STARBUCKS COFFEE Locations

My boyfriend and I will be staying at the kalahari in January, it’s my first time I’m pretty excited! On their website, the ‘Java Munjaro’ shop looks like it’s a Starbucks, which I am not a fan of. Are there any non-Starbucks coffee shops in / near Kalahari?

I haven't worked at Starbucks since 2020. I'm doing an initial video interview. Can anyone give me a heads up on how that process was for them or, if you run interviews, how you run them? Also, have you interviewed anyone who worked for the company before, and what were the typical mistakes they made interviewing? I was always solid with things such as cash handling and inventory accuracy as well as keeping the store clean and stocked. And making a quality beverage or food item (perfectly steamed milk, calibrated shots, fresh coffee, proper storage and heating of food) every time was something I hammered. Does this Starbucks worker actually like me or is his customer service really good? I went to this Starbucks and saw this worker I had never seen before. His bubbly energy had me thinking about him for days till I went back in to see him again. I have a very unique name and the first time I told him my name he complemented it and said it was a beautiful name. I’ve been working for Starbucks for two years now and it’s been taking such a tumble lately, not just as a whole business but in my own store. I’ve been trying to ride it out but there’s a Philz coffee opening up near me. I applied for sh*ts and giggles and now they want me to interview tomorrow. I feel like I have Stockholm syndrome for Starbucks and I’m scared to go into a different coffee demon (philz). Has anyone worked at Philz or know someone that does? Is it better or worse? Is it time to jump ship?

The Starbucks Christmas Blend was one of my favorite coffee flavors, I think mainly because of the spruce tips. I was disappointed to taste this year’s Christmas Blend - none of the spruce tip flavor came through. It’s possible that the bag of beans I bought is past its prime, but that’s hard to tell because there’s no roast date on the bag (which I think is normal for regular Starbucks roasts). Does anyone know if the 2025 Christmas Blend changed this year? I’ve also been on the hunt for other coffee beans roasted with spruce tips but have not been successful, so if you’ve got recommendations, please share!

Wondering your guys opinion on this drink…. Not only do you taste how super artificial it is but on serious note: how the heck do you describe this to the customers?!? So imagine you're meeting up with a couple of people for coffee at a place like Starbucks where you have to stand in line and pay at the cashier and your plan is to treat them. You don't know what they want yet though. You stand in line, and then if they're ahead of you in line, they order thinking they will each pay for it and then swipe their card. So, it kind of seems like the warm weather is gone for now. So sad. But luckily for me I have a gas fireplace in my apartment. I'm looking for 1 lucky lady who wants to share my fireplace with me. Returning to Vegas for my second visit and wondering if anyone knows of an inexpensive spot to get coffee in the morning when we crawl out of bed....stayed at the Horse Shoe last year and their coffee bar was $20 for 2 coffees - yikes!
