Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Vegan Foods Latest Community Discussions About Vegan FoodsRestaurant recommendations for town (or maybe windward side, too) that has both vegan AND non-vegan options.2h agoHave friends in town and the group consists of vegans and non-vegans. Anyone know of a restaurant (not a cafe-type place) that has mainly "normal" restaurant food but also has a few vegan options? Could be town, Waikiki, Kaneohe, Kailua... 22 y/o EE student trying to break into sys ops, looking for advice2h agoHey everyone, I am 22 and live in California. I am currently working a logistics and warehouse job while going to school for electrical engineering(online so flexible). My long term goal is to work in system operations/ distro or transmission . I do not have direct industry experience yet, but I don’t want to sit around and wait. I want to start making moves now and getting myself closer to this field, even if it is not a system operator role right away. I should have my AS in electrical engineering by this time next year, and I also have my NERC RC certification. I know my current background is not what utilities usually hire from, so I am trying to be realistic and look for ways to bu... 36M Looking to make a new friend2h agoHi, I’m a semi functioning adult attempting to make a friend outside of work — please clap. I live on the East Coast now but grew up on the West Coast, which means I miss good hiking weather and pretend I don’t complain about humidity. My social circle is currently made up of coworkers and tiny humans, since I have two young kids who keep life loud and chaotic in the best way. I also have two very high-energy dogs (Australian Shepherd mix + Husky mix) named after Star Wars characters, because of course they are. Back when free time existed, we hiked constantly, and I’m always down for outdoor adventures when life allows. I love cooking and experimenting with new recipes, but bakin... 36M Looking to make a new friend2h agoHi, I’m a semi functioning adult attempting to make a friend outside of work — please clap. ISO Assistance Designing Garden Layout2h agoThe area shown in these images is my planned garden spot for this year. I marked the directions. The sun rises in the East—obviously. I have never grown a garden here before, so I am looking for recommendations regarding its layout and design. The southern half is 23’x23’, receives 8 hours of direct sunlight, and its soil is red clay with 6” of compost and decomposed mulch as topsoil. The northern half is 23’x23’, receives roughly 5 hours of direct light, and 3 hours of shaded light and its soil is red clay with decomposed wood and organic material mixed it, as well as 2” of decomposed mulch top soil. In the northernmost area—beside the barn—there is a 23’x3’ artific... Tomato burger recipe help2h agoHey all. I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, so if it's not, please let me know if you have a suggestion. On to the question. I have made a version of a tomato burger a few times now and I'm starting to get the hang of it. This isn't the usual tomato slices for buns that I keep seeing online. No. The patty is made of mostly tomato. The problem is, I don't know how to make/prepare this as a stand alone item. This is where I need help. For context of how I make this, I make my own butter chicken sauce from scratch (not a vegetarian personally, but I do enjoy making vegan/vegetarian friendly food while I've been on my diet). This sauce involves me cu... ISO Assistance Designing a Garden Layout2h agoThe area shown in these images is my planned garden spot for this year. I marked the directions. Fish, crab, shrimp, whatever. If it comes from underwater, I could not bare it. That being said, I can appreciate the effort put into cooking a dish well. I see incredibly well-made dishes that *look* delicious, but I can't bring myself to try it because I don't want to be wasteful with food when the fishy taste hits me. Even vegan alternatives meant to look/taste like fish I can't stand! I was an extremely picky eater as a child, and have grown to love all kinds of food now. But I still can't get over seafood! The most I can stand is fish sticks doused in ketchup/ranch/blue cheese that destroys any fish taste, w... I'm curious.2h agoHow did y'all set up your pylons and zip lines. I set my zip lines down pretty much along the same path as my pylons. With a few exceptions because I don't need a zip line going to where my auto drills are. I haven't unlocked the final part of the Hub map yet, so I'm saving my final 4-6 zip lines for that. Help me choose the travel countries, please? 😓2h agoHi there everyone. I am planning a month long trip to Asia for the month of May and I need help, as I am having hard time choosing which countries to go to. Here is my itenerary so far: First we will fly to China and spend two weeks there. Most likely Beijing and Chongqing. Then, we would like to fly to two more countries and spend a week in each before flying back home to Europe. We are interested in beautiful beaches to relax at, (snorkeling would be a plus) and culture (temples, museums, architecture etc), also having decent vegetarian/vegan food options would be great. Currently, we have been thinking about Thailand (Phuket, Krabi), Malaysia and Vietnam (Hoi An). However, we would ... I’m a legal immigrant married based GC. We have a house together and we decided to rent one of the rooms, I thought would be a good idea to rent for someone same culture as me. The problem is this guy become a nightmare. One day he was drunk and told me to **** off, he told my husband to go to my country and **** the girls from there. He messed with our New year, he is even eating our food and drinking of coffee. Whatever, he is really annoying, I saw him harassing and pushing girls on party, like college age and he is almost 40. He is so disrespectful, we asked him to leave and he is leaving soon, I’ve been considerin... Alright, after about 8 hours of gameplay, it’s not THAT bad. It’s honestly kinda fun!2h agoLet’s start with the negatives: The whole mining for resources to be able to trade is kinda weird, but I get the concept. Secondly, there’s 0 reason to plant A or B since you have the main heart core that ends the game on a successful plant. I do think that the 2 minute looting period is a little long, and then having to wait another minute for the sword to be unlocked. It’s a lot of downtime. The Map is too big for a 3v3, but maybe they will add more players. There’s honestly zero reason waiting for the sword to reach 0. Instead you can just wait for them to run to the raid base and just eliminate right outside the base. However, the positives. The Warden Characters/ ... How to be taken more seriously with doctors2h agoI’m a white, 33F in Cleveland Ohio. I am 5’ 4” and 230lbs. I’ve had mental health issues since I was a child and have experienced long-term and chronic trauma. I’ve been relatively physically healthy most of my life, with the exception of chronic intractable migraines (since I was 8 years old) and having PCOS (diagnosed in 2020). I also experienced a sharp, sudden, significant pain at the base of my spine when I was 25 where I was told I pinched my sciatic nerve, but it pretty much went away for the most part. Regarding my weight - I come from a family of large bodied people, and I have been several different weights throughout my life. I have been able to maintain 225-230 for a c... 👋Welcome to r/NwaFarmGarden - Introduce Yourself and Read First!2h agoHey everyone! I'm u/ManOfTheRedEarthNWA, a founding moderator of r/NwaFarmGarden.
