Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Vegan Foods Latest Community Discussions About Vegan Foods30 M - looking for cool people and interesting stories!1h agoHappy new year! I hope you had a blast and enjoy this year 2026 I’m looking for someone to distract me and hopefully become good friends! I’m a very laid back guy so enjoys meeting people from all over the world, talking about life and having a good time. I’m very open minded and always up for a good conversation, whether deep and meaningful, or just random fun stuff. Let’s see if we vibe. Some things about me: • im very much into sports (basketball since I’m tall myself and gym) • cooking! Always down to share some recipes and food pics lol • traveling: I love traveling- I came back from Japan recently • into mental health: I do care a lot about mental heal... Why is “protein” in India only built for gym folks? I want to build protein foods for everyday people — thoughts?1h agoI’ve been thinking seriously about building an FMCG protein-based food brand in India, and I’ve noticed something odd: Most “protein brands” here are solving for *solid protein needs* in a very specific way and products that feel designed for gym-goers, bodybuilders, or very active people. The category is dominated by heavy protein shakes, powders, and “performance” messaging. But what about the much larger group of everyday Indians who: * aren’t interested in shakes/powders * don’t track macros * just want simple, tasty, affordable foods that help them add protein *without changing their lifestyle* I’m exploring the gap: protein-as-a-normal-food, not protein-as-a-suppl... This sub is turning Japanese1h agoI really think so. It was originally funny because we could all share a laugh about the things we have in common as photographers or just the general topic. Look at the top of all time for example. Now, there's been a huge influx of crossposting Fujifilm users who are looking for film simulation recipes, photographers who just want to share their photos of vending machines and train stations, those who are excited about finally getting an X100VI off the waitlist… etc. Haven't we all been through those phases? Even if an image is genuinely dogshit, seriously, why do we have the need to post it here and tell OP it has beautiful emptiness in it... and in return, bow respectfully... Doordash needs to quit shafting it's drivers.1h agoI'm in between jobs right now and this is my ONLY way to help with bills until I start my new one. I've been going hard with doordashing for the last few weeks and something I've noticed is that compared to the plethora of money this company makes between delivery fees, Dashpasses, and upcharging on items that are cheaper in person... The money they pay their Dashers is abysmal. TWO dollars to deliver a short distance and only $5-$7 if you're driving further. That means, even with a moderate tip you could be doing 30 plus minutes of driving (there and back) for only $8-$10 total. That's a joke. As someone who has used Doordash delivery on occasion and is fully aware ... Lunch meal prep1h agoSo glad I made something healthy to bring to work this week! Pesto bean salad: 1 can white cannellini beans 1 can chickpeas 1 small onion 1 bell pepper 1 cucumber 1 package mozzarella pearls Tossed with ~half jar pesto, splash or red wine vinegar and seasoning Turkey pesto meatballs: based on this recipe: https://lifemadesimplebakes.com/pesto-chicken-meatballs/#wprm-recipe-container-32231 Is the Vitamix E310 Really That Good for Smoothies and Soups Long Term Use1h agoPicked up the Vitamix Explorian E310 after burning through a couple midrange blenders over the years, and I wanted to see if the “pro grade” thing is real or just marketing. Price wise it sits in that upper tier where you start comparing it to Blendtec and the nicer Ninja units, not the $60 countertop specials, so I expected legit performance and decent warranty coverage. Blending power is the headline, and yeah, it’s got it. Ice, frozen fruit, oats, chia, leafy greens, peanut butter, cashews, it turns into a legit smoothie texture with way less grit than my old machines. Blade performance feels more about speed and vortex than “sharpness”, and the stainless blades aren’t razor ... A full day of vegan meals during Veganuary 🌱1h agoQuick context before I get into the food: I’m a vegan chef and I created a recipe app called Eline’s Table to help people eat better, cook more at home, and actually enjoy vegan food, whether you’re fully vegan, curious, or just trying Veganuary. It’s packed with simple, comforting vegan recipes for all cravings. If this kind of content helps you, downloading the app truly supports my work 💕 https://elinestable.com/app Now, here’s a realistic day in my vegan plate during Veganuary: ☕ Breakfast Tiramisu-style overnight oats I batch-prep this for several days because mornings are not my peak productivity time 😅 Quick oats, Chia seeds, One espresso, Plant-based milk, Plant-... Please give advice2h agoI’m a first time fish keeper looking for advice please. I’ve been doing a lot of research on getting my first betta fish, here is my 5gallon tank currently cycling, I’ve