Hello! I have a lot of tea bags that I got throughout the years —all from different brands— and I was wondering if taking the leaves out of their bags was a good idea to avoid microplastics. I only have the bags within their paper envelope and most of them do not really explain their composition except the Cupper tea bags, which are supposed to be plant-based. If the leaves have been in contact with the plastic of the glue or bag, is it not a lost cause? I'm sure that putting the leaves in a strainer is better heating up the bags, but I am wondering how worth it is.

So I've got a 25L tank that houses my apple snail Gorlock by himself because he eats all my live plants in my big tank lol. A local aquatics store has some African dwarf frogs, and they're super cute. Would it be safe to cohab them? Gorlock tends to leave floating plants alone, so the frogs would have a place to hide. He also shits like a grown man which gives detritus worms an absolute feast, so would that be a good food source for the frogs?
