I want to prep Kenji's Food Lab lasagna so that it can be baked 6-8 hours later, and have two specific questions about whether that will work. 1) The recipe says to soak the lasagna noodles—is that going to be an issue if they then sit in the pan with the other ingredients for a while before being baked? I noticed a thing, when people talk about "food" in Bangkok almost always refer to cheap street food. I heard even people saying that international cuisine in Bali or Kuala Lumpur is better than Bangkok, which is laughable. Personally, i think that street food is the least interesting part of cuisine in Bangkok. The best part are the middle-level japanese/korean/chinese/burma/brazilian/italian/lebanese/mexican food. Just returned from Laos (Vientiane → Pakse → Vang Vieng → Luang Prabang) and honestly, it’s one of those trips that quietly grows on you. Not flashy, not overwhelming, but deeply satisfying. Newest staging project. The plant was sold to me as a Turbinicarpus Knuthianus but I think it’s actually a big Ysabele. If anyone can confirm, that’d be cool. Regardless, it’s a great plant! Staging bits were collected locally. The main piece of wood is from the Gulf Coast and the whole display is top dressed with DG. The backdrop is two blank canvases screwed together, and the display base is created from a bunch of spanners + some shade cloth. Thanks for viewing!
