Hi everyone! I used this subreddit a lot last year when looking for vets to clean my cat’s teeth. We wanted a reasonable price and some flexibility since we anticipated she might need at least one tooth pulled. Most of the info I found here was a few years old so wanted to add some updated info to the mix for any other pet parents looking for similar information. Keep in mind, these are all estimates provided by the vet office. We ended up going with Canyon Park. It's always absolutely puzzled me - like, is there someone specific or does the same guy who trims the hedges just get told to feed the peacocks sometimes? Is there a vet? Who knows???

Went for a walk with the family yesterday morning and the state of the Dene/Pets Corner is just so disappointing. How does every other council area (Gateshead, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Sunderland, Northumberland) have incredible parks, great for families and kids whereas the Dene is just sh\*te. Market was heaving on Armstrong Bridge and the Dene is just dirty, trees on path, sh\*te everywhere.

Has anyone lost a pet rat recently? We saw this one in our backyard today and I don't think it's a wild rat. We don't want to kill it if it's someone's pet. Corner of 27th and Bowdish in Spokane Valley.

I'm working on something of a dream home, and the upstairs has been giving me ****. I think I'm satisfied with the room placement (**** stairs, lowkey) but now I'm left with this big nothingness in the right corner. I can't put any windows on that wall thanks to a round roof on the outside. I can only think of a dedicated pet corner, my fiancé suggets a big library. like the title says my kitty loved playing with these but recently she has started to eat them, so i was wondering if there are any alternatives to them. i have bought other kinds of balls (it came in a pack with one with a bell and a spikey one) and she wont touch them? we have one that goes in a circle which she plays with but i would love to get her one she can chase around the apartment with.

Guys you have to be careful and atttentive of what you feed to your cats. I was checking my cats’ bowls and I saw huge as in HUGE fish bone left in the bowl, so I checked the remaining cat food I placed in the tupperware and I saw that there’s really huge fishbone. Good thing my cat didn’t eat it and left it in her bowl for me to see. If something happens to my cat I will sue the online shop. PS. Hey, first time poster here. A while back this spider moved into the corner of my room and I never moved her out because she kept catching and eating the moths that would fly into my phone screen while I was doomscrolling at night. Over time, I got to watch her grow, and quite substantially at that. She was just a little thing when she first showed up, but now she's probably two inches long from her back legs to her front ones in this picture. It’s now been a full day since we got Murphy. He had settled so fast. As I said yesterday, I didn’t think we would see him for at least a couple of days. Instead, he is clearly a loving boy who wants to hang out. Things we’ve learned - he doesn’t like super loud stuff (I’m with him on this) like noisy doors closing. He *does not* like the cat bed we got him. He’s not a *huge* fan of the fancy wet food we got from PetCorner. He does, however, ADORE the gigantic cat tree. He likes the dry food from PetCorner.
