I'm putting out some feelers for Nairobi based caterers that are open to doing an event in Trans-Nzoia working in tandem with a local crew. August timeframe. The local crew would be cooking all the usual cuisine. Chapatis, ugali, kuku, etc. We're expecting guests from all over the world, from Europe, America, and Africa. Looking for a caterer that can provide elevated food that feels in place in the village. I would love it if the two catering companies could work together. Easy and quick, this Chana Chaat-inspired chickpea salad can be very simple or also benefit from additions. I did a very simple recipe with a bit of green chili, red onion and roast bhindi (okra) because I had some okra sitting in my freezer that I needed to use. But, you could add potatoes, tomatoes, fresh cilantro, parsely etc. I also mixed in some vegan coconut yogurt but that's optional, you could use oil instead. i’ll never understand some customers logic. I’m a dominos delivery driver and we have naval bases that we deliver to. Lately they have been upping the security and doing vehicle searches on all vehicles. The bigger base can take a very long time but the smaller base it’s usually quicker nonetheless. at the smaller base they recently implemented a protocol where they want us to either drive to the back gate for the vehicle inspections, which is way out of the way of our store or meet at the visitors parking lot that’s right we’re right in front of the gate and the building where we normally meet anyway. when it comes to base orders, we call ahead for the customers to meet us outs...

I planted this one at least 4-5hrs ago but I did it in a location where it will grow into electrical lines. I love it. It is so healthy but in a few years it'll grow into power lines and I can't exactly do much about that. Do you cut it to the base and use the tips and chunks to propagate etc? Do you cut it, let it scab and regrow, and then transplant it and put in another sexy cactus in a similar spot but maybe a tad to the right? Really not sure what to do with this one.

I have a 20L planted tank, fishless at this time (plants came with bladder snails, yay). My question is about my substrate. I saw a few videos that said to use Laterite powder as the base and then to cap it with something-which I did. But I see a lot of people say it’s useless. My cycle has completed and I want to start adding a few fish but I want to know - should I redo my substrate and just have my aqua soil? Or do you think the laterite powder won’t hurt anything?
