Hey! I’m 25, based and working in Makati. I work in the BPO industry, so my body clock’s kinda flipped. Outside work, you’ll probably catch me playing basketball, going on long walks, or chilling at a coffee shop (I have a customized Starbucks drink that always costs extra 😅). I’m also into sneakers, cooking, and F1. Honestly, I’m just looking for my go-to person someone I can vibe with on coffee runs, random errands, or just be my safe space. What I’m looking for? I personally prefer using a single-shot basket but pulling a double-shot extraction (this is just my preference). But is it actually possible or recommended to calibrate the machine using a single-shot basket, or does calibration have to be done with the double-shot basket? If possible, how should I do it? 2. When I use the single-shot basket and set the grinder to 2–3, I get very little extraction, even though the pressure gauge is in the right range. I just think it’s interesting how she boycotted Starbucks for a while and now is an ambassador lol. I have raging social anxiety but like my drink customized. Where I live there’s only 3 Starbucks nearby and only 1 allows online ordering linked to credit/debit card, the other 2 only allow gift card use but the minimum reload is $25 which is a little much at the moment. Long story short I have some cash and want to order my coffee in person the next couple times but whenever I try and order my drink and read it in the order of customizations through the app I always get cut off and asked 100 questions which im sure is annoying for the barista as well. I was curious if anyone could write me a “script” on how to order this is the most efficient way for the barista. Thankyou!!

I’ve been looking everywhere for this answer. It’s not in any of the resources nor do my leads really know. Things like the tan visor are so cute the Starbucks coffee company hat with a different logo. It’s just refreshing. Are we able to order those? I used to work for corporate but quit two years ago, but I have a licensed store account, which makes me think that we’re allowed to.

with all the effort they've put into the mccafe menu, especially with the seasonal drinks, how have they not realized that offering oat milk, almond milk, etc. would likely bring in a ton of business? i love their iced coffees and lattes and would have them a lot more often if i didn't have to pop a lactaid each time 😭 the switch from starbucks to mcdonalds would be great for my bank account but i need my almond milk 😞

Does anyone have any recommendations for cafes in penrith where you study or read or stay for a generally good amount of time >1hr? It would be good to have a powerpoint for laptop and comfy seats. I only had 2 cups, so not much to go on, but overall- not bad. It's definitely more mild than regular coffee. I've had cocoa powder from trader Joe's for decades that I hardly use and is too rich to use by itself. I added it to the coffee to make mocha- my favorite. Maybe I'll add a bit of peppermint somehow as that's really my ideal. I think I'd like it best ice blended like a frapp with chocochips. My mom has good coffee for the machine- mcdonalds and Colombian coffee. The Colombian coffee is rich and delicious but the buzz is too strong and leaves me restless. Plus cleanup is annoying. I don't like coffee that much and just a few months ago started drinking starbucks because I got tired of Juan Valdez's chai, I always drink green tea frappuccinos but it's a hit or miss, sometimes they taste good, sometimes they taste like nothing, I have even asked for an extra scoop of matcha and they still taste like nothing, it's there something I could say so they taste better or are they just tasteless everywhere? (I'm not inthe US) They are not cheap here, and paying that much for something that just tastes like ice is kinda pointless.

I’ve tried to embrace this no sleeve Starbucks world, but I just can’t. If saving the planet means a cup of coffee that burns my hand - does that even make sense? It’s especially frustrating when I use mobile order, I’m doing so because I want to grab my coffee and leave, not wait to get a barista’s attention and ask for one. Why can’t they just put them with the napkins so that those of us who want one can take one? I’m paying seven dollars for a cup of coffee, it would be nice if it didn’t cause me pain. Just me?
