I am so mad right now. I know this company ***** so this isn't anything new but like why!!!!!??? It's the holidays and it's busy as he'll. This project lowkey tested my patience. It was my first time working with a 2.50mm hook. This lil guy is a birthday gift for my mom. I bought the kit at tj maxx…the brand reads “folia”. I messed up the neck so had to make them a little scarf. Kinda did my own thing for the wings. Also opted for wire legs instead of crocheting them as the pattern reads. I put a small piece of wire in the neck for structure as well. I will say that I found the pattern a tad bit confusing and I would say I’m a moderately experienced. She’s cute nonetheless.

Regular tjmaxx, in the checkout line! My wife and I kept going to different home goods/ross searching the toy section where they keep the books and when we couldn't find it we would just leave. Finally we went to a regular TJ Maxx and had some other stuff we were purchasing. I was bummed that we didn't find it and then, there it was in the line to check out, in the books that they have at the front by the cash registers!! Hope this helps anyone wanting it. Each page is blank on the back which is great if you use colors that bleed through or, what I want to do, make cards! :) 🎄

I really debated getting this one at the thrift store because it looked like a slog! I caved because it’s holiday cats!!! For the holidays! And fits the monthly theme with all the Christmas/winter garb. Haven’t done Professor Puzzle before and the quality was fine for a budget puzzle ($2.99 for me, original tag said $7.99 at TJ Maxx), no false fits and the border came together easily. Missing one piece but whatever. The whole puzzle was way more of a slog than a 500 piece puzzle had any right to be. All the cats repeat in this image and it was very had to distinguish between the black or orange cats. Super glad to be done with this.

I have a friend that I will often let go through the samples I’ve decided I don’t like enough to finish. She’s landed on scents that are on the lighter, fresher, and cleaner side.
