Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Vegan Foods Latest Community Discussions About Vegan FoodsRideshare drivers: How are you keeping your seats clean (without losing time between rides)?35m agoHey drivers, Posting here from the 4Knines team. We’ve spent years designing seat covers for people who *live* in their vehicles—pet owners, delivery drivers, and lately, a lot of you rideshare drivers. We wanted to share what we’ve learned from talking to hundreds of Uber/Lyft drivers, plus some practical tips you can use whether you buy from us or not. This isn’t meant to be a sales pitch—more of a “here’s what actually works in the real world” breakdown. Many drivers told us they didn't think their passengers would like a seat cover, until they tried a 4Knines Seat Cover. --- ## The real problem: your back seat is a war zone If you drive rideshare regularly, you ... Best exposition of Buddha's teachings that I have come across.36m ago**On Soul** He did not try to deny the physical belief that time was quasi-cyclic; he did not argue against the belief in other worlds. He granted that life may continue in other worlds, but denied that there was an immortal soul underlying one’s life in various worlds. The Buddha granted the belief in quasi-cyclic time, but NOT the belief in the soul (atman) as an unchanging essence, because the body (and its relations to other things) changed not only across cycles of the cosmos, but also across two instants. Everyone agreed that from one cycle of the cosmos to another there was some change. But to speak of a soul, there must be something, such as personal identity, some ‘self’ t... Liza Minnelli's Favorite Comfort Food Makes Us Love Her Even More - Allrecipes41m agoLiza Minnelli shared her favorite five-ingredient comfort food during a 1970 interview, and the **recipe** for a spin on potato skins still holds up. false [READ MORE](https://www.allrecipes.com/liza-minnelli-potato-skins-recipe-11917410) How to Live Past 100 Without Giving Up Everything Fun: Science-Backed Longevity Tricks41m agoStudied longevity research for months because I kept seeing people in their 30s looking 50 and people in their 60s running marathons. The gap was insane. So I dove into books, blue zone studies, podcasts with longevity experts, and honestly became a bit obsessed. Here's what I found: most people think longevity means deprivation. Eating bland food. Avoiding fun. Living like a monk. That's complete BS. The healthiest, longest-living people aren't miserable health freaks. They've just optimized certain habits that compound over time. The real mindfuck? We're wired for short-term gratification in a world that rewards long-term thinking. Our biology wants sugar NOW. Ou... The Man Who Knew Where the Cables Went42m ago*A story about an IT/OT Specialist, an interim manager who hadn't read the job description, and an org chart drawn by the man who refereed his own match.* There is a particular kind of institutional confusion that arises not from malice, but from a man being placed slightly outside his depth and not quite realizing it. Harley was not a bad person. He was, by most accounts, a competent enough leader for the automation team — a man who knew what the automation systems *did*, who understood their value, who could walk the floor and speak credibly about production uptime and why a stopped line mattered. He had spent enough years in the environment to have absorbed its rhythms. The actu... 19-19. The end of Seiryuu City.42m ago19-19. The end of Seiryuu City. “When you bow, you should put one hand on your chest—the elbow is here. Be careful not to let it go down.” I was learning etiquette from a butler at the lord's house in Kuhanou City. We are all doing this because we are invited to the Lord’s Supper. At the end of the room, my friends look at the etiquette class with an interested expressions. Like children who had fond a new play, Pochi and Tama imitate the movement of etiquette. It seems that the Tama plays the role of a student while Pochi plays the role of a teacher. Then they switch roles. I gain the “Social” skill. When I looked at the log window floating in the corne... Restrepia elegans — spotted flowers and fluttering petals from the Andean cloud forest43m ago**Restrepia elegans** is a small epiphyte from the cloud forests of Colombia and NW Venezuela, found at 700–2800 m elevation. What makes *Restrepia* stand out is the fused lateral sepals that form a broad, showy structure visible from a distance, combined with filamentous petals that flutter in the breeze — likely to attract fly pollinators through mimicry. *R. elegans* produces yellow flowers densely spotted in burgundy red. Care is straightforward: cool to intermediate temps (11–20°C), filtered light around 150–220 µmol/m²/s PPFD, high humidity (ideally 80–95%), and consistently moist sphagnum or fine bark. It is said that on a mature plant, flowers appear frequently through... Please help me find a sandwich I ate while visiting Boston in 201944m agoIn May 2019 I visited Boston from the UK, and during that trip I ate the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve thought about it at least once every two weeks for the past 7 years and have tried to find it so many times since