It’s been an exhausting year. A year ago, I quit my high paying, full benefits job because I keep miscarrying from all the stress. When I got pregnant again, I took a part time position at Starbucks for the health insurance and landed a few 1099 gig for extra funds. I’m looking for a barista job for the first time and wondering if anyone here has a favorite place with 1) legitimately good coffee 2) good energy-positive vibes environment 3) good management/owner who cares 4) not Starbucks or big names. Preferably places in the Peninsula; South Bay is a close second. TIA!

If it isn’t hard enough interviewing in this climate when CEOs start writing this it pisses me off. First of all you founders complain when people don’t care about your lousy *** company. There were plenty of results but I noticed there were no Starbucks in the results, and I was sure there must be some locations around. Searching specifically for Starbucks produced a number of locations, all in close proximity to my location.
