Sport Clips Locations

Hi everyone, I recently got hired at a luxury barbershop and I've been kind of freaking out because I want to ensure I give the best experience to my clients. I've been working at sport clips and at other shops where it was more of a quantity vs quality environment. Where I never had time to connect with clients.Does anyone have any advise on how to build connections with my clients? If you have a similar situation, what helped you to transition from a corporate salon to a barbershop?

I stopped doing hair after 11 years because of wrist pain but I’m thinking about going back just like 1 or 2 days a week for extra spending money and because I’m bored af not working lol. I’m debating if I should go to great clips (I’ve worked for a franchise around where I live that was pretty decent) or should I try sport clips? I’ve never worked for them before. I know it depends on franchises but to those who have worked at both which do you like better? Thanks

Three days ago I started posting YT shorts, on daily basis (so far). My goal is, surprisingly, to get viral and ideally monetised. It's just an experiment, so my hopes aren't high but I want to give it a try. My first two shorts (new account, zero subs) got like 1,6k views each and **only 33% stayed vs swiped ratio**. I know the views don't matter much in the beginning, as the algoritm is still figuring out the audience, but the swiped ratio is apparently crucial. I need this obviously to be at least those 70% to get some exposure, but I can't think of a good way to make a better hook that would be more universal to more people while still sticking to my niche. I'm looking for some suggestions for getting a men's haircut in the city. Looking for a basic haircut with a wash afterwards. Not looking for a full service salon as they seem to be more pricy for a basic haircut. I've been going to Sport Clips in the city for 2 years and had good experiences with a few of the stylists, but something has happened to that place in the past 3 or 4 months. It's really gone downhill. Every stylist I liked has quit or moved to another location way far out in the county. I've tried a few other stylists but just not getting the service or haircut I'd like.

I grew up going to men’s barbershops in the DC, Northern Va area. Recently, I’ve let myself go and started going to sports clips and then REALLYYY let myself go and started hitting up great clips 😩 just because of the timely convenience. My last barber only took walk ins you’d scribble your name on a notebook and wait your turn. I’d be in there Saturday morning 8am until noon sometimes… it was only $20 with the tip and he did a great job, but the time I spent in there simply made it not worth it. Hi! I am looking for a place where I could get a nice men's haircut and also potentially buy styling product that works with my needs. Does anyone have any recommendations that might work for me? Ideally I'd want something in Richardson or the surrounding area (10-15 minutes from Custer & Renner).
