Does the New Balance size chart / the measurement on the shoe (e.g., 29 cm) refer to the length of the insole? My longer foot is 28.3 cm; what size of the MiUSA 998 should I buy? I have a high instep, plus I wear orthopedic insoles that are 3/4-length, and my foot is about 10 cm wide. I usually wear a size 45.5 (46) in Saucony because they have a fairly narrow fit. For 2002 models, EU size 45 is usually a good fit. By the way, how do you check for a perfect fit? Do you push your foot forward and slip your index finger in at the back of the heel?

why are new balance shoes so long? my size 9 vomero 5 + saucony omni 9 are the same in terms of length(heel to toe) to all the new balance ive tried thats 8.5 mens size. is there a specific reason for that? any benefit to have extra toe space ?? so far only the nb 1000 fits me perfectly at 8.5, 2002r, 1906r, hierro v9, 990v6 they all fit like a size 10 compare to my other size 9 shoes, and if i go half size down then forefoot is too right even tho length is perfect(8.5). im planning to buy a 992miUSA and im not sure which size to order. any opinion is appreciated. thanks !!

I just bought the Skechers Viper Pro and they look really well made and feel good. The Insole design is the biggest part of the shoe, as it’s emphasized all over the box, and is ‘designed to mold to your foot’.
