Hi everyone, I’m in a bit of a spot. I got my son an ATK Blazing Sky U2 Plus for Christmas, but the shell was damaged while he was carrying it to school. I have already emailed ATK support and they said that warranty does not cover and that they do not sell replacement parts for a cheaper cost The Issue: • The shell appears cracked/stressed. • The left click button is sitting noticeably higher than the right one. • It now makes a squeaking sound when pressed. • It requires much more force to click down than it used to. Hello. New to this community. Love what the people on this subreddit are doing. I make DIY plans. Here is a recent creation. I would like your critique. The idea behind the design. I noticed a lot of plans make the stairs part difficult. Sometimes leaving the safety railing off completely. What if the person using it gets confused at night. Total lumber cost is roughly $300. I have been unemployed for 3 years. Pic on the left is where I started, pic on the right is current status. I ripped out the old wood backing with the TV cutout. It was basically paper-thin plywood. There are little grooves where it used to be that a new piece of wood would slide into, but I’ve been unable to find an exact replacement. I found this tempered hardboard at Home Depot (1/8”) and even that’s too thick, but I should be able to make it work. It is smooth on one side, textured (almost feels like fabric) on the other. My daughter is crazy for plants and needs pots. She is a teen so the look is everything. We went to Target, goodwill and big lots and were disappointed. Can you recommend stores that have a big selection besides Home Depot. We are going shopping this weekend and also stopping at Foxglove plant bar. finally finished my mostly traditional Finnish sauna. my parents bought a barrel sauna a year or so ago and my wife took a shine to it this year so I decided to build her one for a Christmas present. Temps dropped in January & realized why my living room was always so cold. The top of the window has a big gap between window frame & wood beam (that was intended for window rod installation but I don’t use it). Turns out these old shutoff valves for my washing machine have gone bad, the inside has rusted and fallen apart to where they don’t work anymore. None of the stores around me carry this specific valve with the short 1/2” section though. I’ve tried Home Depot, Lowe’s, Ace, even the small local hardware store. I can only find them with 2” long threads. It would technically work, but I’d like to try and find a matching replacement. Are these just obsolete or a speciality item?
