Was sent some vintage flies to study and there was a very large Dusty Miller in the group. I did my best to tie it to match the original, at \~9/0 this is the biggest fly I’ve ever tied. Looks like the original was based off the recipe from Maxwell’s fishing home and abroad with some herl added for good measure. This one was a challenge to find materials for but I’m happy with how it turned out.

Hi everyone, I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with my ficus and how to stop it. About 2 months ago I noticed small brown/dark patches starting along the edges of a few leaves (first 2 photos). Since then, the damage has spread — more leaves are affected now, and one damaged leaf has already dropped (3d photo). The browning starts at the edges (especially on the lighter variegated parts) and gradually expands inward. It looks dry/crispy in some areas but also a bit dark and patchy in others. Hi! I am planning a 2-week trip to Hokkaido in mid-end June. We love nature and are focussing on eastern Hokkaido. We have young kids and so are taking things slow, maybe 1-2 activities a day. I kinda have the itinerary mapped out, but am just vacillating so much between either staying at Asahikawa or Higashikawa.
