I wanted to improve our front yard so I had this wall built, dug down maybe 6 inches, crushed rock and paver sand and then these blocks. They’re glued together with construction adhesive. I put it far away from the base of the trees to hopefully not have the weight impact them. I was going to fill it in with dirt and plant some native plants in there with some lights and whatnot. Would adding that amount of soil damage the trees? If I can’t fill it with dirt (I don’t want to hurt the trees, I love them), what should I do? The wall is already glued together.

Hello, I know the title probably sounds absurd, but here me out (I'm VERY new at this). I have this (completely unscientific) theory that vegans/veggies are more likely to be able to handle really spicy food better than non-vegans? My thinking is that because so much vegan cooking relies on layering flavours, spices, seasonings and sauces etc, that we end up building a higher tolerance for heat over time?
