I’ve always used Folgers and done about 1 scoop per 6 ounces like it says. The Starbucks grounds I bought I noticed it says 2 tablespoons, not just 1 like Folgers. Should I really follow those instructions or will that make it very strong? I just use a regular drip coffee pot. Why does it recommend double the amount of grounds over Folgers?

It’s refreshing and cool to see someone speak up for labor. Hopefully when he becomes mayor he’ll be able to swing his **** around and use the powers of the office to benefit workers (idk what mayors do). You should be boycotting Starbucks anyway — most coffee shops have their own take on the Pumpkin Spice stuff and it’s probably 10x better. I just thought this was nice to see.

Help me do some coffee math. When I make a latte at home in a normal sized coffee cup, it is only 3/4 full, approx 10-11 oz with foam. My go to is a Grande Latte at Starbucks is 16 oz. If I understand right it’s 2 oz espresso and then 14 oz steamed milk. How do I replicate this at home? Using Vertuo Plus and double espresso pods, so 2.7oz espresso. Also using aeroccino, I fill to the max line for hot milk, using extra creamy almond milk. Which is 4-5 oz. Coming out to about 10 oz in the cup. The obvious option for a larger drink is to do 2 batches of steamed/frothed milk. But the drink already doesn’t taste all that strong to me so this seems like it would be even weaker coffee tast...
