I grew up in the mountains so my childhood garden was at over 7500 feet. My new garden is down around 6000 ft. Is my growing season going to be noticeably longer? I'm giving keto a shot, but I also have extremely severe tinnitus that suddenly developed about a year ago. The only solution to keep the volume down, that I've found, is to consume very little sodium. I do not add sodium to anything, ever, and I use potassium salt and potassium-based baking soda. Up until I started keto, I even made sourdough with potassium salt. Keeping my tinnitus down, I probably consume no more than 1g of sodium per day. I do, however, eat a ton of potassium, and supplement bioavailable forms of magnesium twice a day.
