Help with Boa Terrarium1h agoHello :) I am currently planning on building a Terrarium for my Boa Imperator „Terra“. He is a 2,5 year old male about 100cm and 1037kg as of last time I weighted him. He is currently kept in a quarantine terrarium of 120x40x40cm and it’s time I upgrade him to his new terrarium. Which is a 160x60x60cm osb wood with a selfmade background out of Make-Make concrete and Styrofoam. For anyone panicking on it being too small, if Terra outgrows that terrarium eventually, I will build a bigger one and give that one to a smaller snake in the future. I care a lot for my snakes and want to give them the best :) Now for the technical part and where I need the help: I want to have an Arcadi... On Monday I need to cut out all soy, dairy, egg, nuts and gluten. Does anyone have any suggestions for easy, bulk cookab...1h ago I need to cut out all of the above foods. I tend to eat a lot as I'm over 6ft tall and active so they need to be big, filling meals. I want to reach or get close to reaching 180g of protein per day. I'm somewhat broke and so the meals need to be on the cheaper side. I'd prefer a mix of meat and non meat dishes. Too much meat makes me feel bad for the animals and too many beans makes me feel sick in the stomach. I'd like them to be bulk cookable or really easy to throw together as I'm limited on time/energy. Thanks in advance, keen to see your recipes! On Monday I need to cut out all soy, dairy, egg, nuts and gluten. The Amazing Digital Circus is a prequel to Security Breach.1h agoC&A got their hands on The Mimic program in the 1990s which they modified and used as a base for THEIR own creative AI project, which led to Caine, Abel and the entire Circus. We know that The Mimic is somehow "split into two", the sun and moon motif that we see throughout the games, just like the Red and Blue AIs made by C&A. And although Caine is a "corrected" version of The Mimic (much more of a sympathetic tragic figure who is not really evil, just egotistical which leads to his downfall), this want to merge never left him which is why he devoured Blue. https://preview.redd.it/zkagf96ysksg1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&... Fried rice (vegan) my pure plants1h agoI stopped deciding what to eat when I was tired so it fixed everything1h agoI used to fail to eat healthy every week not because I didn't care but because I was too tired to make good choices about food. A few weeks ago I tried something easy, I stopped thinking about food at the end of the day. I chose a few simple foods like eggs rice yogurt chicken and vegetables so I had one rule: **carbs - protein - and some green** That's all. no diets no recipes, Since that time, I eat better without trying to, I don't order food all the time anymore. I feel more in control and to be honest my mood is much better. I didn't need more discipline after all, I just needed a basic plan. How do you cope with pill formed medication when you’re constantly puking?1h agoProbably a ******* question but I’ve never seen it discussed here. So this condition has eaten away at me for the last two and a half years solidly, and the one thing it has created is more depression, anxiety, and caused my bipolar and overall mental health to go into the shitter after working years to get out of it and go to therapy. My GI, and my PCP Both have me take a bunch of medications for multiple diagnoses. Severe anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, bipolar 2 and the GP/CVS. HOWEVER I’m hoping I’m not the only one that struggles with taking medications while having this diagnoses. My CVS absolutely hasnt allowed me to take it because it is CONSTANT. I’m completely fine t... American Heart Association urges people to favor plant-based proteins, replace full fat dairy1h agoWeek 12: Recycle - Orange Velvet Madelines with Cream Cheese Drizzle1h agoI hope this counts. It's not \*exactly\* an old recipe. Many moons ago, my neice asked me to make her cupcakes for her 8th birthday. I asked what her favorite cake is "Red Velvet. But I **** the color red." "Ok, fine, what's your favorite color?" "Orange" and thus Orange Velvet was born. Over the years, I've made orange velvet cookies, brownies, cheesecakes, cakes, cupcakes for birthdays, orange velvet muffins for her high school graduation brunch. We made orange velvet sourdough together when she moved out on her own and wanted to learn bread. Any baked good that can be orange velvet-ed, we've orange velvet-ed. This past weekend she t... Just hit 1.2M monthly impressions on Pinterest with a recipe blog — all organic, no ads1h agoNumbers from the last 30 days (March 2026): 1.2M impressions (+16%) 25k outbound clicks to the blog (+41%) 82k engagements (+36%) 9.2k saves (+45%) 786k total audience Everything is trending up and I haven't spent a single dollar on promoted pins. All organic. The crazy part is I started this site less than a year ago. I publish recipe content consistently, optimize pins for search, and let Pinterest do its thing. No fancy hacks, no viral tricks. Outbound clicks going up 41% month over month is what gets me the most. That's real traffic hitting the blog, real ad revenue. For anyone still on the fence about Pinterest — it's not dead. It's honestly the most under... First China trip: Beijing + Xi’an or Shanghai + Chengdu?1h agoI’m helping a friend think through a first trip to China, and we keep coming back to these two combinations: Option 1: Beijing + Xi’an Option 2: Shanghai + Chengdu The trip would be around 7–9 days, and the traveler is mainly interested in: \- iconic first-time experiences \- good food \- manageable logistics \- not feeling too rushed \- a mix of history and modern city life My instinct is that Beijing + Xi’an gives the strongest “classic China” first impression, while Shanghai + Chengdu might be easier and more relaxed. For people who’ve done one or both: \- Which pair would you recommend for a first-time visitor? \- Which feels more rewarding in under 10 days? ... Unofficial Skin Idea for Sledge1h agoDude ik sledge has a million elites but ion see anyone else suitable. I don’t do concept art or design for a living — this was just a fun idea I had and I tried to visualize it a bit so people could see what I meant. And to all the artists out there your art is way better this was made with the help of AI because of my lack of skill. I’ve always thought Sledge from Rainbow Six Siege would fit a Kratos-inspired elite skin really well because his whole playstyle is basically brute force and breaking through walls. So I imagined a crossover-style concept called “Spartan’s Wrath.” The main idea would be replacing the breaching hammer with something inspired by the Leviathan Axe wh... nothing wrong with a classic chocolate chip cookie1h agoI forgot to take pics until half were already ate by my household lol, couple days ago I tried a very fancy and time consuming vegan chocolate chip cookie recipe and they were pretty good but not amazing, so yesterday I made these just basic ones, literally just nestle tollhouse’s recipe but I veganized it How Eco Friendly Paper Plates Help Reduce Plastic Waste at Home1h ago# Introduction Plastic waste has become one of the biggest environmental problems in the world today. Every household contributes to this issue in some way. From packaging materials to disposable items, plastic is used in daily life without much thought. One of the common items used at home is disposable plates. While they offer convenience, many disposable plates contain plastic coatings that make them harmful to the environment. As awareness grows, people are now looking for better alternatives. Eco friendly paper plates are becoming a popular choice for households that want to reduce their plastic use. These plates are designed to be safe, sustainable, and easy to use. They provide the... Solo day at Universal was less awkward than I thought, but I made one money mistake1h agoI had a work trip in Orlando and added a solo park day at Universal since I could not justify flying all the way out and not going. I was honestly a little anxious about doing it alone, but once I got through the gates it was way less weird than my brain had made it out to be. The best part of going solo was how flexible the day felt. I bounced between areas based on wait times, used a few single rider lines, and did not have to haggle over what to do next. I even took a quiet break with a snack and just people-watched for a bit without feeling like I was slowing anyone down. My one money mistake was not paying attention to how fast small purchases add up when you are by yourself and...
