I haven't lived in London for 8 years after living there for 15. I used to go Angels and Gypsies in Camberwell, Rebatos (RIP, it was THE BEST) in Stockwell and The Little Taperia in Tooting. Only The Little Taperia still exists. I live in Belfast now and although the food scene here is improving, the one thing we don't have is good tapas. I'm going to be in London once a month for work from next month and I really want to find some good tapas that's not wildly expensive. Will be based around Angel but happy to travel. I've googled but would prefer actual recommendations. Thank you!

I tried to make an angel food cake for a friend who loves them, but it was a massive fail. I don’t have an angel food cake pan, so I used the advice from Epicurious to make one out of a tall soda can and a springform pan. My cake didn’t rise correctly and was too dense. The angel food cake recipe I used was from Sally’s baking addiction. I had a TON of batter, and I tried to follow the advice from Epicurious which was to just use enough batter to fill the spring form pan 2/3, but it really didn’t rise. I’m wondering if maybe I should have filled the pan more? I would really like to try again and do it right next time!

We took the Catalina Express. Flawlessly smooth operation. Being first time visitors we meandered thru the shops and restaurants. Took an adventure on the yellow submarine. Nice view of really well trained fish. They are experts in following the submarine waiting for the food torpedoes. It was fun. But won’t do it again. Yellow submarine runs 40-50 passengers at $50 per head on a 45 minutes tour. Great money run for them. Roughly $20k per hour. Dining was expensive a party of two spent $200 or a seafood fest of lobster tails and soup. Really good food. ​ Hello, I saved this monstera from a grim fate a few months ago, it's growing, and I'm starting to wonder if I should install a moss pole now. I would really like it to have a good shape later on. There are no aerial roots yet. (well, I think they're in the soil) So, should I add one soon? What diameter? And what kind of pot? Will I have to enlarge the current pot to add a moss pole? And for maintenance, do I need to keep the sphagnum constantly moist? How can I ensure the water drains properly? I reached out to them and this is what they said - I checked your account and it seems there's no enforced content found in the last 6 months.
