I wanted to share this in the order I began having symptoms incase if anybody else has presented this way since I have not read much about respiratory symptoms. I've got questions at the end. I am 21F. I have been in great health all my life and no preexisting conditions. Late January 2025 I began having difficulty breathing. It would be so hard to take a breath in I would begin having panic attacks at my office job, the ones that leave your arms and face tingling. I went to the urgent care and after an Xray they diagnosed me with bronchitis and I went on a course of steroids and antibiotics... Selling homemade food on Uber Eats / PickMe Food in Sri Lanka – real pros and cons?2h agoHi everyone, I’m planning to start selling **homemade food** through **Uber Eats and/or PickMe Food** and wanted to hear from people in Sri Lanka who have actually done this. I’m especially interested in **real experiences**, not marketing claims. Things I want to understand clearly: * Commission rates and how badly they cut into margins * Whether volume actually compensates for the commission * Payment cycles and delays * Hidden costs (packaging, refunds, promos you’re forced into) * Operational issues when cooking from home * Hygiene inspections or legal requirements you had to deal with * Which platform treats sellers better overall: Uber Eats vs PickMe * What you wish you knew ... First-time pilgrim doing the Norte in April, please advise :)2h agoHi everyone! Hope you're all doing well. I'm a new pilgrim that, for reasons outside my control, have to do some last-minute planning for my Camino trip in April. I'd really appreciate your advice and wise input for the questions I have about the whole thing. I've done my research, but I know there's a lot of Camino veterans and experts on Reddit so I want to cover all my bases. Here's some context to situate you guys about me and my plans before I ask my questions :) **About the trip:** * I plan to solo-hike a portion of the Camino del Norte over the course of two weeks in mid-April (14 days). * I'll be flying into Madrid! **About me:** * I'm pa... Now that auto shop contracts are over for GTA+, how much have you made so far from contracts alone?2h agoCurious what numbers are out there. Additives in the Masterbatch Industries2h agoThe Most common Additives in Masterbatch industries are:- **1. Antioxidants:** Antioxidants prevent polymer degradation from heat and oxygen, which is essential in high-heat applications like automotive parts. Pros: Extends product lifespan and prevents discoloration. Cons: May break down at extreme temperatures, which adds to costs. Recommendation: Tetrakis\[methylene(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyhydrocinnamate)\] methane (Primary antioxidant). **2. Slip Agents:** Slip agents reduce surface friction, improving process efficiency and product smoothness, especially in packaging films. Pros: Improves efficiency and reduces sticking in films. Cons: Can interfere with printing/adhesion, ... We open the tap, do our work, and move on. But today, water is becoming one of the **most threatened resources on Earth**. Saving water is no longer optional. It’s necessary. # Fresh Water Is Limited Even though Earth looks full of water, **only a small amount is usable freshwater**. That limited supply is now under pressure because of: * Growing population * Increasing daily usage * Poor water management Many places already face water shortages every year. # Climate Change Is Reducing Water Availability Climate change is changing how and when rain falls. * Some areas face long droughts * Others face floods that waste us... 14.3.2 King House City and Philosopher-Stone Sentient Hammer2h agoAccording to Nordic legend, there was a time when Thor had to wade through two rivers every day to go to the top of the Tree of Life to be a judge (as shown in Figure 14.3.2-37, 38), while his opponent, the I-sirs, went there through the Rainbow Bridge (as shown in the upper part of Figure 37). The two rivers Thor waded through represent the two sentient rivers, namely Filthy Soil and Middle Earth as shown in Figures 34 and 33. I-sirs believe that there are gods or something in the "No Objectively Have Sky" (as shown in Figure 2). Buddhism believes that the "No Objectively Have Sky" is the constant of mind mechanism, nameless, countless, and immeasurable, hence the name... Public companies focused on fungi (mushrooms)2h agoDoes anyone know of publicly traded companies that are actively working in the fungi domain, especially ones where more than 50% of their revenue comes from fungi growth, cultivation, or fungi-based products (especially mushrooms)? I have been searching but did not find anything worthy of investing with peace of mind, only very low revenue companies or ones that are fully private. Reason: Guard against food shortages, as growing mushrooms seems like a really stable and not problematic economic endeavor. Question from a non-vegan2h agoI've been gradually changing my diet over the past year or so to be more whole foods and plant-based, and I really understand the precept of not eating meat. However, I struggle with the "no byproducts" concept even if they're sourced locally from animals treated humanely. I have a vegan friend who just sends me shame videos about factory farming, which I agree is awful, but to me there is nothing wrong with eating byproducts if the animals aren't being harmed.... but my friend doesn't really have any other opinion other than the industry itself is bad. Can anyone elaborate on the mindset of full veganism versus vegetarianism in a way that's more logical ... Midden Gastrovermids2h agoThe Midden is a layer of wet detritus accumulated over the years on the disk-like structures of