Hello! When I was in Verona a little over a year ago I had this "braised fennel cream" and it is without a doubt one of my most favorite dishes I have ever had. The item and its ingredients is second down in the starter list. My problem is that whenever I look up recipes for fennel cream none of them look like this. This had a very starchy thick texture that almost felt like a bread starter with how thick it was. You can sort of see what I mean if I am describing it right. I live in SW Florida. I started this plant from seed. The parent is unknown. It has been growing for about three years and has yet to bloom. It did branch at the base of the plant, but the leading stock just continues to grow tall. So far I have treated it as a normal house plant concerning watering. It’s that time of year where you want the garden to pop, moved in last year and the border around the rockery was over grown with no definite edge from grass to rockery. Using a half moon spade I defined the border and removed 3 rubble bags of overgrowth, weeds and roots. In all the soil all the way down is lots of broken crockery and glass some of its blue Japanese and jam jar bases. Why would it be in there and should I leave it in? I am setting up my tank. It has been cycling for a little over a month now. I added about 5 ghost shrimp about a week ago. They have been dying, and I only have 2 now. The water parameters are great and the temperature is steady. Everything is in safe zones. The plants are still growing in still, and I don't want to get a fish until there are more hiding places and enrichment. I have been feeding the shrimp, so I don't think they are dying from lack of food. I don't know if they attack each other? The stock build is rock-solid, but it runs on **fixed personality parameters** and can't adapt to the environment, the time of day, or your route.
