Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Vegan Foods Latest Community Discussions About Vegan FoodsOzempic and binge eating disorder2m agoHi guys, I have BED and I’ve done a lot of research and found that Ozempic has helped a lot of people with it. I’m currently on it myself, and for the first time in years it feels like I have my life back instead of being controlled by food all day. I’m in therapy and I discuss this with my therapist and dietitian, so I’m taking it seriously and not doing this without support. The problem is that I can’t get a prescription through my GP, and online providers are just way too expensive (€250+). I was wondering if anyone in the Netherlands has advice on how to get access to it legally and for a more reasonable price. Any tips, experiences, or recommendations would mean a lot. I f... Romantic dinner recommendations4m agoHey all! My partner is wanting to work on going vegan, and I'm the main cook in the house. I've been looking into and picking up vegan cooking techniques and trying out different recipes, but I've always been one to learn from others more than just researching and googling. So I was hoping to get some ideas or recommendations for some romantic date night recipes! Thanks in advance! 🛢️ Most of India's oil comes from just 5 regions — and the geological reason why is actually mind-blowing6m agoOkay so I went down a rabbit hole last night about India's oil industry and I genuinely cannot believe how little most people know about this. We talk about petrol prices every single day, but almost nobody knows where the stuff actually comes from or why it's only found in specific corners of the country. Let me break it down. First — what even IS mineral oil? Forget the textbook definition. Mineral oil (petroleum) is basically ancient dead stuff. Plants, algae, tiny sea creatures that died millions of years ago, got buried under layers of rock and sediment, and then got slowly cooked by the Earth's heat and pressure over millions of years. The result? That black liquid g... Confusion7m agoto humification aur mineralisation ko decomposition ka step nahi manenge? Maison Passerelle restaurant(NYC)8m agoI've been here a handful of times since February. It's 100% GF. DF as well but not vegan. Food:Really great food. Presentation is beautifully plated. They do this delicious plantain bread with the most delicious butter. You also get this palette cleanser...a mushroom broth in a shot glass..Also, to share is a bean dish with rice and pickled cabbage. Not advertising GF is deliberate; the food stands on its own and the chef, Gregory Gourdet knows food. Service: Out of the 4x I've been only once was there an issue with service..kinda slow. The restaurant wasn't busy. Otherwise, no complaints. They should consider adding a vegan option as part of a main course. They have ... If you’ve got a Mexican rice itch you need to scratch …10m agoOk, so one of my favorite foods is arroz con pollo but we all know the rice would just shoot blood sugar to the moon. Well last night I made the tastiest cauliflower Mexican-style cheesy rice and it scratched the entire itch. It was phenomenal! I’m posting the recipe just in case any other fellow T2s are desperate for a lower carb ACP. The first thing I did was add avocado oil to a pan on medium high heat. I coated two thin sliced chicken breasts in taco seasoning and pepper and seared well on both sides until nice and a bit crispy. In the same pan I then added a large tablespoon of butter, a bag of riced cauliflower, and a shake (maybe one teaspoon each) of Knorr beef flavor bouillon a... (oc) weird old bro got some pics and lore :)10m agoI already showed them [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/rainworld/comments/1rz8k39/weeeeird_old_bro_character_design/)! lore is here, but it's still WIP Life's Greatest Illusion cannot be called a full-fledged iterator (compared to most), it's one of the first prototypes, on which new components were actively tested in the future. they're more of a mechanical creation in its filling than an ordinary iterator, there are much fewer biological components in it by default, only about 20% organic. their pyramid-shaped can is smaller than the standard ones, and the legs are not particularly high, but they're durable because of their width - probably because of this... Bigger pots?12m agoCollected some acorns in the fall. I have space for maybe 4 or 5 mature oak trees on my property (\~3 acres) so I don’t need all of these trees. I was hoping to select out the fastest growers and best shaped trees. Most are about 6 inches tall after month in these 1 gallon containers. What’s the next best move? Should I snip the two smaller trees so they aren’t competing with the best one or wait? Or should I try to up pot with best one without damaging its roots? Also, when do you think it’s safe to break the nut off the root base (trying to avoid squirrels digging it up)? Edit: ultimate goal is to plant the 4 or so this fall HOT take: people who **** rave trinkets are hypocrites who destroy the environment.13m agoIf you enjoy the magic and social connections at raves, then you've probably encountered keyboard warriors who whine about the harm that discarded trinkets cause the environment. Ironically, these incessant whiners are some of the biggest attackers of the environment. Below is a list of activities they should personally commit to stop doing to save the environment. These activities are FAR more harmful than small trinkets falling on a dance floor and being thrown away after a festival. 