Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Vegan Foods Latest Community Discussions About Vegan FoodsFeeling sick! 🤢 what has happened?!2h agoI used Miracle Gro Organic soil, in pots and every Berkeley Tie Dye tomato has been decimated. ChatGPT suggested captain Jack’s spinosad after it happened to some small ones (it thought cut worm), and as of yesterday my 2 larger ones was still fine. This morning was destruction! Is it possible to save the large plant that has nearly been gnawed through at the base, but still hanging together? I have found no worms anywhere. Cupuld this be an animal? I’ve never never had this issue in the past. These are container tomatoes in San Diego, Any help or suggestions welcome. At this point I will never buy that soil again! I made a list of sustainable options to adopt in yer house (please add to it!)2h agoI wanted to create a list of sustainable/zero waste/heathier (?) options below that i've come across/been told to use for people who are also thinking of making a change :) also to hopefully reduce the feeling of being overwhelmed, since there's so much on the internet of what direction to go, and make a go-to list of places to start. I'm very new at all this sustainable stuff. i've always turned lights off when i leave a room, lower the thermostat, recycle as much as possible, etc, but that's as far as i went. but ever since the beginning of the war with Iran, global warming/climate change at an all time high, and a very real food crisis on the rise, I've be... 5 days in, T5 gear and all gathering at T4 – Seeking advice on long-term Silver income (Islands vs. Gathering?)2h agoHi everyone, I started playing Albion about 5 days ago. I’m a casual Player. I’am currently wearing T5 gear and I managed to get all my gathering skills up to T4. I’m based in **Bridgewatch**, so I have easy access to plenty of Hide and Fiber. While gathering is okay, I’ve found myself really interested in starting my own **Player Island** and getting into **Cooking/Buff-food production**. My goal is to build a reliable, long-term Silver income. Given my current progress and location, what should I be aiming for? Is focusing on a Cooking/Farming economy viable for a newer player? Should I stick to gathering in the Steppe and use that to fund my island? Any tips on how to transi... Why every official 2100 GDP forecast is basically fake ; the post-crude metabolic cliff nobody wants to discuss2h agoWe keep seeing the same optimistic long-range projections: global GDP 3–4× larger by 2100, driven by tech, AI, population growth, efficiency gains, and a seamless “green transition.” These forecasts appear in the IMF, World Bank, OECD, and major bank reports. They look rigorous, full of spreadsheets and assumptions. But they are built on a foundation that ignores the single most important fact about modern civilization: crude oil is not merely an energy source. It is the hidden industrial metabolism that makes almost everything else possible. Once you treat crude as the full material feedstock, not just fuel, the entire “growth forever” story collapses. Here is the biophysical ch... Repeated Tomato Plant Death2h agoHello! I am having an issue with my tomato plants. Alas, no pictures right now but I will add some if I get the chance. I am based in London, UK, with a small garden that faces NNW. My dad and I have been co-parenting various tomato plants for several years, and a late season issues has just reappeared in this years tom plantlings (and killed them). It appears to be that the basal part of the stem dies slowly under the soil, even as the parts of the plant about it seems totally fine. I would describe this process almost as the stem rotting away? It goes brown, soggy, and slimy over time. As the base of the stem degenerates, the plant above starts to wilt (I assume due to lack of water). In... Walkable areas?2h agoHello, everyone! I’ve moved to Pune for work. I’ve been here just three days, and I’m looking for markets where I can get good coffee + bookstores. Please recommend good coffee places (not asking for food reccos). I’d be grateful if someone can tell me what else is there to see in the city, like museums etc. I’m also thinking Pune people are much more nicer than north Indians. So please free to confirm or disprove my hypothesis. 🙂 Ps. I’m based in Viman Nagar. Thanks! Nailing a lungo or americano [Gaggia Evolution / KINGrinder K6]2h agoHi all, new to home brewing. I prefer longer drinks such as a lungo or short americano (don’t kill me) but trying to learn and improve at pulling espresso as the base for the recipe. I’ve recently got the following setup: \-Gaggia evolution, has a 15 bar spring as standard. Changed the basket to Gaggia’s traditional filter basket 53mm 14g \-KINGrinder K6 \-Basic tamper and scales \-Currently using Cherry Storm No.17 beans So far, the results are: 1.Pulled an espresso, added hot water 2nd. Changing Epidermal growth factor2h agoI mentioned a while ago that I was using topical epidermal growth factor to see how it may assist in lengthening my foreskin. I had been using Forest of the Borges EGF that has rh-Oligopeptide-1, a skin cell proliferator. it also speeds healing. I switched to DRMTLGY Needleless growth factor serum, from a price point of $35 to $70, because this brand has Oligopeptide-3, Oligopeptide-2 and Oligopeptide-1. I couldnt find information on research over the previous, but the later I found 90% found improvement in their skin and most importantly over 70% outperformed Opra's baby mutilation cream. Why anyone would buy a $300 cream made from baby foreskins, Idk. That brand is SkinMedica and... Would you Feed Schrödinger's Cat, knowing they could be dead?2h agoMy prompt: Okay. So let’s take the Schrödinger's cat thought experiment, but add a new twist. Say someone makes a claim they are caring for Schrödinger's cat. You can’t prove that the cat exists or isn’t. They show you the box, you can’t open it. You may never know if the cat is alive or dead. The supposed care taker says they will feed the cat, but only if you provide the food. Would it be more ethical to treat the cat as if they were already dead, knowing you can’t prove the claim they exit, or treat them as if they were alive? Gemini’s response: This is a fascinating ethical pivot on a quantum physics classic. You’ve essentially moved the experiment from... Vegan Breakfast Options2h agoHey guys, we are not a vegan family so I'm very unfamiliar with vegan recipes I find a lot online but I'm never sure how they taste. My teenaged son's best friend is coming over and staying the night he is allergic to eggs, dairy, and nuts. I really struggle with breakfast for him often defaulting to cereal and oatmilk but I'd like to make something nice. Map of Ape ranges in Africa2h agoadvice on feeding frequency2h agohey fellow gardeners! need help on how often i should be feeding my pepper plants. my plants are about 6 weeks old now, 1.5 feet high, lots of flower buds but no peppers yet. i'm a bit new to this so i have just been following the instructions on the back of the aerogarden liquid plant food bottle. 6 plants = two capfuls every two weeks. plants are also ******* tons of water at this point. so topping up every couple of days. if i stick to this, a few days after adding food the plants become droopy and i start getting leaf roll. if i add food (9 - 10 days before i'm supposed to based on the instructions on the bottle) by the next morning everything looks healthy again. so it see...
