Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Vegan Foods Latest Community Discussions About Vegan FoodsQuestion for the vegans30m agoWhat are your favorite fun food items/snacks/sweets to buy in Dublin? I read that Tesco has some cool vegan stuff, what do you think? Good replacement for this mulberry?30m agoThis Mulberry - not sure if native or hybrid (probably a hybrid) is quite close to the house/overhanging the roof. I’m in central Oklahoma where ice storms and wind bring down large limbs pretty regularly so unfortunately I’m planning to remove it. It provides amazing shade so I would love to keep it, but it has some discoloration (3rd pic) and is a little too close for comfort (unless you all can convince me otherwise!). I would love to plant something a little smaller in its place (but further out into the yard) that will grow quickly and provide similar shade to the area. Bonus points if it’s native to the region and/or provides a good food source for birds (or people!). AI for Good32m ago**Rome-Based UN Agencies Convene High-Level Panel on Scaling AI for Development at India AI Impact Summit 2026** • At the India AI Impact Summit 2026, IFAD, FAO, and WFP jointly convened a high-level panel to advance coordinated, ethical deployment of AI across agriculture, food systems, and rural development—emphasizing scalable, open-source tools and capacity-building in low- and middle-income countries. This marks the first inter-agency operational framework for “AI for Development” endorsed by Rome-based agencies, signaling a strategic pivot from pilot projects to systemic integration aligned with the SDGs. I’m really hoping for some help here. Here’s the background: I purchased this tree last summer, placed it in a pot, and it seemed to do fine all summer long. Over the winter I brought it inside and had a light on it for eight hours a day every day to try and prevent it from dropping all of its leaves. During that time, I tried to keep it watered, and occasionally gave it some fertilizer based on the advice of the person I bought the tree from. Over the course of the winter, I noticed that the leaves started having a yellowing to white look to them. Everyone I asked suggested that it was an iron deficiency, so I added some essential minor elements and hoped ... Guys, how do I make fertilizer at home using vegetable and fruit scraps? I'm looking for a recipe that's good ...33m agoSanity check / seeking advice on a micro-aquarium for very tiny creatures (no fish)34m agoI'm looking for some extra opinions on the viability of a very small micro-aquarium for tiny creatures like Daphnia, Scuds, Copepods, Ostracods, and maybe some sort of tiny snails like Bladder or MTS. The tank is a glass cylinder 4" in diameter and 18" tall, holding just under 1 gallon. My idea for the scape would be some fine lava rock gravel on the bottom, a few 1-2" lava rocks glued to the side of the cylinder, and 1-2 driftwood (like spiderwood or oak, nothing with significant tannins) branches with java moss covering most of their surface. I would like to add some other plants as well, like a couple Anubias Nana Petite, Cryptocoryne Parva (little crypts), and a littl... My ch. 232 theory that didn’t come true34m agoI'll just be posting my csm 232 theory that didn't come true. Let me know what you think. I'm considering making a fic/hoping someone does something with this idea. "On that day, alone..." (the Japanese captions for the end of 231) The chapter starts with a flashback from Pochita's perspective from when Denji was out looking for him and eventually fell asleep glad that they were reunited. Pochita will have an emotional moment of hesitation thinking of Denji's joy and relief with Pochita and ultimately wish that Denji can find him again like he did innocently as a child. Return to the real world. Denji is spat out from the devil that ate him due to Yoru fi... Delta One lounge in Boston is underwhelming; opt for JFK’s D1 lounge instead35m agoHi friends! Writing to you from the Delta One Lounge at Boston Logan. Flying out to Paris tonight, spending 2 nights at La Reserve there and then on to FS Yacht. I haven't shared much in the way of flight / lounge reviews but I couldn't find too much detail on this Delta One Lounge online so hopefully it will help someone make a future decision. If y'all find flight / lounge related content helpful, let me know and I can share more in the future. I'm sad to report that I'm a bit disappointed in this Delta One lounge. Don't get me wrong, it's nice but my expectations were much higher because of the sister lounge at JFK. I've flown out of JFK's D... which version would you use?35m agoHey everyone, I'm validating a personal finance app idea before writing a single line of code. Would love honest feedback, especially if you think it's a bad idea. The problem I'm solving: most personal finance apps are built for businesses or for people who already have their finances together. Nothing exists for the person who just wants to stop being confused about where their money went every month. The concept: you scan your receipt after every purchase using your iPhone camera. No bank login. No complicated setup. App reads the total, categorises it automatically, and builds your spending picture over time. I have three directions I'm considering and I can only... F/36/5'7 [197>145 = 52 lbs] (13 months) got tired of being tired37m agoLast year got tired of how much my pants pinched me when I sat down and how hard it was to breathe. High cholesterol and blood pressure. Told myself the weight wasnt going anywhere fast and that I needed to make small changes, time would pass regardless and i