1. Wasting Food Roughly \*\*40% of the US food supply is wasted. When organic matter rots in an oxygen-poor landfill, it generates methane—a greenhouse gas 28–36 times more potent than CO\_2.... The Devil is Real, and I Met Him in New Straitsville, Ohio15m agoJust east of Gore, and a bit north of Nelsonville, lies a little town called New Straitsville. It boasts not one, but two caves said to be haunted by horse ghosts, a whole mess of ATV trails, and exactly one restaurant. But perhaps the most interesting thing about the town is that the ground underneath it has been on fire for 140 years. By the time I found the town, the fire had mostly left it alone. See the fire runs along an underground coal seam, so it can only burn in one place for so long. But every once in a while, the fire finds its way back, just enough to remind people where it started. Every now and then, the residents of New Straitsville look out at the hills and see smoke. I ... Tried To Make a non Complex Guilt Free Productivity App | Feedbacks appreciated.16m ago\*Copying the Text from my other post\* I am not using AI to write this and my first language is not english, so please forgive any grammatical mistakes I make below. Thanks! TLDR: Made a “Productivity” App to track my finance, health and streaks. Decided to make it public to see if people will actually find it useful. More than a year ago, I started going to the gym. I wanted to stay consistent and track my progress, I also wanted to track my calories but every app I found on the app store was just a bit too complex for me. So being a developer I thought, why not make an app for myself. As I started working on it, I wanted to improve it more (even though I never though... Wienerschnitzel (California-based hotdog chain) once operated in Northern Virginia17m agoWienerschnitzel, a fast food hotdog chain based in California and mostly out west, announced a Virginia deal in 2025 (in Hampton Roads region) and it was billed as its first East Coast market. I found out that an old A-frame building in Alexandria was actually built as and briefly home to a Wienerschnitzel store in 1969! I recently have been on a hunt to create my ideal perfume roster, which would encompass unique, nostalgic, photorealistic but wearable perfume. Ideally would be perfumes I could get shipped or pick up from to the national capital region of Canada, as that is where I’m located. Here are a few scents on my list, with a brief description of the memory/scents tied to it. I would also be very open to any other nostalgic perfume ideas for the roster! # Incense and Smoke **Eerie incense** Would be almost the embodiment of loneliness, it lingers in the air. May remind you of a church. Note ideas: Cold incense, resin, myrrh, church air, stone, dust. Atmospheric, quiet, slightly unsettli... I’m curious if any of Cajel’s subliminals actually involve real magic or spells. I’m okay with intention-based spells using plants or scents (kind of like white magic), but I don’t want to use anything that involves demons as intermediaries. So, do Cajel Amirah’s spell subliminals really have actual magic in them, or is it just for the aesthetic? I checked the description but didn’t see anything \^\^ https://preview.redd.it/pnrhzpooyytg1.png?width=788&format=png&auto=webp&s=946bbada3673df94b94194f658debc1e4102c05a É Difícil Conseguir Visto para o Canadá? Low Carb/Low Fat Protein Sources-- please help!21m agoHi all, I'd really like to reduce my meat consumption, but I'm having a problem with the available vegetarian (ideally vegan) protein sources. While I'm aware of many vegetarian protein sources-- Greek yogurt, lentils/other beans paired with rice, edamame, tofu, tempeh, eggs, etc-- I can't seem to find many vegetarian/vegan protein sources that don't come with a decent amount of either fat or carbs. For example, to get \~30g of protein from tofu, I'd also be eating 16g of fat. To get the same amount of protein from chicken ******, I'd only be coming in at around 4g of fat. I know that egg whites and low fat Greek yogurt are very comparable to chicken ****... These pureveg folks are wild! 🎣21m agoBought a franchise before going vegan. Now I might have to sell dairy and meat products and I feel awful22m agoI feel like I put myself in a really bad position and I don’t know how to handle it ethically. I bought a franchise (smoothie/juice place) a few months ago, before going vegan. While I was going through all the legal and paperwork process, I started learning more about the realities of the dairy and egg industries and ended up going vegan for ethical reasons. It wasn’t gradual in a light way. It completely changed how I see things. I started reading labels, avoiding everything with animal products, and trying to inform myself and others as much as possible. The problem is that I realized all of this *after* I had already invested a lot of money and was halfway into the process. Everyo...