the Caryatid-Trees. It is a dark environment where most creatures navigate with echo- or electrolocation. The gastrovermids of the midden are endemic to the habitat, although some species originating here have also colonized the much bleaker deep reef situated below. A range of different lifestyles has risen from relatively few ancestral clades that first reached this environment, 20 meters above the forest floor. The sheer distance between the midden and the true forest floor is responsible for terrains having their own, respective detritivorous organisms although gastrovermids play huge role... How do you guys map out huge caves for exploration?2h agoSo I have this cave close to my base which I've yet to fully explore. I knew the cave would be huge but I still underestimated the size. There are intersections which have tunnels stacked on top of other tunnels which then lead to other tunnels. It's literally like trying to explore a spaghetti of tunnels and I've just been unable to keep track of it all. I'm seriously considering making several stacks of lanterns, wood blocks, fences, medical supplies and food to explore the whole thing. Recipe Idea2h agoYou all need to come out with a recipe for bear similar to the lox pie and call it Bear Wellington. 1- bear meat 1- boar meat 2- bread dough 2- mushrooms 1- onion 1- thistle Prepare at the food prep and bake in oven My fan project : Sonic Fractured Time2h agoHello guys, i have a idea for a fan project and it is a comics concept . It still a concept but i want to present it to you it's called Sonic Fractured Time the story is based on one of my theory so i'll sumarized for you. My theory is that there are three timelines in the sonic universe Classic sonic timeline, the one we controlled in every classic sonic game ( 1 through superstars), the modern sonic timeline, the on we controlled in every game ( 1 through frontiers) and a third one, it is the timeline of the classic sonic we see in generations. According to my theroy, the third sonic that we called echo along side his timeline that we'll called echo, has gone through every ... What are your tuna recipes? Make me like tuna (keep it lactose intolerant friendly please)2h agoI just had some bloodwork done, my Vitamin D is lower than it should be. I'm on a prescription to catch up, but I still need to get more Vitamin D into my diet. I looked it up, Vitamin D primarily is in cheese (can't eat it), eggs (I eat eggs a few times a week), yogurt (I can't do that anymore and the plant-based options are terrible), bran flakes, and fish and more fish and more fish. My doctor recommended tuna packets or canned tuna. I've never liked tuna, but it seems like it's going to be the easiest way to get that Vitamin D and the macros are insane (good insane). I just need it to taste good. Cherry Almond Overnight Oat Bran2h agoHas a slightly closer texture to blended overnight oats! In case anyone is interested, I’ll put the base recipe below. **Overnight Oat Bran** *Ingredients* * 1/4 cup oat bran * 2 tsp chia seeds * 2 tsp date syrup (or any sweetener) * 1/3 cup almond milk (or any milk) * 1/4 cup nonfat Greek yogurt * Small pinch of salt * Dash cinnamon (optional) * Dash vanilla extract (optional) *Method* Combine all ingredients in a small container and make sure to mix really well. Cover with a lid, foil, or cling wrap and place in the fridge overnight. Add any toppings you like when you’re ready to eat! *\*Texture is a bit thick so if you like it thinner add more milk.* Italy 1-10 May. Rome - Bologna/Verona - Garda. Rate my initerary.2h ago. Hello dear Italy-loving redditors! I will spend 9 nights in Italy in the beginning of May with my gf. Landing in Rome, flying home from Milano. ————————- Rome 2 nights: Landing early and looking to use that day fully, as well as the day after. With most activities booked in advance. After that second night I might stay some time during the day in case I missed something/still would like to explore some. And then later take the train to Bologna. Bologna 4 nights: Looking to get to know Bologna a bit better, and maybe have my base here. Or should I have my base in Verona maybe? But yes, get to know the city well, try the food and get a feeling. Either from here go... Animals killed for fur since Jan 1, 20262h agoDirectly from the site # Methodology and Sources Information about how data is calculated and sourced [HumanConsumption.Live](http://HumanConsumption.Live) displays real time estimates derived from annual production statistics and research based estimates. Live counts are calculated by converting annual totals into a per second rate and projecting forward over time. # Live counts The main counters show estimated totals since the selected start date such as January 1 of the current year. These figures are calculated projections and do not represent exact real world counts at any moment. # Historical totals The ten fifty and one hundred year totals are estimated using historically weigh... Hasn't bloomed in two years2h agoI bought this orchid two years ago. When I purchased it, it had big white blossoms on it that had been dyed blue. In the two years that it has been with me, it has grown five new leaves, twelve new roots, and ZERO new spikes. I water regularly, I spritz it with Miracle-Gro orchid food, it lives in a bright room with other orchids that bloom just fine. It is a very healthy and happy plant... but it just will not flower no matter what I do. I thought it might be something to do with the dye, but according to a Google search, that shouldn't affect its ability to rebloom all that much. The internet has run out of useful information for me. Maybe someone here knows something. ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
