I'm looking to make toad in the hole for thanksgiving this year. Most Americans have never come across it and it's a fun alternative to the usual foods on the menu. My issue is that I can't have xanthan gum (or other gums) as they hit me worse than gluten. Hey hey. I have hosted my server publicly and did a fresh start (reset) on October 19th and a few more ppl from Reddit have joined as well who each play on their own pace and all are welcoming. so i have a random world-building idea. there's 14 creature types, so each would require specific gear, and sub gear within those types for species. but my question is for the base 14 what would be your gotta have in my kit for if you had to grab it to go? each would be a single kit, not all together. I told my partner if he was still there by her birthday (last week) we could get him… we went to get some food for our other animals he was still there. So naturally he came home!! His set up is still a work in progress but here’s what we have so far! His substrate is 50/50 play sand and top soil with a small section of ceramic tiles. I’ve designed this system from experience over the last 35 years in the hobby. This system is designed to be used with live plants, and a mix of small to medium gravels, porous is better, if you don’t have much experience with plants, that’s OK just grab some cheap ones and get them planted after you install the gravel bed.