got some live plants in there although they are small atm and slightly hidden at the back, I will be going for a crown tail betta when my tank has finished cycling, but how do I know when the tank is cycled and ready to add the fish? I’m currently on week 2, nitrites and ammonia are both zero, nitrates are also 0, although I’ve read that nitrates should be present? I’ve been feeding the plants with fertiliser and Ive added some tetra safe start and easy balance and fish food every day/every other day. Also the ... Soka Gakkai's dangerous faith healing magical thinking propaganda2h agoChant Heart-filled, Correct Daimoku ([Facebook](https://archive.ph/zrwt6)) The following is a summary of guidance given by Soka Gakkai Vice President Takehisa Tsuji at the New York Community Centre on December 1, 1984. Buddhahood exists within oneself, but because it is invisible, few actually realize its inherent existence. The Gohonzon, as you can see just in front of you, exists outside yourselves, obviously. Nonetheless, the great life-condition of Buddhahood can be tapped when you chant daimoku to the Gohonzon. For instance, everybody has an angry nature within, but no one can take it out from his life, saying, “This is my angry nature.” But when something disturbing happens, ... How Veganism Got Cooked2h agoTo get around paywall [Veganism and the Plant-Based Diet Have Officially Peaked](https://www.grubstreet.com/article/veganism-movement-decline-vegan-diet-popularity.html) Going back on BC?2h agoHi all! Im trying to decide if I want to go back on the pill, and I’m just trying to gauge experiences from other individuals that have taken BC for a duration of time, gotten off, and gotten back on. For me: I took the pill from 15yo to 23yo, and one day I decided to stop take it for a multitude of reasons. Within the first 6 months, my weight went from 135 -> 170. I got SO stretch marks on my stomach without changing anything in my lifestyle. It’s now been about 4-5 years since I stopped. The last two years, I’ve lived an even healthier lifestyle than before, with consistent working out, walking, and a couple years of working with a nutritionist. During this time, I seldom... Thanks in advance! ****** question about item synergy (echos + diadem)2h agohi everyone, i got a question regarding the synergy between echoes of helia and diadem of songs. I just watched a clip of a brand healing a smolder while building those 2 items, as well as a new ashe support build tbh at builds diadem + echoes. I did some reading into those items (i don’t normally pick supports that normally build echoes so i didn’t really know what it did) and i simply don’t understand how brand was healing the smolder. As i understand it, shielding/healing an ally heals them through diadem, and echoes amplifies the heals with damage done. However, I don’t understand how in the world brand/ashe is getting those heals on their allies off in the first place especially... Conversations with pro abortionists be like:2h agoYou **** abortion because you **** women! No, I **** abortion because I value both lives! Do you realize people are raped?! Yes, and there are services for rape victims. Bit we shouldnt just kill the baby! Also, so many abortions, even late term ones happen because the mother had reckless sex or suddenly decided she didn’t want the child. ITS NOT A HUMAN YET! First of all, that’s like saying “a dog is not a human so it’s okay to rip it apart alive!” second of all, yes it is, it’s just a developing human. BUT ITS NOT ALIVE LIKE WE ARE! Well, it has a heartbeat at 5 weeks and the brain start developing at 3 weeks. Would you refuse cancer treatment because it’s alive? Cancer... My palm plant needs attention and I'm not sure what to do2h agoSo I recently moved, so please disregard the clutter and a bag at the base of my palm plant (which will be removed once repotted). It used to live in what eventually became my ex's room, and he never once rotated it for even growth and he kept forgetting to water it as well over the 7 months that we lived separately in the same space - I'd have moved it out but there wasn't any other spot where it would have gotten ample lighting otherwise, and yes, I'd reminded him several times about its care requirements too. My new place has windows that face west only, of which I know will provide enough light keep it happy, but it's very much in dire need of attention. I'... Daiya Herb & Garlic Mac and Cheese review2h agoI haven’t seen anybody review this yet, so I thought I’d give back to a subreddit that has helped me with my own diet so much! **TLDR;** I think it’s significantly better than Daiya’s original plain mac & cheese, if I only had those two as options I’d definitely go with this one. I give it a **5/10** overall though, it’s good but not as good as other nondairy macs imo. I was already not a fan of Daiya’s nondairy mac, but the flavors sounded really good and I was feeling brave so I grabbed this instead of my usual Annie’s. Prepped this as the box said, used Country Crock nondairy butter with Chobani Oatmilk extra creamy. I threw a splash of Country Crock’s nond... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
