STARBUCKS COFFEE Locations

I’m from rural MB and am working remote from my laptop in the city this Monday. Looking for recommendations on places with wifi where I can drink coffee throughout the day, eat lunch, and sit to work for 6 ish hours. Would love to go to a bookstore with a coffee shop but am not certain if I’d be allowed to bring in a briefcase with my computer. Not certain if Starbucks has free wifi either. Ideally, somewhere close to polo park. Thanks in advance!

I was having a decent back and forth with this guy on the apps. He asked to meet, I said sure. Then we kept chatting but no mention of the meeting until I asked. He said he doesn’t drink coffee and is sober. I suggested a museum and he nicely asked if we could do something closer (it’s 40 minutes from him but only 20 from me). Once again Starbucks has ruined their drink offerings. I found out that a couple weeks ago Starbucks has changed their chocolate cold foam recipe and will no longer be shipping malt powder. Starbucks has drastically cut back on their syrup offerings and I understand this will be easier on the baristas and help with wait times. BUT with limited syrup offerings I was happy to discover I really liked the chocolate cold foam. I really want this to be a thing! Think like a cafe, but instead of coffee, it specialises in light & refreshing drinks. They have still and sparkling water on tap, and also coconut water. They can make drinks with all sort of flavours (maybe from syrups?) with garnish and ice. You can choose off of the menu or request your own concoction. Specifically the caramel macchiato one. My parents switched over from an old flavor a few months ago and I began having headaches ever since. Thought it was just the coffee mixing with my allergy meds, but my head still hurt when I drank only coffee . Figured out that it just hurt every time I drank coffee and never did when I didn’t drink coffee. I don’t know if any others stores are having issues but lately everyday we either receive product that is supposed to be delivered to another store, don’t get half of our order, or things like this happen where it was labeled as brown sugar… Also I know the sticker is super covered but I don’t want store numbers showing even though this one wasn’t even supposed to be delivered to my store haha.

It’s my birthday today and I want to get something fun and different for my free birthday drink! I like to get the most for my money with the free birthday drinks each year! This is what I like: blended drinks like frappuccinos or iced coffees, I prefer a sweet taste and flavor, not over the top sweet but not sugarless either. I don’t really care for white chocolate (I like regular chocolate but not huge on mocha for coffee, more for hot cocoa) or matcha.