was tired of being tired. I joined r/stonerfood and found great recipes and started to learn to cook with whole foods. I stopped eating out so much and make all my favorite "fast food" at home. I watched Youtubes on processed foods and what we are really eating. I swapped sour cream with nonfat plain Greek yogurt and use that to make veggie dips, added in Chili, tacos, baked potatoes, burritos. I eat so much of that and just p... Gamemode idea!!!38m ago[-<**"JUJUTSU JUMPING"**>-] There should be a roguelike/roguelite gamemode. Yeah, similar to games like the Binding of Isaac, enter the gungeon or skul. Perhaps Balatro and Dead celka. Up to 4 or 5 players In a team enter a "run" where they get nothing but an R at the start. There would be two stages - Rounds, where the players fight npcs, and level ups - where dead players revive. In level ups you'd get to choose one permament power up from 4. There would be 12 upgrades in total (4 base moves, 4 ult moves and 4 start ups, health, less evasive bar required, more max ult or more walk speed). You wouldn't be able to get base moves in ult and no... First Post of Sustainable Vancouver!38m agoHi folks! Creature sale March 25th 202642m agoSorry I'm a little late to this one been a little under the weather. Here I am though, once again throwing together a post where I compare the normal price of the sale creatures along with the sale price and the rewards you get from leveling the creatures up. I convert the book prices into pages based on how many pages it would take to create the books in the page exchange (10 pages for brown and red books, 20 pages for blue books, and 30 pages for yellow books) Couple special notes for this sale the Acromantula while on sale actually earns you 50 more pages worth of books then it costs to buy once you level it up. Also if you don't have the black lake it's worth adopting the... Wegovy users needed for Psychology dissertation/research questionnaire (short, anonymous) - prize draw as thanks!43m agoHello! I'm a Psychology researcher looking for people to complete a brief, anonymous online survey about thoughts and feelings about food and drink. We're interested in hearing from people using weight loss medications! Vest Strap Style Packs44m agoLooking for a pack for my upcoming CDT thru and I’m currently fixated on the idea of packs with vest straps so I’m looking for some opinions. Which ones do you have experience with? Are they as comfortable as they look? How much weight do you think is your limit for comfort? I’m currently looking at Nashville Cutaway 30, Zpacks Nero, and Redpaw Flatiron as my top contenders (Dandee looks really nice but lead times are to far out). They are all big investments and I have some concerns. I hear some people say the Nashville can get uncomfortable around 18 pounds which is a bit of a shock because my Palante v2 was good up until around 25 and it had quite narrow straps. I also can’t find... Is there a UK Equivalent of DollarTree?45m agoI'm a big fan of DollarTreeDinners on Youtube, she's really nice and very creative with meals and with money being tight just now a lot of her recipes have been very useful. The issue is that DollarTree is an American supermarket chain (obviously) so it's not available here. Poundland isn't QUITE the same thing so I was wondering what people would recommend as a low cost option similar to Dollar Tree? Not looking for freezer meals/frozen food options as my freezers pretty small (Iceland is okay but too freezer food focused for what I'm looking for), I'm asking more about shelf stable options like cans, vacuum packed/dried beans etc. TIA! Going to give Fussy a try! 🌝 (+ Discount code)45m agoI used to be a Wild costumer until the whole Unilever situation - it didn't feel right for me but I still do understand why some people still choose to use them, no judgement 🤍 (I still have plenty of their lip balm refills left, will cry when it runs out tbh). Since then, I've been on the hunt, fell for a great local brand. It's based on low waste vegan products, super good quality but the price is up there (like $23 for a deodorant creme for 2 months, sometimes up to 3). 😅 Tonight I decided to give Fussy a go, after reading through and through - I had to switch deodorant soon and seeing the $23 vs $8 for what is supposed to last the same amount of time?? Of course... Idk if this is allowed here, but this sub helped me a lot lol and im quitting tbc, would rather give my account away tha...47m agoFirst Brew47m agoSo, been thinking all day what I wanted to brew as my first coffee with the xBloom. Do I go, Colombian with a Wilder Lazo Natural Carbonic Maceration Gesha, or a DAK Ethiopian Washed Heirloom. Neither, I went Brazilian Hard Lines House Party classic. I freaked myself out not sure if I was going to do justice to the DAK and the Gesha. I also created my first recipe for this coffee (so no pressure). Well, I’m super happy with my first cuppa. Nice and sweet with lovely chocolate and dried fruits. Simple. Here is my recipe if anyone is interested. It’s based on the 4:6 method I’ve been using manually. https://share-h5.xbloom.com/?id=XvEo0%2FbXxgRtQlAtfvSljA%3D%3D PS: Ignore the socket in... How do you manage save file names?49m agoAs per the title, how do you manage save file names? I randomised them from 1-4 words, from a food based name pool and found it quite funny, and it's probably something I'll stick with. The actual file follows the below format, but I think it's overkill: timestap\_savename\_uniquestring.tres Just curious how others handled this, mainly to achieve something that will be wholly unique. ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
