Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Vegan Foods Latest Community Discussions About Vegan FoodsWhat can I grow in a north-facing balcony?5h agoHello everyone! I am new to gardening and just moved into a new place, what are some plants (preferably herbs or food but others too) that can grow without too much sun? It’s a northeast balcony so I get some sun in the morning but nothing by mid-day. Thank you! Looking for your plant-based crew? 🌱 I'm starting an IG group chat for vegans to connect, share inspiration, and...5h agoHey everyone! I love the Reddit community, but I’ve been craving a smaller, more tight-knit space to just chat, share daily vibes, and make genuine friends. I’m putting together a casual Instagram group chat for vegans to connect! What the vibe will be: 📸 Sharing daily food wins (and kitchen disasters). 🥑 Trading favorite recipes, product finds, and memes. 💬 A safe, supportive space to vent or ask for advice. ✨ Just hype each other up and build real friendships! Whether you’re a long-time vegan or just transitioning and looking for like-minded people, you are totally welcome. To make sure everyone can chat, connect, and feel included, we’re keeping this gro... First Europe trip: slow travel in France vs Italy for late June?5h agoI am currently planning my first ever trip to Europe. I will be visiting for 15-17 days starting from 3rd week of June, and this is my current rough itinerary- \* Amsterdam (3 days) - I want to check out a couple of schools I am applying to next year and the vibe of the city in general. \* Frankfurt (2 days) - Visiting some family. \* Italy or France (10 -12 days) I love historical places, small towns and cute street cafes. Food is also a major criteria when planning my travels. I have seen both Italy and France offer all of these, so I am confused which one to pick for this first visit. I do love the idea of slow travel, so I am open to keeping 2-3 cities/towns as my base and taking day... The weird deer in my yard won’t leave and now it won’t stop emoting5h agoI type this staring at that Bambi looking piece of **** sitting in the cheap lawn chair I got from Walmart. He’s sitting like my grandpa would after 3 beers (RIP Grandpa). Slouched with a big gut staring off into nothingness with an occasional and unexplained cough. I flipped off the deer just now, he held up his hoof, probably trying to replicate me but he ain’t got no fingers. I call the deer Alan after Alan Dracula from Infinity Train (highly recommend the show) anyway. I call him that specifically because like the character they both act in ways deers shouldn’t. I remember when my family and I first met Alan. We live a unique area, its suburban in a sense of having close neighbors ... Parksville Sunday Farmers Market launches May 31.5h agoWe're gearing up for the launch of our new Parksville Downtown Farmers Market, Sunday Opening day is scheduled for Sunday May 31st, with hours from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. We’re focusing mainly on farmers, bakers, and other food producers for the time being, and it’s set to be the only Sunday farmers market in the region, between Cedar and Cumberland. We’ll be anchored by Rooted Shores Farm, a community-driven sustainable farm project based in Snaw-naw-was, who will be bringing their eggs, broiler chicken pre-orders, farm raised produce and CSA boxes. Other farms and food producers, including the MAC Community Garden itself, will have local produce, baked goods, and other food prod... I wish there was more to do in-game.5h agoThe game is great, but after the novelty wears off, it quickly becomes redundant. I'm sure my ADHD patience doesn't help, but we can't even see what the miis are fighting/talking about. I REALLY hope Nintendo plans more updates in the future, because as of now, the game is bare-bones. It's a good starting point for sure, but I **** that we can't even be a part of the journey watching the mii kids grow up like we were in the other game. We could actively play with the children before they grew up, and I absolutely loved that aspect of the original game. I was disappointed when they didn't transfer that over. Personally, I would LOVE more personality types, and ... Looking at adding some raw food as topper for a trial, need reassurance5h agoWe have 3 pups and want to attempt transitioning to a raw diet or homemade cooked diet eventually. The plan is to start a homestead and raise enough meat to feed us AND the pups so we can stop buying dog food. I plan on working through a nutritionist and figuring out everything they need before making a full switch of course, plus we don't have the homestead yet. I want to start integrating some raw components to their diets, mostly just ground meats and maybe some bigger stuff for our golden retriever, but the yorkies won't get anything bigger than small fish/etc. I am going to start with fish and rabbit to see how they respond to both proteins. I know fish and lean meats are c... New to Pune, looking for genuine female friends around Kharadi5h agoI recently moved to Pune for work and honestly still getting used to the city. I don’t really know anyone here apart from my colleagues, and I realized I need friends outside of office too 😭 I’m 22, based around Kharadi, and looking for F friends around 22-25 who are also in the early stage of their career. Would love to have casual hangouts, explore Pune, try cafés/food places, attend random events, or just get out of the house once in a while. I’m an introvert initially, but pretty talkative once I get comfortable. Not looking for anything weird. If you’re someone who relates, feel free to DM Snapped aloe5h agoI accidentally snapped the base of my aloe plant 😭 do I let it callous for a few days or just stick it in the dirt? 23M From Delhi Looking for a Genuine Life Partner & Meaningful Connection5h agoHey everyone, I honestly never imagined I would make a post like this on Reddit, but life works in unexpected ways sometimes. After thinking about it for a while, I decided to give this a genuine shot instead of endlessly overthinking whether I should post or not. So here I am — a 23-year-old guy from Delhi trying to find a