Currently having decision paralysis between these two locations until mid-March. From my own searching I've got pros for both. Uluwatu: - Beautiful cliffside views - Great vegan food variety - Solid speciality coffee options - Access to a bouldering gym - More social meetups (run clubs etc.) Kuta: - Great beginner surfing - Less crowded beaches - Slightly protected from rainy season trash from the west winds - More down-to-earth community My first thought was Kuta, because reading online seems to suggest that beginner surf if you stay in Uluwatu is hard to come by and that's something I'd like to try and get to an intermediate level at. I've noticed that people that don't eat pork usually feel superior or more justified to others that do because pigs are supposedly unclean. The PVD celebration started at 5 and was free and family friendly. It included a bridge only WaterFire at 530, and fireworks at 830. Hi everyone! This is my first fishless cycle and 10gal tank. I've only had one small planted tank before and that was a "learn as you go" situation. I got this 10 gal tank off FB marketplace. It included the sponge filter with airstone (still wet), fluval stratum (also still wet), aquaneat heater, and a walmart light. It had already been cycled before the person dumped the water and sold the tank. I got the driftwood from a tank at petco but boiled it for 30 minutes. All the plants are tissue cultures/tube plants. Im looking for advice from anyone who's partially or entirely plant based that also works out and lifts heavy. Im 32f and im trying to eat more plant based protein for my health but dont want it to effect my lifting. I've got a nutritionist who's helping but id like second opinions. Like for instance everything I read online says I should be getting 135-180g protein a day but she says I really only need like 80g.
