Rachel McAdams has now played one of my favorite final girls (Red Eye) and one of my favorite female psychopaths (Send Help). Really hope she makes more horror movies. I knew she was lying when she told him there are dangerous plants at the X-shaped rock, but I didn't expect there to be a mansion, fully stocked with food and supplies, and probably an internet connection. Really love the image of blood on one side of her face, dirt on the other, and hair strands mixed in. Would've loved for the final twist to happen sooner and be a bigger part of the movie.

Minecraft is extremely limiting when it comes to early game travel. I think that adding a larger boat (or two) than the one that we have, with increased storage/player capacity and faster speed, would add so much to the game. Something like a multi step recipe involving sticks, wool and planks. It would incentivize people to make coastal/port cities, and would allow for better and more ways to travel across the map. The current one-person boat is just not cutting it. It would also explain in-game why there are so many shipwrecks but no ships afloat in the sea. I also think that having npc sailor villagers sailing on boats around the world would be really cool, almost like Wandering Traders...

I’ve been learning more about bees lately, and it’s amazing how important they are for nature and food. Their role in pollination affects so many plants and crops, and without them, ecosystems would be completely different. What do you find most interesting about bees? Is it their behavior, how they communicate, or their impact on the environment? Also curious if anyone has experience with beekeeping or has noticed changes in bee populations where they live.

I first thought it was getting sun burnt so I’ve moved it away from the window and it seemed like it was doing better but the yellowing on some leaves has come back. I’ve tried watering it more, I’ve tried watering it less. The plant never looks droopy or unhealthy other than the yellow and brown patches on some leaves. I cut the patches off and it seems to get better and then we start all over again. It’s in a pot with holes and a base and some rocks are in it as well. I’m using standard house plant potting mix.

While showering my snake plant off, it snapped at the base. I’ve had it for a couple years and would love to save it. I see some nodes at the bottom so I am hoping it’s possible. Has anyone had any success with a similar situation? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! 😄

Anyone experience a koopa nerite snail that stays in one place for long periods of time? And by long periods I’m talking days up to over a week. I thought it was dead but then saw him in a different spot. Now he’s been there for a week. When I did a cleaning the other day I tried to move him and he was stuck to the side of the tank pretty well so I left him. I figured if he croaked he wouldn’t stay stuck to the wall. My other two smaller nerites are all over the tank, but I can’t figure him out. Edit: Forgot to mention all my water parameters are really good and stable. I have no contacts in my phone. No online friends. I can't seem to land a job for some reason after applying to over 1000 places the past few years, so I have no coworkers. If they weren't in the same square foot, my guess at ID would have been Geranium rotundifolium (left) or pusillum, both non-natives, and Geranium carolinianum (right) -- the native Carolina cranesbill -- based on the more separated lobes. I want to log out of social media for good, I am planning on deleting Instagram and TikTok, my concern is how do I keep up with the world? How would I know if school and community event? Also most of the religious groups I usually attend post their events on social media. I also really love the new recipes and food videos on there, aside from these three things I would log out no problem, I am sick of the constant scrolling and comparing my life to others but how would I keep up with what’s important?

As you can see, base of this potted plant is like 80-90% corked but has some weak spots, and the joints that connect to the branches are also super fragile. Went through some damage through cold frost but survived. Concern is now there are two new growths starting, one on each branch. Should we sow the whole plant? Should we try to prune at the joints connected to base and plant? I’m concerned the horizontal branch is way too fragile to train upward, it feels like it could snap with too much tension. So I’m not sure how we would go about trellising and such . But also scared if we snip to propagate, it could be too much trauma and we kill off the new growth before we even start! Help!...