meaningful connection that could eventually turn into something serious, stable, and lifelong. I’m not here for casual conversations, short-term entertainment, or situationships. I’m someone who still believes in emotional connection, loyalty, understanding, and growing together through every phase of life. I know this platform is unconventional for something like... Tree care5h agoBought a house on a street where every other house has a prospering tree, and mine appears to be the runt. Any tips for what I can and should to to care for it? Had the place for a few years and I don't think it's grown much at all during that time but I also know next to noting about plant care so I haven't tried anything yet. Have thought about pruning the branches/sprouts near the base but don't want to do any damage if that's the wrong call. Any advice would be greatly appreciated Ressler’s Colossus5h agoHey Y’all! Nice sized collectors cut. Asking : $100 Shipping : Based on zip via pirate ship I’m happy to provide more photos and answer questions via DM without any problem. BIN (buy it now) will include a sticker, some kind of extra and tracking info. This one was just cut so it will need a week to dry. I’m so thankful for all my weirdo garden buddies that post pictures of their beautiful gardens and share these plants with us. I really mean that. There are some genuine artists an... Tomato troubles?5h agoZone 8b Any idea what’s going on with my tomatoes - or am I panicking prematurely? Planted them on 5/3 and they’ve been looking pretty sad since. Last year this bed had zucchini and cucumbers but I added some compost and 15% chicken manure amendment before planting and just yesterday added 4-5-3 tomato food. Weather this month has been mixed but mostly in the high 60s/low 70s with sun and rain. There was a week of cooler weather about a week after I planted. The garlic in this bed is also looking a little sad, and the plants in the other raised bed look pretty perky. Haven't been able to eat at my club's cafe for five years due to long lines from non-members - is there ever a...5h agoMy club is near a bunch of businesses and non-members have been coming in to grab a cheap lunch on their break for the better part of a decade (the problem really exploded after the pandemic). I guess it's become this culture among local workers - on weekdays half the customers in the food court are people not shopping, just eating. The line from 11a-2p is always longer than the whole food court and halfway to the exit doors. I'm not standing in line for 30+ minutes, and even if I did, the tables are all claimed. Much to my disappointment, my club was one of the few that never had the register removed when the Scan & Go became a \[temporary\] requirement for the cafe at... Currently on TRT 180 a week , planning to add Anavar or primo5h agoHey y’all , I’ve been on trt for about a month now. I’ve been consistently lifting for about 4-5 years. I have a solid base. I’m 6’ 202 lbs right now around 18-19% bf. I’ve been eating clean for the past 3 weeks as In locked in on whole foods only diet. I also have an active blue collar job so I get a lot of movement and hit the gym 3-4 times a week hard af. I plan to add anavar or primo soon , what are your experiences with that? Will it be smarter to drop more body fat before adding those two? Or a Recomp will be ideal with them included Ally fun facts :O5h agoI'll draw more ally sometime but for now here are some fun facts. enjoy \--- Species: Ivycat (nicknamed Ally in lore) Age length : 400 years if in best conditions. (Some even double) Females : under eye freckles Males : no under eye freckles can come in any colors from brown to green, any other colors like pink or yellow etc are genetically modified. (like axolotls) \- ally feels like a fuzzy leaf, the pins have miniscule barbs on them that are coated in extreme amounts of poision ivy toxcins that could make quite literally anything drop dead. \- during mating season, the pins on their tail curve outwards creating an ivy blossom. which for the entire season they must rely on the... I think this is my last day alive, avoid the forests at night.5h agoOut here, you either live long enough to be obsolete or you die early; it's neither kind nor forgiving. I am the last of my siblings sworn to this duty; my youngest sister, Nala, didn’t even make it to one full year of age, but my brother, Scott, and I were harder to get rid of. However, a few years back, he also found himself facing his final night before he had barely gotten any grey in his hair. I survived that night, thanks to him, I think, and my hair is now more grey than anything else. My teeth are yellowing, and I don't smile like I once did, more like the snarl of a wild animal when I crack it open, but that could just be an old habit of mine. Snarling comes easier than ... Breakfast!5h agoI find the way food is handled in game is very interesting but one thing that’s irking me is the lack of ability to cook breakfast foods without discovering them on a low level. Now for most people learning how to cook eggs is one of the simplest things you learn to make. Mind you I’m American so it’s probably different in other countries. But eggs are the easiest thing to cook! So why is the game showing me things like a vegan burger or hot dogs when I would think eggs at the very least should be at level 1 of the skill. Like the jam toast understandable but some of the breakfast food should definitely available at level one. Maybe I’m playing it wrong or something but just a little... Bacon-Wrapped Brown Sugar Chicken Tenders - easy sweet and savory appetizer5h agoThese are easy party-style chicken tenders wrapped in bacon and baked until the bacon crisps and the brown sugar turns glossy and caramelized. They work as an appetizer, game-day snack, or quick comfort-food dinner with rice, potatoes, or a salad. Ingredients: \- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, about 1 to 1.25 lb total - 6 to 8 slices regular-cut bacon - 1/2 cup packed brown sugar - 1/2 tsp kosher salt - 1/8 tsp black pepper - Optional: 1/4 tsp garlic powder or paprika - Optional: toothpicks for securing the bacon Directions: 1.