with zero luck. It was a veggie or vegan BLT style club sandwich with thick slices of marinated tofu, tomato, lettuce, some kind of flavoured mayo, and possibly also avocado and tempeh bacon. It was was served on a plate with paper lining with chips (or crisps as I’d call them!). The sandwich was made with white bread that had grill lines on it and was cut into triangles with toothpicks holding it together. It probably sounds very simple but was honestly in... Regional VII: O Cinturão Verde e Nobre de Fortaleza44m agoRegional VII: The Green and Noble Belt of Fortaleza Regional VII is, without a doubt, one of the most remarkable corners of Fortaleza. Combining urban sophistication with environmental preservation, this area is the destination for those seeking quality of life between Parque do Cocó and the breezes of the eastern zone. Made up of 19 neighborhoods that exude diversity, the region is a mosaic ranging from high-end condominiums to vibrant and historic communities. The region’s major highlight is Sapiranga, which hosts the ecosystem of the Coaçu River and serves as a natural refuge within the metropolis. It is here that the modern meets the rustic: wide avenues and shopping centers sha... My first time ever playing rim world ( wtf )45m agoIt first started with my three main settlers. I was very confused because it was my first time playing. There was also a cat that they had tamed. We started by gathering supplies and growing plants for food. One of the settlers was called Luze, she was a 48 year old fat woman who was basically useless at everything, but mele that made her a good defender i guess idk I built them their first shelter. It was messy but cozy. We had beds, a fire, and an oven. Some raiders and pillagers came from time to time, but they were not strong and they came one by one, so they weren’t a major threat. Time passed, and then I got a notification that the cat died. It got killed by a wild pig outside the ... OYSTER STEW ☆ Phyllis Diller ☆ "I can't stand people that say they don't like oysters and they'v...49m ago**Phyllis Diller's Oyster Stew** is a retro celebrity recipe known for being a simple, classic preparation. Diller, the legendary comedian, was featured in several vintage celebrity cookbooks, and her version of the stew typically focuses on a buttery, creamy base that highlights the natural brine of the oysters. Worried and need help please 🥺 -- 4m.o. not feeding at our wits end51m agoThis is long, my apologies, we've tried so many different things and are at our wits end. I'm writing all the things we've tried that didn't work so hopefully someone can recommend a new approach. We got Morticia (Tish) in the 3rd week of January. She's a Pastel Pinstripe and hatched around late October My boyfriend has kept snakes for almost 20 years (his 24yo rescue ball died on Christmas Day 💔 of age related issues) including some very hard to keep snakes, and he knows we'll what he's doing (I'm new to this) Tish is lovely, curious and energetic (as far as snakes go) with a couple bouts of "zoomies" each day, not overly shy or overly... Just making sure before transfer..52m agoSo ive had my 55 gallon fishtank for 5 yrs.. unfortunately my son (special needs ) climbed on top and snapped the middle brace.. ..SO since petsmart had there annual 50% off sale.. I decided to go for the 75 gallon.. 1. Because it uses the space on the stand to make it unlikable and 2. Because what's the point of having an 700.00 stand and not using it.. So my question i this .. I went and got buckets (alot ) from local hardware approved food grade or higher to transfer all of the old water into the new tank. (Because I can't lift 55 gallons full obviously and I want to do an instant transfer) will that be enough!! I'm transferring everything (down to the sand and lava rocks... My (Black 29F) new bf (white 34M) is culturally ignorant...53m agoHi everyone. throwaway bc my friends know my main account. Okay so, I (29F) am from an African country. I live in a European country and I recently started seeing a man (34M) from a neighbouring European country. I like him a lot and we've had a bit of a whirlwind together. He's a catch on paper and I'm not gonna lie, he is amazing in bed (I'm only mentioning this bc there's a possibility I might be too fuckstruck and dickmatized to recognize a red flag, so if any of you think this might be the case please lmk). I want to start by saying that dating in the West as a non-Western person can be... challenging. There have been a few instances with men where they'v... Long Term tongue pain1h agoI am posting on behalf of my wife who has been dealing with tongue/mouth pain for over 6 years. In January 2020 she miscarried and had a D&C. Very shortly after is when the pain started, sometimes radiating around her head in a certain spot. She went to different doctors with very poor results, most just giving her a mouth wash and telling her everything looks fine. A lot of doctors would say it’s autoimmune but without any real solution. A couple biopsy’s with them always coming back as benign. She had her ****** implants removed 1.5 years after the pain started thinking it was ****** Plant Illness, the implants were in for 5 years when the pain started. She has some trau...
