I started drinking coffee in high school and really liked it, but it got too expensive, and I couldn’t make it in my dorm in college, so I switched to hot tea. That worked for a while, but now both coffee and tea upset my stomach horribly no matter how little or how spaced out I drink them. I recently moved to Utah and kind of fell into the soda culture here, but it just makes me feel gross, and I don’t like all the extra sugar and calories. I’ve thought about trying energy drinks, but the ingredients and side effects make me nervous because of my health anxiety. so as the title says, I have an interview at my local starbucks on saturday, and i (16f) have never had an interview before. i've had a job before, but they didn't interview me, and it was a local bar and grill as a dishwasher, not a large chain coffee shop as a barista. obviously the manager is aware of this and i put it on my application (i applied through indeed if that's any help). Starbucks has their own loyalty points and app. As an independent coffee shops customer or owner would you use an app that gives customers points and rewards for drinks they buy at any independent coffee shops? You could use the same digital punchcard anywhere to earn points for each drink bought, then redeem at any independent coffee shop that participates.

A few weeks ago when I was at Target, the Starbucks pumpkin spice Vertuo pods were marked down to half price. They were originally $12-something, so I thought $6-something was pretty good for 8 pods. Ended up with 450gr of ground coffee because of a too good to go bag, but I seriously dislike coffee. Even the fruity Starbucks drinks with maybe 10% coffee and 90% syrup/dairy/whatever are too much coffee for me.
