Workplace retaliation? I need some advice on what to do going forward and I have to start with the beginning of my employment with... Starbucks. hi friends im trying to impress my family for thanksgiving by making cold brew espresso martinis - we always get them while we’re out. im a complete novice at this and dont drink coffee outside of this drink so im clueless lol. would this be sufficient to purchase and use with the vanilla vodka + coffee liqueur i bought? i do also have a nespresso machine if brewing fresh espresso and chilling it would be better.

I had time to kill on the Canongate last week and got a coffee in what used to be the Starbucks there. Is Starbucks a good place to work? Based on what I’m seeing on google search, Starbucks In my area can pay between 14-19 an hour? I already work elsewhere 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday). Would Starbucks be willing to hire me if I could be available Wednesday, Fridays and Saturdays? Or do I need more flexibility? Sorry if this question has been asked before, I couldn’t find the stickied questions. What do you guys like about working at Starbucks if anything? I do have experience in fast/food and customer service but I’ve not had coffee shop experience. Would that make it hard for them to be willing to hire me? Thanks so much in advance for any insight!

Hi, I need to work near Ontario Airport for the day so I'd like to find a coffee shop that has free wifi and working outlets (so many Starbucks have removed them all). Hi everyone, I was a longtime store manager at Starbucks and was recently laid off. I've never worked anywhere besides Starbucks and I'm at a loss on where to go.  I was considering departing food service in the past but I never knew where to start. So I notice that when I get like a Starbucks coffee it's often ***scalding*** hot, but when I make my own coffee at home it doesn't feel nearly as intense as far as temperature goes. And I feel like my microwave is fairly strong, yet sipping my homemade coffees doesn't feel nearly as hot as the in-house coffee I can get at a physical Starbucks location I notice something similar with Gatorade on the opposite end of the temperature scale (cold). I'll have a Gatorade in the fridge and a random plastic water bottle in the fridge, despite them being in the same exact environment - right next to each other - when I drink from the Gatorade bottle it SEEMS colder than drinking ...

Some cold coffees that I experimented with got me agitated. Cold Stone Creamery's cold coffee and cold drinks seem to be fine. May be a good spot to visit or order from for someone not comfortable with Starbucks.

I’ve been wondering about working at Starbucks (I’ve been really interested in getting a part time job as a barista, the coffee tea world is interesting to me). The issue is that I’m in school, and have classes the entire weekday, and I’m only available Saturday and Sunday. This will be the case for the next year as well. I can do open, midday and close shifts, but only Saturday and Sunday.
