Happy birthday Tom, it won't be long now until the lovely and enchanting Mrs. Tom (Shirley) is pushing you around in a wheelchair and spoon feeding you breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ok, seriously….happy birthday….there’s no way I make it even remotely close to 90. **Fair Grounds** **Race: 10 (5:30 PM EST)** **Silverbulletday Stakes** **1) Atropa** is a good looking, $450,000 daughter of Into Mischief who rallied from 11 lengths back to miss by half a length vs much tougher last time out. Greggs breakfast deal is still the best in the UK!6d agoRegular Breakfast Roll with Hot Drink at £3.40 and Double Breakfast Roll deals at £3.75. It’s been carrying me through rushed mornings for 3 years now and still feels like daylight robbery in the best way. Even with prices creeping up everywhere else, nothing else comes close for quick, hot, satisfying fuel that actually fills you up. The best meal so far - NHS Fife8d agoI survived the yeeterus surgery! Total hysterectomy and cancerous cyst removal. I’m now 4 days post-surgery and finally eating solid food again. I dislike most soups so have spent three days surviving on yogurts and icecream which is fine, i’ve not had much of an appetite. ANYWAY after a mid breakfast and lunch, along comes supper with this absolute banger of a sausage roll which might take the title of the best hospital meal i’ve ever had. I’m probably vastly overselling it but it was nicely spiced, not greasy and hotter than the sun - vastly better than any greggs sausage roll. Wedges could have had a bit of spice but still tasty. the beans were good and thick too, but I couldn’t... Making On Cinema Shirt13d agoHello all! So my girlfriend got us tickets to the VFA tour in April of this year, and I can’t even believe it. I’m so excited that I decided to make a sure to try and give to Gregg Turkington while I’m there. Basically it’s hard to get only like 2 or 10 shirts made, most printing places have a minimum. So I wanted to reach out and see if anybody else would be interested in buying a shirt (if they even get made). The quote I got was for a minimum of 36 shirts to be printed. At $10 a shirt, and $25 per screens used in process. So around $410 with some tax added on top. I would price each shirt out so that i break even for the most part. Not really trying to make money off this, just ... Isaac Bell Frankly, Gregg wasn't even a real writer. He'd tell you that himself, he'd say, “Oh, I'm no Stephen King. I just like to scribble a bit sometimes for fun, you know.” If it came up at all that is, his writing, and it usually didn't, for a couple reasons. Firstly, because most of what Gregg wrote was poetry; he knew that as a general rule poems were rarely of interest to anyone besides their author and didn't presume his own would be exceptions, though he liked a few of them quite well. (Sometimes at night he'd dare to think, maybe it was only the wrong time - all the celebrity poets had been dead for ages, even celebr... baking times24d agohow long does all the breakfast stuff go in the oven for? been scheduled for an open with a sandwich maker and another person who cant do bake off so im gonna be stuck on there with zero training on breakfast need to know how long for baguettes, croissant and pain au choc, bacon sausage omelette hash browns vegan sausages and whatever else there might be Greggs to put prices up by end of year33d agoAs per [Sky News](https://news.sky.com/story/money-latest-inflation-interest-rate-personal-finance-consumer-news-13040934?postid=10714449#liveblog-body): *Greggs has confirmed that it will increase the prices of some of its products by the end of the year.* *The bakery chain told Money that "small price changes" will be made this month due to rising costs and inflation.* *It comes after the latest economic data showed this morning that UK inflation eased to 3.2% in November, with food inflation falling from 4.9% in October to 4.2%.* *"Many of our customers' favourites, such as breakfast and sandwich meal deals, will not change," a Greggs spokesperson s... I knew they’d be posh, or they couldn’t afford a nanny in the first place. I fold the cuff of my cardigan over, so that the ripped hem doesn’t show, and deposit the half-drunk Greggs takeaway latte in the neighbours’ wheelie bin. I should have splurged for a Starbucks. Just Eat UK refusing to refund items not delivered40d agoI feel silly writing this, especially as it's my first reddit post, but I'm quite annoyed. I placed an order with Just Eat UK this morning for a Greggs breakfast deal (hot drink, bacon roll with extra bacon, and hash browns) and box of yum yums. Courier presented me with only the yum yums (no bag or receipt) and advised that that was all he had been given by the staff. Raised a complaint using the automated help feature and received an email this evening advising that they would not refund me for the items I did not receive. This doesn't seem right? I paid for items and delivery but did not receive them. Should I have refused delivery? 12 week review46d agoHi all, I have my final 12 week review this weekend and i’m still a little iffy about all of the deal prices, will this impact my chance of carrying on with the job.. i only work weekends, one day on sandwiches so I don’t get much practice on them. alsooo does anyone know the increased breakfast deal prices? thank you!!! breakfast deals47d agoDo any greggs employees know the price of the breakfast roll and baguette deals, I could’ve sworn they’ve gone more expensive.. Not really getting much training48d agoI started a few weeks ago but since im only on a 6hr contract its been 4 shifts so far, ive had an opening, closing and two mid day shifts but overall i feel like i just get left to do my own thing a lot which considering ive had a job before (although not at all related) i dont get too stressed, if i need help i just go and ask. The issue comes is the other new start is a 16yo newly out of school and he does his best but we've had pretty much the same shifts and hes been taught next to nothing, it ends up being me teaching him things and ends up being the blind leading the blind and me falling behind during busy times because im trying to help him, take over drinks and take orders and... Checked for other questions on this but only saw someone asking about Greggs. I've been keeping my eye out for options relating to: Sausage rolls Scotch eggs Pork pies Proper bacon Roast dinners Full English/Scottish breakfasts Only had a pretty bad sausage roll and seen a few better looking ones at Granville Market but not the other stuff. Anyone know of others? Edit: Very helpful thanks all Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
