploration: ... Trying to Help my Almost 4yo6m agoPlease help me with my 3.75 year old. Our preschool has been reporting issues all school year and we have always noticed these things at home, but this is our first child, so we weren't sure what is normal and what is not. However, much of it just feels... not normal. And I figure its not considering the preschool reporting it to us. Like my husband and I really struggle some days thinking parenting should not be this hard. We know its hard, but anyway... To preface, we live in a decent house in a decent neighborhood, I am a stay at home mom, my husband and I relationship is normal, no abuse/drug situations, we are financially secure, we have been married 8 years, we welcomed a new ... Body powders!7m agoFound the vanilla scented powder on another run and really liked it. I saw the purple bottle as well but wasn’t a fan of the scent. My plan is to keep the powder in this clear container and use a puffy powder brush for application! Also picked up the v05 and the callus remover gel based on reviews from this group ☺️ Survival challenge: raw materials only.7m agoYou are dropped, *****, in an unpeopled temperate forest. There are no dangerous hostile animals. It is early summer. There are abundant raw materials (including an initial supply of basic food that will last about a month), but absolutely no manufactured tools. It will be warm enough that temperature should not be an issue until mid fall, but it will snow in the winter. Raw materials include clay, plants that are a ready source of fiber, fruit trees/berry bushes, small animals (rabbits, insects, and such), clean water, stones, various metal ores, seeds of various food plants, and anything else you can convince me is both plausibly found in a random temperate forest, and a raw material.... Where to find non-Italian Restaurants and markets in Umbria7m agoIf you’ve lived part (or all) of your life in places with real ethnic diversity, you probably grew up loving food from many cultures. One of the hardest adjustments to life in Italy—especially outside the big cities—has been food variety. Unless you’re in **Rome, Milan, Florence, Bologna, Naples, Genoa**, etc., your non-Italian dining options are usually limited to **Chinese or sushi**. That said, there *are* some hidden gems scattered around **Umbria**, and I’ve been slowly tracking them down. 👉 [**Guide to Ethnic Restaurants in Umbria**](https://maps.app.goo.gl/LhUCFzhTuPwoSoQU7) **(map link)** I haven’t been to all of these places yet. I’m looking for easier recipes to batch cook as a lunch for work, quick lunch and dinner recipes + some sort of grocery planner (where you’ll use the same ingredients in different recipes). Has anyone tried both and have a preference? Also I love Asian food and recipes. It seems like they’re both diverse in terms of cuisine Dinner Drama 😠12m agoI'm so fed up. I make good food. I have a good food budget. But my husband is so ******* picky. He just wants takeout. It ***** my grocery budget. Or...he asks over and over and over "what's for food? There's no food. I don't want this." Like FFS not all foods have a recipe....and it's not like you'll eat it anyway. I can't even think straight. Literally had a ******* screaming match because he wants me to throw out what we have instead of using it up before I go grocery shopping again. Unless I have a bunch of processed ****, he's not happy anymore. 🤬 So anyway...for "Meatless Monday" I made baked cheesey grits, seasoned... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
