So, since around four years I quit my office job to take care of my baby and got a less paying one, but way less demanding as well, which allows me to be really close to my kid and I love that part. Hi everyone! I really love both coffee and tea, and I’m fairly interested in learning about and developing my skills in both areas. I’m also interested in starting a small coffee shop/cafe at some point later in life, and I’d like to have a machine that’s comparable to what actual coffee shops, such as Starbucks, etc. use. This is something that I’d save for over time, so money wise, any budget is ok! I’m really interested in something high quality that will last me a long time, and that I can eventually use to create restaurant quality espresso beverages! It would be a huge bonus if it can be used for tea-spresso as well! Thank you so much!

I’ve got all the heavy hitter brew methods (French Press, V60, Moka Pot, Aeropress and Moccamaster) and I’ve settled into a groove of buying two types of coffees: 1. Specialty (B&W, George Howell, two local roasters and a Fellow Drop once a month) that I grind with an Ode 2 brew with third wave through a V60 and enjoy on slower mornings and weekends 2. Coffee from Costco (whatever isn’t Kirkland or Starbucks brand) brewed with tap water through the Moccamaster on days I go into the office or get up early. That didn't take long! The rescinding of the tariff on coffee was announced several days ago, and I happened to notice, this evening that the price of my favorite coffee had dropped 10% at Walmart. Of course, the tariff would not have HAD to be rescinded . . . had it not been placed on a crop not grown in the US to begin with! The price of this coffee is, now, ALMOST as low as it was on Inauguration Day! Starbucks French Roast Whole Bean coffee . . . chef's kiss!
