Hello everyone, I’ve recently started a vegetarian diet this week and have noticed significant improvements to my overall health and wellbeing. However the main concern I have with this diet is since I do some light lifting and cardio I’m worried that my protein intake will be too low with the foods that I eat, and since I need to maintain muscle mass this is a very important aspect for me to consider. I try to take in at least around 2/3 of protein per gram of my bodyweight (170lbs) but find it incredibly difficult since I’m limiting my sources of protein to mainly egg whites, beans and cheese. I’m getting sick of eating the same meals everyday and was curious to see if anyone here...

Just up-potted our tomato seedlings and see now that they are too pale green. Potted into 50% coco + 30% peat + 20% perlite. 4" nursery pots. Using Jack's 15-5-15 CaMg. Seedlings have 4-6 real leaves now. Can someone help me determine where to start with fertilization in this pot size/plant size? I do have a EC/PPM meter and can monitor/measure that way. In the 2x3's I was using 1/4t to a gallon of water with every watering and monitoring for salt overload (seed starting mix was also coco based). Flushed when there was salt buildup.

A few days ago I moved my female Betta to another tank, because she was attacked by another female betta multiple times and showing signs of stress. The new tank is empty, just 3 other otocinclus and thats it. She doesnt swim a lot, but seems to do a bit more as time passes. Also her stress stripe is gone. But I cant get her to eat. I’ve trown granulate and frozen food in front of her but she isnt interested at all. What do I do? Let it be and just check every day if she wants food? She isnt skinny, but still.. Any advice on this? Ps: tank is cycled, planted, tested all water parameters which are good.

Hi everyone! My latest batch is all thanks to alexandtheicecream on tik tok. I’ve never even thought of adding miso to ice cream and now I feel like I’ve seen the light. And while it sounds weird I promise it’s one of the best things I’ve ever tried being very similar to a salted vanilla but better! I made some changes to the salt and straw base swapping the sugar for brown sugar and using less due to the caramelized bananas and added white miso paste. We’ve been working on our 72L tank for a couple of months. NO2, NO3, NH3 and Ph levels have been fine since early on (based on the colour coded tests) and we’ve been cycling water regularly, have live plants that are thriving etc… Two weeks ago we added 6 neon tetras. one died over night but the other 5 spent a day happily swimming together… and then all died overnight the second night!
