Usually when I ask questions about striking, I get responses about scabs and picket lines and that just doesn't mean anything to me. I know some of the history but my question is more about the modern context. Starbucks might be a good example. It's not hard to find new people who can serve coffee. So if employees are striking, why don't they just get fired and SB finds new employees? Or, if the employees are truly undervalued, why not just start a new coffee shop and run it as they please? I was watching a review and they mentioned there is a starbucks on site. Is Starbucks coffee the only coffee they have? I can't drink Starbucks, it makes me feel sick. I am curious if I can get other coffee at breakfast or by room service? Live Aqua has been on my radar.

I've been drinking coffee every morning for years, usually with a Keurig machine. Nespresso intrigued me because of the recyclable pods and the ability to make espresso lattes. So, I purchased a Nespresso Vertuo Next yesterday while they were on sale. All of the pods I bought are the "Mug" size and I did not realize until I was home and made my first coffee that this is only 230ml. That is the equivalent of a "Short" from Starbucks, which is hardly anything at all. Is there a reason why this is the typical size for their pods? Starbucks used to have a strong flavor. Now a cup of their regular coffee, dark roast is weak as water. I’m so disappointed.

Unless I'm missing something the new guidelines aren't fully clear on what is or isn't allowed around some of these: 1. Are only prepackaged coffees allowed (Eg cans of cold coffee) or would Nespresso or other coffee pod brands be acceptable? What about a takeaway coffee from Starbucks? 2. Same with teas. I think at most Deloitte offices they have K cup machines if you want to have a cup of coffee. Do you like coffee from K cups better than the taste of a fresh pot of coffee? Obviously K cups are more practical and convenient. I think fresh brewed coffee tasted better. However it would be nice if they had espresso machines or a Starbucks barista employee on each floor instead.

Sooo, I have the Puerto Rico Nespresso pods, which I just tried this weekend and it is absolutely wonderful. Until recently I’ve just been purchasing the Starbucks pods until I realized buying those are more expensive than the Nespresso pods. Anyway, normally when I have my coffee it’s one of the larger Nespresso pods so it’s just that and creamer. How do I make my espresso Puerto Rico coffee into a full size cup without drenching it in creamer? Do you guys double brew? Please share your secrets. 🙏🏽

Not a parent yet but definitely want to one day. Anyway, I went on a Starbucks date with my friend who brought her baby. I ordered the protein coffee and she got a vanilla frap We were just catching up on everything and she started breastfeeding. HOWEVER, soon after she stopped she then immediately proceeded to give her 11 month old her vanilla frap. The baby had atleast 1/3.
