A Starbucks coffee costs about 8 USD for some reason. A Superbucks coffee however costs X supercredits... What do you suppose X is? I don't know which is funnier - that we're essentially raiding pocket change from the POI's, or that we're mercilessly looting the already devastated citizens of Super Earth during wartime.

i do have adhd for the record, but i swear every time i drink the canned starbucks nitro cold brew in the vanilla sweet cream flavor (that specific flavor) i suddenly hyperfocus and concentrate so much better. like more than with coffee, tea, etc. not as good as a stimulant but suprisingly well. anyone else drink this and feel much more mentally clear too?

I work for a 24/7 public agency. There is an informal paid coffee station that has somehow made it through the years with support from internal volunteers. With coffee and supplies costs skyrocketing—and fewer people carrying cash—the money paid in the cash box is less and less every month. I would like to explore a card payment system but everything seems so complex. This is a not-for profit, volunteer-run, self-service counter that needs funds to buy supplies, not darn Starbucks. Starbucks Workers United is the union. It's a subsidiary of the union, Workers United. It has been VERY DIFFICULT to get each store unionized due to union busting (managers finding out about union talk and firing those people before the whole store can vote and sign on with SWU) so each store is a great win!
