Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Vegan Foods Latest Community Discussions About Vegan FoodsWater in America4h agoTitle should be “water supply in america” but i wanted to post this [https://youtu.be/VgKJnxHgRSQ?si=ahwHU-B7VR\_RmTh4](https://youtu.be/VgKJnxHgRSQ?si=ahwHU-B7VR_RmTh4) Anyway I’ve been thinking about this since last night, I probably don’t have any crazy insights or solutions or whatever here, just sort of “dam das ****** up”; as such, gonna try to keep this short. The water in America is, shall we say, inconsistent. In some places, it’s great, others, it’s perfectly serviceable. Others still, it is a *nightmare*. Certainly there are innumerable places around the world where it is far more harrowing trying to get potable water, but that does not negate the reality that ... ¡Creé un juego para Android sobre comida callejera peruana que toma lugar en Perú!4h agoHi friends! I've spent the past few months working day and night on an Android game. It's called "Mama Llama's Food Cart Adventure". It's a Peruvian street-food based match-3 game for Android and PC/Windows. Your goal is to match food in order to satisfy customer orders! There are 5 cities, and each city presents a particular street food dish native to that particular city. There are 3 difficulty levels, an endless mode, and my favorite feature, a cook book with authentic recipes! I worked side-by-side with my best friend who is Peruvian to make this as authentic as possible. The overall goal is to help bring folks closer to the delicious food that's ... I’m 23 and based in London. I go to a lot of rock/metal gigs despite being introverted, but I’d like to find someone in a similar position to me who wants to make a friend to share the experience with. I’m easy to get along with and prefer low-pressure hangouts, whether that’s just going to a gig, grabbing food after, or chatting about music. My taste leans towards heavy metal and heavier subgenres (thrash, doom, metalcore, death), but I’m always open to discovering new bands too. I’ve already got some gigs lined up (for example, Bandmaid next month) and I’m always interested in finding new ones. I already go to gigs fairly often and enjoy planning ahea... 1 Bed on Fort Greene/Downtown Brooklyn Lease Takeover - August 2026 Start4h ago**Location**: 20 Rockwell Place (Rocklyn), 20 Rockwell Place between Fulton Street & DeKalb Avenue. I'm so sick of dieting, especially EEN (rant, other stories welcome)4h agoEEN means Exclusive Enteral Nutrition. I'm not sure that my diet is "True EEN" but the formula I'm prescribed makes about 85–90% of what I consume. Thankfully, I don't need a feeding tube, but it still *****. I can't eat anything but formula, water, homemade chicken stock, rice that's been cooked to oblivion, and a handful of baked chips OR a spoonful of peanut butter as a snack. (I can't eat more than a serving/meal a day without issues, even if it's spread out over time.) I can't tolerate any formula that's milk based, even if it's lactose free. The only formula I can tolerate is plant-based and comes in vanilla, nothing else. ... Happy Sunday. I am based in Canada and looking for a good conversation and some laughs. Here’s an ice breaker: What’s your most controversial food opinion? Deaf People Before Deaf Schools: An Open Letter to Helen Scarlet Fever4h agoHello all! I am taking a small break from my series to answer a longform response by Helen Scarlet Fever. I am writing it as an open letter because it is an open discussion that I think we can all be a part of! As usual this post is also available as a post on my blog: [https://lukapona.blogspot.com/2026/05/deaf-people-before-deaf-schools-open.html](https://lukapona.blogspot.com/2026/05/deaf-people-before-deaf-schools-open.html) ⸙ Hi, u/helenscarletfever! Wibbly here. I have recently been posting a series of articles on this subreddit discussing sign language writing systems, and in my most recent part I briefly covered Deaf / sign language history. It wasn't a comprehensive ove... Monstera Leaves Yellowing Help!4h agoHello! First time posting here :) I grew this monstera from a baby plant about 4 years ago and I've never had any issues with it. The only "issue" I have had is when it was growing the bigger newer leaves the other smaller leaves died off. About a month ago I noticed that an older larger leaf with fenestrations on the bigger plant was yellowing from the tip, turning brown and then eventually dying :( so I re-potted the plant about 2 - 2 1/2 weeks ago since I figured it was probably root bound (which it was) since re-potting i've lost another similar leaf and am losing another (the one in the photo). I should also mentioned that I've had two leaves on the plant gro... The trip will take about 3 weeks and I'm aiming for a start around July 15 (exact dates flexible). My car can fit 2 other people plus the dog, but I'm willing to rent a van if we get more people together. I'm open to camping and/or staying in hotels. I live in the Southwest US and can pick you up and take you to Seattle if you live somewhere in between. I'm an introverted, laid-back type of guy. Some of my interests include cycling, hiking, lifting weights, and eating vegan food (obviously). Send me out on my bike and we'll have plenty of time apart from each other. Send me a message if you're intere... I just got this plant from someone and I don't know what to do with all the issues4h agoI believe it is an umbrella plant, I am trying to force it to grow back into a nice shape by wrapping garden wire around it. However, during a swap, I noticed a lot of issues. New leaves growing in odd, algae looking stuff on the base, maybe mold, and some weird growths. I water less than once a week (wait for it to be dry, then wait a day or two longer), it is by an open window. [26.1.2] [NeoForge] Better than Boats - Pack up your base and live on the water!4h agoEver wanted to pack up your entire base and just sail away? I Built My Entire Spice Rack for Under $15 at the Dollar Store and My Food Has Never Tasted the Same Since4h agoIt actually started more out of pure embarrassment. One of my coworkers had come over to my apartment for the first time and watched me season an entire pot of chicken soup with only salt and black pepper and I'm pretty sure she just looked at me with this expression I still have etched into my memory. She was very sweet about it and said very gently, do you not have any other spices? And I had to confess that I didn't. Not really. I had been cooking this way for almost two years at that point. Just salt. Maybe a dash of pepper on a good day. And I'd been trying to convince myself for all that time that this was what cheap food tastes like. That real flavor is just something ... Suriname is moving toward "South-South" partnerships—meaning we're teaming up with fellow "Global South" countries like India, China, and Brazil. Instead of just building roads, the focus has shifted to high-tech farming, digital energy, and smart tech. Here are five of the biggest collabs that are actually changing the game. 1. The Suriname High-Tech Agro Plant (2024–2026) This isn't your average farm project. India is helping us set up a sophisticated Industrial Processing Unit for passi... Diet and Health Reform4h agoBeen an adventist for the last 15+ years. Throughout the time I’ve always been under the impression that clean meats are allowed along with a healthy well rounded diet. Obviously health is a big concern because Gods people must be healthy in order to continue the work. However recently after a health scare from a family member, they’ve done a lot more looking into health and diet regarding the bible and SOP. We’ve been seeing more and more about meat eating needing to be done away with in the SOP books as it is more diseased and just all around not good for physical or mental health. I’m sorry this is so long, but I just don’t know where else to ask this. I am fine giving up meat... New format4h agoLog: Continuity and system health 1.
