Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Vegan Foods Latest Community Discussions About Vegan FoodsStop Treating Salad Like a Side Dish13m agoIf a salad feels boring or leaves you hungry, it’s usually because it’s built like decoration instead of food. A real salad eats like a full meal, not a pile of lettuce with punishment vibes. The biggest shift is thinking in components, not recipes. You don’t need fifteen ingredients or some perfect combo. You need balance. Something fresh, something filling, something fatty, something crunchy, something acidic. That’s it. My everyday version looks like whatever protein I already planned to cook. Roast chicken? Slice it over greens. Leftover steak? Instant steak salad. Even a burger works chopped over vegetables with mustard and mayo as dressing. Same flavors you already like, just... Nightmare in Nova Scotia16m agoHorror story in Nova Scotia Did the title grab you? I know you are expecting a horror story with jumps and a monster or killer right? It is not that kind of horror story; this is about a real person who has to battle every step of the way against giants who are supposed to be our protection and support. I keep racking my brain trying to figure out the best way to grab attention in order for people to read my story, I know it is long and people tend to skip over, to much time to read. My title is valid, anyone in similar circumstances will identify with story and yes there is others. I want to start this by saying this has been in progress for YEARS. I don't know if I have the words... Future of Wellness Incentives and Wearables in PMI Policies17m agoHi all, Been doing some reading on how wellness incentives and wearables are starting to properly intersect with PMI policies, and thought I'd share a summary of the key points as it's a topic that seems to come up here quite a bit. The basic idea of rewarding healthy behaviour isn't new. Most of us are familiar with the current wellness programmes from major insurers. They work on a simple premise: the healthier the members, the fewer the claims, so they offer perks to encourage activity. Right now, these rewards are typically things like: - Discounts on gym memberships - Vouchers for healthy food at places like Waitrose or M&S - Cinema tickets or free coffees for ... 9 Easy Potato Recipes for Comfort Food Lovers (Simple & Crowd-Friendly!)18m agoRelease 1.5.120m ago**Date**: April 27, 2026 # What’s new * **Busy Days assistant**: Get help with **calendar events and tasks**, **meals and recipes**, and **in-app documentation** in chat. * **Multi-day meal planning**: Plan meals across several days with AI recipe suggestions based on dietary needs and allergens. * **Recipes and groceries**: Mark recipes as favorites, filter AI-generated or handcrafted options, and add ingredients to your grocery list in one tap. * **Child accounts**: Children get a simpler app focused on tasks and events; parents can set effort goals and manage the account. * **Co-parenting**: Invite multiple parents for a child. * **Chore approvals**: Group owners can require approval ... Which PLC-based system I could create in small-scale for my Graduation Project?20m agoHey, I am planning to create an IIoT application for a PLC-based control system that I physically built. I have access to a Rockwell Lab thanks to the uni, so I have access to PLCs and I can buy additional sensor etc if they are not unreasonably expensive. I would like to mimic a PLC-Based control system in small-scale and integrate that system into the IIoT ecosystem. I would like to show that I can code PLCs, can use protocols to communicate sensors and PLCs. I want the IIoT system to be used for monitoring, alerts etc. I think I could use raspberry pi. I did an internship in a frozen food and pastry factory, the IIoT system was used to monitor which product was being produced, the effic... Any other therapists that had a bad turn in health that they were able to heal and continue in the field?21m agoI'll try to make this concise but I have been dealing with some health issues for 4 years now. It started at the last agency I was at and got incredibly bad before I finally quit with no soft spot to land. Fast forward about 18 months later after I quit and my condition is improving but not resolved. It started initially with some nausea and indigestion but as stress at the agency went up my health declined rapidly. It escalated to the point of throwing up daily, often several times a day and was difficult to anticipate. I called in sick a lot and got in trouble for it, but when every day was a 7-8 on the SUD scale showing up at all was remarkable. There were days I was literally sick ... Forsaken Azure skin concept: Underpaid Worker (Or just Underpaid)28m agoSkin name: Underpaid Worker (Or just Underpaid) Description: "...We serve food here, sir." Cost: 600$ Based off: Mr. Tentacles Roblox Hat, Roblox visor and Squidward from Spongebob I already suggested this on the X post about Azure skins so hopefully it gets accepted or just noticed. :) Animal drops and weapons28m agoJust wondering if the chance of hunted drop items changes based on whether you use alpha or standard weapons. I’ve been searching for a plant hammer for ages now. The other day I noticed when I was catching the lizards I wasn’t getting the spark sac things when I was using an alpha weapon but it may have just been a coincidence. I haven’t tried dangerous mode after the switch update so that’ll be my next tactic. Oyster shucking—why is it sometimes easy and sometimes soooo difficult?29m agoI’m not a great oyster shucker, only been doing it a few years, and the most I ever shuck is a dozen at a time. I’m sure I’d benefit from some hands-on instruction, but I’ve only watched videos. My question is this: why is it that sometimes my oysters take me forever to open, causing me endless frustration and sometimes leading me to give up and broil them to open, whereas other times (like today) I buy the exact same variety and they require barely any effort at all? I generally buy the 12 for 12 bucks Friday special at Whole Foods, if it matters (Wellfleets are my faves). The only thing I can think of is that it’s a difference of the harvest date. Based on my keeping them for a ... Extremely low effort & quick veggie meals?30m agoI know this sounds like something I could easily just look up, but a lot of what I find when I do that is still more effort than I want so please bear with me I’m autistic, and while I don’t have many sensory issues with food anymore I do struggle a lot with executive function, particularly when it comes to making food. I also often struggle to recognise that I’m hungry until my stomach hurts so between that and the time and effort it takes me to go from wanting to make food to actually making food, feeding myself is a big task for me. Although I like trying new and more elaborate recipes when I have the spoons and those will always be vegetarian now, I make sure I always have pasta... Consistent rice supply for European markets.30m agoRice is one of the most essential food commodities globally, and European markets rely heavily on imports to meet growing demand. Indian rice stands out due to its grain consistency, cooking quality, and large-scale availability. The journey starts from cultivation, followed by milling, polishing, and grading to ensure uniformity. Buyers across Europe often evaluate rice based on grain length, broken percentage, moisture levels, and cooking texture. Maintaining consistency across shipments is critical, especially for distributors and food businesses. With strong supply chains and export systems, Indian rice continues to support global food demand efficiently. Reach out for rice varieties, ... Anyone else struggle with eating healthy without giving up cultural foods? (energy/mood feels off too)30m agoI feel like this doesn’t get talked about enough… A lot of people want to eat better, have more energy, feel more in control—but the advice out there doesn’t reflect **how we actually eat culturally**. It’s always: “cut this out” “don’t eat that” “start over” But what if your meals are tied to your culture, your family, your comfort? That’s where a lot of people get stuck. I’ve been helping people reset their **food, mood, and energy** without throwing away the foods they grew up on. Not dieting. Not restriction. Just learning how to: * structure meals in a way that keeps your energy stable * adjust portions/timing without losing flavor or culture *... Regarding My Earlier Post About RSPB Advice36m agoConsider planting native plants that are food for birds if you are sad to see them disperse, such as hawthorn or thistles. When I was able to reflect on it, I noticed a clear pattern and connection between certain “treatments” I did and what MM says about them. I did lots and lots of acupuncture. I am aware that AW says the needle pricking releases adrenaline. I recalled that I always walked out of my acupuncture sessions saying “I don’t really know what happened, but my legs do feel somewhat better”. It never lasted long-term, but I kept going back more and more. No real results in the end. I did a good bit of intermittent fasting.
