Last night had some pretty steady offers. Usually run in blocks of 4-5 hours or until I make $100. Keeps me from getting burnt out on people. But if over 2 hours I avg about $15-18 I call it and sign out.

My service network failed me Monday and made me miss an order. Been stuck at 79% AR but 30 deliveries later and I'm still not at 80%. Not a bad day though!

Been noticing this pattern for a couple of years. If it’s busy enough, you have a higher chance of getting rewarded for taking low pay offers. This is more Cali meta since it’s easy to do with prop 22. A lot harder if your state has $2 base pay and upside down orders.

We went to do an in person shopping today and parked near the online grocery pick up section. There are nine parking spaces, five of them had empty cars. When we came out 30 minutes later, there were eight cars. I have had to wait for a space to open before when doing a pickup, waiting for someone to come out with their loaded cart and loaded everything into their car when there are open spaces in the lanes. This is selfish and needs to stop. People need to stop and think how their actions affect those around them. Also bad service. Getting Japanese service at haneda then arriving at lax where workers are in a bad mood. People just want to work or study in America. I sat in a Los Angeles bus and it was filthy. Princess mako and husband Kei moving to nyc? I think she was riding public buses. I used to live near national parks. Japanese tour bus would pull up to Safeway grocery store. Lots of traffic there but store would just have one toilet graffitied bathroom. Elderly Japanese waiting in line. Even Joji moved to America to go to school…. Also dodger stadium. Can’t imagine how dirty the bathrooms are in there.

Big thank you to this community. Long time lurker and first time poster. I recently visited Ketchikan 2 weeks ago, October 22-25 and spent time with my girlfriend. It was my first time in alaska and we had a wonderful time!!. Too bad, the weather, was very windy, rainy and cloudy my 4 days there. She took me to the following places: Alaskan and Proud, Safeway grocery/gas station, Walmart, Ocean View Restaurante, Alava's Fish N Chowder and B & D espresso. The Ferry ride was fun, riding across from the airport to the mainland and in expensive, depending if you want to walk, ride, or park on the ferry and ride. Can someone explain ma boi

New to door dash. What’s up with these immediate tip bumps? I’ve had this happen about 20 times in the past couple weeks. It’s usually less than a couple bucks, so I always thought DD bumped the pay for some reason. This order makes it evident the bump was customer tip, because the tip amount is more than the original offer. Handed pizza to customer and it was instant, so I know they didn’t do it after delivery. At first I thought that perhaps because it was delivered within a certain time window that maybe the customer set a higher tip. My other thought, DD isn’t showing the full tip amount in the original offer. I don’t see much incentive in that, so my question I guess, is w...
