Starbucks on Monday announced it is forming a joint venture with Boyu Capital to operate the company’s locations in China. Under the terms of the deal, Boyu, an alternative asset management firm, will pay Starbucks roughly $4 billion to hold up to a 60% interest in the joint venture. I’ve been a daily drinker for about 5 years, primarily a grande iced coffee with sf vanilla. This weekend, my husband I decided to tighten up our finances due to the state of the world I guess? Been trying to make my own Caramel macchiato at home but I can never get it to taste right. Hello folks, I have close to 400 stars to redeem by the beginning of next month. I was strongly drawn to get the 400 Stars select merchandise since I drink a lot of iced coffee at home/work, so that would be a good and sustainable splurge and a long-term investment. I’m curious to hear why people consistently go to Dunkin. Personally, I think it’s one of the most mediocre and inconsistent operations out there. I don’t go often, but when I do, it’s almost always disappointing. The coffee drinks are just awful in my opinion. But to be fair, I get that most people aren’t going to Dunkin for “great coffee.” Their lattes look like chai lattes, and half the time I’m not even convinced there’s espresso in them.
