Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Starbucks Coffee Latest Community Discussions About Starbucks CoffeeRomance Advice1h agoHi All. I'm particularly interested in advice from women who have been divorced and back out in the dating world. Though I appreciate any perspectives as long as they are kind and well meaning. Thanks! A few months back, I met a woman my age (or older) in a Starbucks. Her beauty blew me away and changed the definition of word. It was like a beacon of light shone upon her and a voice whispered, "There she is." I've never been so struck before. (And, no this isn't lust, I have felt that in my long life and know the difference.) I built up some courage and started a conversation with her. The conversation flowed naturally and was very easy. We ran into each other a ... Lefts talk Coffee1h agoGood morning brethren and sistren: I hope your day is going well. Day off. Having coffee. I prefer to purchase whole bean. And grind fresh before French pressing. I grew up to the old hot water poor in the “sock on a hanger”. Any Puertorican from the county side knows what I’m talking about. I went from “milk and a LOT of sugar”. To black with honey, as the years have gone by. So… What are your choices on coffee? Do you make your own? Whole bean? Pre ground? Which brand? Do you prefer a specific coffee shop? Starbucks? How do you take it? Please do share. Have a great rest of your day. ☕️ Lefts talk Coffee1h agoGood morning brethren and sistren: I hope your day is going well. Day off. Having coffee. I prefer to purchase whole bean. It's one of my favorite cups to use. Anyone use old crappy cups for fancy pour overs? I was only able to get 2 tickets and my husband is wonderful enough to drive us in and wait while we’re at the show because I’m terrified of driving through Manhattan. I was planning to reserve a parking spot at a garage a few blocks away so he won’t be able to wait in the car. I’m not familiar with the area. I’m looking for recommendations for places he can hang out and wait for us while we’re at the show. A good coffee place he can chill and read? A bar or restaurant where it won’t be a big deal if he’s there for a while? Ideally not a Starbucks but I’ll take wh... Coffee just got tariff relief in the US, and prices might finally cool off8h agoThere should be some relief for all of us coffee lovers now that coffee has been exempted from the reciprocal tariff list. As of November 14, a White House announcement excluded several agricultural products from the reciprocal tariff regime, specifically those not produced in the US. Coffee made the cut, obviously, since the US still imports more than 99% of what it consumes. The price of ground roast coffee in the US had gone up sharply this year. It hit about $9.14 in September, roughly a 40 percent jump over the previous year. Wholesalers initially absorbed the shock, but eventually passed it through. Retail prices averaged about $3.5 nationwide by August 2025. [Ground Roast Coffee Pri... Trip report 19d spring8h agoOk, so it's it's been six month since I came back from Japan... Non Starbucks coffee11h agoMy boyfriend and I will be staying at the kalahari in January, it’s my first time I’m pretty excited! On their website, the ‘Java Munjaro’ shop looks like it’s a Starbucks, which I am not a fan of. Are there any non-Starbucks/chain coffee shops in / near Kalahari? *preferably something locally owned!* Any Tips for Shift Supervisor Interview??12h agoI haven't worked at Starbucks since 2020. I'm doing an initial video interview. Can anyone give me a heads up on how that process was for them or, if you run interviews, how you run them? Also, have you interviewed anyone who worked for the company before, and what were the typical mistakes they made interviewing? I was always solid with things such as cash handling and inventory accuracy as well as keeping the store clean and stocked. And making a quality beverage or food item (perfectly steamed milk, calibrated shots, fresh coffee, proper storage and heating of food) every time was something I hammered. And I'm wondering what about the company has changed in 5 years. * ... Any Tips for Shift Supervisor Interview??12h agoI haven't worked at Starbucks since 2020. I'm doing an initial video interview. I went to this Starbucks and saw this worker I had never seen before. His bubbly energy had me thinking about him for days till I went back in to see him again. I have a very unique name and the first time I told him my name he complemented it and said it was a beautiful name. The next time I saw him he remembered my name and the conversation we had the time before. Then for the first time I went into the actual cafe, he took my order and then he remembered me again. The next time I went in he and his coworker noticed me and said my name excitedly. That same visit he kept sneaking glances at me and when he ... A rich cappuccino brewed using Indian Bean coffee, presented in classic Starbucks mugs14h agoMy morning coffee ritual! A rich cappuccino brewed using Indian Bean coffee, presented in classic Starbucks mugs14h agoMy morning Coffee ritual! Do I stay or go to Philz…15h agoI’ve been working for Starbucks for two years now and it’s been taking such a tumble lately, not just as a whole business but in my own store. I’ve been trying to ride it out but there’s a Philz coffee opening up near me. I applied for sh*ts and giggles and now they want me to interview tomorrow. I feel like I have Stockholm syndrome for Starbucks and I’m scared to go into a different coffee demon (philz). Has anyone worked at Philz or know someone that does? Is it better or worse? Is it time to jump ship? Who moved my cheese?16h agoSo last week my man and I were at a playground with our toddler. A couple was there with their kids and approached us. We started chatting the my man with the husband and the wife and I. Idk all my man talked about with the guy but the wife and I were chatting about our kids. Just normal mom conversation. My man got his number nothing weird and the next day texted him asking to meet up for coffee on a Tuesday. So we go, only to sit in Starbucks for an hour discussing financial freedom. Now I thought this was just a genuine casual meet up since we’re new to the state. Nope. Now I keep thinking how we were targeted at the park & truthfully feel violated 🤣 they asked us three quest... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
