I have moved them so now they are just barely touching the water with only the odd root. Thank you all for letting me know the issues with them having there roots half way submerged. Food and water weight is only approximate and can vary a lot. The weights on the list are worst case/longest trip scenario. I plan on carrying 12-13 kg (25-30 lbs) max.
