I've recently decided to try homemade food for my 2 cats, since one has a chicken allergy and potentially other allergies and my vet suggested this. I've read things from seemingly legitimate sources saying that with homemade food, cats need around 5 or 6 oz \*per day\*. This seems insane to me, considering with wet food my 1 cat usually eats around 12 oz a day, sometimes even with a bit of dry food too. The zucchini's in my garden have been going absolutely insane, these are ones that I've harvested in the last 2 days and there's more flowers that will be ready soon, and I'm getting bored of zucchini as I've been having it multiple times a week since October.
