New tank, just got some pearlweed today, and maybe some red root floater in the weekend. There is also a tiny anubias on the left corner if you didn’t see it. Looking for some plant suggestions to fill in the back. P/s: I’m planning on getting a betta. I got an allergic reaction on day 12 of taking rifaxin. Little itchy dots appeared on my chest and back, that eventually spread to my arms and legs & then all over my body. I thought it was die off symptoms but when I went to the doctor he said die off isn’t real and I was having an allergic reaction.. Has anyone else heard this? That die off isn’t real? I’ll agree it was an allergic reaction; that’s fine, but I find the other comment strange based on how much research I’ve done. He also said sibo can’t be caused by food poisoning which is where I thought mine came from so now I can’t tell if I trust this guy haha!

Seeking advice for my two sick snake plants :( I've had them for a year or two and have been fine but in the last two months or so they've been getting increasing sick. The leaves are yellowing and drying out from the root up. In the bigger plant most the leaves still seem healthy except for withering away at the base. They are in a room with a window but on the otherside of the room. They may get 3 hours or so of somewhat direct light when the sun is coming through the window, otherwise it's just ambient lighting. Hello! I'm planning on making an Indian dessert called carrot halwa for some friends which include vegans. I am wondering if I can replace the ghee that the original recipe calls for with vegan butter (spread) instead? The ghee/fat is used to toast some nuts and cook the carrots but I am not sure if I should use vegan butter or just a neutral flavour oil for this purpose.
