Is there any hope for my broccoli? I hardened off for a week or two. I transplanted five seedlings outside on Saturday 4/4 and they were doing pretty well. On Tuesday I gave it them some seaweed kelp fertilizer, but I think I accidentally gave it too much? I did the amount for outdoor plants….now I realize that probably meant outdoor *mature* plants. I gave it the same fertilizer before but they did super well, I’m pretty sure I did at the strength for seed germination though. Is this the issue? If so, is there hope for it coming back? My spouse and I rescued these two bonded sibling golden retriever/mountain dog mix puppies and have been making strides of progress for babies who seem as if they were abused or mistreated in their previous environment. While Jasper (red collared brother) has appeared healthy in weight and stature, Noodle (blue collared runt) is quite boney and scrawny, but doesn't show symptoms that I've read about in regards to malnutrition. I'm sitting my favourite client right now and I took over this sit from another sitter as I was away for the first few days of their trip. I didn't get to ask where they were going, but I asked through text yesterday and turns out they're getting MARRIED. I want to leave them a small gift when they return. Any ideas?? I have a disposable camera and was thinking of getting a picture of their dog printed, but that seems a little lack lustre. They're very outdoorsy, eat organic/vegan, love plants for reference.

Hi everyone !! I just planted this Japanese lace leaf about two weeks ago, when planted I added bio-tone tree food and pine mulch because I read they like the nutrients from that kind of mulch. What I’m wondering is if I should trim the lowest branch off ? I know lace leafs are generally smaller than other varieties of Japanese maples but I’d like her to be as tall as I can get her. So, is it a good idea to trim the lowest limbs to get her to grow taller ? If so, when is the best time to do it ? If anyone has any tips at all for care of these trees I’m all ears !
