STARBUCKS COFFEE Locations

I’ve been using the vertuo pods and machine for about 6 months, I’ve already descaled and I run a hot rinse cycle 1x a week to keep the vertuo machine in good condition. Is it normal for the coffee not to “hit” the same after a while? I use filtered spring water from the grocery store (not distilled). I bought this machine to kick my habit of buying Starbucks out everyday. I should I get an actual espresso machine myself..? Thanks

Hey! I have a lead barista interview interview tomorrow and a bit curious what its like and if theres any advice I should heed to? I have worked in the coffee industry for years (Starbucks for 4 1/2 years and currently a barista at Nordstrom). I had been interested in working at BN since I used to go there once a week in HS with my study group. Any advice or experiences working at BN?

I think one of the girls at my Starbucks exclusively pulls blonde shots. Is the bar set up for that? I am assuming from the same machine they can pull regular, blonde, and decaf? The reason is that I stop by daily for a shaken espresso w/ milk, no classic, lt 1/4" whole milk with room (the last bit is b/c they always fill to the top and make a latte but since this addition that only happens like 2/5 times). For the last two weeks when a newer employee makes my drink it taste citrusy, acidic (in a normal coffee way), brighter. I dislike my coffee tasting acidic and citrusy. Besides the regular fast foods, Timmies and Starbucks, does anyone know of any coffee shops that stay open into the evening? Am I the only one that enjoys a coffee shop in the evening? I know Spiral Cafe stays open until 5 and sometimes later, but I'm looking for something in Langford, Colwwod area.

I'm trying to teach myself how to draw again after many years. Got my books and pencils and am ready to hit the ground running however I legit don't own a desk/if I do it at home I'll just end up doomscrolling on my phone until bed. I'm looking for specific recommendations for a coffee shop, cafe, etc that has a good environment for this type of thing. There's one near me but they have their music on 11 for some reason and it's just impossible to concentrate. I did try a library but ironically it's on the opposite of the spectrum to me.. It's too quiet LOL. I'd prefer somewhere not Starbucks though I'm willing to try anywhere at this point....

especially starbucks with only one coffee sometimes grand size or even venti they still put in bags with a low tray, coffee goes unbalanced and bouncing in the bag when i was not even put inside my bag yet, just asking for spill, so annoying.

I purchased my Tern ebike from a local bike store that mostly sells non-ebikes. My experience with them has been decent, but, as a part of the buying experience, I noticed that they did not seem all that knowledgable about ebikes in general. I live near the Congress Scooters and cannot fathom how they are still open, I pass nearly every day and rarely see a single car in their drive ever. Meanwhile It feels like Jet Coffee by Grand 16, every CC's location, etc are always packed. Sometimes Jet has a line backed up a dozen cars deep. I’m thinking the answer may vary depending your geographic location and how long you leave it unattended. I live in Northern California about 15 miles from Oakland and 32 from San Francisco. My OEM+ M3 is parked in the garage everyday. I rarely drive it, but when I do, I don’t leave it for long. I put this wheel lock on just to get coffee at Starbucks with it parked in my line of sight. Thieves are fast around here. Nothing beats a good insurance policy but ya still gotta try to keep it safe. What are some of things you do?
