My current specs were an i5 7500, 16GB 3200MHz DDR4 RAM, a 500GB SSD, a 1TB HDD, and a really old Nvidia 700 series GPU. I think it was a 700 series. I also had a 550W PSU. I had a Currys store closing clearance sale, so I got a RTX 4060 for a bargain. I replaced the GPU and everything worked fine. I could game without any issues. I played FIFA 19, 23, and completed games like Spider-Man, Ghost of Tsushima, Still Wakes the Deep, Guardians of the Galaxy, GTA 5, and RDR without any issues. As the title suggests, I came across a GIGABYTE AORUS 16X on clearance in a currys store for £1166 (specs mentioned in picture). It looked like a steal so I went to purchase it and was basically told that it’s out of stock and only the display model is available. Has anyone tried trade-in an iPhone for a Pixel at a Currys store? Been told that the promotional bonus is only for androids and not iPhones which is a bit bizarre. Hi there, my parents in law mourn their old snail speed laptop. What's the best place to get last years half decent quality office PC? It should run a browser and standard, non subscription based MS Office software. The only specs I recommended them is Win11 capable, 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD. No need for a dedicated GPU or much more than last years i5 / ryzen 5. They just send me a screenshot from a curries store, 800€ seems a oddly expensive for an AIO PC with said specs. Maybe it is just me being used to other prices in mainland EU. So any place you have good experiences with?
