I have an 8 year old (I swear he is going on 18). Sometimes when you tell him off, you have shout over him to shut him up. Fortnightly market shop, £56 - produce and meat, including £2 parking and £1.20 for the barms (paid in cash). The greengrocer apologised for the price of tomatoes - £3.78 for 6! Also wanted 60p for red peppers, but turned them down. Meat includes 6 large pork belly rashers, two discounted packs of dry cured bacon, and beef burgers (had already committed to these, hence had to buy tomatoes). Then stopped at Farmfood, £20 - stocked up the small three-drawer freezer. This is roughly 2/5 of the fortnighly food shop (there's a supermarket delivery every other couple of weeks, a milk delivery, and occasional Lidl runs), so scales up to about £140 a fortnight, or £300 a month.

However I've been going to farm foods lately and found a few items I buy often that are massively more expensive in Tesco. Mrs Crimbles Big Chocolate Macarons Farmfoods £1.29 Tesco £1.80 +40% HP Sauce Farmfoods £1.89 Tesco £3.40. +80% Right now It's £2.50 with club card but that's still +32% Chicago Town 2 Cheese and Tomato Subs Farmfoods £1 Tesco £1.75 +75% Unfortunately Farmfoods doesn't have everything we need but these differences are absolute massive.
