Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Ebuyer Latest Community Discussions About EbuyerPC for video games + video editing - £10004d ago* New build or upgrade? New Build * Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links) Reusing monitor, keyboard, mouse, so only need new PC * PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games) I will be using it for gaming, but also for studying and data storing, but I will most likely use external drives for that. I want to finally be able to play AAA games with no horrible issues and play FPS games smoothly without issues from my computer's end. I am coming from an MSI laptop where the second driver just died and sounds like a jet engine (measured at 100dB on average). Will be used for video editing, nothing super crazy, pretty basic to intermediate level editing. Also... Gaming laptop to PC - £1500 Budget4d ago* New build or upgrade? I cannot find an old RFQ for a GSA MAS task order in eBuy and am not sure where else to look. Would the GSA VSC share you my the RFQ or would I need to email the agency? Thanks all Ebuyer - Am I The Only One Who Didn't Know?43d agoI've been building my own PCs since the 90s, and a lot of my components were sourced from Ebuyer each time. Good ol' reliable Ebuyer. Always there when you needed them. Tonight, we had a power cut. Everything has started back up - NAS on my newer UPS, satellite TV box, fridges, freezers, TV, everything. Except my ******* PC, which is on an older and smaller NAS. After checking everything out, the next logical step is to swap out the PSU, so let's order one. I went to Ebuyer and wondered what was happening. First of all, I couldn't log in - I'm apparently a 'new user'. I assumed it was just a temporary website glitch, but it persisted. So I Googled. Added to the CHOICE $10+ free delivery with some other junk I needed. Yeah so it comes with the useless Eurotrash Bimmer/Benz/VW plugs on the other end but they're clipped and straight into the garbage. AliExpress has deals on some basic install stuff if you're not in hurry and willing to wait 2-3 weeks. Nintendo Switch 2 live: Where to buy as UK stock sells out fast134d agoIt’s been almost three weeks since the Nintendo Switch 2 launched, and just when it seemed like stock was finally stabilising, most retailers sold out again over the weekend. After a flurry of drops last week from Argos, Currys, Game and Smyths Toys, things have quietened down, though the My Nintendo Store restocked on Monday and still has consoles available now. That said, you can still get your hands on the console if you know where to look. The bundle is coming in and out of stock at Amazon, EE is still offering the console with *Mario Kart World* to existing customers, and ShopTo is accepting back orders for mid-July. Fellow independent games retailer Ebuyer also has... Please, help me choose a blackberry to buy150d agoHello, I've been looking to substitute my smarthphone with a dumbphone, and all i need it to is: take notes (very important for me because i go to the gym and i like to register all my sets, also the durability of it is also important as im always putting it on the ground and stuff when working out),music and calls. I live in spain and 2g is still supported for now, so right now thats not a concern. Anyways, I've been cheking different bb models and reviews but its being hard to choose, so if you can help me decide this are the options I'm considering (im going for a \~50 euros budget btw): Blackberry Q10: I love everything about this one: the straight keyboard, being able t... Help - New PC after 13 Years165d agoI am finally making the upgrade and getting a new computer. My pc lasted this long as after 5ish years, I hung up my gaming gloves to focus on work and family and so it was only used for basic family tasks which it was fine to handle. I am soon going to be WFH and so need the new pc to be a workstation. Nothing super intense, just need it to run smooth and fast when using multiple programs including large spreadsheets. I'm also hoping to get back into gaming and introduce my children to gaming (here's hoping they like it) so also want it to be able to handle this. I would mainly play single player games so already eyeing up RDR, Cyberpunk, reliving Witcher 3 as well as GTA 6 in ... Double checking parts before I purchase178d agoHi folks, it's been about 10 years since I've built a PC and I've never built a SFF before, so I want to make sure I understand what I'm getting myself into before I take the plunge and purchase parts. I'm planning to use primarily for gaming, but also for light web dev/light AI work at times as well. Hoping for something that doesn't throttle, doesn't make too much noise and can capably play current games but not necessarily at max settings. 5070ti seems to be best bang for buck at the moment, and hopefully keeps thermals under control. No RGB is a plus! Is there anything I might need to think about with the parts list below? Anything I might have to do ... Building my first PC - Appreciate help and advice180d agoI will be building a PC with the aim of doing a balance between gaming and creative work. Gaming just to run AAA games at 1440p and 60FPS. Creative work will most likely see me using tools like Davinci resolve, Blender and other programs that can be intensive. My budget is £1800/$2400. This is the build I currently have planned. Let me know your thoughts, open to all feedback. Any questions that need me to further clarify my requirements is welcomed. Thank you for taking your time to read this. Build Advice - 1440p gaming196d agoHi, I'm building a pc (reusing a couple of components) to be able to play the newer games e.g. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 at 1440p and a decent framerate. I could use my existing 3060Ti for now, as I think my CPU and RAM are the bottleneck. I have the Samsung Odyssey G7 monitor. Any comments on this build and whether to upgrade from 3060ti to 5080?
