Hello, I just applied at starbucks through online (RustanCoffee), also been waiting for a position near my place, and I got a job so I submitted my resume online. My question is if the process on their site is long and is there really progress and I have to wait? Or should I submit my resume to the hiring area on their site online? Thank you so much!

I'm a 42yo male who recently got out of a 14 year relationship that was emotionally taxing/draining and borderline abusive. Our new rental came with a wonderful garden, and it looks like the previous tenant had already started a compost pile. I’m hoping to add to it and was wondering where people usually find used coffee grounds. I checked a few Starbucks locations but didn’t see any set out. Is this something you typically need to ask the baristas for, or are there other places (local cafés, bakeries, coffee stands.) ...I did get one small cup of grounds (16oz) from one stand, that are better for this? Any tips are appreciated.... I’m pretty new to composting and just trying to build on what’s already here!

I spent most of my free time in coffee shops. Who makes the best buttery and flakey croissants in San Diego? I've never been much of a croissant fan until I had the ones at Peet's Coffee, which I know they don't make. But they're flakey and butter and good. The ones are Starbucks are not very good. I tried going to Champagne's but they just add way too much sugar to theirs, Better Buzz also adds too much sugar, and I went to a local bakery called Edelweiss, and their croissants were just thick and doughy like white bread. So, I reason, there's got to be something as good as the ones Peet's has or better around here.

The tone deaf moan that January has been a long month from the person that has booked 2 holidays, had 2 hotel stays, ordered over £400 of takeaways, ordered nursery furniture for the living room - cow chair that looks like a hipo. Buying our first coffee machine and stuck between convenience vs drink quality. Shortlist: • Ninja Prestige 2-in-1 (filter + pod) • Ninja Luxe Café Premier / Pro My wife wants fast, low-mess weekday coffee. I care more about latte quality, but realistically I’ll only be making them properly on days off. What's the deal with people setting up full size computer monitors into starbucks? I was at the Snoqualmie ridge, WA location recently and there's a guy who comes in most days and sets up a full workstation with keyboard , extension cords etc. It's kind of annoying as it takes up a bunch of space and it's a coffee shop not a co working space. Is this actually allowed?

Two tonnes of woodchip ordered from topsoil. Bracers put in, cardboard down as weed membrane, then more cardboard in the boxes, with some starbucks coffee grounds. 4th photo is after one tonne of woodchips, 5th photo is it completed. i’m so tired of the lack in consistency between licensed stores and corporate stores on multiple fronts, but dress code is driving me absolutely insane lately. i work at a safeway kiosk and was chewed out by my store manager today for wearing a hairnet around my bun instead of a hat. neither our county’s food safety nor starbucks dress code require a hat or head covering for beverage/pre-packaged food servers at all! we’re adhering to what the licensed stores’ dress code was pre-june-dress-code-overhaul, but then everyone proceeds to cherry pick what starbucks dress-code standards they want us to follow (facial piercings, black shirts only, no black coffee master aprons). is anyone...

i just want to share my traumatic experience last night sa ka-meet up ko galing bumble. need ko lang mag vent here para mabawasan yung bigat sa chest ko. i met a guy from bumble and red flag na agad kasi paiba-iba sya ng name and username. he only chats me kapag namimilit sya ng meetup, and for some reason pinagbigyan ko kagabi. sinundo nya ako, naka-car sya, then dinala nya ako sa nlex kasi gusto raw nya mag starbucks. i told him i don’t really drink coffee, pero sabi nya okay lang daw, sa iba nalang kami pupunta. ayoko naman syang mapagod since ang layo rin ng drive nya, so i insisted na starbucks na lang since may non-coffee naman. nung nasa car kami, very straight forward person tala...
