New to door dash. What’s up with these immediate tip bumps? I’ve had this happen about 20 times in the past couple weeks. It’s usually less than a couple bucks, so I always thought DD bumped the pay for some reason. This order makes it evident the bump was customer tip, because the tip amount is more than the original offer. Handed pizza to customer and it was instant, so I know they didn’t do it after delivery. At first I thought that perhaps because it was delivered within a certain time window that maybe the customer set a higher tip. My expectations of Alinea weren’t very high. I saw some negative reviews of it here, but I thought it would still be worth visiting when I was coming to Chicago. Maybe the food would be interesting and the theatrics would be fun and entertaining. By the end I was disappointed by it all. I would like to place an order for Safeway groceries via Instacart, but I am not clear on what is the process to get them delivered? Do I provide my apartment address and then wait downstairs for it to arrive? Or do I provide the shipping address? Please let me know if you have placed orders and what is the best way, Thanks

Just wanted to say thanks… FOR NOTHING!! You guys exploit drivers and customers. Forcing errors in the dashing app that affect my ratings/acceptance of orders and refusing to change them. I’m actually so impressed at how bad this is I don’t think I can actually be mad, but holy smokes I’m going to wreak absolute havoc the next time I deliver/order.

I want to preface that this isn’t a complaint by any means, just curious if anyone has gotten this before. Started as a stacked order for just Safeway and Target, got to Safeway and boom, another Safeway! I accepted quick and went about my shopping. As I drove to Target I got a FoodMaxx order! Target didn’t have the one item the customer wanted so I refunded it and boom, another order! From little ceasars. By the end of it I spent ~30 min picking everything up (I quick with shopping orders at my local grocery stores) and dropped off to 4 locations all in one go, has anyone ever had this many stacked before? Any downsides to accepting them all?

This was weird and the first time it's happened in 2600 deliveries. I had just finished a shopping order at 1 am at Safeway (the $8.75 one) and was driving to the customer and doordash called me and said they were going to give me an extra $11 upon completion of the order. They added it as $3 extra delivery and $8 reimbursement. Does anyone know what's up with that? Not that I mind or anything lol

I was sad, but not surprised, when my 2019 Specialized Como 2.0 died. Death was apparent immediately because there was zero motor assistance, and the screen data was messed up. The screen displayed (1) Motor Error and (2) Low Battery - even though the battery level showed 57%. That's incongruous and bad. From here on r/, I gleaned that the problems would be (1) clean the battery and frame terminals (contact cleaner or DeOxit), and (2) replace coin button in display (I was cautioned that the special size battery -- CR1220 -- might be difficult to find). Still, I can do these simple maintenence tasks. I already have contact cleaner. The CR1220 was in stock at the local small Safeway...
